  1. ZOMG ! :o Can't wait to se that episode !

    ReplyDelete
  2. Please don't tell me they're going to use the pits to screw with Thea's character. That girl has been through enough already.

    ReplyDelete
  3. Sadly I think that they're to do that :/

    ReplyDelete
  4. they are, I guess we'll soon wish that they kept her dead -,-

    ReplyDelete
  5. And there goes Sara randomly passing by.

    ReplyDelete
  6. Most viewers have been waiting almost three full seasons for Thea to finally settle in and even out and now this horse sh*t. Season three is the gift that keeps on giving. I sincerely hope I'm fretting over nothing here but this season has made me skeptical of almost everything on Arrow.

    ReplyDelete
  7. I LOVED the end of the episode (I LOVE Thea more than anyone else but think about what her death would cause? A brilliant dramatic storyline for Oliver).

Killer her or don't but don't play with the concept of death.

    ReplyDelete
  8. That went out the window early on in the series with Oliver's herbs from Lian Yu.

    ReplyDelete
  9. It should be temporary.

    ReplyDelete
  10. they at least kept the death concept alive then,

"Someone dies? Doesen't matter, just Lazarus Pit 'em"

    ReplyDelete
  11. Dude they won't have any access to them after this. And you're taking this fear to an extreme place.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Same thing bigger scale. Fatal poisonous bullet wound that supposedly is an instant death sentence? Just slap some green herb-y paste on it and shake it off. One miraculously prevents death, the other brings you back from it.

    ReplyDelete
  13. so much for not doing the obvious. but can't expect much from a paper bag.

    ReplyDelete
  14. And the herbs unlike the pits Oliver will have constant access to.

    ReplyDelete
  15. herbs = shark bite

Pit = mutated shark that is rocketed up to space and devours 20 planets before falling back to earth

    ReplyDelete
  16. That's sort of the point. Everything about Thea has been temporary since the beginning of the series. Her "journey" is now at three seasons and counting and as a character she's still all over the place. Not enough progress is being made.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Is that an Olicity hookup I see? (Ignoring the whole "dead back to life" thing because it's annoying.)

    ReplyDelete
  18. Is Sara already back? Is she going to show up in the episode? UGH just don't! And tell me Thea is just injured and not dead! Will she become full on crazy? I hope not. That shot of her jumping on Oliver was kinda scary.
DAMN IT! Why did they show it in the promo! I wanted to hear her say it on the show!!!!! Felicity and Ray better be broken up before that happened.
First look at Oliver as a league member. I'm not ready to see this.

    ReplyDelete
  19. I'm hoping he's finally run out of whatever those herbs were. He hasn't used them or mentioned them for a while now.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Nah he just switched to Penicillin tea.

    ReplyDelete
  21. He could have used some of that in the first two seasons when he was getting laid left and right.

    ReplyDelete
  22. now that it's been confirmed that the lazarus pit can revive people, I wonder that's what happens/happened to Sara with regards to the spin-off. but she's been dead for month, first kept in a freezer, than burried - that's kind of a problem. of course it could also be Flahs's time traveling to prevent her death, but that would have too much of an impact on Arrow. I don't see a good way to bring her back (still, I'm glad she will be).

    ReplyDelete
  23. not sure it's Sara, we can't see her face. but she will be part of the new spin-off show, so she has to return sooner or later. Also, with the Arrow/Flash promos you can never be sure it's really a scene from the next episode.

    ReplyDelete
  24. I get that there may be a potential Olicity love scene in this episode but is that really the whole purpose of Felicity going on the trip. Malcom and Diggle I get but Felicity not so much. The whole season Oliver has kept her at arms length to protect her and know he is bringing her to the belly of the beast. Besides are they really leaving SC and its protection in the hands of Laurel and Ray.

    ReplyDelete
  25. I'm guessing the Laz Pit revives her and makes her evil? White Canary maybe?

    ReplyDelete
  26. it possible all costume-heroes has been outlaw by SCPD so I doubt Laurel would go out like that.....

    ReplyDelete
  27. One @maclives doesnt like that must see moment xD

    ReplyDelete
  28. Lmaoooo your comment is hilarious.

    ReplyDelete
  29. (Eyes closed. Wishful thinking) Please break up. Please break up. Please have the talk first. Please have the talk first. Please save Thea. Please save Thea!! Diggle keep an eye on Oliver. Make sure he doesn't crack.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Haha Thanks, I try. :P

    ReplyDelete
  31. I feel the last two sentences didn't get enough wishful thinking lol

    ReplyDelete
  32. Felicity Smoak: cheating girlfriend, that's a first

    ReplyDelete
  33. Again they have her as a victim. And I was told that in the comics it's also supposed to be temporary. But Malcolm's: 'It changes people in the soul.' doesn't exactly sound temporary... I swear, if they use this to screw her up, I'm done. I was hoping we were finally gonna get somwhere, not screw-up town again...

