About the Daily Ratings

Each day (except Sunday) during the main TV Season we post the TV Ratings for the previous nights primetime shows for the major broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, CW, FOX, NBC). Cable Network ratings will be added to the Ratings Database.

The first item that gets posted (normally around 2pm GMT) is the early overnight analysis based on the early household numbers (these are not the same as the Total Viewers and 18-49 Demo numbers that are posted later).

Next, if available, we will post the Top 25 Market 18-49 Ratings to give you a rough idea of the ratings to following.

Later on (normally between 4pm-5pm GMT) we post the official early overnight Total Viewers and 18-49 Demo numbers in the table above (We also where possible now post the 18-34 and 25-54 Demo Numbers).

Finally, later in the evening (10pm-11pm GMT) or the following day, the final adjusted ratings numbers are released, these are then posted in the Ratings Database. The Final Adjusted numbers are what we use for all our Renew/Cancellation Tables, Full Season Tables, Ratings Scorecards etc (see below). 1. Ratings are usually delayed the first time after DST.

Anyway, it will be interesting to see how Battle Creek and Secrets & Lies hold up, but I don't have much hope for either.

  2. Damn i got all excited!

    ReplyDelete
  3. You'll have top 25 soon.

    ReplyDelete
  4. Top 25 Market Numbers have now been entered

  5. Well, Revenge seems to have recovered a bit which is nice.
    OUAT did ok too

  6. The strange creature is back!March 9, 2015 at 2:38 PM

I just hope that it translates into something like a 1.1

    ReplyDelete
  7. Shouldn't be lower than a 1, that's for sure

    ReplyDelete
  8. Last Man on Earth fell, but still doing great for FOX

    ReplyDelete
  9. The strange creature is back!March 9, 2015 at 2:40 PM

I think that the time change must've helped it a little

    ReplyDelete
  10. The Last Man on Earth did so bad it didn't even get a rating :P lol

    ReplyDelete
  11. Hmm seems like OUAT will drop under 2. Tough! Shame it was a good episode.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Please OUAT don't fall below 2! Did Secrets and Lies match it's top 25 from last week?

    ReplyDelete
  13. No, S&L is 0.2 lower than last week.

    ReplyDelete
  14. The strange creature is back!March 9, 2015 at 2:42 PM

    No, it got a 1.7

When someone knows the per half hour total viewership numbers for OUAT, please post them.
I want to know if the number of viewers went up, or down, and by how much.
And if possible, I'd like the half hour break down on Madam Secretary too.
    Thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  16. Wow, Madam Secretary did worse than TGW!

    ReplyDelete
  17. What happened to Madam Secretary? It already hit a demo series low last week and now it's looking at another low! All while the show has its best episodes to date.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Ouch S&L. I expect 1.3/1.4. Really wish they had put it on Thursdays as originally planned. Much more watchable than American Crime.
Battle Creek is a true embarrassment for CBS.

    ReplyDelete
  19. American Crime was really good.

    ReplyDelete
  20. I hope for a 2.0 for Once Upon a Time.

    ReplyDelete
  21. how much ok? Higher than 1.7?

    ReplyDelete
  22. Once went down by .2 in HH top 25. Madam went down by .1.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Guesses based exclusively on top 25 markets:
    - Once Upon a Time: 2.0-2.1
    - Secrets and Lies: 1.3-1.4
    - Revenge: 1.0-1.1

    - Madam Secretary: 1.0-1.1
    - The Good Wife: 1.1
    - Battle Creek: 0.9

    - The Simpsons: 1.6
    - Brooklyn Nine-Nine: 1.5
    - Family Guy: 1.9
    - The Last Man on Earth: 1.6-1.7

    - Dateline: 0.60

    ReplyDelete
  24. MS benefited from CBS NFL spillover several weeks, but, like Stalker/CSI, it trailed TAR all season. I couldn't figure out why CBS granted such an early renewal for a mid-1s new series in a high profile slot. I bet they end up changing the order or just canceling it - and they should. It will never make it four seasons and it is destroying the entire Sunday lineup.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Fingers crossed. Revenge.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Me too. I understand why they didn't put American Crime on Sundays though but I wish Secrets and Lies could have gotten Thursdays. I think a 1.3-1.4 is not an ouch result though, it is a decent post premiere hold.

