    Wow we got a Mikaelson hug. From Mikael himself. I never thought I'd see the day. Not only did we finally get one from Mikael, but we got his first hug with his other daughter... Um What? (A daughter that didn't exist til this freakin' season. Rolls eyes, I'm over it.) He's always had a soft spot for Rebekah, but he never broke out tears and hugs for her when they reunited. (Although he tried, failing miserably, and she rejected him. Good girl Rebekah).

    Ok, I didn't notice this before nor do I know if it was discussed, but Gia definitely looks like Faith...a worn/drawn Faith. Scene, when she woke up from the coma in season 4. Or in Angel season 1 when she was hired to kill Angel. Scene, they're at Wesley's, and Angel says, "You feel young do you Faith? You're looking worn out to me." And she did, and that's what Gia looked like in the scene with Elijah and the "suit talk". It's creepy. (And Eliza is way more prettier than this Gia actress).

    What?? Freya finally meets the boys face to face and all she does is save Finn?? And the boys stay quiet?? What?? That was disappointing! I've been waiting for that moment, and nothing happened! Smh. Sure they knew of her beforehand, but a little twitch of reaction wouldn't have hurt! Klaus gave some stubbornness but honestly when is he not? Idk, I wanted more.

    Rebekah and Marcel's scenes did nothing for me. In fact, nobody did anything for me.

    This episode was boring. I was bored. The only character I liked was Hope and all she did was cry. (I miss Josh) ugh!

    Oh well, time for The Following, which will be much more entertaining for me than this episode.

    It's just odd how out of place Hayley/Jackson feel on this show. Everyone is saving/fighting/killing while these two are having sex-talk and take care of babies.


    Can we...just kill both of them and move on from their lame-ass-werewolf-bajou-redneck plot? There're better things to spend screen-time on.
    Reduce Hayley to a recurring character that brings Hope to show that the baby still lives and give us actually interesting scenes.


    If you can't tell I liked the episodes but every scene featuring Hayley just shattered the beautiful eerie and dark picture this episode painted and replaced it with a horribly acted version of Parenthood (seriously, where did Nathan and Phoebe learn the acting craft? Because that school is certainly going on my "no thanks" list")


    Mikael is back, somewhat understandable this time, Freya seems bent to unite the family as a whole wich I'm very cool with and finally Haylijah is over, so there's virtually no reason to spend time on Hayley.


    Btw. how often can Finns life be left in jeopardy before it gets boring? We all know that Yusuf will be back given that he's a regular

    Good episode lots going on and they moved the plot forward (a bit). I like Klaus but his constant machinations are getting old. I much prefer Elijah's master chess game with the Witch Matriarch.

    I love Finn (great villain) but I'm really curious to see what Yusef does with Vincent. Freya is interesting, I'm not quite buying good/loving sister who wants to reunite the family, save hope and stop Dahlia. However, I'm curious to see where it goes.

    The Freya/Mikael reunion was nice but it really highlights what a giant jerk he is.

    Did you miss the point where he said that he liked the episode? and even if he didn't he has the right to point out the flaws. Just because you watch the show doesn’t mean you have to ignore the bad parts. The show is far from being perfect.

    It always works out for the "best" when Mikael is around, especially when your "super witch aunt" (who is more powerful than Esther) is coming to take the powers/life of "Baby Hope"! Elijah and Gia..............ok (ding, dong, the Hayley - ship is dead) ! (Ni)Klaus is becoming diabolical again and I'm liking it. Poor "Bex"...........out of the pan and into the fire! Mikael being a father for once and not a "maniac" was great to see (the actor's/actress' performance in that scene was superb). Between Dahlia and the witch coven elder's revenge/retaliation............New Orleans is getting exciting again! 4 THE ORIGINALS, THE COPIES, AND ALL THE REPEATS, I am Nobody!!!

    but you complained about criticism, wich is quite counter productive for aknowledging flaws. TO is my favourite show and I actually talk quite positive about it, I do however mention the flaws. Wich in this episode were quite obvious

    Yeah, if the same problem remains it's needs pointing out of it,
    pretty much everyone here is complaining about Hayley for the exact same reasons I do. Making the problem a pretty valid one: she really doesen't add to the plot


    If you're a giant Hayley fan, that's fine. But don't be butthurt when others are pissed at the way her storyline is actually posing as antipole to the actual plot.


    And hell no, I'll never stop watching. I like literally EVERY character except Hayley/Jackson on this show. All the odds point to sticking with it. So....

    Good on Hayley for telling Klaus that his manipulation of her will only result in his never seeing his child again.

    Loved the Klaus and Hope scene....I wish the show had more of them....I would like to see him have a day with the baby. It would be sooo cute.

