14:27 - The First BATMAN V SUPERMAN Trailer Is Attached to MAD MAX: FURY ROAD
Ever since Warner Bros. announced its Man of Steel follow-up, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, I’ve been waiting to see a trailer. Obviously those at Comic-Con last year got to see a tiny bit of footage from the film, but WB never officially released it, so most people have yet to see anything. Which brings me to today’s update.
After speaking with a few sources, I’m happy to report the first Batman v Superman trailer is on the cusp of being released. I’m told it’s absolutely attached to all copies of Mad Max: Fury Road, which is an obvious place for it to debut seeing as how Mad Max is WB’s first big movie of the summer. What I’ve heard is that Warners isn’t sure it wants to release the trailer while Avengers: Age of Ultron is destroying records and driving all social traffic during the end of April and early May. If they wait until the weekend Mad Max opens on May 15th, Avengers will have already been out for two weeks and they can take over the conversation at a time when everyone is ready to talk about Batman and Superman. The bottom line is: we will absolutely have seen the first Batman v Superman trailer by May 15th.

Last month, the actor flew to the U.S. following an injury he suffered in Queensland, though not while shooting.
Filming on “Pirates 5″ had continued on scenes not involving Depp, but on Thursday, some 200 crew were told that they would not be working for the next two weeks.

21:48 - The 100 - Kira Snyder on Clarke’s bisexuality and if Lexa will be back for Season 3
Kira Snyder is a writer and co-producer of The CW’s dystopian hit, The 100, and this past weekend she spoke on a panel at Binder Con in Los Angeles as part of a panel called The Revolution Will be Televised, Kinda: The Changing TV World is a Win for Writers. I was able to grab her after the spirited discussion about writing content for web and television to ask a few questions about Clarke (Eliza Taylor) and Lexa (Alycia Debnam-Carey), the 100 pairing we affectionally refer to as Clexa, and what we can expect for Season 3.
AfterEllen.com: Were you part of creating the Clexa relationship?
Kira Snyder: The stories are all collaboratively written. Lexa was introduced in the episode that I wrote. It just happened to be where I came up in the writing assignment series. It was something we talked about and [creator] Jason Rothenberg was supportive of and the CW was supportive of so we’re really happy to have that storyline and really gratified that it’s sparked the fan response and press response that it has. It just goes down to the issues of representation and seeing [bisexual] people on screen. But that’ something I’m very pleased to be involved with.
AE: Do you see Clarke as bisexual?
KS: I believe, yes, officially Clarke is bisexual.
AE: That’s so rare—to have the female lead being bisexual.
KS: And that not being her defining characteristic, it’s just something we also wanted to do and have so it’s not, “Oh my gosh! It’s a big revelation!” It’s like, she loves boys, she love girls, and she wasn’t ready to be with anybody at that point. The way in which that unfolded was something we were committed to treating responsibly in a grounded kind of way.

Scott Eastwood has joined the cast of Warner Bros’ “Suicide Squad,” an individual with knowledge of the project told TheWrap Tuesday.
His role is being kept under wraps, though he is said to be playing a DC comic book character named Steve Trevor, who fans recognize as the main love interest of Wonder Woman from the comic books, according to Latino Review.
There’s no word yet if Gal Gadot, who plays Wonder Woman in this shared cinematic universe, will appear in “Suicide Squad,” but Eastwood is joining a cast that includes Will Smith, Margot Robbie, Jared Leto and Cara Delevingne.

Every day 100's of items are submitted to us and we don't always have the time to make separate posts for the news and/or there is so much that it would quickly push all other items off the homepage. So a result we've come up with the idea of the Newsreel, which will feature smaller shows and news items as they happen. There will be a new Newsreel each day, and as news is added we will update the post and and push it back to the top of the site so that you can see that new items have been added. A tweet of the item will also be sent to our @SpoilerTV account. New Items will be listed at the top of the article. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! Sick!
ReplyDeleteScott Eastwood and Adewale joining Suicide Squad! Amazing! Can't wait for the movie. This makes me even more excited.
On The 100, if Lexa comes back, I really want her to have to pay for betraying Clarke. I hope we get to see that.
ReplyDeleteI hope they do bring Lexa back and I do hope Bellamy and Clarke don't see each other during season 3 like Jason hinted at. Scheduling shouldn't be an issue since FTWD is only 6 episodes and is already filming (I think) and The 100 doesn't start filming until July.