    ReplyDelete
  34. Pretty sure they're done. Ray seemed to acknowledge Oliver and Felicity's feelings at the end.

    ReplyDelete
  35. I thought Willa Holland did a really good job with Thea this year, so I wouldn't mind her having another season of conflicted storyline. Season 3 has been pretty bad but Roy and Thea in 3b saved some of it.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Didn't you see Ray's sad eyes at the end of this episode? I'll give you odds he breaks up with her at the start of the next one.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Felicity's a key member of Team Arrow and one of the few people whose incredibly close to Oliver. She should be there. They should be fine for a week or two, and not bad protector's they're both courageous and capable.

    ReplyDelete
  38. No I mean the pit's effects are. I disagree, she's far different from the drug using brat of season one. More mature, selfless and understanding. She's grown quite far.

    ReplyDelete
  39. The way they're framing this isn't conflict. It's some sort of artificial darkening of her soul from the Lazarus Pits. That's not a conflicted storyline set up by a solid foundation of character history and experience. It's a cheap left turn from a plot device.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Malcolm lies out his ass 99% of the time. And I doubt it.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Won't last. The pit is temporary in it's mental effects.

    ReplyDelete
  42. She is far different. She's always far different. That's what I'm getting at. Her personality and her motivations change more often than wind direction. She has basically always been whatever the writers need her to be and her growth is always temporary.

    ReplyDelete
  43. First Laurel and now Felicity? I don't think I'm okay with the show writing women jumping Oliver's dick the moment they break up with their boyfriend.

Wait, it would be EXACTLY the same plot as season one?

    ReplyDelete
  44. Well, if that's where they're going then that is a different story. I can take an episode or two of crazy Thea going nuts. That might actually be fun to watch.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Again I have to disagree on that. She's been consistently mature, selfless and headstrong this season. Her growth has always stayed the same, she just gets f*cked with the most mentally.

    ReplyDelete
  46. You are utterly and completely right, I couldn't agree more. The thing is though that usually I had somewhat of an answer for is... Why would he lie in this case?

This show would be so much better for me after 2 seasons and this stressful season, that Thea would just become Speedy, especially with Roy now, it's the perfect opening.

But it's still burning in my head, why would he lie about this? And what's with the freaky jumping?

    ReplyDelete
  47. It would be, but she seems to (particularly bts stuff is to be believed) on her way to being Speedy.

    ReplyDelete
  48. She will by the end. She's been fitted for a mask. Don't know. Maybe so he could manipulate Thea and strengthen/ build any type of relationship. He could also be wrong, it's not like Malcolm has gone through the pit.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Well, It clearly is not Laurel so at least is someone with Sara's costume but yes, she's gonna have to appear sooner or later.

    ReplyDelete
  50. She is basically Roy's de facto replacement at this point but I would have enjoyed an episode or two of Thea unhinged.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Right. So should she weep over the boyfriend she didn't love? It's not. Not even close. The circumstances and reasons are different and Ray has accepted Felicity's feelings for Oliver and appears to have moved on.

    ReplyDelete
  52. I would like that. Then she becomes Speedy.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Yeah, I know that, and I also saw the Speedy-esque hoodie, so I was finally counting on it again, and then they have tha bastard screwing with my mind again.

I'm just saying, for me it would be the biggest F-u from the show and everything if that mask fitting wasn't for her becoming Speedy.

It was also pretty stressful and painful to watch xD

    ReplyDelete
  54. I don't think so. From the synopsis of the episode, I think Felicity's gonna try and get him out of the deal (but she'll probably fail 'cause they need to keep the level of angst up).

    ReplyDelete
  55. Is not Caity Lotz and is not Katie Cassidy, WTF is that.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Isn't she going to be the chick with white hair walking around?

    ReplyDelete
  57. At least it would be a reason for a drastic personality shift. Usually she doesn't even get the consideration for that.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Oh that wasn't wishful thinking. That was an order.

    ReplyDelete
  59. I didn't watch the Canadian promo (never do) but by your reaction, I guess you got a better view. It was in the US promo also, but I guess you missed it. It was quick though.

