  1. Rick's group is slowly turning into what the Governor's group was even if they won't admit it. I liked it and the next episode and the finale is going to be brutal.

  2. Hey Gabriel any time you want to die that would be fantastic. Wish it had been you out there with Glenn instead of Noah. Just saying. You are the most useless one of the group. Even worse then that lame wussy who caused Noah's death, left his friend to die when he was stuck and then tried to hijack the van for himself. And I really hated that guy this episode. Glenn should have left him there for the walkers. Poor Glenn he is so traumatized.

I agree Rick and co have done some nasty things and they definitely have some creepy depth to them but I can't with these people like Gabriel who sat back and locked their church leaving them to die. Then acts all scared by people who actually get things done and survive (even if I do think Rick and the others take it to far sometimes).

  3. Why Noah had to die like that this really is bloodiest season yet and Rick group is starting to turn into the governor's group but at least they aren't crazy

    ReplyDelete
  4. Another good episode and I hope Gabriel dies. He's such a hypocrite. Also that ending, Rick and his group have to take over.

    ReplyDelete
  5. I hate Gabriel so much right now, and shame on you Maggie for not popping up and telling him off. I also wished Carol would take care of Jesse's abusive husband on her own, it would be way cooler if she killed him instead of Rick.

    ReplyDelete
  6. Carol might kill him. Hopefully that does happen.

    ReplyDelete
  7. Totally agree with you.

  8. O.M.G. I really enjoyed the episode but was very sad to see Noah die. I really liked Noah. We have lost three great characters: Bob, Tyrese, and Noah. I sincerely hope that kid Nicholas dies a very painful death. I did realize Noah was going to die when he had that conversation w/Deanna's husband about learning architecture and keeping the place safe. Honestly, like Chris Hardwick said on TTD, the minute Noah got some depth, I had a feeling he'd die.

My hatred for Gabriel knows no limits at this point. I want him dead. He is a coward and a traitor. He's calling the group that SAVED his life multiple times "bad." They weren't the ones who left their flock outside of the church walls to die by the hands of zombies b/c they were too scared to open the doors?!?! I want Gabriel dead as soon as possible.

I was a little shocked at Carol telling Rick he had to kill Pete. That was a bit much, but I'm not surprised she noticed a fellow abused family unit. I do hope we get some confirmation about Pete's abuse before he's killed by Rick or Carol. If anyone kills him, it should be Jessie.

I also loved Abraham taking over that crew. The people in Alexandria are completely inept, cowardly, and weak. Our group needs to take over that sanctuary.

  9. Carol's reaction seems all normal at this point for her and Rick to me. At this point, I don't think there are any lines they won't cross aside from killing one of their own unless they deserve it.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Yes, I told my sister I thought it was a shame that all the strong, competent, brave black men died, and we're left w/one who is a weak, cowardly traitor.

Morgan . . . . please come! We need you!

    ReplyDelete
  11. Yeah, he's pretty much in the same category as everyone else. They all have to do unspeakable things to survive. No exceptions. Not sure why he thinks he's any different. But I'm guessing no one in Alexandria really understands that, as much as they claim too.

    ReplyDelete
  12. as long as long as they don't start killing just anybody I'm ok...if they start killing people who don't deserve it then their no better than the governor.

    ReplyDelete
  13. I just started to think of an interesting twist, but I know this twist has like a 2% of being correct lol. What if Jesse is abusing her husband and not the other way around. Carol decides to kill her husband before all the facts are collected and then it's revealed she was completely wrong. To me, something is off with Jesse and I don't think the purported abuse from her husband is it. By the way, I know this theory is crazy and wrong, but I wanted to share it.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Man, first Bob, then Tyrese, and now Noah, and they've introduced a town full of white people. We're starting to lose all the ethnicity in this show.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Gabriel better die, but we have Morgan coming up though.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Hopefully the show does not follow the comics when it applies to Gabriel. I want him to die.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Gabriel has got to die. Who the hell is he to say that anyone doesn't deserve to have a better life. He locked out his entire congregation to be eaten. UGH.

I liked Noah, that was a hard scene to watch.

Alexandrians are so clueless. It's insane.

I really like the whole dynamic of how Rick's group really were out there too long and they cannot live in a "normal" place. But they are right for being so.