    Ugh on Elijah and Gia sleeping together....worst couple yet! Of course Klaus and Cami are the ultimate worse couple!

    Giveth me Finn, Rebekah, Mikael, Elijah, Thierry, Freya, Oliver or Davina (or Nate) and I'm more than satisfied.


    But give me endless scenes of Hayley not contributing to anything and I'll question her presence

    If I had a choice to sacrifice Hope in favor of getting rid of Hayley I would do it. Klaus would probably hand me the kid while throwing it down that hellhole. "Are you sure about this Klaus? It's your kid" I will say. "It is for the greater good" He shall reply as I toss the child into the pits of hell. As Hayley burns Klaus will do his happy dance while thanking me "I loved my child, but seeing this was SO worth it"

    I don't mind Hayley....I just can't stand Jackson and the wolves....
    IMO they are all boring....either get rid of them or get them a storyline that I can actually get into.....Also...why do they all have to be poor? It is seriously disturbing.

    Rather Gia/Elijah and Klaus/Cami than Hayley with either of them.


    However they don't seem like they will live on for very long as a couple. It's the classic "I'll leave because I'm heartbroken so you can get me back in 10 episodes" plot they pulled on pretty much every CW show (I do like Gia though)

    I enjoyed when Hayley got the Mikaelson-game in early season 1. The second they turned her into super-werewolf-hybrid-Hayley I was annoyed with her. She should've slowly grown into this, not make a 180° move.


    Jackson is too perfect and it's frustrating to see him not go evil (because perfect guys are ALWAYS evil).

    I get why Rebekah and Elijah had a lot of screentime with her. I kind of understand why Cami had some time with her.


    Hayley, of course. But Klaus barely sees her, only a few glances. I don't even recall him holding her more than once.


    I wasn't a fan of Klaus' fear of his brother "replacing" him (because it was fairly dull to think that the one guy that gives up everything for you takes everything from you....well...from a writers POV it does sound poetic) but now Jackson is actively trying to replace him

    Freya is interesting. I'm very curious about her backstory.



    And great twist with Rebekah in Eva's body.

    it would be so easy to make him turn on them and reveal that getting the wolves the power-ups was just his evil plan to transport all their hybrid powers onto him turning him into an uber-werewolf capable of taking on Klaus/Mikael/Elijah.

    I honestly didn't feel the Elijah/Gia chemistry this time. It felt forced after we saw some really great chemistry with Gia/Marcel. Then that relationship develop offscreen and fizzled out after it was moving so organically.
    They wanted the Elijah/Gia sex scene to happen on the same episode that the Jackson/Hayley sex scene happened to show that the Hayley/Elijah relationship isn't going to happen now or maybe never. Which is ridiculous considering how long they have been developing that pairing. It was also a way of filling up what can very well be considered a filler episode. When the real action happens there will barely be any mention of those two relationships.

    Though nothing is going to get Mikael and Klaus in the same room together without a bloodbath, but it would take a whole new story to change that for believability, and they would need to develop Mikael more than they have, as of now he is still just a blunt object to me.

    Actually Freya was first mentioned (not by name) in the Vampire Diaries Season 3 episode Ordinary People by Rebekah while talking to Elena (which aired in 2011). It was only this season of Originals though that it was revealed she was taken by their aunt and didn't actually die as most of them had thought.

    They never revisited Klaroline after the hook-up and Stefan/Rebekah was dropped (they dated in the 1920s, hooked up once in S4 than quickly got over it). I don't see why this has to be any different.

    I did not think the episode was to bad and I still can't stand the jackson amd haley scenes. I am a elijah and haley scenes but I am a elijah and haley fan til the end I just dont know how they will come together. Did elijah and Gia just kiss. Daniel gillies is one sexy man and he looks like a good kisser liked how Gia called haley his girl. Haley did it why can't elijah. Elijahover haley but I think that Jim and Gia might be one time. Because elijah does not love easily. All this angst is killing me. Gia was not shy I do think K she is pretty. Like Marcel and becca. I do t know what else can happen to my couple. I can stand elijah and Gia. But not haley and Jackson. And I still believe elijah amd haley are endgame and haley needs to listen to klaus

    Loved it. Elijah scenes were great and I'm glad he will be more full time on the show now...one thing really bothers me though...the baby is not a michaelson as Klaus has a different biological father?! Does that not bother anybody cause it sure as hell does to me.

    YES! LOVED Freya, LOVED Freya/Mikael, LOVED Elijah being calculating and 10 steps ahead.


