Neither. Both this ships are bringing the entire show.last season had neither & it was flawless.I say ditch both of them and get back to the basics.Romance is overrated!
Neither. Because of this the quality of this show is sinking and i hate it. Season 2 was so much better and i hope it can recover
I mean, last year Felicity was such an amazing, strong character and now i can't stand her, she is about to cry in every scene. I mean i want my brave nerdy Felicity back
I don't watch anymore but I didn't even know Raylicity was a thing. I'd go with neither anyway, the show needs to seriously sort itself out. I found season 1 ok and then it just fell off a cliff after that.
Since there is no option for Neither, I went with Raylicity.... since it is obviously the more organic pairing. But seriously, why wasn't "neither" an option?
Really? What is wrong with you?! There is only olicity in this show ...I allways fast-farward when ray is in the secen... maybe I'm taking it too personal ;)
Abstaining here, given the lack of a neither option. I genuinely don't care for either given how terrible both have been to this point. The only cause I would have to vote is for Raylicity but that's purely out of spiteful hate for Olicity. I really hate shipping.
I assume he/she means a pairing that was a natural storytelling decision as opposed to being done because fans wanted it. (Not expressing an opinion either way here, just interpreting what Canadagraphs said.)
Come on throw in Green Canary as an option and let hell freeze over. For me personally there is no question to be asked as Raylicity is borderline ignoring and annoying. I'm not really a shipper but I like the quircky moments Olicity provided for us. Adding Ray to the mix was just a huge CW move.
you can comment all you want, but olicity will win this poll, rather than spread and comment negatively, this fandom will get things done. 20 people said how they don't like olicity, 2000 will vote for them. season 3 is bad, but Arrow season 1 still the worse. Season 2 was good, that's because the show focus on team arrow as a team, a great character like the canary and charismatic villain, slade wilson. Season 2 also the begin of olicity, there's a reason why after season 2 olicity blew up, rather than used olicity as a prompt for other character, they focus on their relationship, their trust for each other. now it's all about ray. that's why it's bad.
NEITHER. Arrow isn't a show about shipping. This isn't the Vampire Diaries. But if I had to choose, it'd probably be Ray because Felicity is kinda like her old self with him and we don't have to hear her complain about her feelings for Oliver anymore. GEH, Olicity has dragged this show into the ground.
Is this even a question? Olicity, of course. While Ray & Felicity are fun in their light scenes, Oliver & Felicity's relationship are the heart of the show. Finding ways to keep them apart all season has dragged part of the show down. Felicity harnesses Oliver's light and her own shines the brightest at the same time when they're around each other. Not to mention, they were close friends before they fell in love. Showing that suddenly they agree on nothing only creates frustration.
It's actually funny how some are saying that Olicity is "ruining the show" when in reality they're NOT together. What is "ruining" the show is them being forced to be apart when they're not meant to be apart. Her feelings for Oliver began showing at the end of season 1, and his own for the first time in 2x06. So cut the crap about it "coming out of nowhere" and "not being a thing." They were co-workers becoming friends becoming partners becoming best friends becoming lovers. I don't see where's the forced in that.
So yeah, I'm just patiently waiting for the day they'll let them be themselves around each other like they did in the first 2 seasons and in most of the episodes of season 3 when they weren't fighting over nothing.
In season three Felicity had Oliver, the man she was in love with, tell her that they can't be together after months and months of "maybes." She watched the same man cut loose from his human side and suddenly not listening to her, which means she wasn't able to bring him back that easily. Her friend died. She got kidnapped by her first love, the person she mourned for years and felt guilty due to him committing suicide. On top of that? Both her and her mother were at gunpoint by him. The man she loved got her hopes up during these months only to crush them back down every two episodes. Then he told her he loved her, only to go on a suicide mission. Then she thought he DIED so she mourned him. Then he came back, but worked with the Devil himself; the same man who corrupted his sister and murdered 503 people -- including Oliver's best friend. He says he won't leave again, but he goes back to the same place where he nearly lost his life, denying the truth that he's doing it for more than just his sister. And when she finally moves on with someone else, hell breaks loose both in her relationship and in the fact that Oliver's mission --her mission-- was about to be exposed to the police. Especially after the newest killing spree, if they catch Oliver he'll probably serve a lifetime in jail. So cut her some slag, will you? She hasn't lost her nerdiness or her bravery ONE BIT, but it's like you're asking season 1 Felicity when EVERYONE has moved on and evolved past their state when we first saw them.
Are you saying that a normal, human being wouldn't cry with any of this? That assumption that a woman is no longer strong just because she lets her heart and her pain show, is ticking me off. When hasn't she been brave? When she took down her abductor all by herself? When she stood toe to toe with Malcolm Freakin' Merlyn? When she's the only guiding every single member in the team in order for them to get shit done in time? Please.
Guys, just let the Olicity fandom have this. It's not worth it really, it isn't.
OBVIOUSLY Oliver and Felicity are going to hook up and get together. That's a foregone conclusion. There will obviously be a pay off of some kind. That shouldn't be in doubt or dispute.
Olicity shippers however need to understand that Arrow will last 10 seasons at least, just like Smallville. That means there are at least 154 episodes left to produce. A lot is going to happen between now and then.
What this means is that of the 154 episodes left to produce by episode 40 Oliver and Felicity will have gotten together, and will be together.
By episode 80 they will have broken up.
By episode 100 they will have gotten back together at some point but will be broken up for good.
By episode 130 Oliver and Laurel will have rekindled a romantic interest.
By episode 150 as we approach the end Oliver and Laurel will have slept together again
By episode 154 (the series finale) Oliver and Laurel will have overcome whatever evil is menacing them at the time and go off into the sunset together....JUST LIKE CANON DEMANDS.
Do you happen to know the color of the shoes Felicity will wear in episode 114, too? It's amazing how you know exactly what will happen, right down to the episode numbers. You must be God or something.
Not gonna lie she never actually cries over Oliver's rejection shit. And she's human. She's allowed to cry when her friends die and the city is going to shit. And when her ex is a terrorist who kidnaps her and her mom.
Side note I hate ship smush names, I don't even watch Arrow but every time I see the name Olicity it irritates me. I prefer to stick to the good old fashioned way of shipping things Character A/Character B.
That makes sense. None of the Arrow romance except for Diggle/LYla is organic. They are spared because all their initial romance happened off screen. Same with Sara/Nyssa. They are really bad at it.
I am having a hard time even watching this anymore! All Oliver does, is complain and complain. I really do not understand why it is always in the top three on this site (i do not understand why people always get so excited about it)
Kick-ass action sequences & small personal moments between characters-these are Arrow's strength IMO.Lately they're creating quite some plot hole & inconsistencies in their storytelling to meet their Weekly quota of shocking cliffhanger/twist-initially it was surprising & refreshing like when moira died,i never saw that coming but all novelty of it is lost-example-Season 3 mid-season finale cliffhanger-just horrible!
