  1. Super strong outing for Madam Secretary tonight!

I've been very casual with my watching of Brooklyn 9-9 but I caught this week's episode (because... you know... Bradley...) and I quite enjoyed it!

What a grim ending. That build-up at the end was unexpectedly intense and though it was inevitable, I wish it didn't lead to where it did. It's devastating having a hopeful Brett head towards the end of his marriage.

  3. I don't think they will. Even if Brett doesn't catch her, Michelle's guilt will ear her alive and she'll eventually tell the truth. I was rooting for them initially but I'm starting to think they were never right for each other.

  4. Both are equally guilty of distancing themselves from each other. I think, the show has done this quite well in showing that they're both at fault for destroying their marriage. In the initial episodes we saw how Michelle had been closed off (physically and emotionally) after the birth of their second child and as the episodes progressed we saw Brett getting further and further away from Michelle. One glaring example: When they start going for therapy - Michelle wants to deal with it by gathering her friends for some kickball while Brett just wants to be alone and read a book. Neither make an effort to reach a compromise instead Michelle insists on having kickball and Brett ends up grimacing and fake smiling through it.

But in the end, I will blame David. He knew what Brett and Michelle were going through, yet he still acted like a slimeball.

  5. Agree on both accounts. They were bad at communicating what they wanted and when they did, it mostly didn't involve the other person. A lot of times they were talking at each other instead of to each other.

And David is the worst. Talking about respecting Michelle's marriage... And then getting it on with her.
