YES! Can't wait to have Stalker back, promos during season finale of Scorpion please! Expecting around ~1.5/1.6 for final 3 episodes.
ReplyDeleteOK, it's nice that we have to wait a week less for Stalker's return, but this sudden time change is weird. Have all Stalker and NCIS: LA episodes moved forward a week? Are their finales a week earlier now or do they have a break on either May 4 or 11 so their finales will still be on May 18? The latter option would be pretty strange IMO.
ReplyDeleteFrom CBS's online schedule, it looks like Stalker will run a rerun of the episode next week on May 4th.....? Wondering why CBS decided to push it forward in the first place.
ReplyDeleteCBS canges MOM timeslot so much but I am not concerned because it has shown this season it can hold its own in any timeslot on thursday night.
ReplyDeleteYes, both are on repeat on May 4th, so both will air their final two episodes on May 11th and May 18th.
ReplyDeleteCBS has 100% lost it this year with the schedule. I strongly believe there was someone new put in charge. It's not even normal what they are doing.
ReplyDeleteThe monkeys continue to run it!
ReplyDeleteMonkeys would do a better job
ReplyDeleteWow, that is awful scheduling. CBS has really made it messy this season. I was just about to write that this might be good for the show because it would have ratings data from two episodes (April 27 and May 4) before a final decision is made. But now that's apparently not true, I have no idea what CBS is doing anymore. Is there something special on May 4? Not any sports or news coverage I believe.
ReplyDeleteCBS it's the only network that's lost it when it comes to scheduling this year. lol
ReplyDelete12 Monkeys would.
ReplyDeleteCurrent schedule that I have for May 4th is
ReplyDelete8PM - Two Broke Girls (original)
8.30PM - Mike and Molly (repeat)
9PM - Stalker (repeat - of 1.18)
10PM - NCIS: Los Angeles (repeat)
It makes no sense.
It's unbelievable actually since it comes from CBS which used to be a very rational network. They wouldn't take too many risks but they would be conservative and predictable in what they would do. This is just... insane?
ReplyDeleteABC and CW schedule has been mostly on point this year. NBC has been nothing short of horrible but at least they've always been horrible, it's not so shocking. FOX, outside of the atrocities they've committed to Sunday schedule, has been ok I think. A few "could be done better" here and there, but nothing egregious.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe after all the occasions they've forced Mike and Molly to air sans 2 Broke Girls they will waste an original 2BG on a repeat. I think that has to be a mistake. Especially since they are finally both in sync right now, what would be the point of that? CBS is really crazy!
ReplyDeleteI'm laughing at loud right now! They are airing a repeat of Stalker 1.18 a week after it originally aired. Someone at CBS is really drunk or lacks some logical thinking.
ReplyDeleteOops. my bad. Meant to type original with Mike and Molly. No idea why I typed repeat, lol.
ReplyDeleteThe latter is most likely.
ReplyDeleteI think that has to be a mistake lol. They are completely insane otherwise lol
ReplyDeleteAh no problem! At least that parts is cleared up ;)
ReplyDeleteYes, at least they have something right in the 2BG/M&M scheduling. But the Stalker and NCIS LA scheduling baffles me.
ReplyDeleteThis season, and especially the 2015 part, CBS has done awful scheduling. Shows that have suffered most are Person of Interest, Scorpion and NCIS: Los Angeles which all had random episodes scheduled here and there. Of course you also have CSI and Cyber which are airing episodes outside of their normal time slots. I also feel that on various nights they have done a repeat of one show while showing a new episode from another show.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if they just haven't updated the listings yet, with only 3 episodes, you'd surely air them in consecutive weeks?!
ReplyDeleteThat would definitely make the most sense. Also because there is no apparent reason to move episode 18 forward while leaving 19 and 20 where they were. If they had moved all three episodes up, it would at least make some sense. This move doesn't, not at all.
ReplyDeleteIt's the "few 'could be done better' here and there" that I'm thinking about. ;) But it's neither here nor there.
ReplyDeleteI don't say anything anymore, I really don't know.
ReplyDeleteI think Scorpion ended up with a great schedule after all, since they allowed it to run all that time straight in the fall and they didn't force it to last until May. Yes, during the last 1.5 month we had the annoying one on, one off, one on, one off but that really isn't that bad considering how many straight episodes we got. The thing with Scorpion is that I almost think they treated the show too well for their own good. It's their biggest drama freshman hit in years and they leave it out of May Sweeps? That makes no sense and it will hurt their averages drastically!
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't say the 2BG / M&M scheduling is correct. They should have ordered 24 episodes of 2 Broke Girls or double pumped Mike and Molly to avoid having it air in seas of repeats during Christmas, I am not sure what was the point of that.
ReplyDeleteYeah, that thing over Christmas was weird. Apart from that though, it hasn't been too bad. The scheduling of those two shows certainly isn't their biggest problem/insanity at the moment.
ReplyDeleteYeah that is true.
ReplyDeleteThose b*stards! My birthday is May 7th so it would have been a lovely birthday treat if they had of aired the finale of Mom on my birthday, but oh no, let's all laugh at Gavin and bring the finale one week earlier so it aires on April 30 instead. So unfair, would have been the perfect birthday treat. I love Mom!
ReplyDeleteI'm surprised they didn't make these moves sooner, especially the April 27 with originals. What were they thinking putting on a Scorpion (R) & LA (R) on the first Monday of sweeps AND after Scorpion aired its finale? The scheduling this entire season has been awful from the TAR/CSI mess to not revamping the schedule after winter break. Seriously, they should've moved CSI back to Wed to pave way for Cyber. Put Stalker at 10 on Tuesday, moved POI to Thursday and tried Elementary at 10 on Sunday. And they should UnRenew MS, it's bringing the whole night down. It's not going to suddenly find an audience - it's DVR numbers are terrible.
ReplyDeleteYou better get it together for next season CBS...
ReplyDeleteI don't remember their Summer schedule that well but from what I remember it isn't much better.
