Ratings Breakdown:
There were two series premieres last night (NBC sitcom “One Big Happy” and CW drama “iZombie”) and the sophomore season-premiere of comedy “Undateable” on NBC, which proves that lead-in still matters a great deal.
Airing out of “The Voice” (#1: 8.2 rating/13 share from 8-9 p.m.), “Undateable” returned with a 4.3/ 7 in the household overnights in the 9 p.m. half-hour. Comparably, this ranked second behind an encore of competing “NCIS: New Orleans” on CBS (5.8/ 9 from 9-10 p.m.), and the overnight retention out of the 8:30 p.m. portion of “The Voice” was 49 percent. With the support from “The Voice,” however, “Undateable” built by a hefty 48 percent from its series-premiere (2.7/ 5 on Thursday 5/29/14 at 9 p.m. out of “Hollywood Game Night”). And “Undateable” is poised for dominance in the time period in adults 18-49 and all the key young adult demographics. So, NBC did indeed get this very worthy sitcom sampled in season two.
Once year earlier, former time period occupant “About a Boy” was also promising, with a 4.8/ 7 in the overnights out of an 8.6/13 for the 8:30 p.m. portion of “The Voice.” But out of failed “Marry Me” in the Tuesday 9:30 p.m. half-hour this season, ratings plummeted. Keep that in mind.
On NBC at 9:30 p.m. was the series-premiere of “One Big Happy,” which held a solid 88 percent of the “Undateable” lead-in with a second-place 3.8/ 6. Comparably, this was equal to short-lived year-ago time period occupant “Growing Up Fisher.” And it more than doubled the overnight performance of Fox’s competing “The Mindy Project” (#4t, 1.5/ 2), which did not benefit out of an encore of fading “New Girl” (#5: 1.1/ 2 at 9 p.m.).
“One Big Happy” led into a dominant 4.8/ 8 for “Chicago Fire” in the 10 p.m. hour, which bested encore episodes of competing “Person of Interest” on CBS (#2: 3.5/ 6) and “Forever” on ABC (#3: 2.0/ 3) by 37 percent and 140 percent, respectively. One week earlier, “Chicago Fire” was stronger at a 5.6/10 in the overnights thanks to a two-hour installment of “The Voice” on the evening. The moral of the story: lead-in still matters, and it always will. Do not be fooled.
In the night’s second series-premiere, CW drama ‘iZombie” scored a modest 1.6/ 2 in household overnights from 9-10 p.m., which was 16 percent below the 1.9/ 5 for the season-premiere of former time period occupant “Supernatural” on 10/07/14. But overnight retention of 59 percent for “iZombie” out of lead-in “The Flash” (#3t, 2.7/ 4 from 8-9 p.m.) was slightly better than the 56 percent for “Supernatural” out of “The Flash” on that October evening. Let’s wait and see what the young adult demos look like.
Elsewhere, CBS populated this third Tuesday in March with encore airings of “NCIS” (#2: 6.1/10), and aforementioned “NCIS: New Orleans” (#1: 5.8/ 9) and tired “Person of Interest” (#2: 3.5/ 6). ABC aired repeats of “Fresh Off the Boat” (#3t, 2.7/ 5) and “Repeat After Me” (#5: 1.8/ 3) from 8-9 p.m. into demo-friendly “Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD” (#3: 2.9/ 5) and the aforementioned repeat of “Forever” (#3: 2.0/ 3) from 9-11 p.m. And quiet “Hell’s Kitchen” on Fox scored a 2.7/ 4 from 8-9 p.m. (#3t), which was one-tenth of a rating point behind the 2.8/ 4 one week earlier (which translated into 3.52 million viewers and a 1.3 rating/4 share among adults 18-49, based on the Live Plus Same Day data). “Hell’s Kitchen” is definitely losing steam.

I expected much higher for iZombie :(
ReplyDeleteMe too.
ReplyDeleteI don't get how Marc can label at 4.3 out of a 8.2 as promising. Barely 50% retention. About a Boy a year earlier premiered 12% higher...I guess demo should be around 1.9-2.2 for Undateable and 1.5-1.8 for One Big Mess.
