Frank does not make sense. The only one who could make a link between him and Lila was Sam who is dead. Rebecca was a main suspect so why would he get rid of her?
Bonnie or Annalise make more sense. I can't see one of K as a cold-blood murderer!!
Who do I hope killed Rebecca? Wes, for sure. When Annalise embraced Wes on the stairs, she assumed he was crying and emotional over her husbands death. That he didn't know for sure if they made the right decision killing him when there are still so many unanswered questions regarding Lila (at least to the characters on the show).
I think that the reason Wes was crying and was so emotional was because he just killed the woman he really loved to save everyone else.
Laurel, Wes or Bonnie, IMO, but it is too soon to tell probably.
By the way, I don't think the person Lyla contacted should be referred to as Eggs 991, but as Eggs. She contacted a person named Eggs saying 991, as in distress signal. That's my understanding at least, I don't get why people say Eggs 991 lol
I disagree, I like her and I think she is damn complex. She is always a box full of surprises with all of repressed feelings and emotions towards Frank, Annalise, Tom and Asher. I never know what to expect from her.
I think Laurel is very possible in some elaborate way to protect Frank. And they revealed how cold she could be at the same time they revealed Lyla was dead, with Michaela's ring scene.
I think Wes killed her. That scene of him standing next to the empty chair made me suspect him. I hope he finds out she didn't kill Lyla and I hope they all find out the truth about Frank.
Just to be different, I'm hoping Connor did it, on a rampage. But I think it will have some twiste, and will end up being someone who wasn't on the house on the momment that Sam died. Annalise, Bonnie, Asher, Griffin, Nate, Sam's sister, Connor's boyfriend, Lila's spirit... LOL... Just spitballing.
I'm thinking Laurel. She certainly the most mysterious/ was emotionally effected the least by Sam (or atleast as far as we know) Plus they sort of hinted at Frank with the whole 'hitman' thing and that conversation was with Laurel

Laurel. The scene with the ring showed that she's the smartest and most thoughtful one. She clearly was desperate, they showed that in her conversation with Frank. And she knows that if she killed Rebecca and left her body for Annalise and Frank to find it, they would clean up the mess and cover it up. Because Annalise can't go to the police and be like 'hey, we kidnapped a girl, held her against her will in my basement and now she's dead'. I think Laurel is the only one who's smart enough to realise that. So she only had to kill her, Annalise (or whomever would find the body) has to clean up the mess. And it was smart to make it look like Rebecca escaped. I wonder if she was under the stairs all the time ;)
I feel there is more to Asher than his silliness. I think he is simply a goofy guy at this point but we will be surprised at one point when his true self emerges ....he didn't get into school or Annalises class for nothing . In a weird way these characters are all going to evolve and morph as the show progresses.
Already Michaela has stood up for herself against that witch if a once future mother in law. Lauren is going to find out she's more like mobster daddy than she knew.Connor will mature over Oliver.
Wes is the odd guy in my opinion him and Annalise are like a weirder Norman Bates and mother they are strange together. I can't put my finger on it. ...

Imo, Asher is most boring. He virtually adds nothing. Now if he was Rebecca's killer, that would be interesting.

It's not the most shocking scenario for sure but it would be hilarious watching everyone scramble when in fact there is no murderer to be caught.