Last season was far from flawless. There were long stretches of "huh" and some wheel spinning. What last season had that this season doesn't is a strong villain whose conflict with Oliver made sense and had some stakes: Slade Wilson/Deathstroke. The flashbacks explored the origins of that conflict and drove the current story. And the current story was tightly focused (for the most part) on Oliver and an exploration of what his vow not to kill really meant and what the ramifications of that choice were for him and his team (except for Laurel's arc, which truly did suck worse than anything this season).
This year we don't have that central conflict or villain, and that's the problem. This year the arc is 'identity' - and the central villain appears to be Ra's Al Ghul, but his behavior makes NO sense. He's like a honking big McGuffin forcing Oliver to get out of his now 17 episode long funk, and we still don't know WHY. Oliver's reasons for not killing Malcolm are inexplicable and stupid. The flashbacks are about Hong Kong and ARGUS - but why? They haven't tied to the present in any way, except for Maseo; but we still have no idea how Maseo went from devoted family man to assassin. Meanwhile, we get entire episodes devoted more or less to the Rise of Laurel's Black Canary and Ray's A.T.O.M. while Oliver stews over the same question he's been asking all year, with no interim revelations, passively and without moving forward. Arrow is supposedly about Oliver's journey - and yet there have been episodes with precious little Oliver in them.
Now Oliver/Felicity.... for a show that wasn't trying to do a romance, Arrow nailed the romantic aspect to a hero's journey. Anyone who thinks they weren't writing for Oliver and Felicity last season wasn't paying attention, because their growing closeness and the way they made each other more and better was damn near perfectly drawn. Even Oliver's relationship with Sara was put in context of what it meant for Oliver and Felicity. This season hasn't been as well done for them, but I don't think that's on Olicity - which when they just LET IT BE, is still damn near perfect. (Their interactions, positive or negative, are still usually among my favorite parts of the episodes!) But their relationship- just like the show - have been hampered by the nature of the dilemma Oliver has been dealing with: it's passive, it's not active, and it's full of starts and stops that don't make a lot of sense.
My brother loved this show so much until this ridiculous ship happened. He dropped the show 2 weeks ago, couldn't take it anymore. He said he'll catch up only when Ray is gone from this show! That's how "Organic" this couple is!!
Not done to appease 500 fangirls whining to the writers on tumblr or twitter to force it into the storyline. It actually developed with a more natural feel.
Lets remember that Felicity was never intended to be a major character for the lead to pine over. She was someone we were supposed to see 1-5 eps in a season and be gone. Her being a regular, and then Olivers "love" was forced in by fans crying for it to over sensitive writers who are afraid of The CW getting mad at them for not pleasing 11-18 yr old girls desires for a show originally targeted at adult males. The Olicity dynamic is HEAVILY forced, where as the Raylicity one came along far more natural, it felt far more normal & real.
Isn't the tv show at this point it's OWN 'canon'? The comic book 'canon' argument has never and will never make sense to me. There was no Sara in the comics. Oliver never slept wit - and that's a ridiculously damaging backstory, by the way. There was no Diggle in the comics. Does that mandate that Diggle has to die?
Olicity for sure. I don't mind Ray, but I think it's enough of a love triangle between Oliver/Arrow/Felicity. I actually wanted Felicity to have another love interest at first, but not at the expense of her character. I feel like all she does this season is cry or yell at people, and I love angst and romance, but I don't think they did a very good job this season of balancing out the drak/heavy episodes with the lighter/comic relief moments. Felicity is the comic relief, but she was so sad/mad all the time, I really missed her personality this season. It was there at times, but season two was deff. my favorite.
Facetiously, yes: he has to die. But seriously, no. He doesn't. That's because he's a supporting character. He's a utility character that doesn't drive the narrative.
The show is called "Arrow" - by that argument EVERY character is supporting and doesn't drive narrative.
Show canon is show canon. Oliver died thinking of Felicity and came back to life thinking of Felicity and Laurel didn't even show up in the episode where he said his farewells to the people who mattered in his life.
The show could have left room for her there easily enough if they intended to EVER go back. They didn't.
Raylicity is how I voted(Awful Ship name) since Ray isn't a regular it won't last...So it has my vote, since it's the lesser of two ships. Olicity shipping is what is hurting the show IMO, their story feels forced into the overall arc currently. Plus, Felicity deserves better than to be a plot device or romantic interest to two playboy superhero billionaires. The character deserves more flesh than that. If there were an other option I'd picked that, because I ship "Felicity" I do think Oliver needs to be with Laurel at some point. Their bond has yet to solidify in a way that feels deep and meaningful, they just butt heads mostly.
It is funny how when ever there is a shipping based poll here people who never posts here come in hoards flaming the ship war or trashing the shippers. None of these people are around when we discuss the episodes, characters,or story line.
Sorry but you're wrong. You're discounting what I said earlier that Arrow will last for 10 seasons. There is lots of story left to tell which as I stated will include Laurel, who incidentally is the female lead of the show not a supporting character. She drives narrative.
As for canon, there is no "show" canon or "comic" canon. There is simply CANON.
Canadagraphs your whining about EBR not giving you an autograph was worse than those so called fangirls' after the Raylicity sex and that says a lot.
But lets talk seriously now.
Since you seem to believe the writers pay a lot of attention to those 500 fangirls and i assume fans in general, let me tell you something. Did you know that the producer himself said that last year the majority of the "hate" mail they got was about Laurel not becoming Black Cannary sooner? Did you know that in one interview he basically said that they intended Laurel to become BC later on the show but they rushed it to happen this year? I guess no. That he basically admitted they rushed this because of the "hate" mail?
So please explain to me how two fictional characters who have been established as friends for 2 years(having interactions for two years) when they finally decide to take the next step to become something more after there were teases about that in second season is forced and unatural while a character becoming a fighter after 4 months of training is completely organic? Maybe "because of comics" is gonna be your answer?
But since here we talk about Raylicity vs Olicity, please tell me how pushing a character in the story to create a love triangle even though everyone knew he will be gone by the end of the season from the start and yet giving in each episode pointless scenes with only one character in order to establish this love triangle is considered organic? How him and Felicity sharing a kiss after seven episodes of this season is totally natural and not forced from the writers in the purpose of the love triangle theme while Oliver and Felicity kissing after 2.5 seasons and after being very close to each other is not organic?
Its different not seeing the chemistry and different claiming its not organic. Because there is nothing organic in the obvious Raylicity thing which is forced to create pointless drama and the love triangle.
Its not about the romance. Its about the writing and the pointless drama. The whole love triangle, the Thea and Malcom sotry, the "Quentin doesnt know for many episodes" drama. All of these. The show should focus on creating good mainstory with a little bit comedy to balance the "darkness" and they can play the romance in the background without the pointless melodrama. THis season is a mess because the main story sucks .