ReplyDelete49% is promising?
ReplyDeleteLast year, The 100 premiered with a 1.9/3 so iZombie did lower. They probably skew differently though.
ReplyDeleteI know all shows are different, especially when it comes to HH, but Mindy scored a 1.5/2 last week and came out with a .9. Maybe if iZombie skews like that, it can get in the .9-1.0 range which was my guess for it anyway. thought I know chances are slim with it being different shows, different networks and etc.
ReplyDeleteAgree, Marry Me premiered to 5.1 HH and about a boy was 4.8
ReplyDeleteWhat's irritating is that he did not even give a category to The Flash; yet those 2 comedies DID!
ReplyDeleteI agree, Marc's clear bias is showing in regards to Undateable being "promising." Its very likely that its initial first minute hold from the Voice will be equal, if not less than, the 1.7 The Night Shift receives currently.
ReplyDeleteMm this is the first time Flash wasn't listed as a winner. Did it go down?
ReplyDeleteNew Girl was a repeat. Solid research, Marc.
ReplyDeleteRegardless it looks to have tripled the S1 finale. OBH will probably tank next week, I've only heard terrible things about it.
ReplyDeleteIt was even from a month ago based on overnights. He forgot to put it as the winners category.
ReplyDeleteMe 2, Bill. I've heard it was unfunny.
ReplyDeleteHow is 49% retention promising ??
ReplyDeleteSo biases
aah okay. I wasn't sure what the overnights were from last month
ReplyDeleteNo Problem at all.
ReplyDeleteExactly. Just because it's up from it's summer run doesn't make it promising.
ReplyDeleteSo Chicago Fire beat both comedies in HHs. That's just a normal day in the life of this show.
ReplyDeleteAs for Undateable and One Big Happy, it depends on how young it skews. If Undateable pulls a 2.0, it is very promising. Especially since The Night Shift pulled two straight 1.3s after The Voice. And NBC has to be happy One Big Happy didn't completely bomb out of the gate considering what About A Boy has done in that timeslot.
iZombie did OK for CW, but I'm thinking that CW thought it would perform better.
To Marc Berman:
ReplyDeleteI hope iZombie can get 0.8 based on this
ReplyDeleteBah I wish that was a typo for iZombie, still that could be a 1.0, hopefully it can rise like a phoenix. Out of the ashes... oh yeah people here most likely don't know Eurovision. Anyway, like Empire maybe. lolol
ReplyDeleteHe mentioned it was an encore.
ReplyDeleteThe real test of how Undateable did would be its rating in the last few minutes.
ReplyDeleteI actually quite liked it, so i am surprised by all the bad reviews etc.
ReplyDeleteI agree. If Undateable was an hour long show, I think with its poor retention, you'd see a drop off mirroring the Night Shift at the halves. But, with NBC's poor showing of comedies, maybe that's acceptable.
ReplyDeleteTop 25 Markets 18-49 Demo Ratings have been posted
ReplyDeleteCan't see them?
ReplyDeleteHit refresh
ReplyDeleteRefresh
ReplyDeleteOkay, that's look decent for NBC comedies. What did AoS get last week in the T25?
ReplyDeleteWhat are they?
ReplyDeleteCan't you see the table?
ReplyDeleteNo I am on a phone device
ReplyDeleteThats not the start they wanted for Izombie, but good for nbc
ReplyDelete2.0/1.7
ReplyDeleteLooks decent for NBC overall. They'll be happy with that night.
ReplyDeletedoes your phone not rotate?
ReplyDeleteI can seem them on my phone.
ReplyDeleteOk for NBC comedies but how much will they go down in finals
ReplyDeleteI hoping that iZombie does not drop from the Top 25...
ReplyDeleteHmmm seems a bit low for Flash in top 25
ReplyDelete"But overnight retention of 59 percent for “iZombie” out of lead-in “The Flash” (#3t, 2.7/ 4 from 8-9 p.m.) was slightly better than the 56 percent for “Supernatural” out of “The Flash” on that October evening"
ReplyDeleteLol, did he just compare premier of 10yo show and series premier?
