    yep. also James Patterson, Dennis Lehane and formerly (no deceased) Stephen Cannell. they're all real life authors. don't think that necessarily points to the show ending.

    ABC just announce it is the SEASON FINALE only. So it will appear on MAY 11, 2015. That is not too far away. Upfronts are in that time period.

    ABC announced EVERYTHING as season finale, and we all know 1 or 2 shows will be SERIES FINALE:)

    Before the series ends, I want to say Castle's friends from the police station and his author friends to play poker. I think it would be a great scene.
