OH MY GOD I'M SO EXCITED!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteNow that's a show I have been missing on my screen. Felt like flavours from all my favorite S-shaped shows: Andromeda, Stargate even got a Star Trek and Farsante vibe from it.
ReplyDeleteooooh!
ReplyDeleteWait! Was that Jodelle Ferland and Roger Cross?! And did I also see Zoie Palmer?!
ReplyDeleteYes on Ferland and Cross. Had to look up Palmer to make sure since I have never seen Lost Girl but yes on her as well.
ReplyDeleteI've seen all their BTS photos and production photos and i was impress but seeing it now come together in a promo is really impressive! I am so excited for this!
ReplyDeleteWoah ign is covering this? Does this mean it's good?
ReplyDeleteyep Zoie Palmer, looks like she is going to kick ass.
ReplyDeleteFrom the writers and producers of Stargate I expect nothing but greatness!
ReplyDeleteJust noticed June 12th is a Friday :( Did you learn nothing from Helix and 12 Monkeys, SyFy?
ReplyDeleteThis is a Space show anyway isn't it? So SyFy ratings don't matter that much.
Me too! This I think will be the first summer where my TV slate is pretty full!
ReplyDeleteYa! I have more to watch this spring/summer than i did since the Fall season began!
ReplyDeleteKilljoys is a Space show, not this one.
ReplyDeleteOh yh that's right, my bad, thanks :)
ReplyDeletethis gives me Firefly feels for some reason! lol CAN'T WAIT!
ReplyDeleteI have been so excited for this show to air ever since I found out Zoie Palmer was going to be on it. After watching the preview for it, I am even more excited. Looks like an amazing show with an amazing cast!
ReplyDeleteah, more Canadian Scifi, should be interesting if all be it bland.
ReplyDeleteLooks interesting!
ReplyDeleteIt's great to have a "Sci - Fi Action" series back on SyFy finally (how long has it been since Farscape ended, 2003) plus Zoie Palmer equals extra "AWESOMENESS" (not mention using my "original sign - off on a regular again...........it's been so long)! Really longing forward to this and responding with you, fellow posters! 4 THE PALMERIST MOVEMENT, I am still Nobody!!!
ReplyDeletefantastic!
ReplyDeletefinally some good old fashion scifi. I'm so fed up with all those damn superhero shows trend.
looks like a great cast and OMG the producers of Stargate?!? I'm sold
looks really good!!! Roger Cross "Travis Verta" from Continuum a hero, AWESOME!!!
ReplyDeleteKilljoys is also co -produced by syfy. Either syfy executives don't understand the situation or they try to increase thei friday audience
ReplyDeleteI am defintely going to check out this series! But I never thought I never watch a new Syfy show again after Being Human, Lost Girl, and Continuum's final seasons...
ReplyDeletewhen i look at that cast shot i think of firefly
ReplyDeleteDamn this actually looks pretty freakin' great.
ReplyDeleteThis looks interesting but I already watch too many shows. I need to start crossing stuff off.
ReplyDeleteMe too
ReplyDeleteLooks like it could be good!
ReplyDeleteThis is reminding me of early 2000's SciFi and I couldn't ask for anything better.
ReplyDeleteEPIC!!!!!
ReplyDeleteHe's been on so many Sci-Fi shows!
ReplyDeleteContinuum, The Strain, Orphan Black, Eureka, Fringe, The 4400, Taken (Spielberg mini-series), Outer Limits, X-Files, Stargate SG-1, and one my favorite old shows from the Sci-Fi golden years, First Wave!
Looks absolutely amazing! The SGU vibes are making me even more excited for this, I really love the cast too.
ReplyDeleteSeems worth a shot. Can't be any worse than some of the newer stuff on Syfy lately (with the exception of 12 Monkeys).
ReplyDeleteSo, Stargate Universe + amnesia, basically.
ReplyDeleteThe character names will be very easy to remember lol
ReplyDeleteInteresting is the most I'm giving as of now. We'll see...
ReplyDeleteWOW! LOL does he beat Mark A. Sheppard in sci-fi shows appearances?
ReplyDeletethe two new videos are the same
ReplyDeleteHa! XD
ReplyDeleteHe may indeed.... I'm not sure I haven't looked the up to compare ever, but both have certainly done their fair share or Sci-Fi!!
He was also on Arrow, which now introduced a Lazarus Pit that can bring back the dead, so it should count as sci-fi too.
ReplyDeleteTrue!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure there are a few more shows as well.. The man has been a busy actor and done a lot of every genre, but especially shows filmed in Canada.
Yeah, I'm sure a quick browse through his IMDb page would reveal a lot more (Canadian) shows. I've been a fan of his since 'First Wave', though I admit I haven't seen every project of his since then.
ReplyDeleteyep, looks like Canadian scifi, bland.
ReplyDeletethis does look good and a great cast too
ReplyDeleteGood to see there are still some Sears Portrait Studios in space.
ReplyDeleteMeh on the cast photos, but pics like that are rarely really fun...
ReplyDeleteGetting a total Kaylee from Firefly vibe from the girl with the green hair.
ReplyDeleteThe June 15th premiere date stated on the poster is of Syfy UK. It will still premiere on June 12th in the US.
ReplyDeleteI'm confusing this with Killjoys.
ReplyDeleteMy thoughts exactly. What a golden time that was. I've been missing it something fierce. Make sure to check out The Expanse when it premieres later this year, too; it's another space opera show and it looks pretty cool.
ReplyDeleteThe Friday night timeslot on SyFy strikes me as a bad idea. I don't know what it is about SyFy, but it's vehemently convinced it can return to the kind of ratings/critical success it was pulling on Fridays with Farscape/SG-1/Atlantis/BSG/et al when I don't know that that's possible. All the props in the world to them for beginning to produce shows I'm interested in again (lifelong space opera fanatic here) but they need to embrace the fact that so many sci-fi fans abandoned their network in the mid-late 2000s. They need to choose a better timeslot or something.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely hyped for this. And The Expanse. Actually, especially The Expanse. I've started reading the books it's based upon and let's just say I'm praying the TV adaptation is handled well, because if it is, we're in for a real space renaissance.
I really hope that I can get past not liking Zoie Palmer from lost girl...
ReplyDeleteYay.
ReplyDeleteI get a Andromeda feel off it too
ReplyDeleteYou can always go to Roger's IMDB page to see if you've missed any.
ReplyDeleteZoie Palmer is an amazing actress. If you're basing your dislike of her from Lost Girl, you should give her a chance on this show. Besides that, there are other amazing actors on the show.
ReplyDelete5 days! I can't wait :)
ReplyDeleteWhy sense8 doens't have Cast Promotional Photos?
ReplyDeleteThe promos have been a bit underwhelming...