    ReplyDelete
  27. I hope you're right about Once Upon a Time!

    ReplyDelete
  28. I think it normally only drops 0.1 anyway so fingers crossed :)

    ReplyDelete
  29. Incoming lol for Battle Creek.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Sad about OUAT's fall, but at least it looks like it's the most watched program of the night.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Looks like Secrets and Lies, even while mediocre, still helped lift Revenge. Compatibility is a big issue

    ReplyDelete
  32. Well of course it did.

    ReplyDelete
  33. While I am very much in favor of networks adopting split seasons, I thin they are harmful for freshmans shows. Half a season or less than it is simply too little time for viewers to become sufficiently loyal to actively seek the series when it returns. There are exceptions (read How to Get Away with Murder, but even that one came back a bit weaker), but in general I think this tends to apply. So I think Madam Secretary is suffering from that, though I am not sure what the alternative was, since obviously airing it during event season was not viable.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Wow everything seems low. I'm sure DST had an effect to some extent, especially the 8pm shows

    ReplyDelete
  35. I think it was simply a normal (read non flop) lead-in.

    ReplyDelete
  36. I thought it would hold better because of the steady half hours, and dropping seven tenths is more than the average post premiere drop.

    ReplyDelete
  37. I agree that this is too much. It should have held up a bit better especially since it had a better lead-in too. But maybe airing it at the bottom of the hour hurt it. Then again, these guesses are always harder for shows that have very few airings since I don't have a big enough sample to base my guess on. So I could be off.

    ReplyDelete
  38. I bet next season OUaT will find a way to bring back the Frozen characters to help boost up the ratings again if they keep on falling like this.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Resurrection was almost unbelievably low though. While I think compatibility is a huge issue, I think here you don't even have to get into that, as Secrets and Lies appears to be like half a point stronger or so than where Resurrection ultimately settled. That matters a lot.

    ReplyDelete
  40. it is fine but lower than before. Next week it could do 1.7 damn... If it stays higher than 1.00 should be renewed anyway but damn!!! Do you feel me? :( Wish it stayed steady... instead it drops everyrime

    ReplyDelete
  41. They're pretty steady...

    ReplyDelete
  42. OUAT could fall to 1.4 and still be renewed. And it won't. It is basically doing what it was doing for the OZ arc, just a tad lower.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Once Upon a Time is not a "should be renewed anyway" type of show. It is a virtually certain renewal and is ABC's strongest drama outside of TGIT. It is in no danger whatsoever. Period.

    ReplyDelete
  44. 1.3 is low thought, and it didn't have much rom to fall with that 1.5 for the premiere. At least we'll get the conclusion even if it gets cancelled.

    ReplyDelete
  45. OUAT doesn't need to go up in ratings, it's the 4th highest rated drama on ABC. Only Shonda Rhymes shows perform better.

    ReplyDelete
  46. That I agree with but my point was that this wasn't a bad pot premiere hold. The problem was that the premiere number was low to begin with. I wish it had been able to start with a 2.0.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Last Man On Earth took a huge tumble. Maybe it will look different later.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Once/American Crime/Revenge would have been incredibly jarring, though. And it'd be lunacy for ABC to put their most cable-ish drama on cable's strongest night.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Welcome to Daylight Savings Time. It's going to impact your 8 PM shows.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Every show drops sooner or later...You don't have to worry, Once Upon a Time is the 4th highest rated drama of ABC, It will be renewed for sure :)

    ReplyDelete
  51. Right? I don't understand the constant hand wringing from people whose show is very, very secure on its network. I understand wanting something you like to do the best that it can, but c'mon.

