PS: How do you think the dynamic is going to change after that?
IMK: It's going to change a lot. Our Summer season — which is only 10 episodes long — is all about closure. Telling the final 10 episodes of this story we started many, many seasons ago. It's just sort of full steam ahead and answers, answers, answers. I mean we gave a lot of answers in our season four finale when Ali came back, but these are all the "A"-related questions. Some people have guessed the answers on multiple occasions, but all those answers will be revealed in the next 10 episodes. This is our chance to finally end this great and wonderful story.

ReplyDeleteDon't they have an entire season left after season 6?
Yeah, though they haven't mentioned if season 7 will be a full season or not.
ReplyDeleteWhy are they speaking like Season 6 will be the final season?Hello, what about season 7 or did that got scrapped sometime after the ratings dropped significantly?
ReplyDeleteBut does this mean that S6 will have 20 eps?
ReplyDeleteHuh? this sounds like season 6 is a regular season and season 7 is going to have 10 episodes.
ReplyDeleteSo season 6 will probably have 20 episodes. Still better than 25, absolutely.
ReplyDeleteRumor is the A plot will finish with 6A then 6B will start the final plot after a college time jump.
ReplyDeleteSomeone who commented in the latest PLL article from TVLine is theorizing the possibility of a massive time jump between Seasons 6 and 7 to see the Liars post-college.
ReplyDeleteHere is what may happen. At end of 6a they may think A is done for.there is time jump In 6b to post collage and then throughout 6b and season 7 a resumes and they will wonder if person they thought was a has somehow resumed or if this is new a.
ReplyDeleteI assume this will be the final A related chapter and they will start a new story or personal closing for the rest of the show.
ReplyDeleteOr the rest will deal with the liars handling the truth about who A is.
So many open questions to answer!.
ReplyDeleteWho was that 4th person joining Jenna, Chloe Bridges character and Monna in the 100th episode?
Will Bethany s killer be revealed?
This feels so messy, really messy.
I hope we get real answers at this point. Will watch the episode live tonight should be fun and not jaw dropping at all.
No, as usual, the season is split into two parts with a several month break in the middle. Normally there are 12 episodes broadcast over the summer, then a break in the fall with one episode for Halloween or whatever, and then they pick up with the remaining 11 or so episodes in the spring (This year there 25 episodes because they had a Christmas one)
ReplyDeleteThe sixth season, however, is supposed to be 20 episodes instead of 24-25, split 10 and 10 instead of 12 and 12. (or 12/1/11 if you separate the Halloween episode)
What they're saying is that the big A thing will be wrapped up in the 10 episodes that air over the summer, and when season 6 returns after their several month break for the remaining episodes, it will be a new mystery.
wait, what is happening here? they doing closure on 6A and what about 6B and season 7?
ReplyDeleteAs has been answered several times now, 6A will wrap up the A story, 6B and 7 will move to a different storyline/mystery/plot.
ReplyDeleteI read somewhile ago that we are gonna see A's story in season 6, i think this kind of confirms it.
ReplyDeleteLOL Thanks. I guess I let myself confuse by a mixture of the title, Marlene and the comments xD
ReplyDeleteI hope they do a time jump, if only because the PLL's don't look like teenagers at all (mostly the girl that plays Spencer, she looks late 20's) , so the it would be more than believable.
ReplyDeleteThe actress who plays Spencer is 29.
ReplyDeleteLOL! then she looks her age.
ReplyDeleteA"s story is being wrapped up in 6A then after that there will be a time jump to colleg etc and a new plot will start not A centered
ReplyDeleteI bet Jason's really Charles... The real Jason was killed by Charles when he got out of Radley...AKA when "Jason" claimed he was in rehab.