How am I wrong? The creators have explicitly stated, more than once, that they can do what they want with the show and are not bound by comic canon. So no, I'm not wrong. The show and the comics are SEPARATE. By definition.
And I'm not wrong about the story they're telling either. Because I watch what's on screen. The guy DIED and Laurel wasn't even a blip on his radar -not before his death, and not after. That's CANON.
Why do people feel the need to belittle others for liking romantic stories is beyond me! They think that makes them more mature and rational because they don't care about ridiculous stuff like love. You don't like shipping fine that's cool more power to you but that doesn't give you the right to shame others.
Seriously, Laurel's arc is one of the best things we've had this season and Laurel seems to be the only character whose character development also means growing while everyone else (except for maybe Thea) got downgraded in various different ways.
The show runners are going to do what they want. I understand that. But that doesn't make it it canon. By that same measure when on Smallville Martha Kent became a senator you're saying that would have been canon because it was part of the show. I can assure you there is no such thing as a Superman fan that accepts "Senator Martha Kent" as Superman canon.
At least they didn't put Lauriver as an option. Ray doesn't have nearly as much fans as Black Canary has, so the character bashing won't create the same drama as bashing Laurel would. So yeah, I guess it could've been worse.
Ray leaves, Oliver and Felicity go back to being friends, and they explore Olicity at a later date when they can handle it without making a mess of things. Where's that option?
I liked the idea of Oliver and Felicity a lot, but the execution has been terrible. If getting them together stops the moping and the fighting and the constant discussion of their potential relationship status without then morphing into moping and fighting and the constant discussion of their current relationship status, then that's great. If they did it like they did Oliver and Sara, where the romantic relationship can take a backseat except when it's relevant to the story and not be dramatic all the time, I'm good to go. But otherwise, it's time to take a step back, give it a season or two or maybe more, and then when the show is closer to wrapping up and they don't feel the need to play stupid will they/won't they games as much, they can give it a shot again. About the only positive thing I can say about it right now is that I still find them more appealing than Lauriver or Raylicity, the latter of which feels supremely unearned and a waste of Brandon Routh. Maybe everyone that's not Diggle just needs to be single for a while. It's not like they don't have other stuff to do.
So the only canon that counts is the comic - regardless of the fact that the audience for the show eclipses the number of people who have ever actually read a Green Arrow book by a substantial margin?
That's just not logical, to my mind. The show is going to do what the show wants - why should it be held to the source, when only a fraction of the audience ever read the source? Makes no sense to me creatively or more importantly from a business perspective. Especially for this show, where the creators have admitted, more than once, that they asked for Green Arrow because they knew they'd be ALLOWED to screw with/disregard/change comic canon at will, which they've more or less done. (And which is why DC won't give them some characters.)
There is a chance that 3 seasons from now (if the show lasts) they'll retcon the hell out of what happened this season the way they just did a few weeks ago with Oliver's season 1 fixation on Laurel. I found it completely hilarious that the only reason Hong-Kong-Ollie saw Laurel was that he was checking on Tommy and Thea. And that he had NO reaction to Tommy and Laurel agreeing to go on their first date. Yet another example of the repudiation of the so-called 'fated' Arrow/Black Canary romance.
A romantic arc is neccessary within every storyline, however it's not supposed to take control over the plot (unless it's a romance centered story) as it did on Arrow.
Just felt like this was directed at me, I don't belittle shippers for liking a ship but for supporting the off-balance in terms of writing
You've said a lot so my response is going to have to break down your comments and how they're wrong so keep up.
You said: "So the only canon that counts is the comic" ** Canon is based on the original source material and the media that it was originally presented. I could go on but to sum up in this case: canon is what DC Comics publishes in the magazine "Green Arrow". So in this case: yes. The only canon that counts is the comic.
You said: "regardless of the fact that the audience for the show eclipses the number of people who have ever actually read a Green Arrow book by a substantial margin?" ** I doubt seriously you have even the slightest knowledge of how many people have read a Green Arrow book so for you to declare as definitively as you have that the show "eclipses" the readership by "a substantial margin" is intellectually false (that's a polite way of saying it) You're just guessing with this statement.
You said: "That's just not logical, to my mind. The show is going to do what the show wants - why should it be held to the source, when only a fraction of the audience ever read the source? " ** Again, you're guessing. I also need to challenge you on how you perceive logic given that the first statement is questionable at best.
You said: "Makes no sense to me creatively or more importantly from a business perspective." ** Business perspective? How do either of us have ANY visibility to CW's financial information enough to say what does or doesn't make sense from a business perspective? Again, you're making assumptions.
You said: "Especially for this show, where the creators have admitted, more than once, that they asked for Green Arrow because they knew they'd be ALLOWED to screw with/disregard/change comic canon at will, which they've more or less done. (And which is why DC won't give them some characters.)" **Not sure what you're arguing here because it sounds like you're saying the show runners are knowing changing canon because they can.
You said: "There is a chance that 3 seasons from now (if the show lasts) they'll retcon the hell out of what happened this season the way they just did a few weeks ago with Oliver's season 1 fixation on Laurel. I found it completely hilarious that the only reason Hong-Kong-Ollie saw Laurel was that he was checking on Tommy and Thea. And that he had NO reaction to Tommy and Laurel agreeing to go on their first date. Yet another example of the repudiation of the so-called 'fated' Arrow/Black Canary romance."
**This last part is just a big rant but nowhere is there ANY evidence of any "repudiation of the so-called 'fated' Arrow/Black Canary romance" You haven't made any actual points other than express what it is you THINK you're seeing.
I gotta say these are weak arguments. If your comment was part of school paper it would get an F.
When I saw the poll and 100 comments below i had a thought, have certainly given his coments 10 always walk around here and the other 90 are from people who have never discussed an episode, so i only read the first 20 lol, as a Olicity shipper i just can't stand intruders, ups!!
mac Don't be deliberately obtuse. I was not talking about you. I was talking about people who never comment here but comes promptly when a shipper poll is put up. I know you, Jon, Bruce and so many others here who does not like romance on this show. We have good discussions all the time. That is not what is happening here.
I welcome all the new people who come to talk Arrow here. We have all sorts of people here. But when people come only to get one up on other faction of fandom or to put down others who does not agree with them it annoys me.
Exactly. I don't ship anyone on Arrow. I could care less if Olicity happens or not. But I can understand people who ship Olicity. They enjoy what they like just like I enjoy what I like. I wouldn't like it if anyone go on insulting me for my viewing preferences or even my social media preferences. I don't understand why people who belittle shippers understand that. If you want to complain, do it about the show runners. Ultimately how much ever audience make noise every scene on Arrow is their decision. The blame or praise solely lies on their shoulders. It's okay to hate a romantic pairing. You can express that too just like anyone has the right to hate any story line or character. But you don't have to belittle a group of fans because what you want is not shown on screen. That makes you just as petty as the unruly shippers you hate.
