  1. listen to Zoom (God it makes me sick calling him that!!!!) Barry, you'll create a Butterfly Effect

  2. Maybe the funniest thing an old friend ever said to me was during a semi-serious conversation about the possibility and ramifications of time travel. He said:

"When you start f*cking with time and space you end up with apes running the planet."

He was high. Obviously. Damned if I don't agree with him though. Time travel is bad news. All hail Grodd!

  3. Can't remember which Christopher Reeve Superman where he reversed time? The Flash Producers went full mental on that.

    ReplyDelete
  4. Dammit! I really wish he didn't tell Wells about his time travel experience, but we all knew that would happen. Looks like Barry captured WW. That scratches off one of my questions as "answered" Good i can put that aside.

OK PEOPLE! Theories, questions, comments, concerns? Let's hear it? Let's do this! I'm hyped.

  5. What if one of the 'Butterfly Effects' Barry creates is Cisco becomes team Arrow's computer expert, The Flash gets that new girl around all the computers in the sizzle reel, and Felicity becomes the new computer expert for The Arrow/Flash spin-off.

  6. I'm honestly not sure if I should be pulling for The Flash to screw up Arrow's timeline or leave it alone.

    ReplyDelete
  7. it SHOULD screw it up, their connected universes

    ReplyDelete
  8. what? isn't it? he went around the globe and changed time

    ReplyDelete
  9. Leave it alone. I thought it would screw it up too. (as they're in the S.U.) but i believe itwas said a while ago, that the TL would only effect The Flash. I'll felt a little better about that. (yet slightly disappointed)

    ReplyDelete
  10. No it is. I just found that question hilarious and your answer even more so.

    ReplyDelete
  11. I suppose that's good to hear. I'd be concerned that the Arrow writers would take the opportunity to make things worse somehow.

    ReplyDelete
  12. I say 'screw' with it cause that way Robert, Moira, Tommy, Sara, and Shado could still be alive.

    ReplyDelete
  13. With this brief of an event, Id see how they might not change anything in Arrow. But go back any further, it would be strange if it did not.

    ReplyDelete
  14. I would've been interested to see where they take it. All these What ifs, to see if it would be better or worse (i can think of a few things that would be better). But then i thought, what's done is done, and i'm too tired to go through all the changes. = /

  15. You've just taken away Oliver's inspiration to become the Arrow along with the storylines for seasons two and three.

  17. Damn it ! Well back to the 'drawing' board' ;)

    ReplyDelete
  18. Hysterical, thats exactly what i thought after watching the episode

    ReplyDelete
  19. If it is a big change like Barry saving Nora all those years ago then of course it should change Arrow too. But if it is small change like two days this time its better to leave Arrow alone. That being said it might become confusing for sole Arrow viewers if the timeline suddenly changes. It can be done.

    ReplyDelete
  20. There is 8 episodes left of The Flash this season right ?
    ( 8 - Arrow, 6 - The Originals, and 6 - The Vampire Diaries, 9 - Supernatural )

    ReplyDelete
  21. Uh Oh. Barry looks so confused. Poor guy. Looks like he apprehends Martin at the precinct itself thus avoiding the tsunami and Cisco's death. Instead Cisco is in danger now because of Captain Cold and his sister. Nice.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Heavy sigh. smh. Nvm.

    ReplyDelete
  23. If something changes in The Flash, so should something noticeable in Arrow.
More like it Must! They are of the same planet and same Universe.
I'd be disappointed if its not.

Even if its only for 1 episode.

    ReplyDelete
  24. The change depends on how far Barry goes back, which I don't thing will be far, just a day or 2. And that much I feel like won't be enough to make a big change in another city.

Well... Good way of reversing time and not doing the same episode again. Though, I loved the Weather Wizard!!! A LOT!!!
But, maybe is some kind of "Cisco had to die at that moment" so they bring Cold to do the did, only Cold CAN be detained and will... If the writers and producers love their lives xD

  26. Question: Since Wells seems like the descendant of Eddie if someone kill Eddie now will Wells/Eobard go poof and disappear or will he get stuck permanently in this timeline.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Pérola Cardozo AlvesMarch 18, 2015 at 9:51 AM