ReplyDeleteEnough with this Clexa melodrama nonsense, just stop!
ReplyDeleteMaybe for the couple of episodes but i really don't think clark & bellamy won't cross paths for an entire season!
ReplyDeleteIt wouldn't surprise me with Jason. I do think it will be a lot more than just a couple of episodes though, half a season maybe.
ReplyDeleteI take it you're a Bellarke shipper lol
ReplyDeleteYeah! I hope Clarke gives her a good tongue lashing! ;)
ReplyDeleteNot feeling that so much. Having Clarke turn out to be bisexual was cool, and I liked how the show handled it so matter-of-factly, and she and Lexa had chemistry. But while I'd love to have Lexa back, I hope it's not for romantic reasons. I can absolutely see Clarke being able to understand why Lexa made the deal she did, and even forgiving her for it, but Clarke killed a whole mountain full of people to save her own. How could she justify being in a relationship with someone who could betray them again? Would she really take that risk, after everything she's sacrificed, now that she has the evidence of what trusting Lexa like that can result in? I think it would be seriously out of character, so while I'd enjoy watching them try to work together again for whatever reason, I hope that's the extent of it.
ReplyDeleteAs for Clarke and Bellamy, goodness, I hope not. Taylor and Morley are fantastic together, so while I can see them not meeting up for maybe five or six episodes again, like this season, I hope it's not longer. I'm not pushing for them to be in a romantic relationship, but I do want my co-leaders to share more than a couple scenes in a half dozen episodes and a few radio calls. Those two actors have a great dynamic, and it would be a shame if it got put on hold again for too long next season. Especially a whole season. That would suck.
I've never denied i'm a bellarke shipper,so why hide it now?
ReplyDeleteWhen is Comic Con? That is when I'm sure we'll hear one way or another on rather Alycia will be returning to The 100.
ReplyDeleteI don't ship Clexa I just don't want them to leave it like they did. I think it's more likely Clarke and Bellamy won't see each other for half the season at most, I too love their chemistry on screen together, but as a friendship, not romantically. Their friendship is my favourite on TV and just once I want a friendship to stay exactly that, a friendship.
ReplyDeleteI don't follow him on twitter,so i really have no idea. That being said, the way he have handled the show so far,i'm more than satisfied. It's been an incredible journey so far & clexa or no clexa,i look forward to watching it with equal interest either way!Storyline always is a priority to me & as long as they deliver on that front,i'm good.
ReplyDeleteYou're underestimating the writers.
ReplyDeleteStory is important to me too but shippers tend to ruin it for me regardless of weather or not they influence the writing (which thank god they don't in The 100's case). Teen Wolf being the perfect example, a top 5 show of mine during seasons 1,2 and 3A and now I can't stand the show, or even some of it's actors because it just reminds me of it all :/
ReplyDeleteFortunately The 100 still has plenty of fans who focus on the story, I love reading their theories and analysis on tumblr :) And I love that Jason and the writers are so heavily involved with the fans yet don't let them influence the show at all.
Have you read the books? Kass Morgan is such a hardcore bellarke shipper!
ReplyDeleteAugust I think.
ReplyDeleteFair enough. Like I said, I'd definitely love to have Lexa back. As for Bellarke, I'm fine either way. I think the show handles relationships well, the chemistry is there, and with Lexa more or less out of the picture romantically, I just don't see anyone else that works for either of them, at least unless they introduce someone else (although neither of them ending up with anyone is always an option). I think it could be written well and if it is, I'd be all for it. That being said, their friendship is wonderful, too, and I'm perfectly happy to keep it as is. So long as they have more scenes together next season either way, I'm happy.
ReplyDeleteHow so?
ReplyDeleteFor me,it's TVD.It was perfect until one day it wasn't-shippers ruined the show along with Julie & Caroline.I dropped Teen wolf for good after last season.I'll check it out if it becomes good again which i doubt very much!
ReplyDeleteI haven't and don't plan to.I would like to get surprised on a weekly basis-if i read the books, that won't happen most probably.
ReplyDeleteI dropped TVD in early season 4 and I'm definitely never going back to Teen Wolf. I started watching TVD S6 for Kai though, I loved what I saw on tumblr. I didn't bother catching up on S4 or 5 :/ It's gotten really bad again though, I hated the last episode.
