NO CAITY LOTZ?! IT'S RIOT TIME, PEOPLE!
ReplyDeletewere we all hoping for a pit resurrection?
ReplyDeleteNo not really.
ReplyDeleteyeah, I didn't think it was coming either.
ReplyDeleteInteresting teasea. Looking forward to the Laulicity scene.
ReplyDeleteWill die till I watch this. My break starts today.
Maseo and Diggle? Awesome.
ReplyDeleteAnd the one thing this show has always had going for it is the Oliver/Diggle friendship. always. Even when they are offside with each other, it dosnt take much to get back onside.
Considering the spin-off is only going to start at early 2016, if Caity does return to Arrow, we might not see Sara again until mid season four.
ReplyDeleteyes
ReplyDeleteNO DON'T DESTROY THEA'S SOUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat if... Ra's is Felicity's father. That would be a huge twist!
ReplyDeleteI think the season finale, but I don't get the Canary frame on the promo, even Caity Lotz comment on that, maybe they've cut.
ReplyDeleteAnother Laurel + Felicity scene !!!!!!!!!!! And people still fight over Olicity/Lauriver while we have this two precious things.
ReplyDeletethere definitely needs to be more female teaming up/bonding in this show. can only take so much sausage.
ReplyDeletethink this will probably be the only time I comment on this coming ep. seeing the shit storm coming a mile away and my umbrella is broke.
ReplyDeleteI know one person in my life who will love this ep, I'm just looking forward to seeing Thea goes batshit and flies like a monkey.
and Dig.
That's why I'm mad. She was in the damn promo.
ReplyDeleteWhat? It's happening. She was in the promo. She's in the spin-off. I think they cut the scene she was in.
ReplyDeleteI was hoping for a different kind of revival but they're clearly using the Pit.
yes, the pit is used, no its not for Sara or about her. No, she won't be in the episode.
ReplyDeleteit will be great if thea gets resurrected(evil thea anyone) and only to be killed by her own brother in the season finale.no one can top THAT. lets see writers have the gut.
ReplyDeleteWhy would Felicity throw herself into the pit? Weird "spoiler". I'm mostly looking forward to the Felicity/Ra's scene. Curious about the Felicity/Laurel scene, didn't think Laurel would be relevant in this episode. Maybe at the end, regarding Sara?
ReplyDeleteI would like that. Not that I dislike Thea, but it would just be totally epic.
ReplyDeletewould be a hell of a twist. but I don't see them putting their sack on the table like that.
ReplyDeleteall I want to have beside me is a bucket
ReplyDeleteLaurel is always relevant ;-) :-P
ReplyDeleteShould be quite the episode, hope they don't disappoint.
I never read the advance preview, I'm not gonna start now. Just one more day. I can do this. I can do this. I just need a webclip today and I'm good.
ReplyDeleteDo you want me to copy all the spoilers here? ahhahahahah!
ReplyDeleteI'm on a study break again after tonight till next Tuesday afternoon, maybe Wednesday. I need as much as stuff as I can get.
I didn't read a damn thing. I didn't even read the comments below me. I made my comment and dipped out this thread. Lol I'm good. I don't want to read teasers, I don't want to read shit. I just need a webclip to help my fix. Idc what it is. (Actually I'm hoping our first clip is Oliver finding Thea and taking her to the hospital like in the promo).
ReplyDeleteI seriously think you should stay off the site. Lol The more you read, the less you'll study. I went through a helluva phase the other night, b/c I couldn't think of anything else but Arrow. I was watching one of my favorite childhood movies, and couldn't concentrate, thinking about Arrow. I was watching Buffy, paused that for about 2 Hrs, thinking about Arrow. I looked at pictures, made theories, upon theories, read articles, watched Olicity, David, Team Arrow, and Arrow cast videos. Just thinking of this episode alone. I just couldn't sleep b/c my mind was racing, just aching for this f*cking episode. And i've had three Arrow dreams in a row this week. My last one...Thea trying to take down Malcolm once and for all. It was awesome. Lol
You can write all you want she's not gonna read anything. Seriously you can write the word spoiler and write ANYTHING after it and be sure she won't read. If you ever feel the need to get a secret off your chest but don't want anyone to find out just write "spoiler" and say anything lol
ReplyDeleteReally do not like these advence preivews....
ReplyDeletehahahahahahahahaha
ReplyDeleteThere's a decent chance I may not survive this episode. Either from heartbreak or dehydration or both lol
I'm the complete opposite. I read spoilers but stay away from watching clips or reading comic previews. There's a difference between knowing something and actually seeing it. But for the last 3 episodes I don't want to read or see anything.
