  2. omfg poor fox! :( wow to spoil a character that's been there since season 1 episode 1....I am so anxious and excited to see the next episode!!!!

  3. Octavia and Clarke fighting hurts.
    Fox being dead hurts.
And this is only a one minute clip.
    Yepp, I am gonna die.

  6. If all of this goes down and this is only a sneak peek, I can only imagine what the season finale will be like: pure emotional torture and so damn exhilarating. I just know that Jason is going to make us scream at the TV multiple times during the hour because of all the shocking things that will happen and I can't freaking wait for it.

  7. I feel for Clarke. But she had it coming.
And I have a feeling that Bellamy would hold quite a bit of resentment too, especially if he learns Clarke knew about the missle an gave up on O. As far as I remember he was rather reluctant about the whole concept of the alliance with grounders.

  8. The CW is finally promoting The 100!
Even so, I doubt it will get anything different from 0.5

  9. Someone gotta tell Clarke that what she did was wrong. Love that Octavia is giving her a hard time about her decisions.
I still cant get over the missile situation. She should have gone with her gut and put on a show for Mount Weather of them fighting then dispersing before the strike. For me, following Lexa was her biggest mistake morally.

  10. Great stuff. This is when the show is at its best. Having their characters who genuinely care about each other challenge each other & fight alongside each other. So glad its up to the delinquents for the finale. Also just specifically Clarke & Octavia. I never thought from the pilot we'd see them like this but this is a dynamic that has definitely not been explored enough & I really hope to see in s3. If you think about it they are probably the two main characters who are most different & can learn the most from one another. But I'm getting ahead of myself... this is obviously at the top of the episode & we've already got our first death (Rip Fox) this is going to be amazing.

  11. But, guys... Octavia is a queen! I'm so so sorry for Clarke and I don't like to see these two fighting, but I can understand Octavia. And I love their dynamic!

  12. as well he should be, they put out a hit on his friend

  13. it's like she lost her humanity when Finn died right?

  14. Yeah, this sneak peek didn't change my response toward Octavia from the other sneak peek. Shut the hell up, girl. Seriously, instead of sitting on some moral high-horse, acknowledging how every everyone is always counting on Clarke, she should get off her wounded ass (feeling rejected by another group thus having no home), step up and offer some god damn solutions herself. Don't whine if you don't have a plan yourself. /end rant :)

Side note, based on the dialog from that brief clip, I sure hope the dialog improves for the rest of the finale episode because that sounded a little contrived.

  15. People need to stop bitching about Clarke's decision making. If she didn't make that tough decision it's likely that everyone she's been trying to rescue in Mt. Weather would be dead already including Bellamy.

No one comes out of a war with their hands clean. The important thing is to make sure it was worth it in the end. That's why Clarke keeps fighting. She knows what she did was rough and wants to make sure it counts for something.

As for "I know where my loyalties lie" Octavia? She's full of crap. This is the girl who broke from her own people to play Grounder dress-up and wanted to be Indra's #2 yet didn't agree with Grounder command decisions or Clarke's command decisions only to be left on her own. She shouldn't be talking to anyone about loyalty.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Everyone is always counting on Clarke. They expect her to figure everything out and then blame her when it doesn't work. If Octavia would have been in charge, what would she do differently? She would not have saved the village because her brother's life would be at risk. And she would not have said no to an agreement with the Grounders, since she was the one that had the soft spot for them.

  17. mostly following Lexa's lead imo

  18. Octavia needs to get off her high horse. I've been re-watching season 1 and her actions just piss me off.

Helping contact the Ark without a care, right after Bellamy says if the Ark comes down they will kill him. How about some sibling loyalty?

The flirting/romantic interest with every guy there. Finn, Jasper, Atom, the murderer Atom saved her from, Lincoln.

After being kidnapped and chained up in a cave she is suddenly sure of how good Lincoln is even though he never said a word to her. "He saved my life!" Yeah, but you have no way of knowing if he killed any of your friends out there.

Which bings me to the next thing. Octavia not caring about the people that died searching for her. Not caring that Lincoln's people have been pickingh them off one by one. "He saved my life" only goes so far when Grounders keep attacking and killing The 100.

