Ratings Breakdown:
CBS inched past ABC for Thursday overnight dominance with a two-tenth of a rating point (or three percent) advantage. Particularly positive on the Eye net was household growth of seven percent week-to-week for episode three of the revival of “The Odd Couple,” which led the 8:30 p.m. half-hour at a 7.6 rating/12 share. Comparably, this was also seven percent above year-ago occupant “The Millers” (7.1/11 on 3/06/14). And the retention for “The Odd Couple” out of lead-in “The Big Bang Theory” (#1: 11.1/17 at 8 p.m.) was 68 percent, which was two percent above the 66 percent last week. In other words, Matthew Perry’s post-“Friends” losing streak (think “Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip,” “Mr. Sunshine” and “Go On”) could be over (if, of course, “The Odd Couple” remains out of “The Big Bang Theory”).
Three-week household overnight track for “The Odd Couple”: 8.1/13 – 7.1/11 – 7.6/12).
Next on CBS was an encore telecast of “The Big Bang Theory” at 9 p.m. (#2: 6.3/10), followed by relocated “Mom” (#2: 5.7/ 9 at 9:30 p.m.), featuring the riotous return of Octavia Spencer, and three-year old drama “Elementary” (#2: 4.9/ 9), which is a shoo-in to return next season because of its lucrative off-network deal. This has never been what you would refer to as a hit series.
In series-premiere news, “American Crime” opened on ABC with a first-place 6.1/11 in the household overnights from 10-11 p.m. Comparably, this was just eight percent below the 6.6/12 for the season-finale of former time period occupant “How I Met Your Mother” last week. This was equal to year-ago occupant “Scandal.” And the retention for “American Crime” out of lead-in “Scandal” (#1: 7.4/12 from 9-10 p.m.) was very acceptable at 82 percent. While most shows do drop from 10 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. due to the decreased HUT levels, erosion of 12 percent for “American Crime” by half-hour (6.5/11 to 5.7/10) is the only initial overnight observation that might be a concern. Let’s see what the demos look like.
Earlier in the evening on ABC was veteran “Grey’s Anatomy” at a 6.5/10 from 8-9 p.m., which was seven percent above the 6.1/11 one week earlier and almost triple the overnight performance for failed year-ago occupant “Once Upon a Time in Wonderland” (2.2/ 4 on 3/6/14).
Elsewhere, heavily DVR dependent “The Blacklist” on NBC grew by six percent week to week, with a third-place 5.5/ 9 from 9-10 p.m. Comparably, that was 104 percent above recent lead-in entry “The Slap” (#4: 2.7/ 4 at 8 p.m.). But week five of lead-out drama “Allegiance” slipped to a series-low 2.2/ 4 at 10 p.m., which only increases the rapidly ticking cancellation clock.
On Fox, there was more minor overnight growth for recently introduced Rainn Wilson drama “Backstrom” (#4: 2.9/ 5 at 9 p.m.: + 7 percent from one week earlier). But retention out of the 8:30 p.m. portion of lead-in “American Idol” (6.8/10) was still lacking at 43 percent. And this was not much better than the 2.4/ 4 for failed drama “Rake” one year earlier. Overall, “American Idol” scored a 6.6/10 from 8-9 p.m., which was on par from the year-ago evening.
The CW closed this first Thursday in March with a 0.5/ 1 each (#5) for encore telecasts of “The Vampire Diaries” and “Supernatural.”

Yes for The Odd Couple rising. It looks like Matthew Perry wont have another season 1 sitcom get cancelled.
ReplyDeleteGreat for GA and Scandal
ReplyDeleteDoesn't look shabby at all for GA and Scandal.
ReplyDeleteMixed for AC
ReplyDeleteGreat for ABC as usual.American Crime started decent but worried for that big fall in HH in second half hour.
ReplyDeleteLooks good for American Crime but I always expected it to premiere well due to the amazing timeslot it has and the amount of promotion it got. Holding in future weeks is a different matter.
ReplyDeleteDidnt know HIMYM show at 10 on abc last week?