    ReplyDelete
  18. That would be an interesting twist. I don't really care for Jesse yet or any of the Alexandria people. Francis was alright and Sam is growing on me.

    ReplyDelete
  19. I hear ya. I guess I was just surprised that she went immediately to death.

    ReplyDelete
  20. I'm sad that they killed Noah. If they were just going to kill him off, why did we have to sacrifice Beth to get him? Why couldn't they both get out safely when Rick and Co. went on the rescue mission?

    ReplyDelete
  21. WOW, you just copy and pasted the comment I deleted lol.

    ReplyDelete
  22. What if Father Gabriel is talking about himself? Sorta like split personality? All around a good episode. I don't liked Carol telling Rick that Pete has to die. There are other ways to deal with it. R.I.P Noah Not sad about it but the actor himself is a class act.

    ReplyDelete
  23. I love every minute of it. Gabriel needs to die.

    ReplyDelete
  24. they are not the good guys anymore.

    ReplyDelete
  25. I kind of feel bad for Carol, not too long ago Sophia was just like Sam and Carol was brutally beat by Ed on a daily basis. They all saw the bruises. If this is how she felt way back when then Rick has failed her in ways I had not even considered yet.

And she stuck by his side regardless.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Amazing!!!

    ReplyDelete
  27. Even worse: What if Jessie is abusing her husband and children and that's why he drinks and Sam broke her owl sculpture.

Notice he didn't break something from his father, but his mother.

    ReplyDelete
  28. One of the best episodes of this season.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Brutal episode!

    ReplyDelete
  30. I bet Pete will end up being killed by Carol, Jessie by a walker, and Carol will end up raising Sam as her own.

    ReplyDelete
  31. It was brutal. Bunch of sissy asses running this "safe zone" not fighting for each other with outdated system. They are weak. Gosh, the death scenes were extreme. Not the best way to die. Still shocked. And Gabriel must die, right now. What he did was way worse than things done by Rick's group. Carol started to freak me out with this "cookie monster" sketch, but in this episode, she returned to her senses.

BTW Anyone noticed the sign: "Big things are coming"? :)

    ReplyDelete
  32. what if Jessie abuses her child? That would be a twist?!

    ReplyDelete
  33. He had to die!!! He is going to be on the new Criminal Minds spin-off.

I am hoping that someone kills Gabriel because I cannot stand his pathetic, useless ass.

    ReplyDelete
  35. What a great new level this adds to the series. We've already seen plenty of groups who have turned nasty and malicious in the zombie apocalypse. Now we're shown a group who's every bit as dangerous but for a totally different reason -- they're soft and sheltered and cowardly, to the point that they don't even hesitate to desert their own people. This really sets up a pretty awesome confrontation for the final two episodes. And poor Noah, I think TWD has topped itself for unwatchable deaths.

Also, just a stray observation for the writers because it's making me just a little uncomfortable: You've already killed off three black men this season and characterized the fourth, Gabriel, as a sniveling, backstabbing creep. I know you're holding the Morgan card pretty close to the vest, but still -- I'm a white female viewer, and I'm hoping you guys keep a little balance in mind for the sake of your hugely diverse and loyal audience.

    ReplyDelete
  36. I totally agree. It's getting real hard not to ignore the racism on this show when they keep killing off all the good black male characters. It's a miracle they've allowed Michonne and Sasha to still be around. There's no way they can keep denying it when it's been every black male lead.

Gabriel is just the lowest scum. They saved him, they've kept him alive, and here he is looking to get them thrown out.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Oh, I couldn't agree more w/you about the killing of all the honorable, upstanding black men on the show and leaving us w/a traitorous coward as the only black male representative. I mean what's up w/that? I'm a black woman and noticed it so I'm glad others are noticing it as well.

    ReplyDelete
  38. I know but it still sucked. I liked Noah. I just don't want to be left w/Gabriel as the only black man on this show. He's a traitorous coward. I wish Tyrese were still around if Noah had to go. Heck, I wish we hadn't lost Tyrese or Bob or Noah! Haha!

