  1. Is this really a first look? He's already appeared in the show as Reverse Flash.

  2. Probably the first unblurry look. ;)

  3. Looking good! Should be quite the blockbuster next week!

  4. let's call it a "first look after identity being revealed"

    ReplyDelete
  5. I seriously need an answer. Why and how are his eyes glowing.

    ReplyDelete
  6. This is tge first "promotional" look.

    ReplyDelete
  7. They glow because Wells is connected to the corrupted version of the Speedforce. The Negative Speedforce. It's why his lightning is red as well. Basically when Speedsters tap into the Speedforce for power and accelerate and run at fast speeds their eyes glow yellow if they're using the Speedforce or red if using the Negative Speedforce (like how when Barry broke the sound barrier his eyes had yellow lightning in them).

  8. And when he takes his mask off he disconnects from the speedforce?

    ReplyDelete
  9. No, he just stops vibrating at a high speed and consciously taping into it.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Hmmmm, that makes sense. Thanks.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Yeah it's most likely Eddie or (maybe) descendent Eobard.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Can't wait,i love this show!

    ReplyDelete
  13. I really don't want him to be Slade 2.0.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Theyre promoting it as 'reverse flash is coming' which doesn't seem like it's wells, since he's been there. It sounds like they're saying the original RF is coming. Possibly end of season Eddie will become the first reverse flash.

  15. What do you mean by corrupted speedforce?

    ReplyDelete
  16. So when Barry normally runs at high speed he is not taping into speed force. Only when he does the special stuff like running faster then sound or vibrating through walls?

    ReplyDelete
  17. I think Barry is different. He's not unstable like Wells. But I have no idea why.

    ReplyDelete
  18. It's not corrupted. It's the opposite of the normal or "positive" speed force. So the one Wells has an access to is the negative form of the speed force. Positive and Negative. Negative speed force needs to consume the Positive speed force to exist.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Barry is connected to the speed force all the time. In his sleep, awake, or hibernation of any kind. The more he runs, the more access he has to the speed force.

    ReplyDelete
  20. So Wells needs to consume Barry's energy?

    ReplyDelete
  21. So only when he access Speed Force in a heightened form his eyes glow? I hope they explain speed force and its working on this show. Its really fascinating.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Another question. In the comics does Reverse Flash engineers himself to be the opposite of The Flash or he just happens to be like that because of an event like particle accelerator explosion?

    ReplyDelete
  23. No problem. So the Negative Speed force was started in the future by Eobard Thawne. This is all according to the comics. So the story in the TV series will be different. Plus even in the comics speed force hasn't been explained full yet.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Lol, well i don't know who or what Farooq is, but in its simplest explanation every step Barry or anyone who has an access to the Positive speed force takes, allows the Negative Speed force to be generated and then a host is associated to it like in this instance, Harrison Wells, who is a host to the Negative Speed force, thus any Positive speed force user touches the host will have its positive speed force consumed by the host. Again, speed force hasn't been explained in its entirety in the comics, so its an incomplete picture.

    ReplyDelete
  25. So, in the comics, I haven't seen much or actually rarely seen Barry having eyes glow yellow. Last 10 years, Eobard Thawne has had the red eyes, as before those years, he has blue eyes. Might be an effect from the Negative, but hasn't been explained.

  26. I am always fascinated by the extend of Flash mythology. So many speedsters so many stories. This is one great comic book character. I guess Eddie in this show will also have something huge to do regarding the Reverse Flash.

    ReplyDelete
  27. He's the metahuman from episode 7.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Somewhat like that, but mainly the negative speed force users don't, since they need positive speed force user. Remove too much and Positive speed force user much die or something to that extend (haven't seen it in the comics, hypothesis, lol.) Thus, they are kept alive, which in turn ensures the Negative users that the Positive users will use their speed force. Positive feeds Negative by how much and how frequently the Positive users uses their speed force.

    ReplyDelete
  29. I see, I see. That's very intriguing. Thanks :)

    ReplyDelete
  30. That's why he needed Barry to increase his power i guess.

    ReplyDelete
  31. I don't think so, maybe there's more than one Reverse Flash but Wells is definetelly one of them, if you think about it Well's been pushing Barry to increase his speed and power all season and judging from what Graydon and Showfreak said he needs a more powerful Barry in order to steal his powers.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Lets be serious here and say that is not Tom Cavanagh in the pic lol. Bc one the eyes are glowing red so is impossible to tell if it is him or not and secondly you can clearly see it not him lol. The chin features doesnt line up with tom lol

    ReplyDelete
  33. I'm not sure why he's so invested in Barry's powers but I actually think that he cares about Barry and he is trying to save the future. He's still shady and a killer though.

Cool profile pic :) I miss Fringe :(

    ReplyDelete
  34. holy cow WOW. Aww pics love triangle too

    ReplyDelete
  35. Idk i guess its possible, it would be a great twist but like you said he's a very shady character and there's definetelly more to his agenda.

Thx i keep trying to change it but i can't let September go xD

    ReplyDelete
  36. He looks awesome and badass!

    ReplyDelete
  37. I agree, i do think he's not a complete villain, he did killed the general to protect metahumans(or so it seems) but there's still the fact that in order to be stronger he needs to steal Barry's powers and i'm guessing it's not goign to be good for Barry.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Also he killed staggs to protect barry. The fact he will be on the run proves to me he will come clean when the bright suit flash appears lol. I still think Tom is future barry i mean dont you see how they both look alike lol

    ReplyDelete
  39. He also killed Stagg in episode 2.

    ReplyDelete
  40. What do you think happened to him after the timeline changed?

    ReplyDelete
  41. To make it Thawne corrupted the Speedforce, and it's like a cancer.

    ReplyDelete
  42. And then everything got rebooted and the speedforce got more messed with.

    ReplyDelete
  43. The speed force comics wise is never fully elaborated on and actually was originally introduced during Wally's Flash run. So it's weird detail wise.

    ReplyDelete
  44. If it's done in a way I think it will given Barry's and his friendship, his new worship of the Flash, and his background he'll become the Reverse-Flash to make Barry better. Like Zoom with Wally West. But I love the idea of him being a villain.

    ReplyDelete
  45. I just assumed it was a negative speed force thing given in Rebirth the red lightning was caused by it, and that's when he started having red eyes.

    ReplyDelete
  46. you mean September? xD

    ReplyDelete
  47. I hope the they use the show to explain speed force in a believable way. I am really fascinated by it. So they even get trapped in the speed force. So many different iterations of Flash in the comics.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Well since in the finale they rewrote the future that means the Observer were never born/created and September disapperead with them. In the end he sacrificed everything to save his son, just like Walter did.

    ReplyDelete
  49. But has his identity really being revealed? :)