ReplyDeleteOK for American Crime but the half drop isn't surprising at all. I wrote it yesterday, this show is way too slow paced for ABC viewers to continue with. I like that they took a chance, but it doesn't fit on its TGIT lineup.
ReplyDeleteThe Blacklist rises again hoping for a 2.0
ReplyDeleteLol it wasn't, of course. It was How to Get Away with Murder.
ReplyDeleteSecrets and Lies was a better fit.
ReplyDeleteI know lol
ReplyDeleteIt says How i met your mother instead of HTGAWM...
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing American crime got like a 2.5
ReplyDeleteI have long felt that the only place on the entire network that was remotely suitable for the drama was Wednesdays at 10pm though I understand why it ended up here (there was no other place to Nashville and if this wasn't on Thursdays Secrets and Lies would be, which would leave a big hole on Sunday)
ReplyDeleteI agree with that. Though Secrets and Lies isn't exactly tremendously fast paced either, even though I really like it.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed American Crime but it's not a show that fits well on broacast
ReplyDeleteI hated the pilot.
ReplyDeleteI agree. Seeing both, ABC should have stuck with their original intention as Secrets and Lies is a much better fit.
ReplyDeleteSecrets and Lies or American Crime?
ReplyDeleteS&L.
ReplyDeleteI think the problem was that American Crime would fit even worse on Sundays. It has literally nothing to do with Once or Revenge.
ReplyDeleteLets put it this way, AC has to many old-ish people for an ABC post Scnadal show. ^_^
ReplyDeleteReally? I liked it very much. But I like those kind of shows. I thought it was very well acted and that it had cool twists and turns and kept me intrigued the whole time. Some of them were fairly cliche, but still very entertaining.
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing that it skewed older than Scandal. since it's very politically/racially charged, and that skews old We are probably looking at 2.2 to 2.4 territory.
ReplyDeleteOdd couple is lucky...its because of tbbt lead in
ReplyDeleteLOL at Mark saying How I Met Your Mother instead of How to get Away with Murder xD.
ReplyDeleteAmerican Crime did well, and I'm actually surprised by The Odd Couple raise.
Also, The Blacklist is holding on OK
Scandal is very young-skewing so some young viewers might have watched it.
ReplyDeleteAgreed,Secrets and Lies were also skewing old dropping 1 million and 7 tenths from OUAT.
ReplyDeleteMarc's having late HIYM withdrawal symptoms.
ReplyDeleteGreat for American Crime. High 2s?
ReplyDeleteLol, people really like the odd couple smh
So another 1.9 for Backstrom? It has a two week break now so that's no way going to help it.
ReplyDeletePeople should remember that The Millers rose 0.2 from episode 2 to episode 3. We all know how that turned out. I am not saying this isn't a positive for The Odd Couple, it could very well be, but it may also be insignificant in the long run. I don't honestly know how to judge the show, it is so hard with the big bang lead-in.
ReplyDeletePerhaps, but I'm guessing those are the ones who dropped at the half. Younger viewers aren't going to get into the topics which this show touched on.
ReplyDeleteThe Millers also rose from episode 2 to episode 3.
ReplyDeleteI didn't like the male lead at all and the female detective was annoying and off-putting.
ReplyDeleteAlso, not enough KaDee Stickland (the wife).
You mean 0.9?
ReplyDeleteI do. Silly me.
ReplyDeleteI thought Ryan was very good and captivating. He made his character very relatable imo. But if you didn't enjoy his performance then I understand why you wouldn't enjoy the show since he was such a huge part of it. The female detective was supposed to be off-putting I believe.
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone know if Geena Davis arc on GA is finished b/c I have enjoyed it a lot
ReplyDeleteHTGWM got a 2.9 last week and it says that it's just 8 percent below that which I'm guessing is around a 2.5 to 2.7
ReplyDelete"Comparably, this was just eight percent below the 6.6/12 for the
ReplyDeleteseason-finale of former time period occupant “How I Met Your Mother”
last week"
Why doesn't TVMediaInsights edit their articles before print? This should never be in a final print.
