Wonder why Mack is with Lance after all the shit that went down between them. And Skye and Jemma look so badass ready to go to war! I love sneaky Jemma in that picture and Skye with her gloves (soon to be gauntlets) look awesome. God, I can't believe we are already at the final stretch of episodes! I'm so excited.
So in the space of 5 episodes or so he goes from " I hope you die (to Bobbi)" to laughing with them again? What the hell is happening in the next two episodes?
I love it, my sister has just figured out that she has to binge watch the episodes that she's behind on before this time next week when we are going to Ultron. Laughed my ass of at that.
Simmons looks scare. Skye in full quake mode lol. Surprised to see they are getting along nicely after all the drama. At least it's what the pic suggest.
looks like we won't get no sneak peak the rest of the season if i had to guess to much shit stiring up right now heck we didn't even get a promo this week
I'm doubtful that either Shield would be that willing/confident to let hwe, and I don't think Jemma would be tac gear for observations. More likely an Op
They usually release about twice as many photos. There must be some big stuff going down that they don't want to spoil.
If Hunter and Mack are together, (and getting along it seems) it looks like the two teams will be converging sooner than I expected, which I'm happy about. I thought we'd have to wait until the season finale for that.
And where the hell is the damn sneak peak lol its usually out by now. Theyve been letting us down past few days only showed 1/2 a second of next weeks ep in the promo too
AoS Facebook page posted a sneak peek (which apparently only people in the US can view). I found it so exciting I had to watch it a couple of times in a row ;)
Whatever Strucker may be up to, It probably involves the Inhumans. That's why Skye is back with the team. If Strucker and List are performing horrible experiments on gifted people, Jemma's skills and expertise as a field medic/doctor may be needed.
Cheer's I was hoping to see what exactly was going to happen to the handrier but that will do. I love how Hunter is trying to be anywhere else when Coulson tells Fitz. And I see Coulson is still trying to hide what he's been doing with Mike as well.
The press release for this episode says that the two SHIELDs are working together. Even so, Mack & Hunter getting along is a stretch to me. It's been what, a couple of weeks in show time since Mack choked him out, kept him chained to a sink and forcibly took him to that ship?
And build her the Quake suit from the comics! I wish we could see her suit up for the first time in the season finale, but I don't think it will happen so soon.
And since accordng to the EW hints Jemma at least tries to kill Ward I'm happy that the writers aren't completely insulting our intelligence, even as blunt as they are being.
I'm just here for it for the sheer fact that it's going to be angsty as hell and I love that, and I can't wait until Fitz or Skye stop her and more angst ensues.
Wonder what Skye, Simmons, Ward and Bakshi are up to. Their reactions to whatever they are staaring at through the glass are funny. We know Lincoln will be rescued but i hope they don't kill Mike!
I wish people would have more faith on the writers, they've shown time and again the ability to lay off important story elements as throwaway lines or moments only to pick them up later and add relevance to them. Case in point: Cal wanting to be reunited with his family in the Afterlife and Coulson ordering the Koenigs to activate Theta protocol if they didn't come back alive from the Kree Temple.
Okay, I'll start with the superficial and say that Ward should just walk around in tactical gear everyday, lol! The O6 together on a mission is heaven, and I can hardly wait to see what the heck goes down in the episode. Can it be Tuesday already? I wonder what they are looking at?
They have been as subtle as a baseball bat to the head with Ward's return to the team, and the orignial team together on a Quinnjet is equally as subtle (I'm just going to love the excuse as to why less resources are sent to deal with a Hydra head then to blow up a alien outpost (leaving alone the continued blank space of what other Shield has been doing), or why Gonzales lets Coulson go without sending at least Bobbi, wild guess they get refused and steal the jet just to increase the division between the two).
Coulson's Theta Protocol, not such a big deal, seen it, no reason for any of the Other Shield Storyline.
It's because the underlying theme of this half a season is family. It's visible in many of the threads in development so far: the SHIELD vs SHIELD conflict dividing Coulson's team, Skye's discovery of her Inhuman origins, meeting her mother and her slow path into accepting Cal in her heart and life. The original six, for all intents and purposes, were family, it's the very reason Ward's betrayal stings so deeply on them, so not having him being part of this dysfuncional family reunion wouldn't feel right. There may also be other reasons that are not yet clear to us, but there you go.
God Brett really IS a giant LOL, Ward and Skye next to each other is ALL i've wanted since season 1 finale!!!!! also Ward, Skye and Jemma look so badass together!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
in all honesty what do you think the Theta Protocol? which apparently we heard about it in the first half of the season with Coulson mentioning it to Koenig
And yet the writers aren't even trying, last week's episode, even if you give the "we need him" angle along with deals with devils, what agent anywhere gives a traitor whose killed fellow agents a gun and then turns his back to him? Seriously if director Coulson is that naive then he really shouldn't be director.