    ReplyDelete
  52. My point is that Secrets & Lies fits much better on Thursdays. It has all these twists and turns, and would fit right in after Scandal. American Crime is such a slow burn after a fast-paced show like Scandal.
ABC produces both shows, but I guess they went with the one with bigger numbers attached for their prime slot.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Every show can change it's faith: see Sleepy Hollow it was big strong now it is a funerable baby

    ReplyDelete
  54. Yeah, a split season might not have helped. It didn't help Revolution season 1, but as you say, there was no alternative for MS. I suppose DST might have had an effect on the ratings as well. But these ratings are really low. Should CBS have waited to renew it? Could/Should they move the show next season? I'm just glad it's been renewed but I fear for future seasons.

    ReplyDelete
  55. I think his point is that both slots needed new shows (Thursdays at 10 and Sundays at 9) and ABC should try to maximize the numbers for both slots. I think if they had put American Crime on Sundays it would collapse to a very horrible level (Resurrection style, probably around 1s) and drag Revenge back down it too in the process. Secrets and Lies would benefit from Thursdays for sure but I don't think the gain it would have would have been enough to offset the losses from American Crime (and Revenge). So it is taking a bullet here but the network is probably better off this way.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Well that's because Sleepy Hollow's second season was a mess. Fans reactions to OUAT now is nowhere near as negative as Sleepy Hollow. And the show fell from the season 2 premiere onwards, while OUAT has kept its trend with the OZ arc so far, so not a really good comparison

    ReplyDelete
  57. They should have just left The Amazing Race at Sundays 8.

    ReplyDelete
  58. I wouldn't be surprised if it drops further. It's a cool idea for a movie, but there's only so much of one guy wondering an abandoned place that people can stand until it's too much.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Can't blame them for trying, it's not like The Amazing Race did that well on Sundays last season to begin with

    ReplyDelete
  60. Madam Secretary has improved the slot in total viewers though. And in turn it lifts up The Good Wife.

    ReplyDelete
  61. "Only Shonda Rhymes shows perform better."

Incoming: one strongly worded memo from Shonda on twitter informing everyone about the correct spelling of her name!

    ReplyDelete
  62. Madam Secretary is one of the hardest cases for me to explain in terms of why it got such an early renewal. While a renewal at season's end wouldn't have surprised me, it should be, by all accounts, a bubble show and networks don't typically renew bubble shows in January. So I think something else is going on with it. CBS is not known for making stupid business decisions like that so if they renewed it early it is because they probably knew it would remain profitable even if ratings were to fall, since the risk of them falling was always a big one. In fact, I've always thought CBS had to have known the show had limited appeal in the demo to begin with but they still launched it and were apparently satisfied enough with the results to grant it a very early renewal when they absolutely didn't have to. I don't really know what to make of it. I think a move is entirely off the table though since I don't see any other spot in which it would work and since CBS will almost certainly keep its Madam Secretary-The Good Wife combo in place.

    ReplyDelete
  63. CBS is cursed with their Sunday nights x)

    ReplyDelete
  64. I guess the Cinderella sneak peek didn't helped a lot. Not surprised. Maybe they should have aired Frozen sneak peek, but that would be impossible since it's only 6-7 minutes.

    ReplyDelete
  65. They do it upon themselves with football overruns. It's very hard to get anything going with shows that shift half a season.

The upscale audience focus doesn't help either. It brings in a select audience, but it's not broad enough to rate in the demos at all.

    ReplyDelete
  66. That happened from one season to the other. Besides, that was a freshman show and one with a very limited episode count to begin with, so they are always more prone to big drops and for audience to give up. Veteran shows like Once Upon a Time which are halfway through its 4th year rarely experience such huge declines like that.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Still want SH s3 & thanks. Glad OUAT did good. I still love Sleepy thou my girl is gone. I will never stop crying over Perception axing btw. The new director is a jerk he should have kept it. It wasn't that low when it was cancelled. Now my UBER fav is gone T_T

    ReplyDelete
  68. That is a valid and very plausible point. I too think MS and TGW will remain intact next season, although I am not sure what will happen once TGW inevitably ends (probably season 7 is its last). Anyway, that's too far away so let's just enjoy the show for now. Have you seen last night's episode already? I thought it was really awesome!

