    It looks that way. He might've been the one hit by the gunshot. I don't know if he's dead though, that would be extremely dark. I think it's more plausible that his dad had enough after this and decided that they have to move away.

    I really loved the scene where Brandon was giving Jesus his driving lesson and venting to him, although a small party of me was really hoping the whole time they'd play "Jesus Take the Wheel" haha (maybe that would've been too much. The actual song they used, "Make This Leap" by The Hunts was great, but I still immaturely laugh to myself at the thought of it).