    ReplyDelete
  60. It just looks so damn creepy seeing Thea being raised down to the Lazarus Pit. Bravo for The CW in letting Arrow do this. Just looks so freaking cool!

And I guess the Olicity moment will indeed be Felicity's goodbye to Ollie and not just the two becoming something or what have you.

So Ollie joins the League for Thea to be resurrected....I still believe that only Ra's uses the pit and that's why he made such a deal with Ollie, which goes into my theory that Nyssa will take control of the League and then she'll use the pit to bring back Sara as the White Canary.

    ReplyDelete
  61. But this is such an excellent idea for Thea. She will actually become a killer that she foolishly thought she was just because Malcolm drugged her.

    ReplyDelete
  62. So Thea is going to be LP'd. Looks like there is going to be a drastic change in her. Was that Sara walking? or was it China White? I hope to god Felicity breaks up with Palmer before getting on that plane or else I will loose all respect for my favorite character.

    ReplyDelete
  63. I don't care if Thea comes out of the pool, a bit changed, as long as she is still cool with her brother.

    ReplyDelete
  64. She will, Guggenheim comfirmed via Tumblr a while back that they won't be making her a cheater. I think Ray will break up with her because she's in love with Oliver. He will be the last truth bomber Oliver and Felicity need.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Still I would have liked if they broke up this episode. That would have been better. It doesn't sit right with me Ray and Felicity break up in one episode and she has sex with Oliver the very same. UGH.

    ReplyDelete
  66. Why is it always Thea. .Not another season fixing her.. WTF. And what about Roy!? Who is fare more interesting than Thea. Why is he not with the team? Is he seriously on the run when he could have benen sagt and sound at Nanda Parbat where no COPS will look? Roy is always exclouded in the these eps. I hope they get the team back togheter beror season finale. Even if Roy's out, he is haunted by cops and where is he supposed to go? This feels so weird!!!

    ReplyDelete
  67. I don't get that. They break up because of Felicity's feelings for Oliver.

    ReplyDelete
  68. All I am saying is some time gap between the break up and Oliver/Felicity sex would have been appreciated by me. I am glad that they have in the last few episodes went out of their way to show Felicity does not love Ray and she loves Oliver. Otherwise it would have been really awkward.

    ReplyDelete
  69. I do agree that is a goodbye roll given the decision Ollie has to make, so, it is going to be touching and I get it.

But yeah, I don't really see Ray having even the time of moving on since this is going to happen like, right away.

I really don't blame Felicity, but with how sudden this whole situation is (Ray and Felicity are STILL together, regardless of feelings) there is no way it's going to feel respectful to break up with Ray and sleep with Oliver all in the same episode.

Hell, for all the sudden nature of it, I fear they are not even going to break them up before, because I don't discard them playing the "throes of passion" card.

Felicity is committed to make her relationship with Ray work, and there is no way of flipping that switch tastefully in one episode, no matter how much Ray is aware of her feelings for Oliver.

    ReplyDelete
  70. Well he seems to recognize that they're done given his denial of saying I love you and then that look he has when Oliver and Felicity stand together after Roy left. Felicity doesn't seem committed. She couldn't say I love you, almost told Oliver she loves him in this episode and held back upon almost kissing Ray. It appears she's pulling away as while she obviously cares a lot about Ray she appears to realize that she doesn't love him and doesn't want to lead him on.

    ReplyDelete
  71. They suck at time gaps in this show. Remember S01 when Laurel was asking Oliver to help her get back together with Tommy and next thing we know she was sleeping with Oliver? Then S02 Oliver was asking Sara to move in together and two episodes later he was saying I love you to Felicity (ruse, but still true). At this point it is almost a tradition.

    ReplyDelete
  72. As I said the only saving grace here is they almost beat us on our heads and Ray Palmer's head the last two episodes that Felicity loves Oliver and not Ray. They should have had atleast given one episode between both incidents. smh.

    ReplyDelete
  73. I would say its the same night.

    ReplyDelete
  74. Oh Poor Oliver in that NZ promo. So she is not at the brink of death. She dies. Poor Queen babies. What is it with Queen family and getting skewered. Moira, Oliver and now Thea got skewered. Even extended family Tommy and Malcolm got skewered. They are walking talking Shish Kababs.

    ReplyDelete
  75. I mean when 3x19 ended and when break up takes place.

    ReplyDelete
  76. Uh, Felicity and Ra's al Ghul - that's one conversation I'm looking forward to see.

    ReplyDelete
  77. I want to smack these producers. I don't like violence. But this will make me feel good. Can I ?