Anyway, seems like iZomie did OK, I suspect 0.8-0.9. Which is similar to T100 premier. The real test would be next few weeks. If it can stay 0.6-ish, it will be save.
One more prove that lead-in does not work well on CW.
1.7 for SHIELD T25 last week
ReplyDeleteIt has the same problems SPN had - AoS as a competitor, and a lead-in that is not going to bring any great crossover. As with Veronica Mars, some people assume Rob Thomas casting snappy patter blondes will bring in big viewers, but it's tough.
ReplyDeleteI hope it does well in the demos, but even if it does, I still won't believe that the Flash is some fantastic lead-in. Flash is the new TVD in overhyped lead-in stakes.
AoS same as the last week in top25. Just don't go below 1.5, please.
ReplyDeleteIf I remember correctly, the 100 premiered with the 0.9 last year? If IZombie holds that top25 number I guess it's okay, but I think CW expected higher. I still have to watch it.
Awesome ratings for NBC's multicams. I think Undateable will hold up well too for the rest of the season.
ReplyDeleteMarch madness + DST. It will be even worse for Arrow today because Arrow will have Empire finale too.
ReplyDeleteIs it true the flash was amazing last night? I will watch tonight
ReplyDeleteI know CBS was in repeats, but the top 25 numbers look low even for them. Wasn't it just last year an encore of a procedural could do mid 1s?
ReplyDeleteI think the title hurts it. Title matters.
ReplyDeleteAgree. All that " great lean-in " hype is not working for CW. None of the CW's hits were able to help new show start-up. All their hits were self-starters with SPN as a lead-out. Cross-overs are different story, look how Arrow benefited from it.
ReplyDeleteUndateable should hold close to that. One Big Happy probably will struggle to hold and that needs to be NBC's focus right now.
ReplyDelete1.7 the same. But it usually gets 1.7 in top 25 but the final 18-49 varies too much. Sometimes it keeps the 1.7 others it falls to 1.4 prelim. Shield is very hard to guess from just the top 25. However last week household it got a 2.8/4 and this week a 2.9/5 if that means something.
ReplyDeleteProbably not much. Aside from that if Undateable premiers above a 1.7 it will be NBC's #2 comedy premier of the season.
ReplyDeleteIt was St. Patrick's Day. Expect ratings to be slightly lower than what they would be normally as people are at social events.
ReplyDeleteWill see. Though Flash usually drops in the 18-49. Arrow managed to actually keep the top 25 numbers when 18-49 numbers came out. So i am expecting a drop.
ReplyDelete2.0 out of a 3.1 lead in is not bad retention.
ReplyDeleteEven One Big Happy's 1.7 is better retention than NBC's other post-Voice shows.
I think with zombies still doing well in pop culture, the title could have been OK. It's mostly just timeslot and perhaps a feeling that the whole thing was a little too cute.
ReplyDeleteThat's true. I completely forgot.
ReplyDeleteAnd the 1.6 is Chicago Fire's highest top 25 outside of The Voice lead in since January. This lineup worked.
ReplyDeleteWe all did. They promoted the shit out of it. I assume around 0,8 maybe higher.
ReplyDeleteI don't know if you watched both last night, but Undateable had an amazing episode.
ReplyDeleteThere was a lot of positive feedback on social media for it as well.
1) The Voice tends to grow at the half hour.. 2) the others (and myself) are right... 49% retention for any show with the Voice is not good.
ReplyDeleteI said it over and over when people were insisting that they were "wasting a valuable lead in" with Flash. High ratings doesn't = good lead in every time. I imagine a lot of Flash viewers get right on their computer. As you said, crossovers help, but that isn't the same as a show airing right after.
ReplyDeleteShield ratings are not good but when I see it pulling a 1.7 top 25 in a night where it was completely alone to hold it by itself with a 0.7 lead in, I'm impressed. Then I remember how it pulled a 1.8 18-49 when it had a Shark Tank good lead in and I wonder what ABC is doing with such a dependable show.
