We were pointed to this tweet recently of an image one of the Pretty Little Liars writers apparently tweeted (and then removed) last November. Thanks to the fans however, the image has not been lost. The image shows season 6 as having only 20 episodes, 10 in part A and 10 in part B.

Could the 6th season of Pretty Little Liars only have 20 episodes? ABC Family has yet to officially reveal episode counts for seasons 6 and 7.
This isn't a bad thing it's actually better they had tons of fillers in season 4 and 5

This isn't so bad considering they want to do a movie after 6. Maybe it's shortened BECAUSE they said they want to shoot a film after 6?

ReplyDeleteI usually don´t like the seasons to be reduced but PLL has tons of filler episodes and most of them now are boring, so if it helps the main storyline, I appreciate it
ReplyDeleteDamn I thought I read this was the finale season. I haven't watched episodes since season 2; I'm waiting for the end so we'll have the full story. The show drags on way too much, I don't know how people stand it after this long.
ReplyDeleteI think fans of a show get really precious with the number of episodes in a season and any reduction from the norm is considered bad or an insult to the fans. 24-25 episodes in a season is ridiculous for a drama especially a serialized show.

ReplyDeleteWell it'd be even better if it had 15! And I do hope the 7th and hopefully last season is only 10 episodes long because honestly this show should have ended like 2 seasons ago and dragging it on like that is only making it even sillier than it was in the first place. Let's face it pointing fingers and casting suspicions on practically every character of the show has gotten old and is slutting the girls up the only way the writers can come up with to fill the enormous seasons of the show? I mean these girls move from one bf/gf to the next and back again in a matter of days! Or do they all wear their hearts on their sleeves? I mean it's gotten quite laughable. The minute I see a new guy talking to one of them after they've just broken up I know they'll end up kissing him soon enough!!! And don't even get me started on how could possibly teenagers like Mona (back in her A days) have access to all those resources and be omnipotent like that without anyone else ever knowing about it? Were her parents never around? :-D To cut a long story short I started watching this show because it seemed to have potential but it's turned out to be a crazy comedy that can't possibly get any more predictable!
