  1. Loving the bad Regina, even if she’s just pretending :) August is Back!!
Maleficent; “Are you a bad girl.”
    Regina: “The worse.”

Cruella’s game of don’t be a hero was fun… Maleficent defending her was really nice, “She’s just rusty.”

Their friendship really has developed a lot, Emma worrying about Regina.
Haha, Maleficent having a bad hair day.

“Pain always makes your stronger.” Poor Maleficent.
“Because if someone as powerful as you can't get there revenge, that means I'll never get mine too”, the struggle for happiness is truly hard, poor Regina :(

Poor Mal, "I lost the fire along time ago.” Lol, loving how Regina doesn’t want to be seen with the Charming Softball Team, “I can’t be seen with you.”

Emma and Regina: “I’m going to stick by you.”

Seeing Belle and Will on a date breaks my heart, what about Ana :(
I love how Regina helped Maleficent to help reignite her fire within, I guess thats why she’s gave Regina the benefit of the doubt.

Everyone wants Pinocchio, do they have Amber Alerts in Storybrooke lol. So cool how the villains are taking a page out of the “Heroes Playbook” and so the even the playing field they have to do the same. The struggle to attain happiness is heartbreaking.

Nice to see Aurora back, Regina: “That was inspired”, “You reminded me of who I am, thank you.” Aww Maleficent :)

Damn, plot twist, Belle gave Rumple the dagger as Hook. “I don’t know if I can ever be over him.”

Regina is in on the plan now, “You didn’t think I would stay banished for long.”
“Sometimes the teacher needs to learn from the teacher, sometimes you need to fall very far, too see the light.”

    Rumple: “Have you gone soft.”
    Regina: “Never!”

  2. Still loving the Queens of Darkness. And so Aurora is Briar Rose's daughter. I love that twist.

And Mal looked like a blonde Zelena all episode and it was throwing me off.

Thank you for re-aging August. Don't screw it up again because I'm still pissed about the de-aging.

    ReplyDelete
  3. For 2 years now I've wanted them to reage August...

But as soon as Regina had to kidnap Pinocchio I knew it was coming and suddenly didn't want it anymore.

  4. Great! This arc is way better than Frozen

    ReplyDelete
  5. Belle is just too easy! Rumple's back and he's bad! This is finally getting good. :)

    ReplyDelete
  6. why because he's in danger?

    ReplyDelete
  7. The Maleficent/Regina flashbacks are the best kind of flashbacks - showing meaningful character development and the formation of their new relationship.

  8. AUGUST WAYNE BOOTH IS BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BUT DAMN IT HE'S IN DANGER!!!!!!!! EMMA BETTER FIND HER BROTHER!!!!!!!!!!!! damn it gold had me going for a while, that disgusting scene with Will and belle's date COME ON!!!!!!!!!!! IT'S WILL AND ANA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! he had me going until that scene in the rain, DAMN IT!!!!!!!!!!! I SHOULD'VE KNOWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  9. Loving bad Regina even if she is pretending really Belle couldn't tell Hook was really Rumple I thought we was going to see August in the past not present please keep him as August still piss they de-aging him love the flashback with Regina and Maleficent

    ReplyDelete
  10. same here, i hope Emma finds him, what do you mean Aurora being whoever that woman's daughter a twist?

    ReplyDelete
  11. I liked this episode better than last week's. At first I thought the dagger was a fake, and then I was all, "No, Belle, please, not again... you should know the difference by now!!!" but then I caught on... and I was impressed by the twist for a split second until he grinned after tricking Belle... then I was peeved. Ha ha. It's painful for this Rumbelle fan to see Rumple not give a second thought to manipulating Belle.... AGAIN. I'm very interested to see where this goes, because I know the writers will put them back together with each other.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Oh August! So good to see you again!

    ReplyDelete
  13. so Hook being gold wasn't obvious? i was worried maybe it WAS obvious

    ReplyDelete
  14. Blair Rose and Aurora are both names that have been used for Sleeping Beauty in different adaptations. We learned at some point that OUAT's Aurora's mother had also been cured by Mal so that was a nice little twist to make Blair Rose her name.