Exactly. I don't care about any romantic relationships on Arrow. But I do understand people who enjoy them and who finds it the main draw point on a show. No one here would like anyone criticizing their tv viewing preferences or their social media activity. Why do it to others? In the end every single scene being shown on the screen when Arrow airs comes from the producers. If you like it, not like it.. it feels forced not forced every single decision and its responsibility solely lies upon their shoulders. just because you are not getting what you want from the show is not an excuse to belittle others who enjoy it.
You can hate a relationship on the show just like everyone else has the right to hate a story line or a character. And you have the right to express your dislike and concerns too. But do it in a respectable manner and don't put all your frustrations on people who disagree with you. There are people here who has stopped watching Arrow. Yet they come here to flame ship wars. If you don't like shipping that much why click on a shipping based poll? Why not click on the promo post and comment on other aspects of the show? I don't go to forums I don't like and tell people there how much I dislike them.
You at least can have hope. My ship sank before it even began and it will never sail again. I shipped Tommy/Thea so hard in season 1. Now even if Tommy comes back it will never happen. My poor shipper heart..
You know you're just doing click bait posts when you post a stupid pool like this... Let's compare a ship with a very loud fanbase between one with 3 episodes in it's back and it's soon to be over so people can argue in the comments...
I like Ray/Felicity just like I like Oliver/Felicity, Oliver/Sara, Thea/Roy, Sara/Nyssa, Barry/Felicity and of course Diggle/Lyla. So does that make me a Ray/Felicity shipper. I find them cute.
Yes because she'd make jokes while Oliver's dead, Sara has died and the city has burned, or during the Malcolm alliance. Look I love Felicity as comic relief and I'm glad she's reclaiming that role, but it'd be weird as hell if she was that during that period. And characters need to be more than one thing forever. It would have been ridiculously OOC if she was that anywhere from 3x09-3x16.
Well Raylicity was only created for more Oliciity angst. They knew Ray wasn't staying on Arrow so they used that opportunity for more pointless love speeches, endless stares and i love you but i cant be with you speeches between Oliver and Felicity. Arrow is slowly but surely turning into TVD's Delena.
Nah I'm good. That was enough. The question alone seriously had me tearing. Every time I wiped my eyes, more came down. I'm good. I haven't laughed like that in a long time.
agreed as long as it is not over done, case and point TVD Delena. I dont like the fact that with in 3 seasons Oliver has had 4 major loves. Laurel, Sara, Shadow and Felicity, pour bastard can't catch a break.
If so, he forgot the "This week's episode is THE BEST ONE YET! But the one next week will be EVEN BETTER AND MORE EPIC! And the one the week after..." etc. part.
It's just a clickbait article to generate a storm of fecal matter... i love Olicity. These polls are pointless and only generate hate on a fandom. There's no need to make this pool. Everybody knows what the outcome will be. Also, i was being sarcastic. Talking to a user i always talk and kinda gets my sense of humor. Not need to meddle.
It's academic, as Ray and Felicity are a couple for the time being. Though it will be over by the start of next season, since Atom is relocating to his own series. But Oliver and Felicity won't be a couple either. It's amusing how many online people want to see Olicity when it makes absolutely no sense for it to happen. It makes far more sense storywise to have most of the characters available for relationships with outside people, along with the established married couple so that dynamic can be explored. As it is, the weakest part of this season has been the handling of the Olicity ongoing storyline, because the two characters have reacted based on how it serves an immediate storyline rather than based on two years of established character behavior. Yes, they explored possibly dating at the beginning of this season, but it should have been wrapped up in the first third of the season instead of being dragged out to now.
Well, tbh it only "took over" because of the way they approached Ra's and their choice of thus year's Oliver's persobal struggle. Ra's wasn't a menacing presence as Slade was(first using Brother Blood) so they needed to use something to make the show serialized. Oliver's personal journey is if he could ever be normal so a love partner is very important. I guess i look at it from what that story gives to Oliver's journey: it shows his struggle to be Oliver Queen, to have what Digg has now. Yes, it wasn't a good execution but for that i blame the fact that they MUST produce 23 episodes and so they drag stories(if the show had 16 episodes they would have put Oliver and Felicity together after 3x12), that's what the Malcolm argument and Raylicity are there for. Network tv is soooo outdated.
Agree. When the time comes for talking about the episode we are always 4 crazy cats(a saying in my country: 4 gatos locos)... 80% of these people i haven't seen them anywhere...
What I don't understand is if you don't like something why click on a link which discusses the thing you loathe? This is not a poll asking about the merits of shipping? This is a poll comparing two romantic pairing. Why come here at all if you can't stand romance in this show. It is so annoying. There is a ton of other threads where we discuss a bunch of different stuff.
Actually you had multiple obnoxious comments (like your one about the poll being moronic), so I was referring to all your comments. I'm pretty sure that was a take-at-face-value comment. rather than witty humour.
Well, the pool is moronic. What's the point other than clickbait? Enlighten me, please! Because this only generates hate. People that don't even comment in the weekly episodes came here to trash the ships. Also, i was joking. I always joke about the torches and the shotgun thing was because of a Simpsons episode. That's who i am and that's how i joke. ODA knows this... I don't get why you are so fiercely defending this pool. Did you paid someone to submitt it? Did your cousin submitted it?
Raylicity. Though I'd pretty much say anything but Olicity. At least Raylicity make a good couple, they are so goofy and they just fit...if only it wasn't doomed thanks to his departure, I'd rather not have to endure more of whatever retconning they'll continue to add just to make Olicity happen.
