ReplyDeleteTNT and CW working together again. CW should strike a deal that The100 airs after The Last Ship over the summer. Could help the show! #WishfulThinking
Only Thea is missing. Laurel is in the first pic Ollie and Roy as Arsenal with Diggle.
ReplyDeleteReign is definitely getting shipped to Fridays/Summer like BatB!
ReplyDeleteHere's hoping.
ReplyDeleteWe'll know for sure on May 14th after the CW Upfronts.
Plus they're airing Smallville and Supernatural repeats
ReplyDeleteCool CW airing TNT shows again. Have they ever put an SPN repeat at 8 before?
ReplyDeleteoh I didn't notice. Sorry
ReplyDeleteDear CW,
ReplyDeleteYou wouldn't need some stupid countdown promotional campaign if you didn't have so many unnecessary breaks.
Last year they aired "Stairway to Heaven" as a repeat before "Do You Believe In Miracles?"
ReplyDeleteYes, in addition to episode AnnoDomini said, The CW aired 2 back to back original episodes as S6 Finale 'Event'. Also in the summer between S4 and S5 The CW aired a string of back to back S4 reruns leading up to the S5 premiere.
ReplyDeleteBeauty and the Beast is the most notable show you have on your network. Yet I don't see it listed here. What is the matter with you people? No other show even compares to this show yet you never seem to mention it or promote it or give it any publicity. This show has won 5 awards in 3 years what else do they have to do to get the recognition they deserve. Take a look at the international fan base., The show comes back on the air in 40 days and yet not even a mention about it as yet. You can bet I will never watch another CW show again once BATB is over , if that is the way you treat your cast and crew and fans. They deserve better treatment .
ReplyDeleteBATB will be on Thusdays starting May 21st
ReplyDeleteRight on mistyeyes919! Love your comment! Beauty and the Beast is brilliantly done by cast and crew. I was a huge fan of the original series but this modern version is just over the top and I am totally in love with the lessons learned and the role models it has created.. I feel that Ron Koslow's creation is being downgraded by the "non-attention" and that is not right by any means!
ReplyDeleteCW doesn't post this, not CW's fault ;) But I agree, the 'notables' should NOTE the return of #BATB S3 on May 21 for the reasons mentioned!
ReplyDeletespoiler tv, you have not mentioned the batb premiere on the 21st...
ReplyDeleteIt's on the calendar. What else do you need when it's still more than 6 weeks away?
ReplyDeleteBlame The CW for the images.
The Beauty and the Beast premiere date has already been announced. The notables section was to point out newly released information.
ReplyDelete-It is not the most notable show. That goes to The Flash/Jane. Depends on whose attention you want noted. Fans or critics.
ReplyDelete-You posted this lovely message on STV when it seems you are speaking to the CW. They have facebook, twitter and a website.
@anna We posted the Premiere 2 Months ago
ReplyDeletehttp://www.spoilertv.com/2015/02/beauty-and-beast-has-it-been-renewed.html
These are Scheduled Updates, not already known dates that we posted 2 months ago.
ReplyDeleteI like those characters.
ReplyDeleteThese are from the CW. We don't create these images
ReplyDeleteThank you for clarifying :)
ReplyDeleteThank you, wasn't aware of that :)
ReplyDeleteNo problem
ReplyDeleteSUPERNATURAL is the best show!!!
ReplyDeleteSeason finale. I don't know what I am going to do without the Originals. I swear its my addiction. Like IZombie and cant wait to see Beauty and the Beast. I suppose The Originals will start with something drastic happening
ReplyDeleteGrow up
ReplyDeleteSome of the breaks are necessary because of factors beyond their control, such as the holidays, sports events, and award shows. Other than hat, the amount of time needed to finished all filmed episodes from post-production.
ReplyDeleteIZombie is a wonderful show its my second fave after BATB ..:) not over bothered about the rest...Arrow is ok but as never hit the mark for me since S1...but stuck with it.Felicity new squeeze is a dish lol
ReplyDeleteI am speaking of the totally unnecessary one/two/three week breaks. Hiatuses I guess. Breaks I do not.
ReplyDeleteIsn't it sad that show is getting old and slowly comes to an end? 10 (11) years of investment into characters, despites ups and down, will be hard to forget. I kind of envy fans whose favorite show just started or being in the early seasons. They have years to enjoy, and us, diehard SPN fans, have to get ready for the last of it.
ReplyDeleteI still trying very hard to find the show that can replace Winchesters in my heart, so far unsuccessfully. I guess its the only TV love I am going to have. So be it!
Wow have you seen its ratings? They would be laugh at if they talked about this during upfronts.
ReplyDeleteI've already said sorry. I know that. No need to be rude. I'll delete the comment.
ReplyDeleteI dislike Laurel & i'm not a Olicity shipper.
ReplyDeleteAre U kidding me? U dislike Laurel? How didn't I notice this?
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, networks had to find ways to fill three-fifths of a 35-week television season even if it means stretching whole full 22/24 episode seasons from September all the way until May.