    ReplyDelete
  69. When will people realize that the overruns actually help the night instead of hurting it? With the exception of the 10pm show, which they didn't care for anyway, they are better off when they have overruns. In addition, there weren't even that many time shifts this year.

    ReplyDelete
  70. Yeah, Once is a certain renewal. Still, I wish its ratings were higher.. it deserves more..

    ReplyDelete
  71. It got a 1.9 exactly a year ago on Sunday.

    ReplyDelete
  72. Sleepy Hollow is likely to come back; the writers and FOX are just trying to see which direction could help a rating resurgance; they know the audience is there, they are just planning how to win it back before renewing the show

    ReplyDelete
  73. looks like TGW and Battle Creek are going to be cancelled...

    ReplyDelete
  74. I am not used to the ratings coming an hour early, guess it will take a day or two.

    ReplyDelete
  75. I remember it starting to do 1.5s as the season went on. Not bad, but not stellar either.
The Amazing Race could have been kept on Sundays, but I don't think it was a bad idea to try something else there. And until recently Madam Secretary was working

    ReplyDelete
  76. I have not, and I have yet to see the one from last week too. My TV schedule is insane right now, so I have Madam Secretary and The Good Wife piled up. I want to go over them this week, let's see if I am able to. I am quite excited for Madam actually, everyone has been praising a lot.

But I am actually a good example of my point about splitting seasons for freshmans. I wasn't behind on MS during the fall and now I am already.

    ReplyDelete
  77. Surprisingly strong for it, good premiere hold. Still, weak rating overall

    ReplyDelete
  78. Overruns do in general, but with CBS, sometimes it's 15 minutes on football overrun Sundays, sometimes 30 minutes, sometimes 45 minutes. It's reliant on how often football goes over and I think that it's very hard for an audience to figure out when the show actually starts. Most casual viewers will turn at 8 PM, figure it's not on, and move elsewhere. They aren't going to wait 15 minutes on week, 30 the next etc.

    ReplyDelete
  79. Battle Creek is certain to be cancelled but The Good Wife will be renewed.

    ReplyDelete
  80. Bye bye Battle Creek

    ReplyDelete
  81. Ouch. This will be pulled soon.

    ReplyDelete
  82. You're the first person i've seen that has suggested the good wife be cancelled. I think that is very possibly could be cancelled.

    ReplyDelete
  83. Started with 1.5 but but stayed above 1.7 after the first two episodes, even hitting a 2.0.
Madam Secretary was working because of the football overruns. Now that football is done, it came crashing down.

    ReplyDelete
  84. That's not too bad even though it won't give them a renewal. Still beter than Resurrection's season average though.

    ReplyDelete
  85. Nice for OUAT and S&L :)

    ReplyDelete
  86. Yet, despite what you said, evidence contracts it as The Good Wife and Madam Secretary ratings are higher in overrun nights than in not-overrun nights, so apparently the audience has no probably finding the shows on those nights and yes, they do wait.

    ReplyDelete
  87. CBS' problem is 60M/MS after football. Neither show maximizes that lead-out. (Take a look at FOX and TS and the huge numbers it gets after football and that's with TO usually filling in for 15-20 minutes.) It's a programming issue, not an overrun issue.

    ReplyDelete
  88. Still pretty good for FOX.

    ReplyDelete
  89. I think CBS has already agreed to air all episodes.

    ReplyDelete
  90. Are you saying it feels like an hour early? Because where I'm at it's still after 11.

    ReplyDelete
  91. other sites like TVinsiders guess TGW and H5O are possible shows to be cancelled...

    ReplyDelete
  92. Yes me too. But next week they will be back to the same time for me since my hour will also change.

    ReplyDelete
  93. I don't see the table, what are their ratings?

    ReplyDelete
  94. The Good Wife is more than likely to get its final season(season 7).

    ReplyDelete
  95. Revenge? Where are people seeing the ratings by the way? The table looks empty to me and showbuzzdaily is down.

    ReplyDelete
  96. We don't have DST in Pakistan anymore.