ReplyDeleteI haven't read the books but I think they are entirely different from the show and very romance heavy.
ReplyDeleteWhy?Last episode was fantastic.TBH,this entire season has been very good!
ReplyDeleteThey made me hate Bonnie, and there was too much Delena (I can't stand delena), they (maybe) killed Kai and dark Steroline was a letdown, so I didn't like pretty much all of it :P I found the Stefan and Damon's mother story boring too
ReplyDelete1.Bonnie finally stopped taking crap from everyone and stood up for herself for the first time in this entire series.
ReplyDelete2.No delena romance like earlier seasons,so i'm good. They have a lot on their plate.
3.Kai is a horrible character,he was never gonna get a happy ending here in Mystic falls. That being daid,i still think his story is yet not finished.
4.Lily was great & Dark steroline was amazing & fun to watch.
Almost everyone loved this episode. You and i have a very different definition of good television seems like!
I'm all for Bonnie standing up for herself but they basically turned into old Kai, I got a complete psycho vibe off her.
ReplyDeleteKai is the reason I went back to the show and the main reason I've stuck with it, I love his character. I didn't think he was going to stay since he joined Cordon but he's no more of a bad person than Damon used to be and everyone gave him a chance when he didn't even ask for it and Kai did.
Damon came back too early but Bonnie was stuck there for a LONG time, cut her some slack-she's suffering from PTSD!
ReplyDeleteKai is a sociopath, damon never was.Chris wood portrayed this character brilliantly,no doubt but i have no sympathy for this character kai.I'm happy he's gone.
Everyone has different preferences,so do you and i & it's okay.I hated season 5B but this season has been great till date overall baring few flaws like Enzo's & matt-tyler track.
For me Kai being a sociopath makes it harder for me hate Bonnie more, that's a mental condition that can be helped, and which slightly subsided when he merged with Kai. I fast forward through the Enzo storyline scenes lol :P
ReplyDeleteOut of curiosity do watch The Originals? I dropped it pretty early in season one and was wondering what it's like now.
Ya,i watch TO.I watch mainly coz i love Elijah.I hate Klaus.Season 1 dropped in quality right after Rebekah left.Season 2 has been decent but at this moment,TVD is much better than TO IMO.
ReplyDeleteI don't think Jason has something against Bellarke, he just doesn't want the ships to rule over the show, like with some other CW shows.
ReplyDeleteHe always says the show isn't about love but think he forgets that love is the ultimate motivation and is what is driving our characters.
Very well said!
ReplyDeletePlease, please, please, please bring Lexa back!!!
ReplyDeleteI am a big Clexa shipper, but beside from anything romanticlly, Lexa is such an amazing charakter and The 100 just wouldn´t be the same without her!
That said, I have no idea how to survive the next SIX MONTH! The hiatus is killing me!!!! I need answers, NOW! Like... Where the hell is Clarke going??? Since the alliance is broke, will the Grounder start to kill the Sky People again? How will Lexa react to Clarke´s "victory"? What’s left of this alliance of the twelve clans, that Lexa put together in order to defend themselves against Mount Weather, when Mount Weather is gone? Are those old animosities between, for instance, the Ice Nation and the Tri Kru are going to become a problem again? Will we see Echo again? Will we meet The Ice Queen? What will Bellamy do without Clarke? Who is in charge? What is Emerson going to do? Who is that Reaper Indra got so emotional about? Is Lincoln a Sky Person now? Will we ever see a Monty-Jasper high five? And and and... October! Please hurry your a** up!!!!!!!!
Beginning of July.
ReplyDeleteI hate Lexa, I was hoping she would die in the season 2 finale. Season 2 of the 100 was a big disappointment for me. I liked Season 1 when the show was more about the delinquents as a group. Having to watch Lexa again, is just one more reason not to tune in again. Sometimes I wish J.R. would not try so hard not to be a typical CW, he said numerous times that he is not a Bellarke fan, which is ok with me, I was never a Bellarke fan either, but killing Finn and introducing Lexa as love interest for Clarke did just not work for me.
ReplyDeleteIt annoys me that all the articles are about Romance. Plus Have you realised how many articles praise Lexa? She is a great character but they ignore Season 1 and more important characters. I have seen so many articles on how good the show is and explaining what is happening but not mentioning at all Bellamy, Raven, Finn or any of the adults. I don't get it.