Her being against torture of Lincoln is something I am fine with, but the way she went abot it was annoying. He had information the 100 needed and she was making sound like he was a poor, misunderstood soul and The 100 were the bad guys for daring to even have him locked up in the first place.

Blaming Bellamy for Finn being stabbed.

Octavia being a bitch to Raven, after Raven eloctrocuted Lincoln to save Finn's life after LIncoln stabbed and poisoned him.

Not telling the others that Lincoln can understand them and speaks perfect English.

Helping Lincoln escape. She had no evidence that he was a good guy other than he seemed to be attracted to her. Helping him escape only put everyone as risk, she had no way of knowing he wouldn't go straight to the rest of the Grounders.

Poisoning the rest of the 100 to help LIncoln escape. That is flat-out betrayal. She did not know at the time that the berries were harmless, yet she gave them to everyone. Not only did she have no way of knowing they wouldn't eventually kill whoever ate them, but that stunt of hers left the entire camp defenseless. If they were attacked they'd be screwed.

That is where I am at on my rewatch. I had forgotten how much I disliked Octavia in season 1, but now I remember. She has been much more tolerable in season 2 (mostly), but this clip just makes my dislike of her come back.

She has never had to make a call that effected one other person, let alone hundreds of lives on the line. All she does is complain, never offerring any solutions. She expects other people to live up to ridicoulously high standards while having a blindspot to her own hypocrisy. She's like a mini-Abby.

  19. Clarke: "I'm doing the best I can!"
    Octavia: "That's not good enough!"
Me: "Feel free to do better!"

    ReplyDelete
  20. Do you realise they had only few minutes to decide? Probably no more than 10 minutes in "real time". There was no chance to organise any ruse - either everybody runs away - and Bellamy is dead, or they just sneak away themselves to keep fighting. How would you decide under time pressure?

    ReplyDelete
  21. I see only one way for Clarke and O (and probably Bellam + co.) to save their friends: Get into MW and take over the last remaining power generator. Only 10-15 MM have bone marrow transplant, for others it takes 48 hours, before they are "cured". So by stopping the ventilation to level 5, where all MM are, most of them would die. This is probably the only threat that can stop Cage from harvesting bone marrow from everybody. And this may be the line Clarke may cross - would she be ready to knowingly kill about 300 civillians?

    ReplyDelete
  22. I doubt it was 10 minutes, because it started with daylight then when Lexa/Clarke were leaving, it was dark.

Her first instinct was putting on a show wherr they argue then disperse. To me, that was a reasonable plan.

Lets say If the people left in within the 10 minutes time frame, they would be around the same area as Lexa/Clarke, which is far enough distance from the missile strike. Therefore, less casualties.

    ReplyDelete
  23. We saw spotter anouncing Clarkes arrival, giving the coordinates and Cage ordering fire. It must have been minutes... The dealing with strike also takes place in daylight. Not sure about timeline here, but no long delay would make sence...

    ReplyDelete
  24. Perhaps Octavia should make some hard decisions and then see what she thinks! I am a bit annoyed with her really.

    ReplyDelete
  25. I think that's it, generally.

First they ask Dante for help (short sneak peek with Bellamy: "Please, we need a way to get all of our people out of this mountain without killing everyone.") I think he shows them the way to the generator or whatever. According to the Season 2 Finale Inside The Episode video Clarke is in a room (not the white room Dante is "living" in) pointing a gun at something (or someone, but not very likely) we can't see telling Cage via radio: "Don't make me do this!" And yes, I think she'll cross the line and take down the machines if she has to.

    ReplyDelete
  26. well bellamy and clarke were in the white room with dante in a short clip they are also in the control room i think it was monty, bellamy and clarke and clarke holds the gun at dante and say's dont make me do this i think it is gonna be about letting radiation on level 5.

but by the look of things there are two teams monty, clarke and bellamy in the control room and maya, jasper and octavia probably trying to get to level 5.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Clarke threatening Dante was my first thought, but that wouldn't make much sense. Cage couldn't care less about his father. He dethroned and imprisoned him, he only came to ask for help when it all was a great mess. Yes, he cured him, but basically he wouldn't care if Clarke threatens to kill Dante.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Agree cage wouldnt give the sky people back to save his own father he would rather let him die so it must be clarke not wanting to kill innocent people but will if she has to to save her people.

