Sources tell io9 that Owain Yeoman (The Mentalist, Extant) will play the DC superhero Vartox in the show.

I'm kinda surprised the set is still there.
ReplyDeleteLois & Clark ended over 15 years ago. I expected them to have re-purposed it for something else by now.
They're reusing sets from Lois and Clark? Also really worried how much of a procedural this will be.
ReplyDeleteCool Owain Yeoman is on board.
ReplyDeleteactually the street set has always been there, the Daily Planet sign however is from L&C
ReplyDeleteWhy are they using Lois and Clark's set? They couldn't build a set of their own?? And wow! Lois and Clark's set. Throwback Thursday in did.
ReplyDeleteI like Owain Yeoman. Doesn't Vartox has almost same powers as Superman?
ReplyDeleteWould Supergirl ever be connected in any way to Lois & Clark? That would make sense for how Superman is there but older and more of a "myth" if the rumors are true.
ReplyDeleteIs Kreisberg involved in this show too? Guess this might really end up in the same universe as Arrow, The Flash, and their spin-off..
ReplyDeleteI doubt it. Particularly since the creators (the CW president) want to try to connect it to the Arrowverse.
ReplyDeleteFrom what I looked up he's similar powerset wise but with the added bonus of phasing (and probably being weaker).
ReplyDeleteWhat is phasing? Is that a dumb question?
ReplyDeleteI love Owain Yeoman !
ReplyDeleteI guess a 31 century story is out, if they want it in the same universe.
ReplyDeleteWhat maclives said.
ReplyDeleteThey shot Lois and Clark on the WB backlot. Those are standing exterior sets they reuse over and over and over
In the same way that Stars Hollow, Bluebell, Hazzard County and Smallville from Lois and Clark are the same Small town America set on the WB backlot
Well standing sets are cheap, so I get why they're back on the WB backlot... though I doubt that this is actually gonna have any connection to Lois & Clark... even with Dean on board.
ReplyDeleteDoubt that will happen. I even heard that the producers are dead straight on keeping Supergirl away from Arrow/The Flash.
ReplyDeleteThey are (well the Arrow and Flash ones involved in the protect) but it's definitely not connected to Lois and Clark.
ReplyDeleteIt's intangibility. Can't wait till Barry gets it.
ReplyDeleteSets like that are ridiculously expensive to build.
