Tom Call to Liz was a great momment as well for the Blacklist.
ReplyDeleteIs The Blacklist any good?
ReplyDeleteEh. Spader makes it enjoyable. Without him, it'd be pretty awful I think.
ReplyDeleteThat Banshee scene was so unbelievably epic. Kai Proctor has returned!
ReplyDeleteI feel that The Blacklist moment was pretty important for the Red/Liz relationship. Think about it: if Lizzy was in that room, then she heard his last word (her name). And since he didn't know she was there, as evidenced by the surprise in his face when he turned around, then she's seen proof that he really does care about her, even near his death.
ReplyDeleteThe promos weren't really appealing to me. If I get any time I will try the first episode to see if I like it.
ReplyDeleteI only managed to watch the first 4 episodes of Banshee. It wasn't really my cup of tea.
ReplyDeleteGreat list, Robert ;-)
ReplyDeleteHonorable Mention:
Justified. the amazing scene(s) between Ava and Boyd. When he was poking himself in the forehead and you could hear it. Boyd loves that woman irrationally. We shall see, I guess
Ah, that's a shame.
ReplyDeleteI have enjoyed watching the grief processes that Kai & Lucas have gone through. They have been very different to each other, yet both just as destructive to themselves and those around them. Both Job and Rebecca also could tell what was happening, but neither could make them see sense or ultimately do the right thing to stop the shit that's rained down on both groups because of it.
ReplyDeleteIt's not for everyone unfortunately. There's a lot of sex (esp early on) and violence going on, but there is also a lot of bloody good writing and acting there too.
ReplyDeleteI'm used to all the sex and violence (Game of Thrones, True Detective). With Banshee I just couldn't get invested into what was happening or the characters.
ReplyDeleteOh yeah, I've loved seeing the grief from them both. But it gave me so much pleasure to see Kai get back to his ways.
ReplyDeleteOh yeah definitely. I'm glad he got to reconnect with Leah again before her death, but I'm even gladder that he now recognises that it wasn't god calling him back to the church now she's gone. Bad ass Proctor is back baby! :)
ReplyDeleteAhh, that is a shame. I love - well love to hate really, most of them are arseholes at the end of the day, lol - most of them.
ReplyDeleteYep. Kai's had some really nice emotional moments this year, which has been great for him as a character and for us watching. But that's behind us now and the REAL Kai is back, and it's awesome.
ReplyDeleteThe Carol's Scene in TWD it was amazing...
ReplyDeleteIt was, it gave me chills.
ReplyDeleteThat Suits scene...my goodness. The atmosphere was adorable, yet SO heartbreaking. And the song playing in the background is perfection.
ReplyDeleteBanshee isn't really for everyone, but I Loooooooove the show, and there are so many good actors (there are not so famous at least for me). Hoon Lee is one of them, and it's impossible compare his character JOB with any other on TV currently also Antony Star as fake Lucas Hood. ( Sandi do you know if we'll know his real name in this season finale?)
ReplyDeleteBanshee - Job meet " Hood" ( I don't know how to call him :p)
ReplyDeleteAFAIK we're not ever going to know his real name.