  29. Lighthouse? What?

And something must've happened on that boat, they've lost two on the way. Good lord, the wait is killing me.

    ReplyDelete
  30. This is going to be some futuristic city and I don't know how I feel about that. Lighthouse? Hmm. Not a NC lighthouse.
Is this body of water going to be Chesapeake Bay or the Potomac River? Are they closer to Annapolis, MD or DC? So many questions.

  31. Of course, Jaha did what Jaha does, think only about himself. I honestly don't know how anyone can be a fan of that character but I will say that I'm a little more intrigued by the City of Light story after seeing that clip.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Well, obviously, Jaha didn't reach the promised land yet. I doubt it will be resolved this ep. I'm now picturing just some geek controlling the drone. I'm not convinced Jaha will reach anything big. I almost feel sorry for Murphy.

    ReplyDelete
  33. So... Jaha killed the other two, so that he and Murphy could survive?!? Color me not at all surprised!

    ReplyDelete
  34. I think Murphy wishes he stayed with Clarke and Bellamy and fight against Mt-Weather. As for Jaha I think he his losing it if he hasn't already lost it .

    ReplyDelete
  35. " I think the fact that she's been abandoned by her army and most of her
people are still locked up in a near impenetrable mountain means she
could have done one or two things better.
    "

Not really. You can do everything right and still not get the desired result. Life doesn't always reward you for your efforts. It doesn't mean you screwed up.

Clarke may have put her faith in Lexa but that's what was needed. This isn't a situation you can go into tentatively. You're either all in or you're all out. If she wasn't, the alliance wouldn't have came as far as it did.

As far as the betrayal goes, it happened in a matter of minutes. Lexa literally went up a hill and when she came down she had sold Clarke out. She didn't see it coming not because of her relationship with Lexa but because it happened in the blink of an eye without any warning whatsoever.

I'll give you points on Octavia. That's a solid assessment. Until she's done figuring out who she is (something she's been trying to do since the show started) Octavia should really dial back her vehement judgements of others.

    ReplyDelete
  36. At least Lincoln understands that Lexa's decision was crap. Too bad Indra won't kill Lexa and take over.

    ReplyDelete
  37. :-D Ok! Ok! Ok! I like Indra again! She is forgiven... mostly! ;-)

    ReplyDelete
  38. so out of hundreds or thousands lincoln will be the only grounder to go back to help the sky people and if he survives tonight it looks like he will be with the sky people next season.

and also good to see indra actually does care by giving lincoln the knife

    ReplyDelete
  39. I did not expect Indra to be much help, but it's a pleasant suprise. Maybe the combination of someone she trusted (Lexa) laying waste to everything she worked for (Tondc) and someone she didn't trust (Octavia) priving herself worthy, finally made her see that everything isn't as black and White as she thought between her people and the Sky people. I hope so anyway. I just have a hard time believing at she's just so suddenly devoted to making sure Lincoln survives. I don't are if he saved her after the missile hit, she might have welcomed him back but I don't think just THAT would make her trust him enough bring on this change in her

    ReplyDelete
  40. I knew Indra would help in some way. Good for her for not being a complete asshole like Lexa! Tikru (sp?) means traitor, right? I think Indra called Lincoln that in an earlier episode this year.

    ReplyDelete
  41. I think she said "You're also tree crew" which means Tree People, his and Indra's Clan.

Wonder if she will go back too since she seems to have a connection to one of the Reapers they sedated in the tunnel.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Are you serious? A lighthouse? Really? I have to admit, I thought about it when I shared my rediction on the other thread (oil platform), I already wrote it down, but deleted it because for me it seemed too obvious by the time they reached the shore behind the solar panels. Hey,they said it would be something we never would think about, something more jaw-dropping than the white room in the S1 cliffhanger… ;) PLUS: They also said that we will find out about the City of Light at the end of the episode (or almost at the end), and to be honest, I think this will be the cliffhanger of this season, and they wouldn’t spoil the cliffhanger, right?

Sooo, someone mentioned Vegas as a possible City of Light, but I think it's much too far away. Is there some kind of Disneyland between Washington DC and Annapolis, Maryland?

    ReplyDelete
  43. This is absolutely beautiful. Thank you!