    I need more Freya/Elijah. Elijah's always wanted to be the older sibling and now he has yet another competitor, even though the more I see of Freya, the more I suspect she's the wicked witch, not Dahlia.


    Elijah rebounding with Gia the nonentity felt like the worst kind of fanservice ("See, Klaus/Hayley fans, we're getting Elijah out of the way!"). What the hell is wrong with just being single? But whatever. Small blemish in an otherwise good episode.


    MIKAEL/FREYA!!!


    Also, I was totally right, Hayley and Jackson being together makes the boring parts a lot easier to skip. What a blessing.

    I don't mind the werewolf marriage and I couldn't care less who Hayley ends up with but god that Jackson is such a wet blanket and snooze fest. I would like to see Aiden any day on my screen than Jackson.He is boring.


    Hayley being all pissed off because Klaus used the werewolves to defeat Finn and now Mikael?? Was that not the reason why she married him?


    Freya is really interesting. Did she just lie to Klaus and Elijah that she does not want to harm baby Hope? Liar!! Now the question is whether she is terrified of Dahlia or if she is really evil? Also is the end of Yusuf Gatewood as Finn?


    Rebekah and split personality.. Ouch baby girl you just can't catch a break. Can you? This new Rebekah also has great chemistry with Marcel.


    Elijah and Jia. I am bummed by this. I was so looking forwards to a mentor apprentice relationship between them. Should have known when their first lesson was filled with tension. This is better than Elijah pining for Hayley while she is playing nookie with Jackson but still why?


    If Freya can reunite the family and make Mikael and Klaus work together to save baby Hope I will give her a medal. I don't like Mikael but if he allies with Klaus and Elijah that will be an awesome story arc.


    No Cami or Davina this episode. Didn't miss them. What is the purpose Davina anymore in this series?? Cami can at least be a peace talker between these morons. Davina and Jackson should die.

    While I prefer Elijah/Gia (actually Elijah/ANYBODY but Hayley), it was kind of ridiculous. I don't know if the writers think that multiple random sex and outbursts of 'passion' make the show more 'adult' but I believe when they do go for these scenes we should feel something. An emotion. And I didn't feel a thing. It was like 'blah, whatever', I'm past of worrying about their 'love lives' because none of these would last, none of these mean anything and seeing the actors in different stages of nudity becomes old. (Let alone Elijah, I don't see anyone swooning over Hayley/Jackson either.) The characters switch bodies daily and we are supposed to love the new faces just because they share names with the original ones. We're probably supposed to be 'shocked' and 'surprised' everytime? The show is still entertaining (at least parts of it) but it's far from the original quality of TVD or TO. And I'm always happy to have Mikael back.

    I really really loved the episode. It was hell of a fun to watch the mighty Mikael's first on screen Hug!!! *swoons.

    Well, my level of tolerance of Hayley is still solid this season, I learned to block my annoyance of her by just doing something else when her scenes come up, that's something right?

    I still feel Seb is so underused, I know they're trying to pack too many things in one episode, but they could at least give him more screen time dammit ...

    well, one thing I applaud the writers for in TOs, is that sex doesn't mean feelings or obligations or whatever that crap in TVD is. Gia-Elijah, Hayley-Elijah , Jackson-Hayley, Cami-Marcel, Genevieve-Klaus all got intimate without how deep their feelings are, and practically no pinning for three seasons to get it done, they all went for it without trying to give it a '' meaning '' ! so bravo!

    Am loving Freya now! she definitely has potential. and for love of acting, keep Maisie, I love her!

    as for the plot, loved everything, pacing and execution were great, and introducing of new characters and possibilities for the remaining arc is promising!

    I'll definitely give it a 9/10.

    We know for a fact Freya wants to kill Hope.


    Dahlia didn't kill Freya, did she? And she did warn Esther that the fertility spell required a sacrifice. Esther said yes anyway. Dahlia even looked doubtful Esther's line would last, anyway.

    Yes because that somehow means Dahila isn't dangerous. Still her sister... Plus it's never actually been shown Freyya wants that. Hell her saving of Rebekah and contined protection of Finn (whilst stopping him from hurting Hope) demonstrates that she's no where near evil and does not want to hurt Hope, as she clearly values her family.

    On TVD they do it a lot too - everyone hooks up with everyone else. Rebekah slept with Damon randomly for example.


    Elijah & Gia did seem to have something going on earlier in the season, but then it was kind of dropped because Elijah was away from NOLA babysitting, but now that he's back they picked it up. The Hayley thing was random because there was no build-up for it this season and they barely interacted this season and Hayley had just gotten engaged so that's what didn't belong and I wish it has never happened.