ReplyDeleteThe shows are interrupting just this exam week. The next one is the week after the upfronts (so only Flash) I just need to survive this and I'm fine.
ReplyDeleteI'm currently in my VD phase over thinking everything, so I completely understand U. This shows will take the out best off us.
I know was just kidding. How are you after reading all of this?
ReplyDeleteNo you don't get it. I sent her a link to the post MG wrote about the fern and I had to swear that it's not a spoiler for her to read it lol
ReplyDeleteHow am I? I'm freaking out/fangirling/nervous/worried/excited. Last night I had a dream about Dig and Felicity returning to Starling alone without Oliver and dealing with everything. I can't stop thinking about the episode. I have soooo many questions and theories. Why isn't it Wednesday? UGH
"Word that best describes Felicity and Ra’s scene: confrontational — though Ra’s shows respect for her.".....this is so dumb.
ReplyDeleteRa's wouldn't do such things. They're all very much beneath him. He wouldn't give a second to thought to what is essentially a tech support concubine.
I already had one foot out the door. No wonder Marvel is kicking DC's ass all over the place. They're doing it right and DC just isn't. Such a shame really.
I barely dream stuff not to mention I don't remember when I do.
ReplyDeleteThis episode will be so huge. Can't wait to see how stuff will resolve.
I have a feeling/hoping that Oliver and or TA have a plan to get Oliver out. That he'll pretend to join the league but he's working on something.
ReplyDeleteCorrection, exam week is interrupting your shows. = )
ReplyDeleteAh. I was in VD mode last week. This week Arrow. (It varies often between the two) Take out the best of us? No no, it'll be the death of us. Ugh. I'm going back to sleep. I've been up a couple hrs now and I got about 3 Hrs sleep. Hopefully when I wake up there's a webclip.
Thumbs up.
ReplyDeleteI've got that feeling as well. Really intrigued to see how they will get out of all this mess.
ReplyDeleteI'm more interested in seeing Laurel's reaction to what happened to Thea. I always liked their sisterly bond.
ReplyDeleteI assume the Producer preview will be up today.
ReplyDeleteSleep well, til later ;-) .
I don't think we will. Today will be all about the Flash.
ReplyDelete*internal screaming*
ReplyDeleteAre you ready for your new job?
ReplyDeleteYES! MORE LAUREL! This is the only good things that makes me wanna watch this episode.
ReplyDeleteThat will be interesting as well. Laurel and Thea shared some really great scenes in S01 and that scene this season at the graveyard was so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI know the Pit is going to be used to revive Thea. Sara was in the promo though so I thought we would see her revival as well.
ReplyDeleteNot now. I'm trying to go back to sleep. Cranky.
ReplyDeleteFlash won't be enough. Arrow always makes a cameo. And I'm less thrilled about Flash right now b/c it might not air for me tonight.
ReplyDeleteIs she? I feel like they're trying to make her important, but kind of - totally - failed.
ReplyDeleteIt felt forced for the sake of the plot, the dialogue was incoherent and Willa and Katie were weird; there was something off about them. The whole scene was uncomfortable to watch.
ReplyDeleteReally? Ra's al Ghul is going to be in the episode and you're excited about Laurel?
ReplyDeleteas far as TV shows and video games go, DC kicks Marvel's ass. Just in the movie department Marvel is superior.
ReplyDeleteIt's not just that she was a lousy fighter at firstwhen becoming the black canary (she did well in the last fight against some assassin). She just doesn't really bring anything to the show or the team. Of which she still isn't a full member (or that's at least my impression).
ReplyDeleteThe timing was forced, If it happened earlier it would be much more honest and easier to "digest". I felt the acting was fine and it was a well needed scene.
ReplyDeleteBut as U said I'm happy to agree to disagree.
I love her so why not? ;)
ReplyDeleteI like Ra's al Ghul but I'm not excited about Ra's/Felicity scene. I kinda hate Felicity so the fact that her name is in 60% of sentences above makes me wanna skip the episode. I know that I'm gonna be eaten alive right now because there is so many Olicity shippers here but it won't change the fact how I feel about her character.
I'm a Katie fan and I like Laurel. I would say she really didn't bring anything to the show in S02 only useless drama, but I liked her part in S01 even though she was mostly the damsel in distress.
ReplyDeleteIn S03 she found her groove back and pushed herself and other characters in different direction. It is far from having major impact but if they do some solid writing we can get there.
Well Laurel makes an appearance on a Flash this week. So you can check more LL there.
ReplyDeleteI might agree with you regarding the DC animated movies: they are good. But TV, no. Daredevil has shown us that good comic book TV is possible when you have well laid out, faithful to source material plots that doesn't pander to lonely hearts.