True, but consider that TBBT last year was hovering above 5s, while now it doing mids 4s. The fact that The Odd Couple is doing low 3-high 2s on the slot with a lower TBBT already posses it as a better time slot occupant than The Millers.
ReplyDeleteStill no,Herman got blind now.
ReplyDeletetotally disagree
ReplyDeleteThanks for the spoiler...
ReplyDeleteYes, the detective might have been off-putting on purpose but the whole 'aloof' thing threw me off.
ReplyDeleteAnd Ryan's character was even worse with the his constant need to reach out to the mother of the dead kid. Was a bit too much, for me.
Is it true that two gangsters In American crime were watching TV and they were actually watching revenge? I heard the rumor
ReplyDeleteOh yeah, for sure I think it is an improvement on The Millers but that was one of the biggest flops CBS has aired comedy wise in the last years so that really isn't saying much. It is actually hard to be as weak as the millers. My point wasn't saying that, was just saying that week to week fluctuations (growth or not) for comedies in a pimped slot like this is probably more irrelevant than for normal shows since it could simply be the result of a higher result from the lead-in, people changing the channel later on, etc.
ReplyDeleteHow was scandal last night, I will watch it tonight before i watch empire and the 100 from this week
ReplyDeleteYes. Season 3 Episode 10
ReplyDeleteof course they are not because the truly believe stuff that happens on HTGAWM could happen in real life & that they would get away with it
ReplyDeleteThat is hilarious ::D
ReplyDeleteCould be, but I certainly expected to drop more this week, so it caught me a bit off guard that its ratings actually increased. It is a matter of expectation
ReplyDeleteIt's AMAZING.
ReplyDeleteThey explain in the second hour why is he always reaching out to her (I don't know if you watched the second hour or not). In any case, I fully understand it isn't a show for everyone, but I enjoy it.
ReplyDeleteThe Blacklist is slowly finding itself on Thursdays. In the fall, if they put Neil Patrick Harris at 8 PM and something new that viewers will watch at 10 PM, then they've sorted out their Thursdays. Now they have to figure out their Wednesdays.
ReplyDeleteI thought it was one of its strongest episodes; it was a standalone, but a very powerful one
ReplyDeleteNo, I didn't. I just watched the first episode and didn't bother with the second.
ReplyDeleteBut I might go and watch second then.
Great to hear :) I guess people really prefer olivia as the fixer. But pls no spoilers
ReplyDeleteRevenge has NOTHING to do with OUAT
ReplyDeleteI almost lost my sh** when I saw it. And they were watching "Exodus" of all episodes! (one of my favorites)
ReplyDeleteI was afraid that the episode would be a bust. lol
ReplyDeleteI haven't watched it yet either, but Empire was amazing. Maybe my favorite episode to date, I don't know. I only started watching it because of all the success and the first episodes were okay but not amazing to me, but now I am completely hooked. Even the songs, I am always singing them unconsciously lol. I am very much hooked to that thing!
ReplyDeletePromotion seriously?? I saw two commercials
ReplyDeleteAt first I thought ABC was just prepping American Crime's launch and that it would serve just that purpose, but I felt it was so much more! It was incredible
ReplyDeleteSo cool. Ashame they did not show the revenge sign or sth like that which would have promoted it :D
ReplyDeleteAm I the only person that fell asleep through the first episode? Aside from Taraji and Cookie, it was nothing that jumped to attention.
ReplyDeleteThen you must not watch ABC very often.
ReplyDeleteHope you will enjoy it,it's a powerful episode.
ReplyDeleteWell, at least the people who watched American Crime had the chance to see Revenge on screen, so does that count as cross promotion?
ReplyDeleteWelk i guess we will be both watching scandal tonight ;) and i am all ready for sunday!
ReplyDeleteThey may not share the genre or the style but they share the same pacing and twisted storyline. Both are relatively young skewing. American Crime wouldn't have any of those things.
