let's hope that what happens isn't too spoilery o.O (not that I'm a fan of Coltons acting but I like the guy and enjoy Roy, a lot more than I ever did)
And I doubt that the government paid enough to adequately repair the prison after the damage done by Malcolm's earthquake machine and all the subsequent breakouts they tried to cover up. That place must really be a mess.
President Schwarzenegger sure did his best to ensure the safety of Iron Heights, however his best is usually only 1% (wouldn't it be awesome if the guy actually was president in the DCU...I mean...."I was elected to lead, not to read, numbah threeeeee" :P)
Did someone call Ray Tin man?? I am side eying you meta human!!! Poor Roy. Now I am sure he won't die. Why do I have this feeling Malcolm is still playing some big game here.
You got me there. This entire genre is built on the idea of an incompetent justice system. If the cops, the courts, and the prisons all did their jobs there would be no masked weirdos.
Henry got beat down with hands. Lance got punched really hard in the kidney from a Mirakuru powered soldier who then had to have what seems to be surgery and could have died. Roy appears to be stabbed by a knife which is way more worse than just a makeshift shiv.
I'm thinking Roy and Thea both get hurt but Thea dies. I kind of think Roy is going to die too, but I'm really hoping thats not the case :( Probably Ra's will take out Thea and an angry inmate that Team Arrow put away will take out Roy. If I was writing the show, I would have Roy badly injured and taken to the hospital, then Thea is mortally wounded and taken to the hospital around the same time. Then they get to be together, maybe wheeled into the same ER, as she dies. Big emotional scene like they all tweeted about. And It could explain why he's too hurt to go to the pit with the team, because I'm sure she is not staying dead.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeleteNOOO ROOOOOOOY!!
ReplyDeleteI still think Thea is the one who's going to die though.
So Roy gets stabbed with an actual knife. Not a shiv but an actual smuggled-in knife. Damn. Security at Iron Heights prison really sucks.
ReplyDeleteI think they both die, but Thea takes a dip in the Pit.
ReplyDeleteIt possible that the guard are just as corrupt as the prisoners.... and let the incident happen
ReplyDeletebad feeling about Roy, maybe he will end in a coma and not actually die yet.
ReplyDeleteRoy gets stabbed......now I don't think he dies. But he could be beaten up so bad that he's put into a coma.
ReplyDeleteSecurity at Iron Heights always sucked.
ReplyDeleteWhether the guards let the knife in or it was smuggled it still means that security at that prison is horrible.
ReplyDeleteI agree. This is just the latest example of that fact.
ReplyDeletegives Malcolms "no prison can hold us" comment more credibility if this is the only prison the DCU seems to use on TV
ReplyDeleteAnd I doubt that the government paid enough to adequately repair the prison after the damage done by Malcolm's earthquake machine and all the subsequent breakouts they tried to cover up. That place must really be a mess.
ReplyDeleteYep let not forget both Quentin and henry Allen both got injury ythere so I doubt Roy "dies"
ReplyDeleteRoy won't die he got hurt just like Lance and Henry Allen
ReplyDeletePresident Schwarzenegger sure did his best to ensure the safety of Iron Heights, however his best is usually only 1% (wouldn't it be awesome if the guy actually was president in the DCU...I mean...."I was elected to lead, not to read, numbah threeeeee" :P)
ReplyDeletelast year also saw its big death by episode 19 (or was it 20?)
ReplyDeletemy gut feeling is that "thea" is gonna die by ra's snapping her neck.
ReplyDeletei vote for thea
ReplyDeleteAnd no one even guessed it was Moira. I'm sure it'll be someone we won't expect.
ReplyDeleteLinking Schwarzenegger to the DCU gives me horrible flashbacks of Mr. Freeze puns.
ReplyDelete"Itz teim to kuuuuuhllll doun" god....I need to rewatch some Schwarzenegger flicks now ^^
ReplyDeleteI'll save you some time:

Maybe no metahumans until you're out of beta testing, Ray.
ReplyDeleteDid someone call Ray Tin man?? I am side eying you meta human!!!
ReplyDeletePoor Roy. Now I am sure he won't die.
Why do I have this feeling Malcolm is still playing some big game here.
I get Robocop vibe from that Atom suit.
ReplyDeleteHey it's the DC universe (well one of 'em) shitty prisons are probably required by law.
ReplyDeleteWhy Bruce why?
ReplyDeleteYou got me there. This entire genre is built on the idea of an incompetent justice system. If the cops, the courts, and the prisons all did their jobs there would be no masked weirdos.

ReplyDeleteNever forget, Graydon. Never forget.
And where would the fun in that be?
ReplyDeleteOh God the ice puns, the Bat Credit Card, the Barbara Wilson. The horror, the horror. It must never again be done.
ReplyDeleteROY HARPER YOU BETTER NOT DIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeletebecause he's Malcolm Merlyn LOL
ReplyDeleteHenry got beat down with hands. Lance got punched really hard in the kidney from a Mirakuru powered soldier who then had to have what seems to be surgery and could have died. Roy appears to be stabbed by a knife which is way more worse than just a makeshift shiv.
ReplyDeleteWhy only her?
ReplyDeleteMaybe Merlyn wants Oliver to become the demon's head so that Nyssa won't. She still wants to go after him for Sara I think.
ReplyDeleteBecause I think they're killing Roy off. Not sure what the in-show reasoning would be. Maybe he does in prison? IDK.
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking Roy and Thea both get hurt but Thea dies.