    ReplyDelete
  97. Very good for OUAT! :) I was expecting much lower for S&L :)

    ReplyDelete
  98. I definitely think Hawaii 5-0 can be cancelled.

    ReplyDelete
  99. They are moved into higher watched timeslots overall, causing the inflation, so I would agree there and the reasoning works. But the fact that it tends to not hold after overruns shows that it's not likely he core audience waiting around to watch. And this desire not to stick with it and watch is likely caused by the constant shifting.

    ReplyDelete
  100. There are some added to the table, should load soon.
You can see some too on Joe Adalian's twitter

    ReplyDelete
  101. We don't do DST in Pakistan anymore, but this time fits me better since the ratings come at 9, which is usually dinner time for me, in winter.

    ReplyDelete
  102. Battle Creek is a joke for CBS. We all knew that was going to happen though.

    ReplyDelete
  103. The strange creature is back!March 9, 2015 at 3:17 PM

    How about revenge?

    ReplyDelete
  104. Not known yet; some ratings pages are down and we're waiting for more to come up. Will be post ASAP

    ReplyDelete
  105. They can burn it off on Saturdays, that would still count as "airing all episodes".

    ReplyDelete
  106. I still have till 29th for winter time. So will enjoy the ratings an hour early for the rest of the month.

    ReplyDelete
  107. Oh okay. That makes total sense now. Because up until about 8 years ago Indiana didn't have DST either.

    ReplyDelete
  108. Interesting. I guess the out could be they could air them all on Saturday.

    ReplyDelete
  109. though I wonder which show is going to replace it : maybe CSI (then a new show on February) ? I guess Elementary is going to be pushed at 10pm on Sunday...

    ReplyDelete
  110. They tried it for like 2 years here but the electricity consumption actually increased, so they stopped doing it here.

    ReplyDelete
  111. Good for Once

    ReplyDelete
  112. If that was the case, then the shows would be stable throughout spring when there is no more shifting. Yet they continue to decline throughout it. Look, I understand all the reasons why one argue the overruns are negative for these shows and it makes sense intuitively but the truth is just that data doesn't support that so the claim doesn't really have a basis.

    ReplyDelete
  113. 18-34 and 25-54 demo breakdown delayed. Will be brought in ASAP

    ReplyDelete
  114. The strange creature is back!March 9, 2015 at 3:20 PM

thanx good to see that its recovered a little

    ReplyDelete
  115. Everything is very confusing today, apparently the clocks messed up with all the rating sites lol.

    ReplyDelete
  116. LOL, what? I personally wish Indiana would go back to not changing times because I really hate it and it takes me a couple of weeks to adjust.

    ReplyDelete
  117. I was hoping for a 1.2 but that is passable I guess.

    ReplyDelete
  118. Yep, it's really nice to see it isn't sub 1s anymore

  120. We all knew it was DOA.

  121. The strange creature is back!March 9, 2015 at 3:22 PM

ya true. Anyway's I wasn't expecting much due to the lack of hype.

    ReplyDelete
  122. Daylight Savings are really good for messing up the ratings

    ReplyDelete
  123. The strange creature is back!March 9, 2015 at 3:22 PM

especially since there wasn't any hype about during the break

    ReplyDelete
  124. Not surprised with the ratings.

    ReplyDelete
  125. Winners: Once Upon a Time, Family Guy, The Last Man on Earth

    Honorable Mention: The Simpsons

Very Worthy Week 2 Hold: Secrets and Lies

Losers: Bob's Burgers, Revenge, Madam Secretary, The Good Wife, Battle Creek, Dateline

  126. I think there's always going to be two schools of thought, one that thinks overrun has an impact, and the other that thinks it doesn't. And like with every debate, there's evidence that can be manipulated to try to prove both cases. To me, the discussion is intriguing to have as both sides bring something unique to the table.

I think the bigger picture is that if CBS is going to attract a mainly upscale audience, it's going to have to expect older skewing shows and lower demos and figure out a way to monetize it and make it work. Right now, I'd be surprised if CBS is making that much of a profit on the night.