It's forced from start to finish. If you are to treat Shield as a credible entity that's trying to take down Hydra and keep the workd safe (instead of fanfiction families), then sending one Quinnjet with 2 non combatants (one brain damaged), 1 Gifted (who has control issues), 1 traitor (whose killed anyone he damn well wanted to), and a field agent and a Specialist is brain damagingly stupid. Either Other Shield has decided fighting Hydra isn't an issue or something (insert handwaving of choice), or it's just baseball bat stupid writing.
I loved it, to me beats Avengers 1 and Guardians, Winter Soldier is a personnel favourite so I'm torn. But I'm fairly sure you won't leave disapointed (don't sue me if you do ;)).
It's a bit strange if you've followed AoS and you know next week is the tie in and you've seen the Movie already but still...
yeah, cause all the people he's killed to get back to the team mean nothing, nor all the bodies that all those he released from the Fridge may have racked up mean anything.
So we're just ditich morality and consequences for actions now are we for Shipperness
So she does try to kill him? I think this is what's been placating me a little bit about Ward working with. I knew the team didn't forgive him, I just wanted to see that. They don't want him there and because of (stupid) plot reasons, they (specifically the writers) need him there. I can live with this as long Ward doesn't become a permanent fixture on the team after they finish the mission. They must get rid of him after this.
Of course not. She has a long way to go i just get excited to see her using her powers. They have been doing good job using her powers on the show so i look forward to that.
Killing Mike would be such a waste. Why you don't trust Lincoln? He did nothing but help and protect Skye so far. Just because you love the original 6 doesn't mean the outsiders are bad and untrusting people.
for lack of more information, Mike's cybernetics could have been able to regulate the energy that Lincoln was hitting him with, or maybe Lincoln not knowing what he was affected his ability to shock him?
Re The New batch: Seeing as it looks like Skye, Simmons, Bahksi and Ward are standing in front of a glass/plexiglass room/wall, I'm gonna guess, it's either Lincoln or Mike on the other side of that and Skye uses her power to get them through.
My guess is that they are dismantling the big Hydra base where powered people are being experienced on and they are also Mike and Lincoln in the process. That sort of Op could really see the Shield, the "real" Shield and the Inhumans working together.
Everyone has the right to an opinion, for me the entire 2B has had plot holes big enough to sail the SupperCarrier through and is asking us as views to accept handwaving on a grandscale to support the plot. That's my view of the quality of what the writers have produced an which has reduced my interest in the show to virtually zero. Rather than make up excuses like the Ward shippers, I just chose to stop caring about it.
She seems awfully calm though. To me it looks more like she's showing that she has control of her power than attacking someone with it. Showing she has control might be something she'd have to prove before they (SHIELD and more likely Olmost SHIELD) let her go on the operation.
Hmmm, you are right about that. I still don't think she's attacking anyone. Maybe she's quaking something to make a point?? I guess we'll find out tomorrow night.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Why are Skye and Jemma in tactical gear? And from a behind the scenes picture of Brett a few weeks ago, it looks like Ward will be too.
ReplyDeleteSHIT'S GOING DOWN AND I'M NOT READY.
This should be fun!Can't wait!
ReplyDeletewe haven't seen Jemma and Skye in tactical gear in a VERY long time. Is that Hunter with Mack, why the heck is he with him?!!!!
ReplyDeleteIs that Hunter that Mack is laughing with?
ReplyDeleteI REALLY want for the team to see Skye in full control and make Quakes.
ReplyDeleteLooks like it. You can tell because Lance is always wearing the same type of shirt haha.
ReplyDeleteI would guess Skye is about to use her Quake powers judging by the pose
ReplyDeleteWonder why Mack is with Lance after all the shit that went down between them. And Skye and Jemma look so badass ready to go to war! I love sneaky Jemma in that picture and Skye with her gloves (soon to be gauntlets) look awesome. God, I can't believe we are already at the final stretch of episodes! I'm so excited.
ReplyDeleteSo in the space of 5 episodes or so he goes from " I hope you die (to Bobbi)" to laughing with them again? What the hell is happening in the next two episodes?
ReplyDeleteYeah, it's pretty clear. No who she's about to Quake is the question.
ReplyDeleteSo an episode blurb, then promo photos but now Sneak Peak. Damn you ABC!
ReplyDeleteI really can't wait to find out.
ReplyDeleteI love it, my sister has just figured out that she has to binge watch the episodes that she's behind on before this time next week when we are going to Ultron. Laughed my ass of at that.
ReplyDeleteA lot apparently. Now if we could just get the damn sneak peek from ep 18. Damn, abc!
ReplyDeleteI thinking they are training. Skye using/learning her abilities and Simmons is watching.