ReplyDeleteI am sure i will
ReplyDeleteIt was the scene when Daniel shot Emily.
ReplyDeleteI watched the first episode and I truly felt it wasn't my cup of tea.
ReplyDeleteIt wasn't bad, it just didn't appeal to me
I actually heard that they had plenty of promos for revenge during AC and Scandal last night
ReplyDeleteWell give it a try if you feel like it then! But Ryan really is a huge part of the show so I am not sure if you can get past not liking him. But try it out.
ReplyDeleteYes it does :D do you think john ridley watches it?
ReplyDeleteAwesome! That is what makes the show so good, those Kind of moments
ReplyDeleteHow I Murdered your Mother
ReplyDeleteHow to get away with the mother
That must explain why he choose to play revenge in the background
ReplyDeleteReally?! Great!!!! did anyone see them?
ReplyDeleteThat is really cool! I may like American Crime a bit more just for doing that :P
ReplyDeleteWhen I watched it I was like "HOLY SH**" and somewhere in my mind I hoped this would help Revenge's ratings this Sunday, but that's just wishful thinking
ReplyDeleteIt was just a mess. Not even a hot mess, it was just a mess.
ReplyDeleteNot even Taraji saved that for me.
What has been your favorite Song. Mine is " You're so beautiful" !!
ReplyDeleteHow I Murdered your Mother could have been the title of the show considering how it ended. It would have gave it a darker tone too
ReplyDeleteYeah :D
ReplyDeleteI liked Jamal right away and I found Terrence Howard's performance terrific too but the show really gets much better, even Taraji herself. But it's a soap, so it is not for everyone's tastes. But right now I am completely hooked to the Lyon family and their weird dynamics, it is very absorbing.
ReplyDeleteWas revenge promoted in commercials as Aciel has said?
ReplyDeleteIt's a soap, so it is not for everyone's tastes. But right now I am
ReplyDeletecompletely hooked to the Lyon family and their weird dynamics, it is
very absorbing. And the show gets much, much better throughout the season in my opinion. I found it just okay first but now I am really crazy with it.
I don't think that their new promos but at least it got some promotion
ReplyDeleteSame lol. I am always singing that thing. I also like No Apologies.
ReplyDeleteI like soaps. I live for soaps.
ReplyDeleteHell, I love Scandal and I loved Revenge once upon a time.
But 'Empire' isn't for me. It's just a glorified mess. There's no substance to it.
Saw the odd couple
ReplyDelete3weeks in and I m disappointed.
It is surviving mainly cuz of post TBBT slot.
I think Revenge should at least go higher than 1 when it returns unless Secrets and Lies completely craters which I doubt given how stable it was across all half hours.
ReplyDeleteEmpire's a mess, but Scandal isn't?? Both are Soaps...
ReplyDeleteI like soaps, I watch plenty - Revenge and Scandal, for instance -, but this one in particular simply didn't appeal to me. I got what the show was trying to do, and I honestly liked Cookie as a character, but it just wasn't enough. I felt the pilot was a bit lifeless, to be honest, likle it lacked the spark Revenge and Scandal have. I like soaps when I feel an intense spark of high stakes and I just didn't feel that with Empire
ReplyDeleteYes definitely!
ReplyDeleteScandal was a much better show in its first two seasons than Empire has ever bene.
ReplyDeleteNo substance? I really don't get that one about the show, but to each his own. And I consider Empire way soapier than any of those two, which are two of my favorite shows on TV but I believe are way more thrillers than soaps, though both have soapy elements especially Revenge
ReplyDeleteEmpire is a "real" soap like Dallas or Dynasty.
ReplyDeleteI hope so, at this point I would even be happy with a 1.1
ReplyDeleteTop 25 Markets 18-49 Demo Ratings have been posted
ReplyDeleteEmpire is entirely about the Lyon family - those 5 people and their complicated and messy relationships. Simple as that. The stakes are their relationships. So if you need an external element to elevate the stakes I don't think you will find it there. They have it in some episodes (the one this week had it in spades), but it isn't the center of the thing. It's a family drama at the core.