  15. Hey I have a theory what if the villains did succeed and tip the balance and the villians won and the heroes didn't in the season finale and we think Emma the one who might become a villain but since Charmings went to great length for that not to happen the villains kidnapped baby Neal and magically aged him to twenty-one years old and instead of Emma being the greatest villain baby Neal is and next season is them saving baby Neal and tipping balance back what you think of these guys to play baby Neal

  16. - Wasted Maleficent is great.
    - A night of drinking, carousing, and tearing things up. Who says that boys get to have all of the fun?
    - Did Maleficent just smell Regina?
    - Is not having a change of clothes a drawback to being an Queen of Darkness?
    - Wow, Maleficent is just all over Regina.
    - So, when Emma joins the Queens of Darkness, will Regina be there too?
    - Emma, why don't you just tailgate them while being covert?
    - Okay, Emma is more worried about Regina than Pinocchio.
    - Belle did sense something at the end. She's not an idiot. She just didn't think that there was a reason to believe that Rumple was in town.
    - It is nice to see August back.
    - Where were Ursula, Cruella, and Hook?
    - Hook did something to Ursula. Called it.
    - I hope that there's more of a Maleficent centered episode. This gave us some stuff, but it didn't really explain anything. Did Mal hate Stefan or Briar Rose? Why?...Okay I really just want there to be an Aurora centric episode that has Mulan. I'm not sorry for anything.

    ReplyDelete
  17. so Briar Rose is another Aurora? like Elsa and Ingrid (the original Snow Queen from the German story??

    ReplyDelete
  18. we can't blame belle right? gold did a good impression right? and i DO NOT like belle ONE BIT!!! but i didn't expect it until that scene in the rain

    ReplyDelete
  19. The best part of "wasted Maleficient" is that she wasn't wasted, she was high!

    ReplyDelete
  20. Hook said that he and Ursula crossed paths. When Emma pressed him, he wouldn't talk about it.

    ReplyDelete
  21. I would like to first welcome back AUGUST WAYNE BOOTH!!!! I am so glad he's back.
This episode really made up for last week ending. I can never hate a Regina centric episode.

Let me start with flashback. the timeline fits in during STABLE BOY, WE ARE BOTH, THE DOCTOR and QUITE THE COMMON FAIRY where Regina is still learning magic. I like how Magnificent's story fit in with Regina. The beginning of the a friendship. Regina brought the dragon back ad it was beautiful. It was great to see Aurora and watching Maleficent put her under the sleeping spell. It look like Aurora was under the spell for quite a few years b4 the Dark Curse was cast. I like the connection to the movie and book. Since in the movie/book Aurora goes by both Briar Rose and Aurora, but on the show Briar Rose is the mother and 1st Sleeping Beauty and Aurora is her daughter. nice connection

On to present day events. So much happen. I'm going to start with Belle. Poor poor poor Belle. Rumple played her like a fool again since passing off as Hook. Belle should have went with her gut. Rumple will never ever learn. He needs to stop playing Belle like a fool. Belle is still very much in love with Rumple so Rumbelle isnt over.
I love Regina evil, then good. So her playing evil with the Queens is just GREAT. Her opening scene that all The Evil Queen. That test at the train track was kinda stupid... speaking of train tracks: So there is a train station in Storybrooke?....
I loved what Maleficent had on. She looked like a boss.
I'm glad Emma said it out loud that she is very much aware people around her are lying and keeping secrets from her. I knew her "super power" wasnt gone.
I'm happy August is back but I don't like the method it took to bring him back. Marco is going to lose it.

    We need more Will ASAP!

Next week is clearly a Hook centric episode. I hope it's good since I'm not a fan of his.

    ReplyDelete
  22. I thought it was after I realized it... but before then I was clueless. I guess I'm just as bad as Belle. ha ha ; ) Although, at least she had a suspicion of him being back in town... one step at a time. lol

    ReplyDelete
  23. Didnt think much of this episode.
I dont like August. he sent Emma to prison and wanted the curse to end quickly as he was turning to wood.

    Next week looks better.

Though got to say Colin was fantastic!

    ReplyDelete
  24. Am I wrong, or does the victim have to be willing to fall under a sleeping curse? Not trying to point out mistakes, but I thought that was why Regina needed Snow to want to bite the apple to save Charming? Just curious if anyone else was wondering that, because Aurora's wasn't willingly.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Looking it up, in the Disney animated film, both names are used for Sleeping Beauty. Aurora is the name she's given when she's born, Briar Rose is the name the fairies give her when they're hiding her from Mal.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Well, I'm not sure it means anything, but Aurora's sleep was like an enchanted sleep while Snow White's was like death. They actually put her in a glass coffin because they thought she was dead.

    ReplyDelete
  27. I haven't seen that episode in a while, but I think Regina making Snow choose to bite into the apple was just knife twisting, it wasn't required to make the magic work.

    ReplyDelete
  28. No, Regina specifically says that it won't work unless she does it willingly. Zooey might be on to something.

    ReplyDelete
  29. But in the same episode, wasn't Regina trying to trick Emma into eating poisoned apple tarts or something? If it only worked if the person was willing, then what would have been the point?