This is something I've been thinking about since my last theory about him being Barry's bad half.
I think that if they kill Eddie... it would be some kind of reverse to zero point...
If Eddie dies, Wells doesn't exist, they don't fight in the past, his mama lives, he my never become an forensic scientist, he sure as hell won't be that close to Iris and Joey, there will be no Star Labs, no Caitlin, no Cisco, no Flash, Eddie will get married with Iris, since she and Barry don't really have much connection anymore, he'll hve kids and be happy, and, just like that, living, Eobard might be born, and he might get his powers anyway, just as much as Barry's descendant, and they might just get in some fight, that will make Eobard get back in time, to kill Barry for some crazy reason, and the other Flash coming after him, and he gets stuck in this reality again, becoming Dr. Wells and then everything restarts... And it gets on an infinite loop.
Or, in some crazy twist, in that new 25h century Eobard is the Flash, and the Barry's descendant is the Reverse Flash, and that's why he tries to kill Barry, to stop whatever Barry's descendant is capable of, and getting stuck in the past, and knowing that Allen's Reverse Flash is back in hi time line, he decides to grow Barry to be like him, The Flash, and makes Star Lab, to make him the Flash, believing that it might help him to reach the speed needed to him come back to his world, where, maybe, there is no Reverse Flash, but it turns out that Eddie doesn't die, and becomes this era Reverse Flash, and somehow we are back on the first timeline again, in a new loop *_______*
God, writing this post just made me dizzy!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  28. Oh no Barry! Please don't mess with time travel too much. There are going to be some major consequences if you do.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Alright I read the whole thing and I got a brain freeze. Girl what are you on? ;) Time travel is so confusing. If we consider things work as a loop it gets confusing. If we think linear and consider a new reality happens then how does the future person can be in the past. I need to read Harry Potter again to get the simplest explanation. LOL.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Pérola Cardozo AlvesMarch 18, 2015 at 2:23 PM

If I recall, all that happens in the future in a past time by timetravel already happened in the past, your past self just didn't know about it. Which is why one of the crucial rules of it is NOT BEING SEEN, specially by yourself, in any form. Cause it can cause a lot of confusion.
Now, if you get the time travel of Once Upon a Time, when Emma had a book to guide her (just like the "future news" of Dr. Wells) s long you get certain facts done, even in a different way, you don't mess with the timeline, you just add memories to those people.

    ReplyDelete
  31. I was thinking of this too. I think the easiest answer would be that he didn't exist. But i also think that's way too easy.

    ReplyDelete
  32. I loved what they did with WW effects, i didn't enjoy him as much as i wanted to. Which was a downright shame. I felt they should've did a lot more with him.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Hah, The Flash got to Weather Wizard quicker. I don't know what I think about though; it makes Mardon kind of a weak villain.

But it's ironic now how the previous timeline had West make mention of Snart and then he's in the new timeline.

    ReplyDelete
  34. That girl is the "Bug-Eyed Bandit".

    ReplyDelete
  35. Love that nickname.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Considering he had the power to wipe out an entire city with a tsunami I have to disagree.

    ReplyDelete
  37. More likely it would kill Eobard or alter his entire history. But it depends since Eobard right before the New 52 reboot was immune to paradoxes and time changes. But he doesn't appear to be here through.

    ReplyDelete
  38. He now knew Mardon was gonna be at the police station to kill Joe. He averted everything nut changed everything. He will also talk to Iris and tell her he knows "how she feels" about him, just like we saw the PaleyFest promo. That's why Eddie is mad at him.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Nop, he will remain there. But he will have no history.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Historical_MaterialistMarch 18, 2015 at 7:11 PM

If it helps: I chuckled too.

    ReplyDelete
  41. What about his memories and abilities? Will it remain?

    ReplyDelete
  42. But in Flash as soon as the future Barry came to the past point the other Barry kind of joined with him. Two Barry's did not exist together in this show.

    ReplyDelete
  43. I think they will close the WW chapter within the first 10 minutes of next episode. Maybe Barry will catch him at the precinct before he paralyses Captain Singh or before he reach the precinct. Everything else in the episode will be completely new.

    ReplyDelete
  44. yes, whatever happened, happened. He is already a physical person with it's own identity; but if he wanted to return to his timeline, he wouldn't exist. Would it be like an ilegal inmigrant without papers in America xD

    ReplyDelete
  45. Ehh....I guess it makes sense with the Wizard's Wand and everything, but still...I wanted more of a duke out fight between Flash and Weather Wizard. It's fine when it comes down to a villain that isn't so dynamic in Flash's rogue gallery like Prism, but WW is different.

    ReplyDelete
  46. A tsunami that never happens after all.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Yeah because time travel. Which apparently equals weak. So was Mardon supposed to be aware time travel was a thing? Of what? Because you can't call him weak for not knowing that, or not being able to see and react to Barry, given his speed and lack of knowledge that he was coming.

    ReplyDelete
  48. You're totally fine that Mardon doesn't even put up a fight next time around. Cool. Continues to explain your many other replies to me.