    ReplyDelete
  78. "They are walking talking Shish Kababs" hahahahahahahahaha that line killed me lol

    ReplyDelete
  79. I hate she died. That is a line they shouldn't have crossed, cause every following death. But I assume Thea coming back won't be that smooth.
    "Shish Kababs" #lmfao

    ReplyDelete
  80. *groans* she really is dead. UGH I did not want this to happen. And now death means nothing on the show and everyone who died before died in vein, Now it feels like they weren't lucky enough to have an access to the pit and too bad for them Ra's wasn't woowing Oliver when they died! Since it's Thea I'll try really hard to get over that but I'm giving you the side eye. That Spider Monkey jump is still creepy.
    SHUT UP MALCOLM!
Plz tell me that's a Felicity/Ra's confrontation! I'm so there for that.

    ReplyDelete
  81. I had hope that she would be at the brink of death and not die. Ugh.. This is annoying. I hope they destroy the pit this season. Otherwise every time someone dies in this show I will be thinking why they are not using pits.

    ReplyDelete
  82. Imagine all of them sharing a skewer Moira, Thea, Oliver, Tommy and Malcolm.

    ReplyDelete
  83. If the pit is not destroyed this season I will be so disappointed.

    ReplyDelete
  84. Yeah same here. Terrible choice from my pov, but seems like a strong emotional episode. Should be good on all other fronts.

    ReplyDelete
  85. She'll say the 3 words. Finally.

    ReplyDelete
  86. Whoa very morbid image lol

    ReplyDelete
  87. If the pit changes her I hope they dont do it like they did Roy when he was on Mirakuru.

    ReplyDelete
  88. Maybe the stunt double? This isn't the first time they've shown the stunt double in a promo (video or photo). Back in season 2 they clearly showed a photo of Atlin Mitchell in the Canary costume. I guess they think fans don't know the physical features of the actresses well enough to notice.

    ReplyDelete
  89. Yeah, just as we were about to get close to her becoming Speedy, of course they throw up yet another obstacle that is likely going to ruin that completely. Finally Thea was slightly getting somewhere, and instead, of course she had to be a freaking victim again, that then actually dies, and then comes back totally changed?

I mean, especially with Malcolm's line, even more so in the extended promo, what the hell is the point of this? I thought the Pit's effects were supposed to be temporary, not some profound change deep in the soul that makes them jump creepily and like SUPER evil out of the pit.

Since they've already said that she's going to have a last scene this season on a helipad or something, it wouldn't surprise me with all of this they turn her evil anyway, and then have her die there for real or something... It's obvious they are still doing EVERYTHING possible to prevent her from actually becoming Speedy.

    ReplyDelete
  90. As someone pointed out before, and I also did in another comment. For me personally, i WILL care, a lot if she comes out changed, especially if she's suddenly evil/crazy or something... Someone already reminded the producers themselves in a comment here that this season was supposedly about saving Thea's soul, not making her a freaking victim again, skewering her and then suddenly changing her SOUL, you know, that thing they said multiple times this season was about. So what's the point of having this entire season be for nothing, if now they're going to totally screw up her soul?

    ReplyDelete
  91. Yeah, I know, it's really pissing me off to be honest. I can kinda live with the fact that AGAIN she's a victim, because I thought after this, with Roy now mostly gone, she'd step up, next to Ollie, and fight back, but now they're making it sound and look a lot like she's not going to be Thea anymore at all, but probably back to some insane Malcolm pet or something...

I really hope they're just messing with us, just like I think it's the lamest thing ever, to put the Olicity sex scene in the same freaking episode as Thea being dead an ressurected, but hey, it's not the first time AT ALL, the writers and this show proves that they don't give a crap about Thea, and they'd rather keep on letting her suffer and be all over the place, instead of finally letting her become Speedy.

    ReplyDelete
  92. Ooh Ra's/Felicity face-off ! :o Is it wednesday yet ?! Can somebody tell me what Ra says to her. I heard "I may help you fulfill his destiny" but i'am not sure.

    ReplyDelete
  93. I am hoping, and I think I am right, that the way they're going to handle this is that the longer you have been dead the more damage the Pits do to your soul. If Thea is revived quickly the effects will be minimal and temporary.

If you've been dead a relatively long time before you are revived...Well, I guess we'll see that soon enough.

    ReplyDelete
  94. its "goodbye" and "why did we wait so long" sex, it happens.

    ReplyDelete
  95. Should I watch The Foreign promos or stay away like always?

    ReplyDelete
  96. Still there's no way to resolve that tastefully in one episode and then have her and Oliver fucking.