ReplyDeleteI did watch Undateable and it was a great episode. I wouldn't be surprised if it grew next week as last night was St. Patrick's Day. Even The Voice was down last night. Regardless, Undateable has a good shot at getting a Tuesday home in the fall as long as it doesn't tank in the upcoming weeks.
ReplyDeleteIt had a 1.7 the week before and pulled a 1.6.
ReplyDeleteThe fact that it is up a little bit makes me less apprehensive.
ReplyDeleteScorpion repeat went from a 0.9 top 25 to a 1.3, so they'll probs adjust up a bit
ReplyDeleteIt had 49% retention from HH, but it's demo retention was much better at about a 65%.
ReplyDeleteUndateable skewed very young which is great for the network.
Last week it was 1.7 (top25) - 1.4 (fast nat) - 1.5 (final), that's what I'm afraid of. But it's slightly up in HH. I don't know what will be now.
ReplyDelete"Undateable skewed very young which is great for the network"
ReplyDeleteAnd One Big Happy skewed even younger. Both should hit younger females well, which will help the 10 PM timeslot eventually skew younger as they funnel to the timeslot.
I'm talking the week before that, it would be last last week, it also got a 1.7 top 25 and a 1.6 in the final 18-49.
ReplyDeleteI think that's partially the Bridgit Mendler affect too.
ReplyDeleteShe probably brought a lot of her young female fanbase from Disney with her to Undateable.
Oh before-before. :D Sorry. Yes, it can be 1.6, that would be really nice.
ReplyDeletePretty low for iZombie.
ReplyDeleteThis. I love Veronica Mars and Party Down.. but iZombie makes this sound like a Disney Channel show. It's put me off right from the get-go.
ReplyDeleteAgreed. It was very good casting. We'll have to see how Undateable holds, but NBC may have just figured out their Tuesday at 9:30 PM problem next fall. I don't see it having the same problem About a Boy did keeping an audience around for a second season since the concept is much broader.
ReplyDeleteYes! It was the best episode so far...
ReplyDeleteHoping for better regarding iZombie. But it was St. Patrick's, so there's that; i didn't watch it till this morning, since i was also getting filled with beer Jajajaja
ReplyDeletePretty good for NBC comedies. I wish they were like five tenths higher though LOL
ReplyDeleteGood for Shield and The Flash and OK for iZombie.
demo-friendly for AOS? What the heck?
ReplyDeleteIt's ratings suck... another 1.5 is not going to renew it!
Watch it go and get renewed.
ReplyDeleteIKR! What the heck?
ReplyDeleteThose ratings are what's going to get it cancelled.
A 1.5 is still decent enough for a renewal, especially if it's a veteran show
ReplyDeleteAOs will be renewed,it does well in DVr & young male demos & is a ad for Marvel movies and it's owned by Disney plus ABC has AC,S& L,Resserrction,Revenge,a forever doing worse
ReplyDeleteHas the data all come in?
ReplyDelete#FanExcuseBingo
ReplyDeleteOf course it will be renewed. You must be a little unfamiliar with Ratings.
ReplyDeleteCheck out the Ratings FAQ.
Undateable-1.9
ReplyDeleteOne big happy-1.6
CF-1,6
ReplyDeleteI was going to post that.
ReplyDeleteDecent for NBC comedies
ReplyDeleteFOTB (R): 1.0
ReplyDeleteRAFM (R): 0.7
SHIELD: 1.6
Forever (R): 0.7
The Flash: 1.2
ReplyDeleteiZombie: 0.9
Ratings are now in the table
ReplyDeleteNice night for NBC.
ReplyDeleteFlash 1.2
ReplyDeleteizombie 0.9
It was decent not great
ReplyDeleteNot that bad for iZombie
ReplyDeleteAOS 1.6
ReplyDeleteyeah flash going to take that demo right away from Izombie to adjust up.
