    Damon doesn't have many options. Kai is the only one with any significant Gemini juice who also knows about the prisons. Jo may know a few things but she's weak and Liv is MIA.

    The season 5 level of bad was a very bad level of bad.LOL I mean It was kinda Damon at his worst, showing there's a very very thin line between his good side and bad side. It erased almost 4 seasons of development.
    Though I admit, I loved seeing him in those episodes. I honestly cheered when he killed Aaron and Wes.

    Imo, Damon totally is, or at least comfortable enough with his sexuality to get drunk and go for it, should an opportunity arise. There's enough wiggle room in this crack ship to allow for at least a dozen of snarky smut fics.

    Because Enzo killed Ivy out of his hatred towards Stefan. And the fandom love Stefan.
    Honestly, I wasn't annoyed when Ivy died. Again, another loos end saying goodbye to the show. Getting killed with some serious vampire action but the move was a dick move. Totally. Still, that doesn't mean I didn't enjoy the vampire action.

    The killing of generations was brutal, true. I'm a fan of bad Damon, but even I thought "Dude, that's kinda... excessive". But the Wes scene was hilarious, as were Elena interactions.

    My sole remaining wish for Damon's character is that from time to time the writers show us that he still thinks nothing of killing, he only doesn't do it for self-serving reasons. Coupled with being selfless in relationships, that's my limit on the Damon development I'm willing to be a fan of.

    Human Ivy's death was good, but vampire Ivy's death pissed me off - they spent so much time on her just to kill her off without any consequences or meaning. At least with Aaron, there was some weight to the scene. Here? Nada.

    He's a series regular in Cordon.If it gets picked up,you can safely assume,it's for the standard 22 episode.They barely get the time to shoot the episodes of a single show in time.They couldn't accommodate TVD/TO crossover once this season(no,tatia doesn't count)!

    Is it really because they couldn't accommodate a crossover or because it wouldn't make sense plot wise? The only cross over people wanted to see was Klaus/Caroline and that would clash with Steroline.

    Plus, I still haven't caught up on TO, but it seems to me that the mythologies of the shows are becoming incompatible with each other. It's difficult to do a cross over if the shows are not One episode = One plot.

    But hen what's the point of a seperate spin-off in the long run if you're not gonna take advantage of a cross-over?Just look how Arrow benefited after the cross-over!
    As for the plot-there are enough problems in mystic falls which the originals can solve within a matter of seconds.Why doesn't they ask for help.Stefan had such profound relationship with klaus-what about that?What about rebekah-matt?

    I thought Claire Holt has left TO? And the fact that the originals could solve some problems IS the problem - it's much more difficult to develop plot lines if a phone call could resolve it. That's why I think they don't do it and started pretending the originals never existed on TVD.

He's annoying, he's boring, iI'm literally hating his accent. His neediness for Caroline is ridiculous. His friendship with Damon is absolute shit. And the fact that he tries to take Alaric's place is a no no. Then of course he goes after Matty blue blue. That's also a no no, in my book. I can't standdddd Enzo! I could go on and on. I hate him on an increasingly high level. I can't wait til he's gone off this show.

    I definitely agree that there's a very thin line between Damon's good and bad sides, but I can't agree that his behavior in Season 5 erased his development in the previous 4 Seasons. I believe there's a fine line between good and evil in everyone. Damon may not kill indiscriminately anymore, but he's still capable of killing with a purpose and he doesn't think it's wrong. I wasn't surprised that he was continuing to kill the Whitmore family. We consider that wrong but given Damon's personality he will probably never be able to totally play by human rules.

    On the other hand, it's been a long time since Damon lay down on a deserted road to trap unsuspecting motorists; he's developed a few friendships; his relationship with Stefan is somewhat improved; he's practically a pillar of the town which he no longer wants to destroy; and he doesn't lash out by killing when he gets hurt, angry, or things don't go his way, like Elena's good memories and her love for him being erased. So, I think his development in the previous Seasons is mostly intact.

    Me too, and me either! After Marcos, I think Liam is the worst male casting choice they've ever made on TVD, and the worst character. I know he's disposable, just thrown in originally to tempt Elena, but the way whatever-his-name-is played him he was so one-dimensional. On the other hand, if Liam is supposed to be boring, the actor succeeded And he's back?! He's one character I wouldn't mind saying R.I.P. to.

    I totally agree!! I think we weren't supposed to care much about Liam so they didn't really focus on his character.. which made him unbearably boring. But the actor was bad too! I rewatched 6x08 (thanksgiving episode) a few days ago and when Jo collapses Liam makes the most hilarious faces. I get it.. he was supposed to be shocked but still.. that was just bad acting hahaha

    The time she was in the prison world doesn't count because people don't age there. He is just counting the time between her "death" (1858) and the time she was sent into a prison world (1902)
