    Severide? He's literally the most popular character on the show. I hope they aren't going to kill his character because half of Chicago Fire's viewers will leave.

    Of course he's going to be alright. I think he'll be back to fighting fires at the end of the season, or -- if ChiMed gets picked up -- half way into the next season. This would give him a storyline tying him to ChiMed characters in the meantime.