And first of all, uncertainty of your feelings has little to do with commitment; if you realize you don't love someone, and will not love them as the relationship progresses, it does not suddenly releases you from the commitment you made. Felicity really didn't even seem to be thinking to break up with Ray, and even if he does "let her go" -which would make him the noble one- It still will end with Felicity shacking up with her ex in the same episode.

    ReplyDelete
  97. You can watch the NZ promo but stay WAY WAY away from the Canadian one.

    ReplyDelete
  98. That's not true. Tommy, Moura, Sara, Shado, Robert hell even Thea though that's temporary all died for a reason. And their deaths all hugely affected the characters and plot. And basically all characters will and have stayed dead. This the pit erases all consequences is ridiculous. Death still affects these characters, and Oliver will only use it once since he'll only have access to it this one time. It's like how Barry can time travel, but death still will have meaning and reason in the Flash.

    ReplyDelete
  99. Because only the league can access them. Only Ra's knows where the vast majority are.

    ReplyDelete
  100. "DAMN IT! Why did they show it in the promo! I wanted to hear her say it
on the show!!!!! Felicity and Ray better be broken up before that
    happened."

Yeah, I'm a bit surprise they put her saying that in the promo, but maybe it's not the first time she says it. :) And yeah, they better be.

    ReplyDelete
  101. Really Koky. Of all people.

    ReplyDelete
  102. My thoughts exactly. lol

    ReplyDelete
  103. Ok. I'll do that. Thank you.

    ReplyDelete
  104. What? You want me to reply and turn this into a fight? I don't like that they used the pit to bring back the dead but you do so how do you think this is going to end? And by the way I wasn't being rude, really I wasn't. Read the comment in a calm voice that's smiling a little and you'll get my meaning :D

    ReplyDelete
  105. The break-up last night would've worked better for me, too.

    ReplyDelete
  106. The last sentence! LOL!

    ReplyDelete
  107. For you, I hope so. :)

    ReplyDelete
  108. You know me so well :D

    ReplyDelete
  109. Probably, LOL really lame. Oh boy, I'm already seeing Sara just showing up alive and they saying she was alive all this time.

    ReplyDelete
  110. so 1% is just gas lmao.

    ReplyDelete
  111. In the promos it shows Ollie carrying a body wrapped up and last i checked Thea is in the hospital in the promo. I'm thinking they are gonna resurrect Sara and the effects of the pit will cause her to go against Ollie and the team having her becoming the White Canary.

    ReplyDelete
  112. Someone else mentioned something similar and I'm guessing you're probably right.

    ReplyDelete
  113. I am fed up. Everyone's doing what they always do and automatically taking the most extreme reaction to what the pit's use will do to this show for no reason other than paranoia and fear. And it bothers the hell out of me.

    ReplyDelete
  114. i hope so, because i can't root for someone who cheats. Do not ship her with Oliver FYI

    ReplyDelete
  115. And I know that and since we both feel this strongly about that issue I knew this conversation won't end well and that's why I didn't argue back. I wasn't being dismissive.
So agree to disagree on the pit thing? (notice that I'm ignoring the paranoia and fear part)

    ReplyDelete
  116. except Laurel was with Oliver AFTER she broke up with Tommy, Felicity looks like she's STILL with Palmer

    ReplyDelete
  117. because they FINALLY embraced that they're in a comic-book world

    ReplyDelete
  118. Okay then. So Ralicity?

    ReplyDelete
  119. Yeah agree to disagree.

    ReplyDelete
  120. I see the Felicity love scene is nothing more than just a good bye?

    ReplyDelete
  121. SPOILERish PROMO!!!!!!!!
    Wait what!??????????
Ra's telling Fel she should tell Oliver she loves him???? Where is this leading up to?

    ReplyDelete
  122. We were all wrong. Ra's is not a bad guy. He is cupid.

    ReplyDelete
  123. Asia Promo - LOL Demon's head playing love doctor.

    ReplyDelete
  124. LoL
The whole time he wanted an Olicity baby and go all Finding Carter on it.

    ReplyDelete
  125. He wants that demon baby badly.

    ReplyDelete
  126. It was never Oliver he wanted. Its the baby. We were all worried for nothing.

    ReplyDelete
  127. That was why he hated Sara and passed on Nyssa. That Mr Guggenheim is a smart cookie.

    ReplyDelete
  128. Ra's already has a nursery filled with toy swords and bows. Poor man. I feel for him.

    ReplyDelete
  129. so Ra's Al Ghul has been drinking the crazy juice LOL

    ReplyDelete
  130. even Ra's ships Olicity!