ReplyDeleteNope, truth.Plus I'm not Evrn a fan.Shows aren't always based sley on ratings
ReplyDelete0.9 out of 1.2 is actually pretty good. I hope it won't go lower than 0,7
ReplyDeleteWinners: The Voice, Undateable, The Flash
ReplyDeleteHonorable Mention: iZombie, Chicago Fire, One Big Happy
Losers: The Mindy Project
brilliant response. Can we start #hatersexcusebingo?
ReplyDeleteDecent for NBC comedies and iZombie.
ReplyDeleteAoS better not adjust down.
Ouch for The Flash!
Izombie was not bad at all hopefully it adjusts up.
ReplyDeleteNot bad for IZombie, but it'll depend on where it levels off at
ReplyDeleteWe'll find out when The Flash is a rerun.
ReplyDeleteReally bad for The Flash
ReplyDeleteTo avoid any confusion maybe it should just be #haterexcusebingo :P
ReplyDeletewe have to wait and see how ep2 and ep3 .except empire every show had a two tenth down.i still think its a good no considering how jtv did
ReplyDeleteYou might wanna rethink that hashtag.
ReplyDeletehave not followed the ratings, is the drop that harsh?
ReplyDeleteHow is that a fan excuse?
ReplyDeleteI don't get NCIS or NCIS: NO's repeat ratings at all. NCIS falls nearly 1 million in viewers and 0.1 in the demo from 2 weeks ago while NCIS: NO gains 500,000 in viewers, 0.1 in the demo and beats NCIS in Adults 18-34 and Adults 25-54. Weird.
ReplyDeleteIt dropped 3 tenths from previous episode.
ReplyDeleteSo the CW spring slump is in full force, do we think arrow will go below the 1.0 tonight, spn is already on the decline so another 0.8 or 0.7 for them and then tvd and reign are prob not gonna go much higher than last week... AND we are not even in april yet!
ReplyDeleteoh wow
ReplyDeleteWe'll it was St. Patrick's day yesterday, so that's probably a reason why they went down.
ReplyDeleteNCIS NO didn't have The Voice to compete with I guess. It's the luckiest show in terms of scheduling. I think it should be doing better than it is
ReplyDeleteIts still not that bad, Arrow's ratings in the second half of season 1, were lower than this weren't they?.
ReplyDeleteI don't bother with viewers usually but that is a very huge spread from 2 weeks ago. St. Patrick's Day celebrations perhaps?
ReplyDeleteYep. That 1.6 last week was just plain awful.
ReplyDeleteUsing the Marvel/Disney net is an excuse, saying it's in the MCU, and it ties into the movies is an excuse.
ReplyDeleteI will leave specifics like that to people who can spell better than I can.
ReplyDeletewhatever works.
ReplyDeleteiZombie didnt do too bad, it has room to fall and still be likely to come back for another season. Next week's ratings will be the true test though if The Flash recovers somewhat in the net few weeks that could help iZombie too. Dont think the CW can complain too much considering how stupid the whole concept of the show is.
ReplyDeleteNBC comedies-dont know what to say about them, they'll likely start dropping next week and NBC will be back to square one next season. Though if they can get them enough exposure now they can move both or at least Undateables back to the summer.
Why are there any new episodes of shows airing behind repeats at this stage of the season? All networks have been guilty of poor scheduling this season.
0.9 for iZombie out of 1.2 not bad at all. iZombie had a brilliant pilot episode can't wait for the next one
ReplyDeleteThat could be it.
ReplyDeleteIt'll be interesting to see where iZombie levels off at. 0.8-0.9 was what I was expecting it to premiere too. The Messengers is the only new show this season I have left to try now.
ReplyDeleteIt was St. Patrick's day, it will adjust up
ReplyDeleteouch The Flash :( still decent ratings for CW, but I didn't expect to be so low!
ReplyDeleteiZombie, Yes! That is actually pretty solid for a midseason premiere on the CW! and as of right now it beat the Mindy Project. I hope it holds or adjusts up!