ReplyDeleteI know I'm so happy about that.
ReplyDeleteI stand by what I wrote, which was not at all about animated movies. But speaking of movies, I totally forgot about the dark knight trilogy (shame on me). Guess DC wins there too.
ReplyDeleteSo, Wednesday yet?
ReplyDelete"– There are no scenes with Caity Lotz as Black Canary in this episode."..
ReplyDeleteSo.. Does that mean that she appears, but not as Black canary?
Just send my fave Laurel Lance over to the Flash ,no need for her in the Arrow. Thanks
ReplyDeleteI'm dying for him to have a plan! Is it too much to hope for?
ReplyDeleteNo. I truly believe that he has one.
ReplyDeleteThe wait this week has been intensely torturous! This is going to be amazing. I'm so excited for this episode! To see the Ra's/Felicity scene, any Oliver/Diggle bromancing moments are my favorite, and I am VERY much excited to see Diggle and Maseo's interaction. I just hope this episode doesn't end with Maseo's death.
ReplyDeleteI don't think Catering to the "Lonely hearts" is as much a DC Thing as it is a CW Thing ;)
ReplyDeleteOf course, let's take away the only family Oliver has left, so that the show can FULLY and UTTERLY only focus on damn Olicity... Again, Thea is basically dead, and 75 percent of these damn spoilers and teasers are about Olicity >:.< I've never had that big of a problem with the ships of this show, really, but having this in the ep with Thea's life on the line, and constantly spoiling more how Thea is just gone and probably who fucking knows what... Is really cheap, it's like seriously the cheapest thing this show has ever done, bascially show how this stupid love thing between Olicity is like a trillion times more important for them than our hero's freaking sister!
ReplyDeleteBut you guys that are just sadists and stuff and apparently don't see the potential in Thea's character as Speedy, especially with Roy now pretty much gone, you're probably gonna get your wish. She probably isn't going to be Thea anymore, probably is going to suddenly be evil and the entire goals of this season, thrown out the window and being worth NOTHING.
But I'm going to be so done with this show, SO done with it if Thea is actually completely not who wre know anymore. If they just ignore the comics rules and make it lasting the effects of the pit. People keep saying that it's probably temporary anyway, but these bastards are definitely making sure that it sounds anything but that way.
And then you guys want her to go evil and killed by Oliver? Sure, any other great ideas of completely freaking ruining the show even more?
The more and more they spoil about it, the more and more obvious it is that they are going to do exactly that. I mean, isn't it REALLY extremely obvious with this load of information how EVERYTHING Felicity related is ten-thousands of times more important than anyone or anything else on the show?
ReplyDeleteI still don't understand why they show the Canary in the promo, if it's not in the freaking episode, that shows what an unfair sadistic bastards they're staring to become...
ReplyDeleteAnd this with Thea, it's the biggest mistake they're just gonna fully embrace and continue huh? Nothing temoorary, nothing about her soul being the same, no just how the Thea we knew is gone and everything, so gain, making this entire season have been POINTLESS!
And seriously producers, thank you, thank you so much for starting to show the last few episodes and especially with this one, how everything Felicity and Olicity related is more important than anyone or anything on this show. Even more than Oliver's sister thus probably losing her soul and never being the same huh?
I'm really fearing more and more that this show is officially going to be ruined to it's core from the next episode, even if they think it's going to be the most epic thing ever, with all this focus just on Olicity and having drama for freaking drama's sake, and showing again and again how Thea's character is just background filling... I'm starting to lose hope for this show. I'm triyng really hard not to, but again, with 80 percent of these spoilers and teasers being about Felicity and Olicity, and only like... What? ONE being about Thea? Which is again one that throws temporary pretty much out of the window...
So Ray becomes even cooler by breaking it off with Felicity and still letting her go away in his jet. Ray's playa status continues to rise throughout this season.
ReplyDelete"– Felicity has a surprise for Oliver."
Yah she does! Bow-chicka-wow-wow
Its without a doubt a CW thing which at the moment by and large is the primary mechanism to get DC characters onto the small screen. DC's lack of confidence with CW explains why they are taking some characters away (Deadshot for example), but they're not completely off the hook. Gotham is on FOX and Bruce and Selina's interactions are completely screwed up. The pandering is mostly coming from CW I agree but DC's own editorial group is doing little to reign in some stupid decisions.
ReplyDelete"Felicity's not throwing herself into the pit", of course not it would kill her.
ReplyDeleteDude it's not permenant. Unless Thea was injured or near-death about a hundred times and dipped in again and again she'll be fine.