    ReplyDelete
  131. I don't know Ra's angle here, but everything he's done in this arc is to sever Oliver's ties to his old life to get him to fall in line with Ra's idea of his "destiny." I don't how this is going to work exactly, but my guess is that with the Arrow identity trashed, the police on the look-out for him, Roy gone and Thea out of commission, Ra's sees Felicity as the last big obstacle to getting Oliver over to his way of thinking once and for all. Somehow getting Felicity to talk Oliver into it, or to break his heart and leave, seems to be the gist of what he's going for, so far as I can tell. I don't know why she has to say she loves him in this plan, but it's the most likely explanation I can come up with, especially given Felicity is back home next episode.

That, or Ra's is a big softie and ships the Olicity, and this whole thing was a way to get Oliver and Felicity to leave Laurel and Ray behind and so Oliver could drop the "We can't be together because hero things" crap, and they can finally be together. Aw. That's a dedicated shipper right there.

    ReplyDelete
  132. Quite possible Ur right. We'll have to wait and see.

    ReplyDelete
  133. I'd agree, but right after Flash vs. Arrow Guggenheim revealed he reversed his position. Grounded's been gone since mirakuru.

    ReplyDelete
  134. I agree with your sentiments, I think people are overreacting over the introduction of the lazarus pit. I'm also thinking the pit will be a one off thing.

    ReplyDelete
  135. he's pulling a reverse King George from Once Upon a Time

    ReplyDelete
  136. Is Thea dead or not?!!!!!
It seems I'm the only one who doesn't like that Ra's is playing Cupid! It's really bothering me that Ra's is the one to convince Felicity to be open about her feelings and she listened to him!! It's not sitting well with me. The first thing that came to my mind was "scr** you Ra's". Also it feels like he's being the Olicity (insert a profession I'm not comfortable saying). When did villains become shippers? And how dare you even talk about them or their love when you're the reason they are leaving each other! It's like when Malcolm says he loves Thea!

    ReplyDelete
  137. Because he is speaking from his experience and is waiting for Oliver to step up so he can marry his lady love.

    ReplyDelete
  138. It's still bothering me!!! He's their puppet master telling everyone what to do! And it's bothering me more that she listened to him! Like really? It takes freaking Ra's Al Ghul for you to admit your feelings? I feel like that love confession is tainted.

    ReplyDelete
  139. I am guessing the set up was that Felicity goes to confront RAG and he brings up the issue. Probably the same he did with Oliver. Felicity looked pissed at a moment. Here she just looks sad.

    ReplyDelete
  140. Plot twist:

Ras caught Malcolm before season 3 happened. Malcolm negociates with Ras and talked about Oliver, a guy who spent 5 years in an island. They both planned everything so that Oliver would become the new Ras.
So Ras was the one who orchestrated Sarah's death.

    ReplyDelete
  141. Seeing Ra's telling Felicity to tell Oliver she loves him just made me want to slam my head into my desk repeatedly. Talk about contrived...

    ReplyDelete
  142. FFS Arrow having Ra's tell Felicity to tell Oliver she loves him. So stupid.

    ReplyDelete
  143. I'm sure it's not only because of Ra's when Oliver and Felicity finally do the deed. Felicity's mom said she loves him, I'm guessing Ray will say the same when he breaks up with her. It's just so easy to see for everyone. And Ra's is a smart man, he's using Felicity to help Oliver accept his new role.

    ReplyDelete
  144. I didn't like it when he said it to Oliver either. Why does everyone and their neighbours have to tell them that they love each other and yet she never tells him and when she finally does it's because Ra's told her to? SERIOUSLY?!

    ReplyDelete
  145. Can I borrow the desk when you're finished? I mean I knew it was going to be a goodbye episode and that she'll tell him that she loves him because she thinks she's losing him but Ra's being the one to push her to do it! Just UGH!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  146. Well, besides that is it just so obvious, I think Ra's is just trying to make Oliver feel good about his new situation. This cleary happens in Nanda Parbat, so they already have a deal, meaning there's no more convincing to do on Ra's part.

    ReplyDelete
  147. Well her lipstick seems to be not very existant in her talk with RAG. Maybe this is after the love confession.

    ReplyDelete
  148. I know that there are several factors contributing to that confession but Ra's being one of them is just NO! Yes everyone can see that they love each other but I want them to talk to each other about it! instead we spent an entire season of people telling Felicity that she loves Oliver!
So he's manipulating them like Malcolm and once again they are falling for it?