ReplyDeletearound the 0.8/0.9 mark if I remember correctly
ReplyDeleteHalf Hour anyone? especially Te Flash and iZombie
ReplyDeleteAOS didn't do so bad, I was worried iZombie might have hurt it but it seems like it was the other way round.

This is still only week 1. Also yty they are both down respectively from AAB and GUF
ReplyDeleteNo. ABC and Marvel are owned by Disney, so that is the truth, not an excuse. Plus AoS hasn't dropped to cancellation levels.
ReplyDeletewhy did I just now think of checking this on stvplus.....
ReplyDeletewhich will be when?
ReplyDeleteI did think the 18-34 of iZombie would be higher, but...oh well. Still decent.
ReplyDeleteit got 0.9 out of a 1.2 that is pretty damn good for iZombie plus it is a favorite among critics and the pilot was excellent
ReplyDeleteYay Chicago Fire
ReplyDeleteThe real tests are the next 2 weeks :)
ReplyDeleteriiiiiiiiiigghhhhhhhhttttttttttttt. Like i'll take you seriously when you've been wrong a lot of the time, and you honestly have no clue on what will be renewed for ABC. Like your opinion really matters to ABC
ReplyDeletei also liked this one.if they can just tone down luke char a bit. i think it will be better.
ReplyDeletePretty good for iZombie. Reminded me of Tru Calling a bit.
ReplyDeleteOk. Go back to TVBTN where you belong.
ReplyDeleteFlash:( Spring time is here...
ReplyDeleteiZombie fell to 0.8 in 2nd half-hour :(
ReplyDeleteFirst time this season that Person of Interest has risen in the half hour (original or repeat). Better late than never.
ReplyDeleteOuch for The Flash, but it makes iZombie's numbers look better. I expected about a .9, and while I hoped for higher, if it can retain that decently going forward, it'll do just fine. It may not be what the CW was hoping for, but I see another season in it's future, so long as it doesn't have a heavy drop, and doesn't do worse than a .5 before the end of it's run. It beat another network original, so that's not a bad start. As long as it doesn't adjust down - and I'd be surprised if The Flash didn't adjust up a tenth. That is a surprising low number
ReplyDeleteAoS, it's not great, but I will absolutely take it. Don't adjust down, and if you nudge back up a tenth, that would be lovely.
Actually, the real test will be on 7th April when it has a rerun of The Flash as a lead-in.
ReplyDeleteTrue. Here's hoping that It could have premiered higher if not for St. Patrick's day, and it rises next week.
ReplyDeleteA Man can only dream. #fanexcusebingo
Spoilertv is a lot more accurate than that silly cancellation bear is.
ReplyDeleteThey go BATB totally wrong when SpoilerTV out-scooped them, along with the flash renewal and Jane the Virgin renewals.
I trust SpoilerTv's cancellation table much more than any other,
Nobody is 100% sure. But he looks at the pattern that network makes and takes into account all the fact. Your being pretty arrogant.
ReplyDeleteThanks, so Its doing pretty well.
ReplyDelete3.55 million viewers is still fantastic viewership, no CW show even goes over 3 million these days ever, apart from Arrow in recent years.
Flash was so great last night, i was surprise it got a 1.2 but then i remember it was St. Patrick's day. It's still trending on twitter #TheFlash
ReplyDeleteWhere even the the cancellation there is still giving the show 4 smiley faces.
ReplyDelete7th April
ReplyDeleteThank god AOS 3rd highest in demo!!
ReplyDeleteP.s Live TV is a graveyard.
Me too, I think thats probably why It was St Patrick's day. I guess I was hoping for a 1.6 and 4 million viewers lol
ReplyDeleteWow, what a jerk. It's not his "opinion" but actual number and stats derived from the ratings.
ReplyDeleteI felt like it was a little eh. Like too much happened in one episode, and it should've been paved better, but it was good.
ReplyDeleteI'm so happy about 1.6 and back to over 4 million viewers! Yes AOS! Let's go up next week too!
ReplyDeleteWhy Flash so low? :( I can see it going up next week, regarding awesome episode from last night. Ok for IZombie?
