If its the last season, it actually makes perfect sense to do so. I think people would be a LOT less forgiving to this show ifs he never did and now we all get to see the rammifications for this ie the death of the fake Amanda Clark/ aka Jack's ex wife and Carls mother.
Plus the fact legally Daniel Grayson married a legal identify that was fraudulent and so on.
I think it does open up some story ideas.. if they go through with them properly.
Someone above had it right re Jack. He keeps circling Emily/Amanda never quite ready to give up on her and always there to help her out even when he tries not to. Hes addicted to the idea that Amanda is his childhood sweetheart even if I think he knows thats really not her anymore.
Great episode! I'm really concerned about Louise now. I'm hoping that what Emily did will have Victoria respect her more since she restored Daniel's reputation. I don't remember too many promos throughout the week advertising Courtney Love's guest appearance. But this was definitely a must see episode.
lets be honest.. how many of the core cast didnt know Emily was Amanda. The only extra people who know now is anyone that cares to read a newspaper, the police etc.
I dont have a big issue with the reveal to be honest. Does it mean Amanda is trying to shed her duplicitous past? Not sure. Im not sure she can. To be honest this season more than any one previously has been all over the place in terms of the storyline it is trying to give us. It feels likea giant darboard which they keep throwing characters and story points at it, hoping that one hits the bullseye.
Look at the length the show had to go to, to re ignite the Victoria/ Amanda feud. It had to use a 'random' taxi attack on a pregnant lady.
reality is she would in RL go to gaol for identity fraud, fraud, lying to police etc etc etc and that's just simply proven by the fact she admitted who she really was
Great episode. Really enjoeyed it. I appreaciate what Steve brings to to the show aka she isn't infatuated with Amanda and isn't Victoria. Good enough for me.
Lets see what the writers have planned with this story and how the season will bove out.
Louise's reaction to all of this will be really entertaining. OK so we can now do the happy dance, we no longer have to see this very confusing marriage, Nolan finally came to his senses and saw things for what the were. I found it a bit bit strange though that Jack had little issue with Nolan's interest in the guy who tried to destroy Jack just 1 episode back. But now we get to see how someone as unstable as Louise deals with the loss (as I think her feelings were far more intense then Nolan's feelings ever were). My guess, she'll be revenging Nolan in no time. Nolan will be too busy with Em's coming out that he will give Louise less and less attention...this will infuriate her more, leading her to attacking him? i hope not, I recognize that she's good person who's just a bit unstable, but she has such intense feeling for Nolan it's no doubt her instability will cause her to lash out.
Great episode, Margaux came to her senses now Victoria is still at her wicked game, and Emily/Amanda's confession I no it was a dream it didn't happen, now wouldn't that be wild!!
Loved the episode. Im scared about Louise, she will expose them and Nolan and everyone will be in danger, she can even say that Nolan force her to lie about Lyman's deead and everything will go downhill.
That ending! That last scene!! Jeeez! Emily Van Camp was perfect in there and Emily (as in the character) was so brave and amazing for doing this! Loved it
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Oh my God Emily... (O_O)
ReplyDeleteshe revealed herself?!!!!
ReplyDeleteShe did it. I thought she was going to be shot again before she told the truth.
ReplyDeleteI think Stevie is right. Emily is like an addiction for Jack.
I see some chemistry between Stevie and David.
I want to know what will be Victoria's next play. Emily cleared Daniel's name, but Margaux lied about being pushed into the streets.

ReplyDeletebut if it's not they screwed up big time and didn't it seem like she shed her Amanda Clarke identity for Emily Thorne?

ReplyDeleteTotally agree!
ReplyDeleteI spent the whole episode fussing at Nolan about lying. I do not think those consequences will be pleasant.
ReplyDeleteDid you see my list of moments?