ReplyDeleteSimmons and Skye look badass. #Skimmons
ReplyDeleteLooks good. I'm surprised Hunter and Mack seemed to be getting along.
ReplyDeleteSimmons looks scare. Skye in full quake mode lol. Surprised to see they are getting along nicely after all the drama. At least it's what the pic suggest.
ReplyDeletelooks like we won't get no sneak peak the rest of the season if i had to guess to much shit stiring up right now heck we didn't even get a promo this week
ReplyDeleteYeah you could be right there alright. With Europe getting it next week, and the US the week after they are going to have to walk a fine line.
ReplyDeleteI'm doubtful that either Shield would be that willing/confident to let hwe, and I don't think Jemma would be tac gear for observations. More likely an Op
ReplyDeleteThey usually release about twice as many photos. There must be some big stuff going down that they don't want to spoil.
ReplyDeleteIf Hunter and Mack are together, (and getting along it seems) it looks like the two teams will be converging sooner than I expected, which I'm happy about. I thought we'd have to wait until the season finale for that.
yeah, I made a comment like that a few episodes back. You can see the issues they are having, particularly say for Hill returning as well.
ReplyDeleteforget everyone. I just want hunter coulson fitz Simmons may and skye as a team!
ReplyDeleteAnd where the hell is the damn sneak peak lol its usually out by now. Theyve been letting us down past few days only showed 1/2 a second of next weeks ep in the promo too
ReplyDeleteThe sneak peak is up, it's the bathroom.
ReplyDeleteIt's up on ABC's site now, but it's region locked to the US
ReplyDeleteThat would be epic. I want the team to see Skye in control, I really want to see Fitz and Simmons learn about what she can do.
ReplyDeleteI know: ( im in england. Someone post it here please??!!!
ReplyDeleteYeah I'm in Ireland (nice that we got it live before the UK😜.Hoping Klutzy comes through for us (no pressure)
ReplyDeleteSimmon suited up?. Hunter and Mack?. WHAT IS GOING ON!
ReplyDeleteAoS Facebook page posted a sneak peek (which apparently only people in the US can view). I found it so exciting I had to watch it a couple of times in a row ;)
ReplyDeleteWhatever Strucker may be up to, It probably involves the Inhumans. That's why Skye is back with the team. If Strucker and List are performing horrible experiments on gifted people, Jemma's skills and expertise as a field medic/doctor may be needed.
ReplyDeleteIts on youtube mate. On the official marvel entertainment channel
ReplyDeleteCheer's I was hoping to see what exactly was going to happen to the handrier but that will do. I love how Hunter is trying to be anywhere else when Coulson tells Fitz. And I see Coulson is still trying to hide what he's been doing with Mike as well.
ReplyDeleteMy guess is it is a flashback, Its been established that Hunter has know Mack as long as he has known Bobbi
ReplyDeleteJemma listening to the doors (probably for Coulson) and it definitely look like Skye is with her.
ReplyDeleteOr maybe he doesn't want them to play catch up just yet, priorities and all.
ReplyDelete- Pretty small set, are they being careful for spoilers again?
ReplyDelete- Yay, Skye using her powers (with the gloves).
- Is that last picture a flashback? Simmons' hair seems long again.
The press release for this episode says that the two SHIELDs are working together. Even so, Mack & Hunter getting along is a stretch to me. It's been what, a couple of weeks in show time since Mack choked him out, kept him chained to a sink and forcibly took him to that ship?
ReplyDeleteAnd build her the Quake suit from the comics! I wish we could see her suit up for the first time in the season finale, but I don't think it will happen so soon.
ReplyDeleteLet's hope they aren't trying to desensitize the audience so that we'll eventually be cool with the same thing happening with Ward.
ReplyDeleteThese have been very carefully selected as to not reveal anything...
ReplyDeleteWhat is up with Bakshi? This is so weird.
ReplyDeleteBUT THAT DOESN'T MATTER BECAUSE HALF THE TEAM WORKING TOGETHER. I'M FINE.
Skye and Simmons standing next to each other in the mission is everyhting!!! aaahh bless
ReplyDeleteAnd since accordng to the EW hints Jemma at least tries to kill Ward I'm happy that the writers aren't completely insulting our intelligence, even as blunt as they are being.
ReplyDeleteSo I guess Bakshi might really be brainwashed?
ReplyDeleteI'm just here for it for the sheer fact that it's going to be angsty as hell and I love that, and I can't wait until Fitz or Skye stop her and more angst ensues.
ReplyDeleteBut I still don't like that it's happening.
Yeah. What a downer.
ReplyDeleteWonder what Skye, Simmons, Ward and Bakshi are up to. Their reactions to whatever they are staaring at through the glass are funny. We know Lincoln will be rescued but i hope they don't kill Mike!