ReplyDeleteI think people need to know what the difference between a soap opera (Empire) and a show with soapy ements (Revenge, Scandal) is
ReplyDeleteYes, no substance. I, for one, didn't see any in the first episode but who knows.
ReplyDeleteBackstrom, ugh... (And I'm being nice.)
ReplyDeleteSo, 1.0 or 1.1?
Scandal as ripped straight from the headlines - no creativity there from writers. Also, For someone (Olivia) who was just kidnapped and feared for her life, there was no sign of what she went through in the prior episode. Okay... her hand was shaking for one second. But no ramification or ptsd from the ordeal? Back to work? Then she takes the father to White House to see the man she just blamed and there her ring at? This story didn't make ANY sense to the storyline, but I guess people don't care about continuity.
ReplyDeleteAmerican Crime, stay there. YOU CAN'T GO LOWER.
ReplyDeleteDo you mean lower in the actual ratings or lower during the whole season?
ReplyDeleteIn the actual ratings.
ReplyDeleteHow can you say that when you've only watched one episode of Empire??
ReplyDeleteGreat top 25 numbers for Greys, Scandal and TBBT. The Blacklist looks like its steady and that's good. Get up to that 2.0! American Crime debuted "meh".
ReplyDeleteI think that may be the problem. I mean, what's the worst that can happen? Jamal's music career failing? Those are pretty low stakes for my standards.
ReplyDeleteIn order to connect with Empire, you have to connect with the family drama at its core, and I just didn't. I've connected with some other family dramas in the past, but there's something that didn't work for me with Empire... maybe it's that Cookie is the only character that I could give a damn... and well, Jamal to an extent, but I felt he was lacking a bit of personality yet I understood that's what the show wanted to do - after all, the poor guy has been mistreated by his father since day 1.
I think I'll let Empire pass; let the people who enjoy it keep enjoying while I give myself time for another show :)
It looks like Scandal will hover around low 3's and that Grey's will be around mid 2's.
ReplyDeleteThe Blacklist looks like another 1.7, maybe.
Does TBL go up or down for Top 25?
ReplyDeleteI will rephrase it: Scandal's pilot was miles better than Empire's.
ReplyDeleteDown.
ReplyDeleteGuesses based entirely on top 25 results:
ReplyDelete- Grey's Anatomy: 2.4-2.5
- Scandal: 3.1
- American Crime: No idea. Maybe a 2.3 if it operates like GA and Scandal but could vary a lot.
- Big Bang: 4.6-4.7
- The Odd Couple: 3.3 (Seems too high to me, but well)
- Mom: 2.3
- Elementary: 1.1-1.2
- The Slap: No Clue
- The Blacklist: 1.7-1.8
- Allegiance: 0.6-0.7
- American Idol: 2.2
- Backstorm: 1.1-1.2
Sadly I think it will go lower and we will both loose.
ReplyDeleteDoes it stay steady sometimes?
ReplyDeleteLower than I expected for American Crime, but not bad
ReplyDeleteNot usually, no. it usually goes down.
ReplyDeleteYou really root against it. I expect 1.1-1.2
ReplyDeleteShe wants Bones back. lol
ReplyDeleteOuch american crime
ReplyDeleteNot really "ouch", but underwhelming considering its promotion
ReplyDeleteI think that a 2.4 is pretty good.