ReplyDeleteCan we get an article about The 100 that is about what will happen in Season 3 without focusing on Clexa or Bellarke? I am a Bellarke Shipper but I want to know what will happen plot wise and not if a Romance will happen that is not what makes the show so incredible and just awesome...:/
ReplyDeleteI love the casting of Scott Eastwood as Steve Trevor.
ReplyDeleteI think he is still mad his favorite couple (Finn/Clarke) was an epic fail and the fans preferred Bellarke.
ReplyDeleteIf he wants he is doing a really poor job. Every interview and promotion is all about Clexa and only them. I wish we could get some info about the other characters.
ReplyDeleteClexa is just like Finn/Clarke only that worse. Finn's body wasn't even cold when they kiss. According to the writers timeline 12 days passed between Finn's death and the Clexa kiss. Talk about rushed.
ReplyDeleteAnd after the betrayal I just want Lexa to pay for what she did. I'm tired of the CW couples (especially in TVD) who do horrible things to each other but are "meant to be" for idiotic reasons.
I don't like Flarke or Clexa but Clarke loved Finn and that's canon. After Finn died I expected Clarke to focus on winning the fight against the MW and focus on what's important instead of kissing some girl 12 days after she killed Finn.
ReplyDeleteAlso after the betrayal Finn's death became pointless. I can't understand why Clarke would want to get involved with some who brought so much pain to her life and betrayed her trust like that.
Jason keeps saying this show isn't about romance but every interview is about Clexa except for some tiny mention of Bellarke here and there. Can we get something about the lead cast? I'm tired of Lexa. She is so overrated.
ReplyDeleteSame here great choice. Can't wait for his upcoming movie with Brit Robertson. He is a fine actor, love his screen presence and this will probably give him a part in the WW standalone movie. ^_^
ReplyDeleteYep, but Clexa did huge buzzz for the show and after the betrayal people are really interested to see if she'll come back. I hope we'll get info on the others as well.
ReplyDeleteHe is Diana's main love interest in the comics so him in the WW movie is a sure thing :)
ReplyDeleteThe buzz didn't help the ratings. The ratings actually started going down after 2x11.
ReplyDeleteThey put their money on the wrong "horse", definitely. I for once hope that Clexa won't be a huge part of season 3. Resolution yes but not to much focus.
ReplyDeleteI'm really pumped for the upcoming DC movies.
ReplyDeleteAgreed. The adults are totally sidelined in this show!
ReplyDeleteExactly. They already handled the Finn's death aftermath pretty badly I hope they at least resolve the Clexa stuff better.
ReplyDeleteI just want the show to focus on the delinquents again. Also they need to stop using romance for promotion all the time. It isn't doing the show any favors.
She is an interesting character but she is not a major character of the 100. I would like to know what will happen to Octavia, Raven, Jasper, Bellamy, Monty....everyone actually after being now at Camp Jaha and without a war to fight.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't be scared to pull 2 of Paige Turco's performances from last season for an Emmy reel but does she get praise for that? Nope. Clarke and Lexa get praised to heaven and back for a silly, out of nowhere, out of character and completely unrelated to the story, kiss. Because Clarke is suddenly bi. Sorry, that move only dropped Clarke to the bottom of my female character list. Lexa right off of it.
ReplyDeleteI have no problem with a female lead being a bi-sexual character but in Clarke's case this came out of nowhere, all of a sudden. You would think they will drop some hints in season 1 but it looks like this particular track was planned last minute to push for Clexa.I at least thought we would get a resolution of Lexa's character after the crap she pulled in the penultimate episode, but no-She didn't appear in the finale altogetehr!
ReplyDeleteAgreed. If it made sense to the story, strengthened the show or even elevated the plot, I'd have no problem with it. It was OOC and unnecessary. I'm still irritated by it when I read quotes and articles on The 100 and no one is talking about the kids, the adults, the amazing acting or even how great their costume designers are. It's nothing but Lexa and Clarke. I am done. I'll watch the show but I won't read anymore spoilers, articles or blogs on the show. I've unfollowed everyone that has anything to do with the show on Twitter. OTT, I know but it's better than being irritated every time I see the 100 hashtag.
ReplyDeleteI never followed anyone from the 100 cast & crew in the 1st place for this very reason!