1- wtf does her signing habits have to do with anything? This isn't a poll about whether or not EBR is a nice person. Stay on topic. 2- The writers, like ANYONE with the CW, will do what they are told to do BY THE CW.... including, and not exclusive to, deflecting complaints/blame to whatever the CW does want being seen as their "problem" with fans, as opposed to what the real problems are, which fall in line with the last place networks archaic failing motto "write for tween girls and tween girls only". So them claiming their hate mail was about BC compared to Olicity is them playing their bosses game. You are clearly the type of person who believes EVERYTHING told to you by someone else who is "official".... because they have a long history of being infallible. 3- Comparing LL being BC to Olicity is absurd. Neither is realistic, even in comparison to a man in a suit who can fly around the city or a guy who is faster than the speed of sound. LL being BC is absurd this fast. Everyone knows it. So is Felicity being the love interest of Oliver. Her pining over him, understandable. Him feeling the same in return, unrealistic. 4- Who was pushed in to create a love triangle? Right, felicity Smoak. Correct me if I am wrong, but when the show was first designed, Laurel was the intended love interest. While Felicity was a "recurring guest star" whow asnt even cast till after the show had filmed a couple episodes. She had a character that was likable, while the lead wasn't, So the writers caved to fangirls demands and forced her in and created a love triangle. As for RP, the one you were TRYING to make that point about.... his character has a valid reason to be on the show so "pushed" into a love triangle is an absurd statement, UNLESS you are admitting FS was pushed in as well... cant be 1 or the other, either both were, or neither were. Hes also is a character that clearly will accept the love of a woman instead of Oliver who is undeniably destined for physical distractions as opposed to giving love back. Ray & Felicity make sense, Oliver & Felicity doesn't from a simply logic standpoint. If you want Felicity to have a love life, its with Ray Palmer. NOT Oliver Queen. You answer your own question with the time gap. OQ doesn't want a relationship & thus, didn't try leading FS on, thus why it took forever for them to kiss. RP is open to a romantic relationship, thus why FS kissed him after a few eps. Ray is willing, Oliver is not. Oliver MIGHT have feelings for Felicity, but they are feelings he (shouldnt) will never act on. 5- While I agree the writers are TRYING to force a "love triangle" drama that isn't needed (because the show shouldnt be wasting their limited 42 minutes a week on such pointless babbling) the fact still remains Raylicity was a more organic &* natural pairing than Olicity. Felicity will pretty much consider doing it with anyone with a hero complex. Oliver, Barry, Ray. Shes easy to get. Oliver, is not. Ray, is. Thus, them getting together is FAR more organic than the emotionally unavailable Oliver.
6- Hey, feel free to remember I'm not one of the tween girls who don't understand the actual dynamic of the show & only watch it for pointless love dramas that don't fit in it. I actually watch Arrow for its intended purpose, an action show about a vigilante and his partners taking on bad people. The fact that the vast majority of CW viewers are incapable of watching it without drowning it in tween girl drama favorable material is really a problem for the network. If Arrow was on CBS, ABC or NBC it would be 1 of the top 10 shows on network TV. If the CW followed the game plans of those networks, it wouldn't be dead last. But that's fine. Let them keep listening to the 500 fangirls a week whining. I am sure that will get them several million more viewers a year lol.Its worked so well so far.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
These Kind of polls can be very annoying
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty surprised this poll even exists. Seriously?
ReplyDeleteYou're kidding, right? Is this like an early April's fools?
ReplyDeleteDoliver. Diggle+Oliver for life! *_*
ReplyDeleteNeither. Both this ships are bringing the entire show.last season had neither & it was flawless.I say ditch both of them and get back to the basics.Romance is overrated!
ReplyDeleteOlicity of course
ReplyDeleteOlicity please, please, please.
ReplyDeleteRaylicity makes no sense, sorry ...
Neither. Because of this the quality of this show is sinking and i hate it. Season 2 was so much better and i hope it can recover
ReplyDeleteI mean, last year Felicity was such an amazing, strong character and now i can't stand her, she is about to cry in every scene. I mean i want my brave nerdy Felicity back
Olicity!!! duh!
ReplyDeleteNo surprise how this poll will look like.
ReplyDeleteI don't watch anymore but I didn't even know Raylicity was a thing. I'd go with neither anyway, the show needs to seriously sort itself out. I found season 1 ok and then it just fell off a cliff after that.
ReplyDeleteSince there is no option for Neither, I went with Raylicity.... since it is obviously the more organic pairing.
ReplyDeleteBut seriously, why wasn't "neither" an option?
I'm curious to know, what is your definition of an organic pairing?
ReplyDeleteOne tree hill-Naley was a great example.
ReplyDeleteI never watched OTH, can I get another example?
ReplyDeleteCastle-Beckett-Extraordinary organic chemistry.
ReplyDeleteYeah those two are a true organic couple but plz tell me you're not comparing them to Raylicity?
ReplyDeleteRaylicity!!! They are so lovely together and he treats her the way she really deserves. He is a gentleman!!!
ReplyDeleteHow can this even exist? Oliver x Felicity all the way!! They make the show even better!! #Anti-Raylicity
ReplyDeleteReally? What is wrong with you?! There is only olicity in this show ...I allways fast-farward when ray is in the secen... maybe I'm taking it too personal ;)
ReplyDeleteAbstaining here, given the lack of a neither option. I genuinely don't care for either given how terrible both have been to this point. The only cause I would have to vote is for Raylicity but that's purely out of spiteful hate for Olicity. I really hate shipping.
ReplyDeleteSomeone wants to start a Civil War here. This can end ugly! *covering my eyes*
ReplyDeleteYay, another shipping poll!
ReplyDeleteI assume he/she means a pairing that was a natural storytelling decision as opposed to being done because fans wanted it. (Not expressing an opinion either way here, just interpreting what Canadagraphs said.)
ReplyDeleteCome on throw in Green Canary as an option and let hell freeze over.
ReplyDeleteFor me personally there is no question to be asked as Raylicity is borderline ignoring and annoying. I'm not really a shipper but I like the quircky moments Olicity provided for us. Adding Ray to the mix was just a huge CW move.
Nolicity.
ReplyDeleteWhy isn't Feggle an option?
ReplyDeleteAgreed
ReplyDeleteRaylicity is the complete opposite of that. That relationship only exists for the sake of creating a love triangle.
ReplyDeleteNeither..Ollie has way to many issues and Ray looks like a creep. Plus, felicity isn't my favorite character either too pushy
ReplyDeleteyay, never enough of those!!!
ReplyDeleteyou can comment all you want, but olicity will win this poll, rather than spread and comment negatively, this fandom will get things done.
ReplyDeleteMy choice Ola's or GhulQueen. The lovely pairing between smoking hot Oliver Queen and the mysteriously dreamy Ra's Al Ghul.
ReplyDeleteNEITHER.
ReplyDeleteCastle/Beckett and Naley in comparison to Raylicity. LMAO.
ReplyDeleteAny time i see an arrow poll i roll my eyes. At the moment, I find this show to be a bit overrated and overhyped. Anyone agree?
ReplyDeleteIs this even a question? Olicity, of course. While Ray & Felicity are fun in their light scenes, Oliver & Felicity's relationship are the heart of the show. Finding ways to keep them apart all season has dragged part of the show down. Felicity harnesses Oliver's light and her own shines the brightest at the same time when they're around each other. Not to mention, they were close friends before they fell in love. Showing that suddenly they agree on nothing only creates frustration.
ReplyDeleteIt's actually funny how some are saying that Olicity is "ruining the show" when in reality they're NOT together.
Neither?
ReplyDeleteIn season three Felicity had Oliver, the man she was in love with, tell her that they can't be together after months and months of "maybes." She watched the same man cut loose from his human side and suddenly not listening to her, which means she wasn't able to bring him back that easily.