    ReplyDelete
  127. The 10PM timeslot looks really pathetic. I love Revenge, but winning at 1.1 just says how awful the landscape is

    ReplyDelete
  128. I agree. Odyssey has a good opportunity to step up here.

    ReplyDelete
  129. With AD as a lead in, I'd be surprised if it flopped. It should step up at least for its premiere. Its toughest competition will be The Talking Dead, which isn't the worst thing that can happen

    ReplyDelete
  130. Terrible night all around. CBS in particular looks awful. I don't like this.

    ReplyDelete
  131. The good thing about Revenge's return numbers is that it could have been worse but it wasn't. What was its demo rating before the break, 1.2?

And not too steep of a drop fro Secrets and Lies either. Good for them! Hopefully it stabilizes for next week onwards.

    ReplyDelete
  132. The strange creature is back!March 9, 2015 at 3:27 PM

    0.9

    ReplyDelete
  133. I know right, lol
And it took me a few weeks to get adjusted back then, too.

    ReplyDelete
  134. OUAT at 2.1 did alot better than ok..
    revenge 1.1

    ReplyDelete
  135. I'm hoping Odyssey will do good as well.

    ReplyDelete
  136. Thanks. Certainly brightened things up even for just a bit.

Too bad much of Revenge's audience are timeshifted. Can't blame them if the hour is highly trafficked on both broadcast and cable.

    ReplyDelete
  137. I really don't think AD is going to succeed. I think it's going to do bad, but we'll see.

    ReplyDelete
  138. The strange creature is back!March 9, 2015 at 3:30 PM

I expected much worse, due to the lack of hype

    ReplyDelete
  139. On another positive note for Revenge, it added about 1 million viewers compared to its previous episode.
A short final season seems less unlikely now; I'd give it a 35% chance which is way better than the previous 15% I gave it on January

    ReplyDelete
  140. Good: Once Upon a Time, Family Guy, TLMOE;
    Decent: The Simpsons;
    Mediocre: Secrets & Lies, Brooklyn Nine-Nine;
    Improved, but still not decent: Revenge;
    Ouch: The Good Wife, Madam Secretary;
    Disaster: Battle Creek.

    ReplyDelete
  141. Me too. I've yet to caught up on the January episodes but it's been a very good season so far this year for me to not skip an instalment.

    ReplyDelete
  142. With freshman it's really hard to tell: there's only a handful of cases when you can declare a certain winner - like The Flash and How to get away with Murder -, and then everything else can be a surprise.
I think AD is going to do good for NBC, but it may as well not. We'll have to wait and see

    ReplyDelete
  143. AC is a Great show, very similar to 80's & 90's shows like Hill Street Blues & Homicide: Life on the Street , Gritty & realistic, & no sugar coating

    ReplyDelete
  144. The strange creature is back!March 9, 2015 at 3:35 PM

If it could just tick up a couple tenths more, then a short season will be possible

    ReplyDelete
  145. @James Clarke FYI you can see all ratings, for all shows and all episodes in the Ratings Database.

    www.stvplus.com

    ReplyDelete
  146. If Revenge manages to end up the season with a 1.3 or a 1.2 I'd say the short final season is imminent; I honestly believe ABC wants to get the best syndication package out of it before saying goodbye to the show, and that comes with 100 episodes

    ReplyDelete
  147. Is this to me or to James Clarke? I'm sorry, not sure if you were referring to me. Thanks. :)

    ReplyDelete
  148. From 8 to 10PM FOX won with a 1.7 and ABC came in second with a 1.5
But from 7 to 10, ABC won with a 1.5, while FOX sunk to a 1.3

    ReplyDelete
  149. Time to UNrenew MS - no way this series makes it to syndication. Cut your losses CBS

    ReplyDelete
  150. Revenge is up i am so Glad :)

    ReplyDelete
  151. It's still good for OUAT but I hoped it rose like last year with a more dynamic episode. Hopefully the promo of episode 14 is for once really good (to me) so it may (not saying it will) attract more viewers. I'm not worried but as a fan and with a series like Once, I hoped it would rise a bit before the usual drop :)

    ReplyDelete
  152. Oh well just saw the results it's really not a big decline that's cool :D

    ReplyDelete
  153. Wow revenge actually hit 5 million in its first half hour :) I am happy

    ReplyDelete
  154. I was expecting much lower for Secrets & Lies.

