True Blood alum Lauren Bowles has been tapped to guest star on the network's political soap, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.
Bowles will play Harmony and appear in the April 2 episode. The role is scheduled for one episode at this time. It's unclear if the character has the possibility to return — as has been the case with multiple guest stars on Scandal.
The story will focus on Elizabeth's (Portia de Rossi) fear that Mellie's sister could be detrimental to their political aspirations. It comes as President Grant (Tony Goldwyn) has been eyeing a new lame-duck VP who won't run against Mellie, who continues to have political aspirations of her own.
