Sam's capacity for forgiveness is completely unrealistic at this stage. Seriously, Cole tortures him, damages his shoulder, doesn't attempt to apologise to him or even acknowledge he did any wrong and Sam has no problem working with him. (And Dean has no problem working with the guy who did it. Where did that supposedly protective big brother go??) Dean tricks Sam into possession, lies to him about it for months, makes him think he's losing his mind, then shoves Crowley in him before saying he'd do it again and Sam forgets about it. Castiel breaks the wall in his head to keep Dean in line and still Sam has faith in him. Gadreel possesses him and tries to hijack his body and Sam calls him his friend. Demon Dean tries to cave in his head in with a hammer at a time when he was human enough to escape a Devils trap and handcuffs and Sam bears no grudge and has no issue with it. Good God, Sam went with Ruby to try and stop the Apocalypse and we're still hearing about it six seasons later!
That is because anybody can do what they like to Sam and he has no rights over his body anyway. More so if that character is loved or liked by both writers and fandom.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Kit may be an IT!

ReplyDeleteI don't like the character much, but I'm 99% sure he'll die. Poor wife and kid. :(
ReplyDeleteCole's return... Awesome! Great Character!