ReplyDeleteI changed my comment already ;)
ReplyDeleteI changed my comment ;)
ReplyDeletemom better not go under 2
ReplyDeleteCBS shows usually go up from top 25, I don't think it will
ReplyDelete:(
ReplyDeleteFor me the stakes, like you put it, the worst that can happen are their relationships being harmed and what happens among them. Also, I understand that in the first episodes you only care about Cookie and Jamal (I liked Jamal a lot right away), are probably indifferent about Lucious and Andre and are annoyed with Hakeem. But they redeem Hakeem and he becomes ok ad more interesting, Andre goes front and center in recent episodes and becomes an explosive interesting character and Lucious is just a hell of a complex character all the way with his actions and search for power and love at the same time, with an Emmy worthy performance from Terrrence Howard behind it. But like I said, I don't think it is for everyone. And the main goal of the show is really to entertain, not to leave you thinking or theorizing or anything like that, which happens on the other shows. And it does that job very well, it is a damn entertaining hour, to me at least ;)
ReplyDeleteBut well, there isn't a shortage of great shows going around, so if it doesn't appeal to you, I think you are making the right thing in looking elsewhere )
Well it won't be coming back any earlier now since American Idol is 2 hours for the next 2 weeks.
ReplyDeleteI expect a 2.3. At worse maybe a 2.2. I think it did very well.
ReplyDeletethanks :)
ReplyDeleteYou stopped watching OUAT?
ReplyDeleteNo.... What makes you think that?
ReplyDeleteyou said loved
ReplyDeleteI loved Revenge once upon a time.
ReplyDeleteThat is, once, I loved Revenge. I don't love it anymore.
i just misunderstood u
ReplyDeleteThe Blacklist! \o/
ReplyDeleteI think I may have liked Empire better if it had been a bit more thought provoking, but that's ok, it's not what the show is aiming to and it's obviously succeeding at entertaining (after all, people really love the show). So maaaaybe I could check out one or two more episodes, but I don't feel like it, at least not right now, so I'll be checking out some other shows that have been on my waiting list (like Sherlock and Reign)
ReplyDeleteNo problem :)
ReplyDeleteUp from last week and out of a repeat. Mom is doing a respectable job at its timeslot
ReplyDeletethat "no substance" is hilarious! Because if you actually WATCHED the show, you'd see that it's tackling real issue with Homophobia, Mental Illness, abandonment, etc... You probably are the only person on EARTH that would say Empire is a show with NO SUBSTANCE! But Okay...
ReplyDeleteBackstrom is a rollercoaster in ratings goes up,down,I dont know what is its real audience.
ReplyDeleteI understand it ;)
ReplyDeleteNBC needs to move The Slap and Allegiance to Saturdays and give two shows that can at least do decent on Thursdays.
ReplyDeleteI'd move Grimm after The Blacklist, and air anything before it, heck, even repeats of previous Blacklist episodes may help more
I would air Game Night in there. It should get a 1.0, maybe a 1.2 on good nights. And yes, Grimm at 10pm.
ReplyDeleteHow could he make that kind of a mistake?
ReplyDeleteThey should move Allegiance to 9, it would hold more of The Vampire Diaries' lead-in than Reign.
ReplyDeleteOh wait...
Top 25s aren't that great for American Crime. It skewed old as expected.
ReplyDeleteThat's probably the best move NBC has right now. Next season they can actually schedule something that allows the night to work, but for now they need to do damage control. Grimm can pull mid 1s out of The Blacklist, I'm sure of it. And with Game Night no the night, I think they can survive the night and help The Blacklist hit low 2s
ReplyDeleteAmerican Crime didnt do good,it had great leadin, good timeslot with no competition at all and big promotion.
ReplyDeleteI'm laughing so hard for Marc mixing up HIMYM wih HTGAWM. He just made himself even more ridiculous.
ReplyDeleteI hope for at least a 2.0 for Mom!
ReplyDeleteI don't know how he made that mistake. Aside from the "how" at the beginning the titles are vastly different
ReplyDeleteDo you think they should have aired a new PD on Wednesday?
ReplyDeleteThat's underwhelming for American Crime. After all that promotion, I was expecting more.
ReplyDeleteI've been trying to forget about HIMYM but it keeps coming at me in unexpected places.
I wonder which comedy CBS will use as lead-in to Mom next season, if sticks to its current slot.
I don't know, there was no way to know a clip show of The Voice was going to hit 2s
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure if that is great for Scandal and Greys. I hope so.