    ReplyDelete
  155. 18-34 and 25-54 demo breakdown may not be seen until either the afternoon or tomorrow. There's nothing else to do but wait. Sorry guys.

    ReplyDelete
  156. The strange creature is back!March 9, 2015 at 3:49 PM

I expected much worse, but glad to see it getting above a 1 again

    ReplyDelete
  157. I am not religious at all myself but I would not count out a faith based audience watching the show in large numbers. I do not think that audience is going to tune in at 10pm and watch Odyssey though.

    ReplyDelete
  158. Gaia would did we say about panicing for OUAT renewal? It's sure for a 5th season and most likely for a 6th. So just breath and don't overthink.

    ReplyDelete
  159. It held really well week to week.

    ReplyDelete
  160. Yes. I mean, it had mediocre ratings, we can't say that were good. But at least, it seems that viewers are enjoying it.

    ReplyDelete
  161. The strange creature is back!March 9, 2015 at 3:55 PM

TVBTN reports that Revenge got a 1.0

    ReplyDelete
  162. I would straight up place Madam Secretary and the good wife under disaster.

    ReplyDelete
  163. It has fine ratings.

    ReplyDelete
  164. I would say mediocre at best.

    ReplyDelete
  165. It's probably a 1.05 again which people are averaging in different ways. We'll know when finals come out.

    ReplyDelete
  166. I read that this is usual for CBS

    ReplyDelete
  167. They're disappointing for ABC, but they're not horrible.

    ReplyDelete
  168. I guess the 750 thousand people who tuned out after OUAT were only 18-49... Ugh.

    ReplyDelete
  169. No, is is far from usual.

    ReplyDelete
  170. It's quite fascinating to see Revenge winning on broadcast with a 1.1! Battle Creek should be ashamed of the ratings, that 10pm slot really could have been taken easily against weak competition.

    ReplyDelete
  171. Have you seen last week's ratings. I'm pretty sure it's a sign of things to come.

    ReplyDelete
  172. Battle Creek had incompatible lead-ins.

    ReplyDelete
  173. It actually got a 1 I'm afraid. There was a rounding error which we've fixed

    ReplyDelete
  174. Sorry, posted before I finished my sentence! I meant to say usual in that CBS ratings usually rise in Jan Feb, especially those shows not up against the voice etc, but then plummet Spring time - a mix of DST and more competion. Shoyldnt affect CBS on Suns so much tho. Be interesting to see how the CBS shows do tonight. I think there'll be a noticeable drop all round

    ReplyDelete
  175. The strange creature is back!March 9, 2015 at 4:05 PM

    its a 1.0 now

    ReplyDelete
  176. In fact, mediocre is not horrible ;)

    ReplyDelete
  177. happy for your revenge & thanks. A question : I need help , where can I find ratings for WGN? I need Salem ratings & Elementary s4 for next year... I don't know where to look. Need to be updated exspecially next year bc I love Elementary & I hope it'll stay beyond s4

    ReplyDelete
  178. Sadly, it seems like Revenge did get a 1.0. The initial confusion with the 1.1 was due to the half hours. It'll be corrected right away

    ReplyDelete
  179. Revenge's ratings corrected: the half hours were misleading, the show got a 1.0

    ReplyDelete
  180. Yes, I have. And things are not looking well for CBS on Sunday. But your comment "I'm pretty sure it's a sign of things to come." is overblown and suggest that you have something against these CBS shows or the network in general.

And apparently JC's comment wasn't complete.

    ReplyDelete
  181. When is the last time a 10pm Sunday show brought in good ratings? I don't remember Sunday's being this bad before.

    ReplyDelete
  182. The strange creature is back!March 9, 2015 at 4:18 PM

Well, on the bright side I expected something like a 0.8.

    ReplyDelete
  183. Resurrection's first season. And OUAT from Septmeber to November