ReplyDeleteI agree completely. I think Lexa being brought back has huge potential as far as the story. But the romance should be done & before anyone gets crazy yes I am a Bellarke shipper. But I am number one a Clarke lover haha.. she's my favorite character. I can totally see her understanding Lexa.. maybe even spending more time with her and learning more about the ground and what is exists out here. But any type of romance and relationship would be completely out of character. Not to mention the angst should not be added into the show it's so unnecessary. Even if Clarke wanted to pursue a romance with Lexa it would never work as long as Lexa's commander.. but again not to mention ooc for Clarke. I do think Clarke & Bellamy will be separated for a long while and I am more than okay with them never going romantic. But they have an extremely important relationship to the show that has been developing since the pilot. It would be a waste to keep them separated for the entire season.
ReplyDeleteHey, we finally agree on something :)) I could not have said it any better. I don't ship anybody on the show, but I liked Finn and I am sad that they wrote him off whether it was the writers response to the Finn hate in Season 1 or to shock the audience. Season 2 was more a ''rattle the audience'' show then about the delinquents as a group which at least was one core of season 1. And to me J.R. goes out of his way to keep Bellamy and Clarke apart, thats why Clarke's storyline seems forced and not logical.
ReplyDeleteI get what you mean. Luckily both Finn's death & Lexa's betrayal didn't cause ratings to drop but I get confused by Jason so much. It's quite obvious they played Clarke being in love with Finn till the very end so it would be this huge thing "girl kills her lover" when in fact it would have been just as impactful to see Clarke stabbing Finn & all the tears & all the screams even if she never loved him. I wouldn't say its the only reason but I'm sure they had the clexa kiss the episode before the betrayal because they think that also made it another omg moment when I still would've felt the sting & shock over the betrayal had Lexa never had feelings for Clarke. Love is part of the reason why people want to survive... I get that. But they have really handled everything poorly aside from Octavia/Lincoln.. Clarke/Bellamy/delinquent love for each other.. and the familial bonds between Blakes&Griffins. They absolutely do not need romance to make us feel things. I still would've cried watching Finn's death & I still would've thrown my remote seeing Clarke's shocked face from Lexa's betrayal.
ReplyDeleteJustified - I spy Shea Whigham! And the return of Bob,
ReplyDeleteOrphan Black - Love that short video about Art, I was delighted when he became part of Clone Club last season. Also that was the best trailer yet, actually saw more new footage than the other ones and it looks like Sarah's battle to save Helena is central to the season.
I think Jason dislikes Bellarke and probably blames them for the Flarke negative response instead of realizing the cheating and lying doomed the ship since day one. It was his writing that caused Flarke to fail not another ship.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree that it's stupid and forced to keep Bellarke apart when the actors work so well together. Also I'm tired of the group being separated and I'm tired of the grounders. I want this show to focus on the people who are in the opening credits not the random new characters.
I hope AMC only lets Alycia do one episode or this show will be the Clexa show in S3. We still know nothing about Monty, Jasper or Lincoln. Also I want to see more of Harper and Miller. Other characters need development and screentime.
ReplyDeleteJ.R. is walking a dangerous line, ratings are not that good and how will he get new viewers if the storyline doesn't evolve around the main characters or they die or get separated for so many episodes? The show doesn't have so many hard core viewers that it is independent of a logic storyline. Probably no show is, but Arrow and The Flash have the comic community behind them, The 100 is one of its kind on the CW without that. I never cared about any ship, I just wanted Finn to be alive. I was looking forward to him and Lincoln to interact more in Season 2, to explore what they started between the two in Season 1. But instead they came up with Lincoln's drug addiction, and sidelined him, too. Now I am routing for Murphy! And I not sure that is enough to tune in for Season 3.
ReplyDeleteMore Art on Orphan Black? Bring it! I've been hoping for some Beth/Art flashbacks since S1... fingers crossed we actually get one of those this year...
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't go to watch a movie just to see a new trailer, but Mad Max was already on my "to watch" list, so finally getting to see what BvsS:DoJ might be about could be a bit of a perk...
Patton on Battle Creek tonight! It's gonna be EPIC!
The trailer for Last Knights looked super campy but taking itself too seriously... I dunno what to make of that film yet...
Boys of '67B sounds like it might be interesting... if done right that is...
Suicide Squad is beginning to look very crowded....