    I think Hayley doesn't want any of her people to die and Mikael killed on already, but I don't think sitting around at the compound waiting for Mikael to show up is smart. I understand why Hayley is siding with Jackson's plan and wants to save as many lives as possible - but her belief that Mikael is only a threat to Klaus and not the baby couldn't be more wrong. Didn't Mikael try to kill Hayley in order to kill the kid in 1x20? She should remember what Mikael said to her and that he wanted the baby dead.

    I am not against Elijah and Hayley at all. I am indifferent to that relationship. As long as Elijah remains the bad ass he is and gets more stuff to do than romance I will be fine. But since as of now Hayley is moving on with Jackson (which we know will not last) I am glad they are not showing Elijah pining.

    As you said Hayley actually knows what kind of a threat Ester, Finn and Mikeal is. This is not a new threat and she clearly knows Mikael won't be satisfied by killing Klaus alone. Klaus might be an asshole but he has proven to her in the previous months nothing comes before baby Hope for him. So her defying him while he try to protect Hope sounds stupid. This change in her felt like she is riding on post marriage happiness.

    I really liked this episode. Very entertaining.

    Liking Freya more with each passing episode. Enjoyed her scene with Mikael.
    Freya and the brothers - great first meeting. So, is Finn's soul in that pendant now?
    Nice to see Jackson and Hayley consummating their marriage.
    Hayley stood up against Klaus - you go girl!! She spoke sense. If Mikael came at Hope, the wolves would defend her with their lives but to go out hunting for Mikael is foolhardy and stupid.

    Klaus - undermining Jackson behind his back and now egging on Aiden to betray his alpha? His need to have control over the werewolves is driving him crazy. He needs 'yes men' and Jackson is not a yes man. Jackson and Aiden - this is not going to end well for one of them.

    Gia - OOOOOH!! She cleans up nicely. Looked smoking hot in that dress and hairdo. And it was refreshing to see her honesty/candor. She wanted Elijah and went for it. Glad that Elijah reciprocated. The two of them have some simmering chemistry.

    Rebekkah/Eva Sinclair - wonder where they are going with this story line. Elijah still hasn't returned Vincent's body so Rebekkah is still not safe. Also, it seems this Eva Sinclair is a total psychopath.

    I tend to disagree it was two seasons. And he had to protect Haley Klays sure was not And all they did was talk in episode 1. It took one whole season to kiss another seasn to come together and now they are seperated but hopefully they will come together. There relationship was developed and they have amazing chemistry. This revolving door of characters. Rebekah came back so Ester left. Freya came so Kol left. Mikael came back so now Finn left the scene.

    I love that Freya wants to help them but I still don't know if she can be trusted.. I want to trust her though .. I want her to stick around!
    I want her to bring the family together, bring back Kol, and make Mikael and Klaus stop fighting eachother and then Esther awakes and wants to join them because they all are a family again and she wants to be a part of it but then everyone is like "screw you Esther.. we are a better family without you"

Does anyone think that Freya is somehow taking away power from her family and quietly getting rid of them to save herself from Dhalia? When she resurrected Finn, Kol started to feel bad and died (yes, I know Finn cursed him to death, but it looked like Freya's actions accelerated it) and when she 'put Finn to sleep', magic used to make Eva's body started to wear out. Any thoughts?

    Just wondering what do you think will happen with Elijah and Haley. Do you think they are still endgame. How about Gia?? Some people tink they are endgame. I dont mind Gia and Elijah but not long term. I dont know if Gia will last long term, the funny thing is I cant stand haley and jackson but dont mind gia and Elijah and I dont if they have sex or not did not really show it.     Eww. I hate that. LOL I get it. Lots of fans do it. I just can't. Lol I never fast forward through scenes, I just ignored her when she was on. (I really don't get the hoopla about her since she came on) It's kind of like, when you're talking to a friend, and they're right in front of you, you see their lips moving, but you're not listening, then you go, "what?" LOL yeah that's me. But I purposely zoned out when she came on screen. (I do the same thing to Laurel)

    I dont think so you dont know what is going to happen, And Gia and Jackson wont be on the show forever. I know you are a elijah and Haley hater so whatever. People dont know what the writers are going to do. I dont dislike Elijah and Gia I actually like it, and Haley is doing it why not Elijah. Elijah loves Haley. I am sick of hearing the Klaus and Haley they are good as friends and i dont know if Klaus will ever be happy. There is a difference Caroline and Klaus different show. The Vampire Diaries and Originals are different shows. There was nothing being said that they were done sorry to burst your bubble. But you can have your opinions I am used to it and I believe Elijah and Haley are endgame. Did read that a character is supposed to die. And Elijah and Haley had scenes after the love scene.