ReplyDeleteOh God no.
ReplyDeleteSweet Barry's coming back.
ReplyDeleteI'm cool never been that high on my list.
ReplyDeleteI do really want those two to become better friends.
ReplyDeleteShannon you'll like these ones a lot.
ReplyDeleteAgreed. Lol we TV people do not get sleep.
ReplyDeleteDude just wait for the episode before the freak out over Thea's importance to Oliver.
ReplyDeleteWhat is this sleep you speak of? lol
ReplyDeleteWell she's never actually been Black Canary.
ReplyDeleteMan, you guys really lack any kind of vengeful drive. Slade would be so disappointed,
ReplyDeleteAh no. Ra's isn't a douchebag in that sense. If Oliver (his heir) deems her important, then he will treat her respectfully. But nice calling Felicity a whore.
ReplyDeleteThey say it's like being dead, but you're still alive.
ReplyDeleteHe'd also be disappointed I don't to talk a hallucination of the woman I love.
ReplyDeleteI'm good. I promise. I can hold out til tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteOhhh yeah. Okay.
ReplyDeleteBoob windows and all. But Graydon if you're the comic book guy you say you are then you'll know that Ra's Al Ghul is EXACTLY that kind of douchebag.
ReplyDeleteIf Slade is disappointed then I am happy.
ReplyDeleteHe's a sexist affably evil douchebag. He's giving Felicity respect as Oliver's love not saying she's equal to him or man. That is right up his league. Since Oliver is treated like how Bruce is by Ra's (without the heir child thing and the detective part). And dude they've appeared to have tone downed his sexism.
ReplyDeleteThat doesn't make Felicity a concubine. She's not a mistress or some cheap floozy. Might as well call Power Girl one (though hers was for distraction and lack of an actual symbol).
ReplyDeleteGo read your history books again because concubines were neither cheap nor were they floozies, but Felicity would be tantamount to a mistress in Ra's eyes given that she wouldn't be coming with him. So this whole 'go to him' nonsense is wickedly out of character for Ra's because he wouldn't give a shit.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I would like Sara back but I don't think it is going to happen in this ep, maybe by the finale?
ReplyDeleteIt has nothing to do with romance, the idea, it has to do with the origin and evolution of GA. In the original comics his whole family was dead (no sister) and he was on an island for 5 years, when he came back he had no one.
ReplyDeleteSo in that regard I would not care about his sister, which they kind of made up for the show, to die.
And its not that she means nothing or that the goals were pointless it shows how people try their best and fail. not everything works out the way we want it to, or force our will to. thus the point, Oliver, (who is the main character of the show) was trying to force his will on, basically, the universe. He wanted to control everything, including his sister/situation, and in the end it winds up controlling him. Its a lesson, and a hard one, to learn which is kind of the point. We are suppose to learn from mistakes, however shitty that may sound, and well it is a show about him and not his sister.
Anyways, it was just a fun idea, something outrageous and unexpected.
Also, this is is about a take on OQ origin to becoming the GA a guy who is different from S1/S2 he is a smart ass, opinionated, loud, brash etc... and in order to get that state, to be GA, he and the show have to change, like it or not.
Stupid comment. This little idea has absolutely nothing to do with Olicity. And there is no denying it would be epic, wether you would like it or not. And it certainly would not ruin the show.
ReplyDelete^^ probably not that. or not only that.
ReplyDeleteDude I'm a history major so don't just don't. I'm aware they're not cheap, but she's not some mistress. You'd have a point, except Ra's can use Felicity to sire Ra's an heir to Oliver and ensure his dynasty. Which is a huge part of Ra's character.
ReplyDeleteThat's great. Best of luck in completing your degree: degrees I've already completed in political theory and philosophy. But that's not the point. About siring an heir, I don't know if I'd go so far to say that was Ra's intention. I somehow don't see that it was. No, Ra's has been softened and changed in uncharacteristic ways to justify a deliberate scenario. A scenario that has Felicity falling into Oliver's bed. Oliver and Felicity sleeping together was a foregone conclusion. Its an obvious payoff to satisfy a particular fan base. Its not real story telling. It's coins tossed to peasants on the street. Ra's al Ghul, the Demon himself. Batman's arch nemisis is playing Cupid. That makes him little more than a pimp.
ReplyDeleteRight so you have two degrees (only one of which is useful, but nice bragging job) good to know. That's still story telling, and it's a payoff it was going to happen no matter what and it works with Ra's character. Look I don't care for you or this conversation so I'm done, if you're done watching Arrow after this great. I repeat don't let the door hit you on your way out.
ReplyDelete