    ReplyDelete
  49. I'm not cool. I merely understand that hey Mardon's powers are weather manipulation not precognition. But hey I don't expect villains to be sues. But hey I guess the ability to summon a tsunami that could wipe out a city makes him weak. Besides Barry and Eobard he's the strongest individual on this show. This is why I can't debate with you. You jump to huge conclusions and are even more stubborn than I am. Then when I try and point out or give evidence all you do is berate it or stubbornly denial any validity. I wish you would actually back your arguments of this show up rather than just ignore, belittle or ad hominem me.

    ReplyDelete
  50. You really can't follow my comments if you're having this amount of trouble understanding this one little problem I have.

In timeline 'A', Mardon messes up Joe and creates a tsunami to destroy Central City.

In timeline 'B', Mardon will be captured by The Flash with apparent ease having known where he will be. And the sake of him being captured with ease and most likely showing nothing since the episode will focus on The Rogues, Weather Wizard in the episode will end up being as much of a threat as Prism since the showrunners didn't even care about showing how Arrow and Flash defeated him.

If you don't understand what I'm actually getting at, do not comment back.

    ReplyDelete
  51. My ignorance? (Sigh) Thank you, that's what I wanted. I see how why you're frustrated with that and don't like the outcome. And I get that a big battle will be cool. But I don't think that makes him weak (also I'm 100% sure they'll show it, he's a major Rogue, a pretty big name guest star for this show and the writers have gone out of their way to establish him as a villain- unlike Prism who was a crossover fight device at best). I don't think it makes him weak at all though because he can't control that, no one could prepare or foresee it and it's just not fair to the character to me to just say he's weak for that. If anything that only strengthens the established threat. Here's a guy so powerful he could destroy Central City with a tsunami, kill men easily with hail or summon lightning. The fact that Barry had to run so fast he went back in time and had to use future knowledge to beat him, only shows to me that Mardon even to Barry in a fair fight could be a real threat.

    ReplyDelete
  52. He'll come back eventually. He's a great villain and Liam is a huge actor to be used for just 2 episodes. He will end up joining Cold, Heat Wave and Golden Glider.

    ReplyDelete
  53. You see my frustrations, but you didn't even act like you even understood the past comments.

Sigh all you want to, but I will call it ignorance when you're simply trying to argue for the sake and finally NOW saying you understood me.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Yah, I see him joining The Rogues for sure.

I just wanted to see them duke out, especially when we saw Mardon's powers with him creating a freaking tsunami. TVLine said he will show up later this season though, so at least I'm not too disappointed anymore.

    ReplyDelete
  55. First, just to be clear if you're referring to the boxing and pants stuff, I admitted I was wrong and you were right on the boxing one several times and the pants I get your point, but I don't see it as a big deal especially if the writers didn't acknowledge it and honestly they're pants unless you're dealing with John Reese you don't need protection there, and it could've slowed him down. And the Park one, well you didn't even explain anything wrong with it or counter it or see my side you just shat on it. Go ahead, I'll keep calling you out on your ad hominem and deflection. Look we've both made mistakes, can we just go back to Weather Wizard and be debating nerds?

    ReplyDelete
  56. it IS his name, Eobard Thawne isn't just a Reverse Flash, he's Professor Zoom

    ReplyDelete
  57. for real? whoa and nice analogy LOL

    ReplyDelete
  58. and they want to have a The Rogues episode, like for Arrow they had the Suicide Squad episode

    ReplyDelete
  59. Professor Zoom is his nickname he got while working at the Flash museum in the 25th century (not kidding). Right you are though. I hope they call him that. I much prefer it.

    ReplyDelete
  60. To paraphrase Kent Brockman: I for one welcome our new Ape Overlord.

    ReplyDelete
  61. I say yes (not because I dislike this season) but because I do love me some good timeline f*cking with.

    ReplyDelete
  62. There are so many different forms and rules for time travel in the media. You cannot say which version Flash creators will take. Now another question: In this episode we saw both versions of Barry running together for a moment and then bam the merged into one. So in this universe is it possible for two Barry's or two Wells' to be in same time line or when one comes from future or past they replace the current version?

    ReplyDelete
  63. I don't know about that. I'm just saying how normally DC manages time travell. You should watch "Flashpoint", after all that's the story they're gathering inspiration for Season 1 of the show. It's a good story!

    ReplyDelete
  64. Watch Flashpoint or read Flashpoint? Is there an animated version of it? I would prefer watching than reading. But I am planning on reading it too.

    ReplyDelete
  65. I think The Rogues will end up taking over Suicide Squad because of the movie. Task Force X may be halted or cancelled or something by Waller.

    ReplyDelete
  66. Not an animated fan, but yes... there's an animated version.

    ReplyDelete
  67. I just want Barry to save Cisco and still get the girl (Iris)