    ReplyDelete
  149. I'm just happy it will happen, don't really care why :)

    ReplyDelete
  150. I hope so. Can you imagine how Oliver would feel if he knew she told him she loves him because Ra's told her to?

    ReplyDelete
  151. Good for you. Keep up the positive attitude.

    ReplyDelete
  152. Not quite sure how I feel about Ra's prompting Felicity to reveal her feelings to Oliver. I had hoped she would have come to that conclusion on her own and not with the Demon's Head forcing the issue.

Although the soft part of me want to go awww....Ra's is playing Cupid! How sweet ;)

    ReplyDelete
  153. If I had to make a guess, I'd say the conversation with Ra's happens after O and F have sex. She'll go to him and tell him that he'll never change who Oliver is or somehow try to get him out of the deal, and Ra's will tell her to go to him, say goodbye and tell him how much she loves him because she's never going to see him again or isn't going to recognize who he is the next time he does. I think that line from Ra's isn't him being some kind or relationship counselor as much as it is the first half of a threat that we didn't get to see the rest of.

    ReplyDelete
  154. Sure thing. I don't like Olicity but I was prepared to cope with them having sex this episode as long as it felt natural. This is the complete opposite of natural. The guy's the most dangerous man on the planet not a love doctor. They could not have done anything worse.

    ReplyDelete
  155. That would make feel a lot better. I hope you're right.

    ReplyDelete
  156. I'll try to remain objective and wait to see how this plays out, maybe it's just an editing trick and both scenes are not connected that way.

    ReplyDelete
  157. Yeah, I'm trying to remain objective but it's tricky. Potential that this episode will undo all the good work that the last two have done.

    ReplyDelete
  158. he says that to her because after he became a member of the LOA his future is prety uncertain

    ReplyDelete
  159. Yeah, she does, and every time she gets back up and somehow pushes through. Even her reaction to Oliver once he told her that he was the Arrow was a great development for her, because it was exactly the reaction I always imagined from her when she found out. Shocked, but grateful and understanding, and getting rid of that problem about the lies, because that explained a lot for her.

She should be stronger than this, and I really hope they actually do that instead of having the Pit change her, especially longer than temporary and throwing the comic-book rulebook out of the window or something.

If there was EVER a freaking point for the writers to show that around the end of season two, Ollie's words to Thea about her heart being the purest of all of them, wasn't just some bullshit line in the preparation for Felicity or whatever. I'm sorry, I don't have a problem with her, but it annoys me to hell that the episode where Thea is basically dead and everything, is the same episode they think it's cool and super normal to have Olicity f*ck each other...

I swear, I really hope they actually do show her that she's still really strong, that she can overcome whatever "soulchangin" stuff is going to happen to her, and that the line I just talked about, actually comes into play and shows how that part of her cannot be changed.

Oh, I just have to get one other thing off my chest and it could just be me, but... Malcolm again starts acting this next5 episode like he cares, like he's actually her father, which he's NOT, especially compared to the dead memory of Robert, he's never going to be her father. But has anyone thought about the fact that Malcolm had basically nothing left to fear, except the dangers he brought up multiple times to Oliver, for Thea's life? But was he watching her? Was he there to intervene? To try and protect her at least? NO! Which again proves he doesn't care two rat's asses about her, or he would have been there. he's been watching everyone so much and all the time, but his daughter that he supposedly cares about so much and he somehow knew was in danger, he didn't watch over? he was no where to be found? So yeah, the more I think about that, the more it wouldn't surprise me if somehow, Ra's and Malcolm were planning something together after all or something, and this entire season I have been right about Malcolm only caring about himself, and Thea just like Oliver only being a chess-piece for him.

    ReplyDelete
  160. I think that she going with him to Nanda Parbat is because she made up her mind about the matter.
She will confront Ra's to leave him alone and he will shut her down, saying that he will join the league and that if she wants to tell her how she feels, she has one last chance.
He isn't playing Cupid, he's telling her "do it now because tomorrow i will take everything from you".

    ReplyDelete
  161. Where's the press release for "This Is Your Sword"?

    ReplyDelete
  162. I don't get why people are talking about "Ra's playing Cupid". To me he sounded like a jackass, braging that the next day he will take everything from her... so she has one last night.
She surely will go to him to try to talk him out of it, poor naive girl and he will laugh in her face xD

I don't see the Cupid there, just a man with the upper hand, gloating and admiring how miserable the people who loves Oliver are...

    ReplyDelete
  163. Why is people talking like he's playing Cupid? To me it looked like he was being a jackass, telling her that no matter what she says to him, he will still take everything from her".

