Eh Supernatural's geophraphic accuracy team Worcester is not a town it's a city. Will wait to judge but thinking they should have used a rural town than a city based on this scene setting.
They need to crack on with Sam's arc already, hopefully it steps up now and not in the last episode of the season. Would be nice to have even 1 Sam centric/heavy episode this season esp since even Cas and Crowley have had more storyline/focus/episodes.
Well, last week we had the previouslies showing us that Sam NEVER knows what's going on, with at least 20 instances of Dean asking Sam what he thinks of the case and Sam saying "I don't know." every time. Then Dean was the one to come up with an idea to save Cole and Sam twiddled his thumbs waiting to see if it worked AND left Kit tied up so poorly that he escaped. This week we have Sam not seeing a case, and not spotting any pattern to the deaths. Dean races to the rescue to point out all the relevant pieces. If we get a Sam centered episode, I'm afraid it will show him becoming a drooling idiot who can't even tie his own shoes.
We aren't going to GET a Sam centric episode this season. We didn't get one last season...okay maybe Mother's Helper, but that was split between Sam who had zero emotional POV, the nun, who I loved, Henry and Josie and Dean and Crowley. In season eight the closest we got to a Sam centric episode was Sacrifice which also had Cas being tricked by Metatron, Crowley almost becoming human and Dean reminding us that Sam never does anything right, but that Dean puts him first. I will be shocked if we ever get a Sam centric episode again. The writers don't care and even worse, they now seem invested in making Sam look like a complete idiot and total incompetent.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeleteDean: "I'm feeling good about this."
ReplyDeleteMe: "I'm not."
Well, this was a pretty generic sneak peak.

I don't know exactly what will happen in this episode, but I'm intrigued.