ReplyDeleteAre you saying that a normal, human being wouldn't cry with any of this? That assumption that a woman is no longer strong just because she lets her heart and her pain show, is ticking me off. When hasn't she been brave? When she took down her abductor all by herself? When she stood toe to toe with Malcolm Freakin' Merlyn? When she's the only guiding every single member in the team in order for them to get shit done in time? Please.
sarcasm? Hard to judge on the internet.
ReplyDeleteRaylicity
ReplyDeletei was begining to think when this will show up ,
ReplyDeleteWow, you had a whole speech prepared.
ReplyDeleteDelena xD
ReplyDeleteAnother shipper related poll? Fine.
ReplyDeleteGuys, just let the Olicity fandom have this.
I had nothing prepared, I just know my show and pay attention to it. Degrading women for being humans has never and will never sit well with me.
ReplyDeleteYou betcha.
ReplyDeleteWhy must people love flame wars and ship wars?
ReplyDeleteDo you happen to know the color of the shoes Felicity will wear in episode 114, too? It's amazing how you know exactly what will happen, right down to the episode numbers. You must be God or something.
ReplyDeleteNot gonna lie she never actually cries over Oliver's rejection shit. And she's human. She's allowed to cry when her friends die and the city is going to shit. And when her ex is a terrorist who kidnaps her and her mom.
ReplyDeleteYes. Getting a bit tired of hearing how an enormously generic, bland and predictable show is some kind of gem.
ReplyDeleteNo, I have my limits. But I do understand how comic book shows work.
ReplyDeleteWhy isn't there a none option??
ReplyDeleteOh whalee
Raylicity shouldn't even be named in the same sentence with these two couples i mentioned TBH!
ReplyDeleteSide note I hate ship smush names, I don't even watch Arrow but every time I see the name Olicity it irritates me. I prefer to stick to the good old fashioned way of shipping things Character A/Character B.
ReplyDeleteOMG NO!Raylicity is horrible & forced to say the least!
ReplyDeleteThat only makes sense Lou. You're in the wrong forum.
ReplyDeleteThat makes sense. None of the Arrow romance except for Diggle/LYla is organic. They are spared because all their initial romance happened off screen. Same with Sara/Nyssa. They are really bad at it.
ReplyDeleteI am having a hard time even watching this anymore! All Oliver does, is complain and complain. I really do not understand why it is always in the top three on this site (i do not understand why people always get so excited about it)
ReplyDeleteAgreed
ReplyDeleteExactly! That's why I was asking. I was surprised that Raylicity was described as an organic pairing.
ReplyDeleteKick-ass action sequences & small personal moments between characters-these are Arrow's strength IMO.Lately they're creating quite some plot hole & inconsistencies in their storytelling to meet their Weekly quota of shocking cliffhanger/twist-initially it was surprising & refreshing like when moira died,i never saw that coming but all novelty of it is lost-example-Season 3 mid-season finale cliffhanger-just horrible!
ReplyDeleteOliver has certainly become quite an unlikable character like Elena of TVD to me.
ReplyDeleteLast season was far from flawless.
ReplyDeleteThis year we don't have that central conflict or villain, and that's the problem.
ReplyDeleteThat's how "Organic" this couple is!!
Only one thing i can say with 100% certainty is the flashbacks this year SUCK!
ReplyDeleteNot done to appease 500 fangirls whining to the writers on tumblr or twitter to force it into the storyline.
ReplyDeleteIt actually developed with a more natural feel.
The Olicity dynamic is HEAVILY forced, where as the Raylicity one came along far more natural, it felt far more normal & real.
more or less, pretty close to accurate.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely agree.
ReplyDeleteIsn't the tv show at this point it's OWN 'canon'? The comic book 'canon' argument has never and will never make sense to me. There was no Sara in the comics. Oliver never slept wit - and that's a ridiculously damaging backstory, by the way. There was no Diggle in the comics. Does that mandate that Diggle has to die?
ReplyDeleteDon't they, though? Utterly pointless.
ReplyDeleteOlicity for sure.
ReplyDeleteFacetiously, yes: he has to die. But seriously, no. He doesn't. That's because he's a supporting character. He's a utility character that doesn't drive the narrative.
ReplyDeleteThe show is called "Arrow" - by that argument EVERY character is supporting and doesn't drive narrative.
ReplyDeleteShow canon is show canon. Oliver died thinking of Felicity and came back to life thinking of Felicity and Laurel didn't even show up in the episode where he said his farewells to the people who mattered in his life.
The show could have left room for her there easily enough if they intended to EVER go back. They didn't.
I can't really say that I blame your brother. I am not going to watch the spinoff because Ray is the main character there.
ReplyDeleteIf you say so.
ReplyDeleteRaylicity is how I voted(Awful Ship name) since Ray isn't a regular it won't last...So it has my vote, since it's the lesser of two ships.
ReplyDeleteOlicity shipping is what is hurting the show IMO, their story feels forced into the overall arc currently. Plus, Felicity deserves better than to be a plot device or romantic interest to two playboy superhero billionaires. The character deserves more flesh than that. If there were an other option I'd picked that, because I ship "Felicity"
I do think Oliver needs to be with Laurel at some point.
ReplyDeleteSorry but you're wrong. You're discounting what I said earlier that Arrow will last for 10 seasons. There is lots of story left to tell which as I stated will include Laurel, who incidentally is the female lead of the show not a supporting character. She drives narrative.
ReplyDeleteAs for canon, there is no "show" canon or "comic" canon. There is simply CANON.
Canadagraphs your whining about EBR not giving you an autograph was worse than those so called fangirls' after the Raylicity sex and that says a lot.
ReplyDeleteBut lets talk seriously now.
ReplyDeleteHow am I wrong? The creators have explicitly stated, more than once, that they can do what they want with the show and are not bound by comic canon. So no, I'm not wrong. The show and the comics are SEPARATE. By definition.
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm not wrong about the story they're telling either.
ReplyDeleteHow can I view the poll results?
ReplyDeleteSeriously, Laurel's arc is one of the best things we've had this season and Laurel seems to be the only character whose character development also means growing while everyone else (except for maybe Thea) got downgraded in various different ways.
ReplyDeleteThe show runners are going to do what they want. I understand that. But that doesn't make it it canon. By that same measure when on Smallville Martha Kent became a senator you're saying that would have been canon because it was part of the show. I can assure you there is no such thing as a Superman fan that accepts "Senator Martha Kent" as Superman canon.
ReplyDeleteAt least they didn't put Lauriver as an option. Ray doesn't have nearly as much fans as Black Canary has, so the character bashing won't create the same drama as bashing Laurel would. So yeah, I guess it could've been worse.
ReplyDeleteNeither
ReplyDeleteThis is a obviously a Felicity-centered poll.
ReplyDeleteSarcasm.
ReplyDeleteRaylicty. I ship Oliver with nobody. He should be single.
ReplyDeleteRay leaves, Oliver and Felicity go back to being friends, and they explore Olicity at a later date when they can handle it without making a mess of things. Where's that option?