ReplyDeleteYa.That i do agree with.
ReplyDeleteI rarely post on Arrow, maybe that's why you missed it.Although this season, she has been tolerable IMO.
ReplyDeleteI'm confused, I thought your post was a Laurel hate post LOL, you said "no Laurel, Thea or Roy, I guess they only show what people want o see" and I interpreted like "Nobody likes Laurel" that's why I made my comment. Anyway, I dislike Olicity but I'm very happy with Felicity this season.
ReplyDeleteabsolutely, I think people are free to like/dislike all they want, but bashing the ACTRESS behind the characters is just ridiculous, not only Katie Cassidy but also Emily Bett Rickards and Caity Lotz who suffer from this too.
ReplyDeleteAnd that's just damn silly. I'd rather see networks stretch out holiday hiatuses rather than one/two/three week breaks here and there.
ReplyDeleteyes. Agree. :)
ReplyDeleteLaurel and Lauliver are my fav character and OTP. I don't like Olicity but I don't hate it either. Sorry for the missunderstanding. I said that because my eyes missed Laurel, Thea & Roy in the pics. I thought CW wanted to focus on Olicity. I confused Laurel with Felicity. LOL. Silly me.
ReplyDeleteThey can't always please someone.
ReplyDeleteYou mean they can't please a lot of people. I am definitely not the only one that has a problem with continuous breaks here and there.
ReplyDeleteOh no problem. I'm sorry If I was rude too, I love Laurel so much and enter bitch mode very fast when I see somebody talking sh!t about her LOL.
ReplyDeleteWould you rather do how ABC Family schedule their shows, split the seasons up in half and air them nearly 5-6 months apart so that shows run in a continuous run of 10 consecutive weeks?
ReplyDeleteAir the series on October. Run the 10 consecutive weeks until a holiday hiatus and prolong the hiatus until the last 12-13 weeks before a chosen season finale date and air the remaining episodes then. There wouldn't need to be five or six months apart.
ReplyDeleteEasier said than done. There's a lot of factors during the first 5 months of the year that would prevent shows from airing straight: DST, spring break, March Madness, Olympics, awards shows, local sports events covered by affiliates.
ReplyDeleteThings had to be planned out strategically in order to reach the target goal.
The CW already got one of your suggestions covered by kicking off their TV season on October, 2-3 weeks late than most networks. For that, we actually have a lesser breaks than the average network show.
The problem they now have is contending with again some stuff they can't control by the time New Year starts.
Except your complaints would be solved if they indeed had longer holiday hiatuses, which also enters the territory of a later season finale date, which is fine since it would make May sweeps only the more interesting if the season finales are in June instead.
ReplyDeleteIf new episodes kicked off in later March to April, then we're guaranteed on seeing them going all past May sweeps, similar to what the CW did with The 100 last year.
ReplyDeleteLast week's mini-break is supposedly the last for the CW shows.
The Messengers was supposed to premiere on the 10th along with Whose Line and that other new show about barbers but baseball preemptions throughout most major affiliates forced those three Friday shows to push their premieres to this week.
same.
ReplyDelete"If new episodes kicked off in later March to April, then we're guaranteed on seeing them going all past May sweeps, similar to what the CW did with The 100 last year."
ReplyDeleteMight have to elaborate because I see nothing wrong with this. May sweeps shouldn't mean season finales.
GREAT CW for SUPERNATURAL!!!
ReplyDeleteBecause may has always been the traditional period where most networks air their shows' season finales as May sweeps is the end of the TV season.
ReplyDeleteSo every network has to follow the leader? Once one network figuratively jumps off a bridge, The CW has to too? There's nothing wrong if The CW were to try something new.
ReplyDeleteThat's how the US TV season is, for 35-weeks from September to May, shows have to start and end within the same period. While it doesn't hurt to have one show overlap past May, that month is of great importance to all the networks for them not to sip it altogether.
ReplyDeleteCable has a different business model so they're the exception to the rule.
And once again, it's just silly to not think a network can try something different.
ReplyDeleteIf it's what make it conventional for them, then they'll just go for it.
ReplyDeleteSame thing can be said with Australia when their TV season starts in January/February. and ends sometime on or before November.
While conventional, it's not for the best. This is coming from a guy that have noticed so many breaks for years and years.
ReplyDeleteWell, there's always the alternative: year-round original programming from the likes of Telemundo and Univision aired stripped shows 5 days a week such as telenovelas.
ReplyDeleteFor a limited run of 20-30 weeks, telenovelas guarantees viewers a continuous viewing experience with absolutely no breaks until the final episode, no repeats, and fills otherwise empty hours.
That's not the only alternative. It might be for right now, but I said, and I'm like a broken record, The CW CAN be different. I mean when the network was first created, it was already different when it tried to hit a certain demographic which isn't a typical thing that CBS, NBC, FOX and ABC did.
ReplyDeleteYeah Supernatural!!! :D ♥