ReplyDeleteI wish people would have more faith on the writers, they've shown time and again the ability to lay off important story elements as throwaway lines or moments only to pick them up later and add relevance to them. ReplyDeleteYeah, so it was part of Ward plan whatever that is. Coulson didn't know about it and Deathlock was collateral damage. Hopefully he doesn't die.
ReplyDeleteThey have been as subtle as a baseball bat to the head with Ward's return to the team, and the orignial team together on a Quinnjet is equally as subtle (I'm just going to love the excuse as to why less resources are sent to deal with a Hydra head then to blow up a alien outpost (leaving alone the continued blank space of what other Shield has been doing), or why Gonzales lets Coulson go without sending at least Bobbi, wild guess they get refused and steal the jet just to increase the division between the two).

ReplyDeleteOr maybe he just took the bit about "act like you'd normally act" too literally.
ReplyDeleteGod Brett really IS a giant LOL, Ward and Skye next to each other is ALL i've wanted since season 1 finale!!!!! also Ward, Skye and Jemma look so badass together!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeletein all honesty what do you think the Theta Protocol? which apparently we heard about it in the first half of the season with Coulson mentioning it to Koenig
ReplyDeleteLincoln UGH!!!! but don't trust him. Mike BETTER not die!!!
ReplyDeleteI might be wrong, but what I could say is spoilers (saw Ultron tonight). So I'm not sure I should say anything.
ReplyDeleteYeah, lets handwave all the bodies then.
ReplyDeleteAnd yet the writers aren't even trying, last week's episode, even if you give the "we need him" angle along with deals with devils, what agent anywhere gives a traitor whose killed fellow agents a gun and then turns his back to him? looks like fitz is talking to simmons in one of those pictures but can't tell if its her 100% or not
ReplyDeleteis it safe to say Skye gained FULL control of her powers?
ReplyDeleteyou are SO lucky!!!! how was it, does it beat Avenger 1, Winter Soldier and Guardians?
ReplyDeletedon't care, love seeing Ward back with the team, sorry for meanness but just love the Original Team back and what bodies?
ReplyDeletedoes the suit work on TV? sometime superhero suits are tough to ring to the screen
ReplyDeleteif the Maximoff Twins ARE Inhuman, do you think we'll see them?
ReplyDeleteI loved it, to me beats Avengers 1 and Guardians, Winter Soldier is a personnel favourite so I'm torn. But I'm fairly sure you won't leave disapointed (don't sue me if you do ;)).

Yeah cause he only got captured trying to protect Skye, no reason to trust him there...
ReplyDeleteThey better not hurt Mike in any way!

ReplyDeleteYeah TWS is still a favourite of mine at the moment, along with Thor and Iron Man.
ReplyDeleteoh ok
ReplyDeleteLOL, yeah i get that would be weird to those lucky enough to see the movie
ReplyDeleteglad he did that but it doesn't mean i trust him still, i still don't get why Mike was immune to Lincoln's powers
ReplyDeleteOf course not. She has a long way to go i just get excited to see her using her powers. They have been doing good job using her powers on the show so i look forward to that.

ReplyDeleteJust don't want to ruin anything for you, wouldnt be fair I think, how long do you have to wait?
ReplyDeleteIt's funny, my sister isn't up to date with AoS, so I was "oh thats what ties in"
ReplyDeleteI really can't wait to watch that episode seriously it feels like everything is going down.
ReplyDeleteI'm just going to keep badgering you until I get an answer: what reason do you have to hate Lincoln other than "Skyeward"? I'm waiting.
ReplyDeleteThought the same thing. Doesn't look like a happy conversation either!
ReplyDeleteWas happy to have Fitz and Simmons back in the same room, but now it just looks like nothing but heartache again.
ReplyDeleteRe The New batch: Seeing as it looks like Skye, Simmons, Bahksi and Ward are standing in front of a glass/plexiglass room/wall, I'm gonna guess, it's either Lincoln or Mike on the other side of that and Skye uses her power to get them through.
ReplyDeletedefinitely not, sorry but their contracts are just about the movies, not the TV shows at this point :(
ReplyDeletenot suprising since their relationship has been strain all season long just seems its getting worse at times
ReplyDeleteMy guess is that they are dismantling the big Hydra base where powered people are being experienced on and they are also Mike and Lincoln in the process. That sort of Op could really see the Shield, the "real" Shield and the Inhumans working together.

For those who want to know more about the next episode, look at this preview: http://www.hypable.com/agents-of-s-h-i-e-l-d-2x19-hints/

ReplyDeleteInteresting wonder who dies ( I can just imagine the complaints no matter who it is).
ReplyDeleteha ha ha, I know. I think Mike is who is going to die. Besides, of Coulson's team, is the easiest to revive.
ReplyDelete
