This really should have been a single camera show. Love the cast. But shows that have to take dialogue breaks to let the audience lame are just lame. And so CBS. Ugh I hope that there's something to that Happy Endings announcement on April Fools that's actually legit... Another season maybe? Elisha Cuthbert deserves so much better.
That cold open was a little too exposition-y but other than that is a funny. Good chemistry between the cast, interesting premise. Hope it it pays off.
I quite liked it. Stumbled upon the show accidentally. The (main) cast was wonderful. I liked the chemistry between the actors who played the "two best friends", and I liked their chemistry with the actress playing the new british chick. Sure, some parts were "not that great" but I kind of liked the idea and all. Even if I do not see the show lasting for more than a few seasons (I do not think that after the baby and marriage and all this situation will last forever. There probably will be a moment, when they decide forever to be a three-people-"couple" or one of the ladies moves on...and finds a gf or new bf) Sure, there were a lot of "cliche" moments with the "airport" thing, and other scenes, but I actually kind of enjoyed it in this format. I am going to check out this show and see what next episodes will bring.
The main cast is really good, but that obnoxious laugh-track pretty much killed it for me. I have severe second hand embarrassment for Elisha Cuthbert; she deserves better roles than this!
Yeah, Nick and Elisha really pulled the long time frienship off. As of now, Kelly Brook(Prudence) was adequate, a sweet presence, if a little loud, but I think she'll do just fine...
It definitely would have worked as a single camera show too. And it might have been a better fit the show... but I think it's okay in traditional sitcom format too.
I watched this by accident, wasn't planning on doing it but I loved it ahah. I laughed so much. The cast was amazing. Nick Zano was absolutely hillarious and Elisha Cuthbert is as amazing as ever. I know some people will hate the "rude" type of humor but I loved it. And it had enough heart embedded in there too. I will enjoy these 6 episodes even if it is canned after that.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I really liked it. This and Undateable paired really well. Both were great

ReplyDeleteI didn't like it.
ReplyDeleteThe great actors struggled because of the weak writing and material they were given.
It was great but the writing needs to improve