    ReplyDelete
  39. Well, Rick wasn't really around when Ed was beating Carol on a regular basis. The rest of the group was. Rick got there and then left to go find Merle. Shane beat the crap out of Ed, and then the night Rick returned, a walker ate Ed. Haha! Rick didn't see much.
I feel bad for Carol too. I know she recognizes the signs, but the fact that she immediately went to murder was a little crazy to me.

Awesome show! I had read some spoilers beforehand and I was still squirming and screaming in my seat! lol Eugene stepped up yet again and proved, like Winnie the Pooh, he is braver than he thinks he is... Team Eugene! Never underestimate a nerd! :)

    ReplyDelete
  41. It's real noticeable, especially with Alexandria looking like a rich pure white town. It just has that feel to it. You don't see real cultural diversity going on. Not just with black characters, but there's like no real other nationalities. We're not seeing latino, we're not seeing native american, we're just not seeing anything. I'm guessing it's because the showrunners all seem to have come from that kind of plain background. Poor Glen just stands out and so does Michonne. This show definitely needs to add more characters from different backgrounds and mix it up a bit.

    ReplyDelete
  42. I agree. The writing this season has really been strong on that level -- the way we've been shown Rick's group battling all along to survive, only to find out they're now basically incapable of fitting into anything resembling the orderly (soft, polite, naive) civilization they once knew. And Seth Gilliam is such a fantastic actor, but he is really selling Gabriel as a craven slimeball who needs to go. In many ways, I see Gabriel as most dangerous of all because he's too cowardly to actually fight but will go to any backstabbing lengths to protect himself.

    ReplyDelete
  43. I love Seth, too. I'm so used to him being on Teen Wolf where he's this strong really great character. I was shocked he took this role. I agree that Gabriel is trying to protect himself. I think he was afraid the group would tell people what he did to his flock, so he's trying to get rid of them so he can have a new start.

    ReplyDelete
  44. That's a really good point -- the idea that he's proactively trying to get rid of all the witnesses, so to speak. He did another excellent job of that before, when he locked his congregation out of the church! How ironic that his comments to Deanna are basically referring to his own role in everything to date.

I happen to be a comic fan as well as a show fan, which I suppose is pretty insignificant given how many ways the TV version departs from the print version. But wow, this scene with Gabriel is another interesting example of the show inserting a key beat from the comics, then working in enough twists that the TV outcome will probably be miles apart from the original. I'm impressed at how creative the writers have been about this sort of thing.

    ReplyDelete
  45. YEAH ! Give me more ! such an emotional and strong episode ! Poor Glenn.
And what abou that Gabriel - is he having a death wish or something?

    ReplyDelete
  46. two guys eaten alive...couldnt they kill the first guy? They let the walkers eat them alive! They could have kill him. I dont even know his name but that was stupid, leaving him there alive. And couldnt they just kill the walkers inside that building when they still were behind that fence? Was it so hard?

I dont see any point of the noah character. I knew the actor got some big role in some new tv show, I wonder if they killed noah because of that, or maybe the actor knew he would be killed off in the walkind dead so he found himself some new job? I'd like to know what the writers think when they create those new characters that were not in the comic without any plot in store for them...

I agree with you but I can understand why he is becoming cold and making harsh discussions is cause he has lost so many good people in his group and he is trying to keep his group alive that is like pretty much his family and I cant wait to see what is going to happened on the last two episodes of this season.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Gabriel has major guilt over locking his congregation out whilst he was safe inside.....

    Now they've found a "paradise," and welcomed in with open arms;
    Rosemary gives him strawberries - a "purity" fruit - with a note that says they are LUCKY to have him;
Runs over to Deanna and has a major unhinged bordering on psycho "confession"

IS IT POSSIBLE.......that he's "ratting" on them to keep his misdeeds from coming to light? I truely have to wonder.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Not surprising at all for Carol to want him dead........
    whatever keeps the Grimes Family safe;

    An abusive hubby
    Sick Contagious people
    Psychotic serial killer kiddies
    Cannibals

Jessie's hubby -whether he's abusing Jessie or the son - is not acceptable in Carol's world..... nor Rick's.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Whatever, and I mean WHATEVER it takes to keeps the Grimes Family safe ....... this is what Rick (and Carol) will do. It's interesting that these two are now on the same page, as Rick ousted Carol for this exact same thing back at the prison. But, Rick has since then been and seen so much done to his Family that he's now seeing the world as a MEANS for the Family. What and who can further, OR hurt them.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Damn. That would be one hell of a twist.