    ReplyDelete
  164. Exactly! Thanks! To me it sounded like a jackass being a dick to a girl who is trying to talk him out of destroying the sould of the man she loves.
I think this is before they have sex. She tries to talk Ra's out of using Oliver and he laughs in her face telling that this is it for them and if she wants to do something she has 1 last night... To me that's not playing cupid but being a sarcastic jackass.

    ReplyDelete
  165. I agree. Whatever order these events happen in, Ra's is being a straight-up dick to her. I'm sure whatever he tells her after that line is cruel.

    ReplyDelete
  166. Well I guess the Asia promo cleared up the order in which things go down. So there you go. One last team road trip.

    ReplyDelete
  167. Off opic"

I wonder if Ra's makes Felicity see Oliver but it's actually them doing the deed instead.

"Is there any hope of stopping Oliver from becoming the new Ra’s al Ghul on Arrow? — Cameron
We’ve seen him suited up in the League of Assassins garb in promos, so it’s not looking good. Suffice it to say, Team Arrow will not be happy with this decision. In fact, the logline for next week’s episode mentions that Felicity will take matters into her own hands. While that could simply explain the Olicity hookup that’s been teased in the promos, I wonder whether Oliver’s go-to IT gal might make a play to go after Ra’s herself while in Nanda Parbat. When I asked executive producer Marc Guggenheim if my theory could prove true, he simply replied: “There is a scene between Felicity and Ra’s that is one of my favorites of the series.” Make of that what you will."

    ReplyDelete
  168. my only hope, and its slim, is that Felicity went, and meet with Ra's, just so she could get a sample of the pit to figure out what it is and how to destroy it.

    ReplyDelete
  169. I LOVE MASEO. He's fantastic!!!

    ReplyDelete
  170. Ra's would kill her before she got close. And there are many of them.

    ReplyDelete
  171. I'm aware, but in this universe there is no indication of there being more then one.

    ReplyDelete
  172. True, but I doubt Felicity could get anywhere near the pit.

    ReplyDelete
  173. Toys? The grandchild of the Demon's Head doesn't get toy versions.

    ReplyDelete
  174. Huge deal in the comics. That's the whole reason Damian Wayne exists.

    ReplyDelete
  175. Wait whut? Nyssa is also gay in the comics? OR are U teasing me?

    ReplyDelete
  176. No Bruce and Talia had sex thus creating Damian Wayne.

    ReplyDelete
  177. right, but this show is not known for its logic and follow through and they sure do love their contrivances.

    ReplyDelete
  178. True. Baby sized custom made swords. So cute!!!

    ReplyDelete
  179. We were simply joking Nick. We know the scene would be extremely serious, Felicity is devastated and Ra's is shattering all her dreams. It was too good an opportunity to not have some fun.

    ReplyDelete
  180. I know about Damien. But was/is Nyssa gay in the comics? Did Ra's shut her out as well?

    ReplyDelete
  181. Am I the only person who is not bothered by Felicity not saying ILY to Oliver? Cmon. Felicicty knows Oliver loves Her. Oliver knows Felicity loves him and the moment he shows her a sign of willingness she will leave everything behind to be with him. So it doesn't matter who prompts her to reveal the feelings. Its not like she is realizing the truth after Ra's tells her. She already knows. All jokes of cupid and love doctor aside it is a very sad scene.

    ReplyDelete
  182. I'm fine with her not saying it. What's the point of saying it if he's not ready to be with her? Everyone knows that she loves him but I'm tired of people telling her and her denying it.

    ReplyDelete
  183. I persumed she was cause of Ur primary statement of introducing DW and a possible Olicity baby would be the equivalent to him. And that in both TV show and comics Nyssa was screwed over.

    ReplyDelete
  184. Ra's' dream:
Ra's; I just want you to be happy. If Felicity makes you happy, she should tell you how she feels.
Oliver: You are always saying you just want me to be happy, but you know what? As long as you are in my life, I am happy.
Ra's: Then, you will be my heir?
    Oliver: Of course.

What a step back from the actual menace of toying with and killing Thea. Oh Ra's you big stalker you.

    ReplyDelete
  185. SIDE NOTE: I HATE THOSE ADVERTISEMENTS!! IM SICK OF HEARING WHAT YOUR FANTA TASTES LIKE!

    ReplyDelete
  186. But what a freaking episode!! like what did I just watch?? someone please.. i cant freaking wait for the next episode! and i hope olicity thing isnt something thats controlled by Ra's..