ReplyDeleteI liked the idea of Oliver and Felicity a lot, but the execution has been terrible.
ReplyDeleteThat's just not logical, to my mind.
Raylicity
ReplyDeleteNeither?
ReplyDeleteOr hell, how about Merlycity? Or Felicilance? Anyone up for Ra'licity or Maselicity? I'm confused how Digglicity and Roylicity hasn't happened yet.
Whoever made this poll.....I won't come for you and I won't find you but be assured I'm mad at you
A romantic arc is neccessary within every storyline, however it's not supposed to take control over the plot (unless it's a romance centered story) as it did on Arrow.
ReplyDeleteJust felt like this was directed at me, I don't belittle shippers for liking a ship but for supporting the off-balance in terms of writing
Ummm, hello? I'm almost always here
ReplyDeleteYou've said a lot so my response is going to have to break down your comments and how they're wrong so keep up.
ReplyDeleteYou said: "So the only canon that counts is the comic"
** Canon is based on the original source material and the media that it was originally presented. I could go on but to sum up in this case: canon is what DC Comics publishes in the magazine "Green Arrow". So in this case: yes. The only canon that counts is the comic.
You said: "regardless of the fact that the audience for the show eclipses the number of people who have ever actually read a Green Arrow book by a substantial margin?"
** I doubt seriously you have even the slightest knowledge of how many people have read a Green Arrow book so for you to declare as definitively as you have that the show "eclipses" the readership by "a substantial margin" is intellectually false (that's a polite way of saying it) You're just guessing with this statement.
You said: "That's just not logical, to my mind. The show is going to do what the show wants - why should it be held to the source, when only a fraction of the audience ever read the source? "
** Again, you're guessing. I also need to challenge you on how you perceive logic given that the first statement is questionable at best.
You said: "Makes no sense to me creatively or more importantly from a business perspective."
** Business perspective? How do either of us have ANY visibility to CW's financial information enough to say what does or doesn't make sense from a business perspective? Again, you're making assumptions.
You said: "Especially for this show, where the creators have admitted, more than once, that they asked for Green Arrow because they knew they'd be ALLOWED to screw with/disregard/change comic canon at will, which they've more or less done. (And which is why DC won't give them some characters.)"
**Not sure what you're arguing here because it sounds like you're saying the show runners are knowing changing canon because they can.
I'm still waiting for Sloliver to happen, after these lonely nights together on the island they HAVE to have had some romantical interactions
ReplyDeleteWell, it's really less of a ship wars, are there even Ray/Felicity shippers?
ReplyDeleteIt was so not directed at you. You weren't even here! I don't do passive aggressive.
ReplyDeleteThank god, I was almost afraid ^^
ReplyDeleteNah, this poll is clearly ment to antagonize
Are we sure Marc didn't submit this poll?
ReplyDeleteI think so. They few in number from what I've seen here.
ReplyDeleteWhen I saw the poll and 100 comments below i had a thought, have certainly given his coments 10 always walk around here and the other 90 are from people who have never discussed an episode, so i only read the first 20 lol, as a Olicity shipper i just can't stand intruders, ups!!
ReplyDeleteBarricity.
ReplyDeleteOh I don't think so, he's usually SOOO moderate ;)
ReplyDeleteLike if there was choice to make..
ReplyDeleteRay is really terrible character, can't wait for him to leave this show.
huh and there I thought that ship was pretty fan-less
ReplyDeleteI'm stil mad that I didn't manage to get Sloliver and Ra'licity off the ground ;P
I hate to break it you Mac, but Sloliver's already a thing. But now Ra'licity that's got possibilities. :D
ReplyDeletemac Don't be deliberately obtuse. I was not talking about you. I was talking about people who never comment here but comes promptly when a shipper poll is put up. I know you, Jon, Bruce and so many others here who does not like romance on this show. We have good discussions all the time. That is not what is happening here.
ReplyDeleteNo one mentions Thealicity or Laurelicity :(
ReplyDeleteI welcome all the new people who come to talk Arrow here. We have all sorts of people here. But when people come only to get one up on other faction of fandom or to put down others who does not agree with them it annoys me.
ReplyDeleteGive it up mac. That ship has sunk like Titanic when Slade drove that sword through Moira's chest.
ReplyDeleteTotalmente de acuerdo!!
ReplyDeleteExactly.
ReplyDeleteIt's okay to hate a romantic pairing. You can express that too just like anyone has the right to hate any story line or character. But you don't have to belittle a group of fans because what you want is not shown on screen. That makes you just as petty as the unruly shippers you hate.
I really hope this was sarcasm.. Sometimes I have problem to recognize it.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't say it better.
ReplyDelete154 ppl YOU have failed this city!
ReplyDeleteI just i hate the hypocrisy of certain people who bash fangirls and at the same time sound like whining fanboys.
ReplyDeletephew, I was just afraid, a little sensitive today
ReplyDeletePain connects them, hate draws them together ;)
ReplyDeleteExactly.
ReplyDeleteYou can hate a relationship on the show just like everyone else has the right to hate a story line or a character.
Olicity of course. No other option. Raylicity isn't even competition.
ReplyDeleteYou at least can have hope. My ship sank before it even began and it will never sail again. I shipped Tommy/Thea so hard in season 1. Now even if Tommy comes back it will never happen. My poor shipper heart..
ReplyDeletePshhh.. We all practically live here. I sometimes feel like I am back at my college dorm room.
ReplyDeleteWhere is google translate?
ReplyDeleteSloliver FTW!!! All those cold and lonely nights in the island with Oliver's long blonde hair... Everybody know what really happened Jajaja
ReplyDeleteOla's forever. Look at the way Ra's looked at Oliver during that feast. Such connection and chemistry cannot be denied.
ReplyDeleteThat ship sunk. Lot of mommy issues.
ReplyDeleteYeah, that gotta be though lol
ReplyDeleteThis ain't Game of Thrones ^^
There are fanfictions on SlOliver. They are a big thing.
ReplyDeleteYou know you're just doing click bait posts when you post a stupid pool like this... Let's compare a ship with a very loud fanbase between one with 3 episodes in it's back and it's soon to be over so people can argue in the comments...
ReplyDeleteThese pools are so moronic... really...
LMFAO!!!! You just made my day with that comment Jajajaja
ReplyDeleteIs it still spoilertv or have you change the name to shippingtv? This is the dumbest poll ever.
ReplyDeleteThis is a user submitted poll randomly selected for the day.
ReplyDeleteI noticed how many people are upset with yet another ship-related poll. My advice: feel free to ignore it, noone makes you vote anyway.
ReplyDeleteSo Oliver accepts Ra's offer and they're in Ra's chambers and this conversation goes down:
ReplyDeleteRa's: Are you ready?
Oliver: I am. What's the rite of passage?
