Please let one of the next sneak peeks feature Harrison Wells! Literally can not wait for each new episode, so excited to find out what happens next!!!
Lol! It was terrifying! I was 5 or 6 and I actually remember watching it and how scared I was! I couldn't go into the bathroom alone for weeks afterwards, before going I would make my mom check behind the shower curtain! It's quite funny in retrospect, but it wasn't back then, lol. Still, I could never get over my dislike of clowns after watching it. Thanks Stephen King!
I'm not sure I'd find it scary now as an adult, but for kids here it was sort of a right of passage, like Poltergeist, although I think that was older because I remember seeing it on tv as a little kid, not renting it. You should definitely check it out and get back to me. As a matter of fact I probably will just to see if it's still scary ;-)
Lmaoooo you poor thing. I'm not gonna lie, I used to check the drains!! Every time I went in there I had to check. But I never had a fear of clowns, but that was one scary ass clown. Lol I can STILL remember watching it for the first time, like it was yesterday. Stephen King is the man. I'll give him that. I played a meannnnn trick on my cousin though. After he saw it for the first time. years ago. Let's just say my punishment was well deserved. LOL
Yeah but you're an adult now. It may not scare you. If you grew up with it, you'd appreciate it. But I can't believe you've never seen it. It's a classic. You can't go through life w/o watching that movie at least once. It's a crime. Lol
LOL! I knew I couldn't be the only one! I have several clown anecdotes thanks to that movie, it really traumatized me... Your poor cousin! What did you do to him?! It looks like you enjoyed it, lol!
Was it remastered as Blu-ray? I'm so getting it, although I have to admit I didn't find the trailer scary... Maybe I shouldn't ruin my perception of the movie...
Hahahaha, i was about 13. And he was around 7. And i think it was the same year he watched the movie. So that summer i remember he drove me crazy! And i went under his bed, before he went to sleep. And he had this little night light. LOL sooo i put on my Pennywise voice, and I went, "Hey, hey Timmy" and i'm saying this from underneath the bed and I had a Pee-wee Herman doll. So i made it seem like this doll was grabbing his arm from underneath the bed. LOL and i continued, "We all float, and when you're down here with us you float too." So then i pushed two balloons i had blew up from underneath the bed. And he ran out the bedroom sooo fast, Yelling Grandma grandma!!! hahahaha I got my ass beat so badly. lmaoooo Aww man those were good times.
Idk, could've been. I have it on DVD. I love the movie. But it wasn't the one that traumatized me. It was A Nightmare on Elm Street that did it for me. I lovedd horror movies, and Freddy, for some reason i couldn't stay away from him. I had nightmares, everyday, for three years. He's the reason i'm a livid dreamer and an insomniac til this day. I kid you not.
I could only watch half of the first movie, I couldn't watch beyond that scene where he kills the girl by like scratching her from the inside... I still remember her wriggling up the walls and through the roof. I had a friend whose two older brothers were so obsessed with the movie they made a glove/hand just like Freddie's. They had hanging on their bedroom wall, and every time I stayed overnight they'd tried to spook me with it. They obviously succeeded, every time, Lol!
When we were young the town I lived had one video shop which provided English movies. So a lot of them went between the cracks. Now I am watching a whole lot of old movies to complete my american pop culture education LOL. The trailer looks awesome for an old movie. I will definitely watch it.
No, not kidding, about the original. I did watch the remake were Katie Cassidy gets slaughtered in a similar fashion. I don't know if it was Roonie Mara or Thomas Dekker, or what, but I didn't find the remake scary at all.
"Now i'm watching a whole lot of old movies to complete my american pop culture education" Lmaoooo. I like that. Very well put. Lmk when you do. I'm excited for you. But watch with an open mind, it's not 1990 anymore. lol
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
The spray paint job on that door is a nice touch.
ReplyDeleteThat's it? Nothing happened. = /
ReplyDeleteNice
ReplyDeleteUgh. Hollywood have made me hate clowns. I used to adore them.
ReplyDeleteLucky you! my cousin made me watch IT when I was 5 or 6 and I could never see clowns the same way again...

ReplyDeleteWe used to go to circus when we were young. I loved the clowns. Then I became older and discovered hollywood movies and tv shows.
ReplyDeleteIT - Isn't that a mini series in the 90's?
Now I have to see this movie. I am not much of a horror person. I get scared easily when watching a movie LOL.