The Flash. OUCH!
ReplyDeletelol yeah i was expecting at least a 1.4. Actually a lot of people on twitter are tweeting about it right now and how they are just watching it. It will be back up next week, after everybody see's last nights awesome episode
ReplyDeleteWith all the promotion it should of done better not match a ageing show. I think it will have the same problem SPN had in adjust down to it's half hour of 0.8.
ReplyDeleteYes....but halves have nothing to do with adjustments.
ReplyDeleteThis Flash episode deserves to break a record. Like 6 millions or something.
ReplyDeleteI agree, It was the best of the season and it felt like a season finale.
ReplyDeleteIKR? How are they going to top that in the finale??
ReplyDeleteNope. Get used to this rating for the rest of the season. CW shows always drop around this time. It will be 1.2-1.3 for the rest of the season
ReplyDeleteGlad AOS was up this week it deserve it and more. Sad about the flash but hey its been renewed so don't really need to worry about that and as for izombie it has not aired here but looks like a lot of fun and the ratings were not that bad for a CW show.
ReplyDeletelol i have no idea, but i bet they can do it.
ReplyDeletemaybe Shield can be still renewed at this point. Hope it doesn't adjusted down. Maybe Marvel trade mark will save it anyway. Good for CF even if down. Glad OBH is 1.6 hope it holds but don't know...
ReplyDeleteI know they can. But can you even imagine?? Do you think someone will die in the finale?
ReplyDeleteExcept when it did a 1.5 its last 2 episodes it's not that good. 3 tenth drop for a CW show from the last episode is almost unheard of.
ReplyDeleteI do think someone will die, but i have no idea who. It's going to be insane. I think Barry's going to go back and save his mother, that would change literally everything.
ReplyDeleteWow. Biggish drop for Flash. Hope it adjusts up.
ReplyDeleteI thought iZombie did great!!! I expected lower numbers and 0.9 is great. Let's see the final numbers later.
ReplyDeleteI think that he'll try to save her but he'll realize that saving her will prevent him from being a hero thus preventing him from saving a lot of people. It will be gut wrenching. I have a feeling Wells will be the one to die.
ReplyDeleteGlad AOS went up!
ReplyDeleteI thought iZombie would be higher, but those are still very decent ratings. Same as The 100 series premiere. I thought it'd do better having Flash as a lead in and because it had like zero competition. All network show at 9 were reruns except for AOS. I'm already sure it will be renewed though.
Yeah i can see that happening. I don't know if Wells' will die because he's such a big asset to the show. I actually hope he live's, i like him alot as an actor and he is awesome as reverse flash aka Eobard
ReplyDeleteI hope so too, it will go back up.
ReplyDeleteWonder if its viewership will drop below 3 million too, like Arrow did in season 1 i think?
ReplyDeleteoh and undetable yay
ReplyDeleteCW should promote more BATB and give out a S3 trailer... what are they waiting for?
ReplyDeleteII think Arrow & Flash were on one of the main Networks, they're ratings would be ridiculously high.
ReplyDeletetrue but they do tell us how many people in the demo lost interest and tuned out before the episode was over
ReplyDeleteGonna predict The Flash adjusts up and iZombie adjusts down. Curious to see if it follows the usual CW pattern and we see 0.8 this week, then 0.7, 0.6 and 0.5 the week The Flash is a repeat?
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking that too Chris that Bridgit may have brought in a lot of her fans over which is going to help this show especially when her presence is bigger on it. Several videos on YouTube have commentators saying they wanted to watch the show because of her.
ReplyDeleteI hadn't seen that for a NBC comedy in a long time, so this is positive.
ReplyDeleteThe retention looks even better behind Undateable because a lot of its future depends on how much it holds behind Undateable.
ReplyDeleteMore then ok for izombie since its a spring mid season show on the cw. Ok would be 0.7 imo
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry to say this but for a renewal they pay attention for the entire season and AOS's ratings (in the general way) are always good and in fact from the beggining of the season it gone up and attract more and more people.