Ra's(winking): Hint, it's gonna hurt a bit.
Oliver: I'm so gonna regret this in the morning...
Exactly,it is so obvious it pains my eyes.
ReplyDeleteWe should hunt that user with torches... I'm gonna go get my shotgun.
ReplyDeleteI like Ray/Felicity just like I like Oliver/Felicity, Oliver/Sara, Thea/Roy, Sara/Nyssa, Barry/Felicity and of course Diggle/Lyla. So does that make me a Ray/Felicity shipper. I find them cute.
ReplyDeleteEveryone wants character development and change for every other character. But Felicity always has to be the funny, quirky comic relief forever.
ReplyDeletewell, Olivers butt should already be used to being Slade-ed :P
ReplyDeleteRight? Dem 2 are sexy 2getha ;)
ReplyDeleteKeep it PG people.
ReplyDeleteBut have you seen Ra's al Ghul's sword? Jajajajajajaja
ReplyDeletecan't be that big, the Lazarus pit might've kept his body young but the side-effects...phew...let's just say his partners usually use lenses
ReplyDeleteYes because she'd make jokes while Oliver's dead, Sara has died and the city has burned, or during the Malcolm alliance. Look I love Felicity as comic relief and I'm glad she's reclaiming that role, but it'd be weird as hell if she was that during that period. And characters need to be more than one thing forever. It would have been ridiculously OOC if she was that anywhere from 3x09-3x16.
ReplyDeleteIs almost a tie (?)
ReplyDeleteThis shit can be annoying :)
ReplyDeleteAgreed. I want Ray gone.
ReplyDeleteWell Raylicity was only created for more Oliciity angst. They knew Ray wasn't staying on Arrow so they used that opportunity for more pointless love speeches, endless stares and i love you but i cant be with you speeches between Oliver and Felicity. Arrow is slowly but surely turning into TVD's Delena.
ReplyDeleteOlicity. Raylicity is a joke and a plot device for Olicity. They'll probably break up in the next episode.
ReplyDeleteHey-O!!!
ReplyDeleteolicity duh
ReplyDeleteI noticed lol
ReplyDeleteI tip my hat for you!
ReplyDeleteNo, it wasn't!!! It's my opinion!!! If you don't like, I'm ok with that!!!
ReplyDeleteHahahahaHahahahahaHahahahahaHahahah!!!! What kinda question is this??? HahaHahaHahaHahahahaHahahahaha Ohhhh that's funny, Ohhh I'm literally tearing. That's funny. Woo boy, my stomach hurts.
ReplyDeleteOkay.. I guess.. I can't imagine what makes you think about Ray as about gentleman, but it's.. okay. Good for you that you enjoyed their story. ;)
ReplyDeleteA tie?? There's no tie. Olicity has 2, 241 votes. The other one has 202. LOL It's not even a question. Idek why this poll exist.
ReplyDeleteAgreed.
ReplyDeleteBecause the guy is married and they never show any romantic feeling toward eachother?
ReplyDeleteSpoilerTv, you want to make a interesting poll? Lauriver vs Raylicity.
ReplyDeleteHe is probably Marc Guggenheim himself...oh wait, then he would be trolling us.
ReplyDeleteWanna laugh some more? Read the comments about how "organic" Raylicity is hahaha
ReplyDeleteNOlicity!! :D
ReplyDeleteThat is: Totally agree!!
ReplyDeleteNah I'm good. That was enough. The question alone seriously had me tearing. Every time I wiped my eyes, more came down. I'm good. I haven't laughed like that in a long time.
ReplyDeleteIt's a joke! Of course it's not even a question between both OTP
ReplyDeleteBoth? LOL when did that happen?
ReplyDeletegracias.
ReplyDeleteI feel like you're trying to make a point here...
ReplyDeleteolicity shipper poll.
ReplyDeleteBrings out the inner troll in people.
ReplyDeleteagreed as long as it is not over done, case and point TVD Delena. I dont like the fact that with in 3 seasons Oliver has had 4 major loves. Laurel, Sara, Shadow and Felicity, pour bastard can't catch a break.
ReplyDeleteDe nada!! Hahahaha I'm kidding Your welcome!!
ReplyDeleteDon't speak spanish, at all??
Nope. I speak Malayalam, Hindi, English and a little bit of Arabic. I am from India.
ReplyDeleteIf so, he forgot the "This week's episode is THE BEST ONE YET! But the one next week will be EVEN BETTER AND MORE EPIC! And the one the week after..." etc. part.
ReplyDeleteNo need to be rude. Just because you aren't interested in the topic doesn't mean you have to put down others who like that type of stuff. Not cool,.
ReplyDeleteIt's just a clickbait article to generate a storm of fecal matter... i love Olicity. These polls are pointless and only generate hate on a fandom. There's no need to make this pool. Everybody knows what the outcome will be.
ReplyDeleteAlso, i was being sarcastic.
ReplyDeleteWell, tbh it only "took over" because of the way they approached Ra's and their choice of thus year's Oliver's persobal struggle.
ReplyDeleteRa's wasn't a menacing presence as Slade was(first using Brother Blood) so they needed to use something to make the show serialized.
ReplyDeleteWhat I don't understand is if you don't like something why click on a link which discusses the thing you loathe? This is not a poll asking about the merits of shipping? This is a poll comparing two romantic pairing. Why come here at all if you can't stand romance in this show. It is so annoying. There is a ton of other threads where we discuss a bunch of different stuff.
ReplyDeleteActually you had multiple obnoxious comments (like your one about the poll being moronic), so I was referring to all your comments. I'm pretty sure that was a take-at-face-value comment. rather than witty humour.
ReplyDeleteWell, the pool is moronic. What's the point other than clickbait? Enlighten me, please! Because this only generates hate. People that don't even comment in the weekly episodes came here to trash the ships.
ReplyDeleteAlso, i was joking. I always joke about the torches and the shotgun thing was because of a Simpsons episode. That's who i am and that's how i joke. ODA knows this...
I don't get why you are so fiercely defending this pool. Did you paid someone to submitt it? Did your cousin submitted it?
You have to be kidding me :O who is this 7%
ReplyDeleteRaylicity. Though I'd pretty much say anything but Olicity. At least Raylicity make a good couple, they are so goofy and they just fit...if only it wasn't doomed thanks to his departure, I'd rather not have to endure more of whatever retconning they'll continue to add just to make Olicity happen.
ReplyDelete1- wtf does her signing habits have to do with anything? This isn't a poll about whether or not EBR is a nice person. Stay on topic.
ReplyDelete2- The writers, like ANYONE with the CW, will do what they are told to do BY THE CW.... including, and not exclusive to, deflecting complaints/blame to whatever the CW does want being seen as their "problem" with fans, as opposed to what the real problems are, which fall in line with the last place networks archaic failing motto "write for tween girls and tween girls only".