ReplyDeleteProbably not since there was Cyber premiere and all and probably wasn't worth the risk but I would have aired a new Laura. In any case, I gotta say I really didn't think a voice repeat would do that high against idol and empire so I am not sure if I would have bothered in advance.
ReplyDeleteLooks fine, Grey's seems to have increased from last week, and Scandal seems to do business as usual
ReplyDeleteI think the 9pm will be Mom and Odd Couple in some combination. That way, the big bang theory essentially launches two new comedies (one Mondays at 8h30, the other Thursdays 8h30), Mike and Molly is kept as reserve again though it really doesn't deserve it and 2 Broke Girls keeps the slot.
ReplyDeleteIt was an incredible show, grab some tissues that's all I'll say.
ReplyDeleteum some haven't watched it yet and you're spoiling it
ReplyDeleteThey have been promoting the hell out of this show.
ReplyDeleteNot all of my reasons are because of Bones. I happen to really, really dislike the show...and I just want it to go away!
ReplyDeleteThis!!
ReplyDeleteTotally agree with not fitting into TGIT. People want twist and turns etc, like HTGAWM.
ReplyDeleteMore importantly for CBS, Mom is doing fine at 9:30. It can keep this sitcom block alive for next season in some way. My guess is that it launches a new show at 9:00 and keeps the other three shows the same.
ReplyDeleteBut Elementary? My guess is that it moves. No sense in wasting the time slot. I'll probably go to Fridays or Sundays.
Agreed. I'd much rather watch that than AC.
ReplyDeleteI definitely do. lol
ReplyDeleteShe is not listed as guest in the next two episodes, so I think it is. I think they will drop Herman's name around, but we won't be seeing her again.
ReplyDeleteoops... sorry. lol
ReplyDeleteLooks like Crime skewed old.
ReplyDeleteI know that, but that's not the point.
ReplyDeleteThe real test for TCO will be when it airs after a TBBT repeat. CBS is trying to put off that happening as long as they can, tho.
ReplyDeleteNBC emergency schedule:
ReplyDeleteMON: The Voice/The Mysteries of Laura
TUE The Voice/Undateable/One Big Happy/Chicago Fire
WED: Dateline/SVU/Chicago PD
THU: Hollywood Game Night/The Blacklist/Grimm
Burn-off friday: Dateline/The Night Shift/The Slap
Burn-off saturdays: Allegiance doubled-up (avoiding more Dateline)
SUN: The Voice(r)/A.D./Dateline*
*3 hours to a newsmagazine, could be some SNL recaps
TMoL after TV? I really don't see that happening.
ReplyDeleteAnd you are forgetting Allegiance.
OT: I was really hoping NBC would use The Voice finale as lead-in for Heroes Reborn but I don't see that happening now. They haven't even announced the full cast yet, unless they have already done the casting and are keeping it under wraps.
ReplyDeleteI know. Lol
ReplyDeleteI thought Revenge was a soap opera with genre elements
ReplyDeleteAmerican Crime should be on cable. People don't watch that type of show on network TV.
ReplyDeleteProps for ABC for trying something different, but I don't think it will work out for them.
ReplyDeleteWhere's Odyssey? He went to Emerald City?
ReplyDeleteI have been trying to forgot about this show, but it keeps coming back at me.
ReplyDeleteHope Mom stays above 2.0
ReplyDeleteElementary needs to move.Fridays or Sundays?
ReplyDeleteMe too. Another funny episode and touching episode. Octavia Spencer and Jamie Presley were great.
ReplyDeleteI do,
ReplyDelete*Majority of people.
ReplyDeleteLol.
ReplyDeleteI should've explained about Mondays and Sundays, I would give The Mysteries of Laura a post-Voice tryout keeping it in case it does well.
In case it doesn't, it goes back to wednesdays and Odyssey takes the post-Voice slot, levaing sundays at 10 with nothing, but I mixed both schedules.
Older people watch tv as well & like well written programming, older people as well have more money to spend, and the advertisers know this
ReplyDeleteSunday after TGW.
ReplyDeleteAgree,it is the slot CBS will probably give it.