    ReplyDelete
  52. I accidentally voted good but it was supposed to be awesome!!!! And aww it was sad!!!! They are still the good guys they save everyone!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  53. They are they continue to put others lives in front of there own.... except maybe rick

    ReplyDelete
  54. Awesome that is all 😜

    ReplyDelete
  55. I was so glad when Eugene stepped up. Same thing with Abe in order to save that girl. Those were such badass moments for them. I liker the new relationship between Sam and Carol. Carol just wants him to keep hisouth shit and leave her alone but Sam want cookies and to keep talking to Carol. Carol tellking Rick, yeah we're gonna need to kill Pete was nice. But just when Gabriel was about to have some character build up he decides to talk down on the group. Seriously, even the kid (Sam) kept his mouth shut about Carol taking the guns

    ReplyDelete
  56. yeh, Id assume she would go to that direction before everything happened as well, everything prior just removed the noose around her neck.

    ReplyDelete
  57. The excessive gore during both Aiden and Noah's deaths ruined this episode for me. In my opinion, it negates any kind of emotion for the character death and just reduces this show to a cringeworthy B horror movie level gore fest. I strongly disliked the horse death last week also. I really wish we could've spent the rest of the season developing and exploring the new Alexandria Safe Zone location/ characters, with hints of conflict on the horizon, instead of instantly plotting to murder them, etc.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Man, Gabriel is a backstabbing son of a bitch. WTH man. WHAT. THE. FREAKING. HELL.
Amazing episode, Noah's death was painfull, poor dude and Aiden was a result of his own stupidity and cockiness, you just shot the legs and leave the freaking walker there damed.
Eugene is about time you thoughen up.
Carol doesnt want to get attached to kids, that's why she is rejecting Sam's request and question she wdoesnt want to hurt again in that way but damn asking Rick directly that he should kill that guy, they should really talk to Deanna before they do anything but I'm sure carol will be tehre when it happens i see Sam running from his father and going to Carol's and the father go looking for him and Carol just do what she has to do.
Abraham was great on this episode. These people dont knw how to liev a "normal" life anymore, we saw it alst week with Sacha and the others just trying to make teh place safe and not trusting anyone. They dont know how to live without running or danger in their doors.

    ReplyDelete
  59. They arent crazy? Really? Lol! They're all crazy. How could you not be,

    ReplyDelete
  60. Thats true. But killing a man for abusing his wife? Really? Its abit extreme. They're all abit incase, which is to be expected though

    ReplyDelete
  61. The writers don't think anymore!!! They would rather carry along characters with no story behind them. They have there main 6 cast members the rest are used as shocking deaths to keep you watching now!! They wasted so much of the show on the hospital (Beth) arc they had to give us something in return so we got Noah the gimp!!!! Now they have to rush through the end of the season pushing plot lines 40 minuets of show! Frank Darabout we miss you:(

    ReplyDelete
  62. Oh shit! I like it. And the reason Pete drinks is because he's being abused by his wife, who frankly doesn't have a mark on her. And the kid actysllyvwantsvthevgun for his dad, not for his mum.

Would also explain why Pete reached out to Rick to be friends. We all thought, as did rick, that he was just being menacing.

    Daaaaamn!

    ReplyDelete
  63. Sith Heather Haferbier17 March 2015 at 14:56

I exactly agreed with you without no doubt, and like I said before I think Rick is a great leader for the group, yea there was times when he made a bad choice but he always found a way to fixed the mess up, and yea everyone says that it's his fault that Hershel died when the governor attack the prison in season 4 but Rick tired his hardest to reason with the governor and tired to talk him into letting go of the past and join his group that they could of made it work instead of fighting each other but of course the governor wouldn't come to terms with Rick and then killing Hershel cause Rick told them he wasn't gonna let the governor kick his people out of the prison which I cried lol but I'm love Rick, Maggie, Glenn, Carol, Carl, and the rest of the group and I couldn't be any happier that everyone stands by Rick and think that he is a great leader even though he made bad calls at times :)

    ReplyDelete
  64. More than likely it is Jessie doing the beating

    ReplyDelete
  65. Lol! No.... it's Pete.
