    Nice pic. I'm glad Mikael is coming back and that he will meet Freya. Quite interested to see how he'll cop with that.

    I'm not a fan of photos like these. They seem random for the sake of randomness, seemingly having nothing to do with the content of the show. That being said, this is still infinitely better than TVD group shots, which are always a disaster.

    Agree that they're infinitely better than TVD group pics but I like the such stylized portrayals. Sometimes there are subtleties hidden in them. For ex: In this one, Klaus and Michael sitting at opposite ends of the table, forever facing off against each other. Looks like Marcel has a white dagger in his hand - is it the one Kol and Davina enchanted to successfully dagger Klaus? DAvina, in the middle - the witch who could tip the scales either way etc.

    The photo isn't that random. The show is about family, so they are at a dinner table.
    Mikael hiding the white oak stake under the table is much his position in the show always lurking.
    Cami lighting a candle, a sign of hope, she currently keepa Hope safe and is the moral stand point of the show.
    Marcel playing with a knife always scheming and planning his next war.
    Klaus looking idiferent over confident cocky like he always portrays.
    Elijah by his brother being his brothers keeper his whole eternal life.
    Hayley the playful drinking vine showing her wolf and vamp side.
    Only Davina is completely random there just like in the show.

    Nice, but we've seen plenty of this photoshoot. I wish they'd make new cast pictures. They did last season mid-season time.

    This is my point. This is exactly what I'm talking about. There's no definite theme to the photo. Yeah, they're gathered around a table like every other Originals group photo. It's a hollow theme. Everyone brings their own interpretation to make sense of the randomness that permeates the whole thing.

    I wouldn't say randomness, more individuality. All these characters have their own path in this messy messy family.
    It is certainly hard to determine a theme with all of them. And this is just the 2nd photo around a table. That is the only shooting they did for the season.

    I'm so glad to see Mikael in this photo. It could just be because he'll be in the next episode, but I hope he sticks around. I like that Mikael follows some ancient warrior's code, and something said in Episode 116 makes me hope we find out what makes Mikael tick and if he's redeemable. I think all of the Originals need redemption in some way, including Elijah. I don't want to know how many people he's obviously maimed and killed, but I am burning with curiosity about what would happen if that red door opens.

    Yeah, Hayley was homicidal before she became a hybrid and that all got exaggerated. I don't care how she looks in this photo. I'm just waiting for her to turn on Klaus. That seems to be the direction things are headed. Nothing good can come from making Hayley a queen of super-wolves. I think Jackson will be the least of everyone's problems. This whole thing is giving me serious deja vu.

    I am glad Jackson was not in the picture. Haley turning on Klaus that does not surprise me at all. This picture is older its not brand new. I do like Haley but I dont know sometimes I have mixed feelings about her, but Elijah I always like and Klaus sometimes I like him and sometimes I cant stand him Dont like Mikel at all or Freya or Vincent. Davina I like sometimes and Cami I like.

    Cant stand Mikel. And I will always like Elijah. I hope that Red Door is closed. I like the good of Elijah I would like to see the bad side also one that wont take crap from Klaus and not listen to him and fight for what he wants. He is always putting what he wants on hold and being Klaus savior. I dont think Elijah is as near as Klaus is. And I thought Mikael was dead. All he wants to do is kill his children or Klaus for that matter. I dont know I like evil but not to evil Maybe Klaus will get rid of him at the end or maybe Elijah. Still waiting for Tatia to come back and the real story comes out.