    ReplyDelete
  30. Even if tricked, Emma would have willingly eaten the turnover.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Well then, I dunno, maybe the rules are different with apples vs. needles lol.

    ReplyDelete
  32. oh so it's the same person

    ReplyDelete
  33. yeah but you're talking as if he never said anything about Ursula

    ReplyDelete
  34. honestly i don't give a rat's butt about Marco

    ReplyDelete
  35. I'm really enjoying this half of the season. So exciting and so much fun. The flashbacks and the Storybrooke were equally awesome this week.

    ReplyDelete
  36. In the Disney movie, yes. But in this case, OUAT put a little twist on things by using Briar Rose as the name of Aurora's mother.

    ReplyDelete
  37. I love the writers of this show. They never stop writing new and interesting stories for all the characters.
All the Regina fans who wanted more Regina sure are getting more. All they had to do was wait a little bit.

    ReplyDelete
  38. I was so happy when my Rumple got his Dagger back! I hope he never lets it out of his sight again!!

    ReplyDelete
  39. yeah i guess she got smart after the mid-season finale after 3 years of just being just plain dumb

    ReplyDelete
  40. But he also said he remembered and it was early in his pirate days and whenEmma asked him if he broke her heart he said worse. Clearly he is ashamed and didn't want to tell Emma he did something s bad. I have to say I probably wouldn't either. Emma has to decide if she can accept Hook with his past or not- if she can't then gve hm something else to do

    ReplyDelete
  41. it was supposed to be a fake!!!! but hey we got August back so i'll take it

    ReplyDelete
  42. If I were Regina I would have only poofed myself out of the car. Nothing more evil than saving yourself and not the others with you, right?

The train game is more like a game of chicken than a good test for evilness imo.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Sorry this was not my favorite episde. It didn't catch me like it usually does. I feel like it is happening like 4a where it's all about the Villians, I am not getting into everyone being Regina's BFF. I know the show can't be all about the relationships, but it seems like Emma is way more concerned about Regina than the fact that Ursula is in town and clearly something really bad went down with Hook and her. I might be a tad concerned for my boyfriend but all Emma seems t be worried about is Regina. And can we not have Hook always be the new that Rumple uses and then Hook will blame himself again.

    ReplyDelete
  44. true, that would have been the best way to show how evil she is but then I guess the game might loose meaning, but I agree with you :)

    ReplyDelete
  45. Wait . . . did I miss something? Did Belle give Rumple a fake dagger? I hope not. I want Rumple to have his Dagger back.

    ReplyDelete
  46. She is in the dark on everything that is going on. Her parents are not telling her what happeded with these 3 and Hook is not telling either, she is trusting them when they say everything is alright. It's understandable she is worried about Regina cause as far as she is concerned the only one with "problems" at that point is Regina.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Belle didn't give a second thought to using Rumple's dagger against him so his manipulation of her didn't bother. Their relationship is clearly over so I'm fine w/Rumple doing what he needs to do to survive!

    ReplyDelete
  48. She could still be worried about Regina and I just would have thought as she is opening up her heart to Hook she would be worried. As I said the episode just didn't catch me- for others it did.

    ReplyDelete
  49. you're crazy FYI LOL but no i meant i thought belle had the fake dagger from 4A but no it's real he brought August back

    ReplyDelete
  50. were you at least happy that August is back?

    ReplyDelete
  51. she told him last week that she wasnt going to ask. That she trusted him when he said everything was okay. Im guessing that all these lies will have a breaking point on her and someone will lure them to evil. I just need more you know. Anyone can be lied to but are these lies enough to change her heart?

    ReplyDelete
  52. That was the best episode maybe ever. Absolutely loved it. But the promo for next week. Whaaaaaaaaaaaaat!?

    ReplyDelete
  53. Yes I always liked August. I think he plays a big part in this arc.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Im really having problems linking Rumple RN. Once more he played the sweet innocense that is Belle and that freaking smirk when he got the dagger was just too much. And then he Goes all "i love you, please dont leave me" on the store.

I really dont know how Belle will have him back but as of right now, he doesnt deserve her. He, his right hand and his precious dagger can go have a hell of a time.

August is back. somehow i didnt see it coming, I like it i hope he stays that way but im sure he will get back to be little pinnochio.
The Charmings should tell Emma once and for all what they did, they are too suspicious around her and i guess they will say something when it will be too late

    ReplyDelete
  55. I guess I see them more of not wanting Emma to know all the things he did as a pirate. As far as Snow and Charming I have to see how that plays out as I am having a hard time so far having any sympathy foe Malificent, even with child. Everyone in SB has a past and most are not to be proud of. The show is about getting past the dark to the good so you can either do that or not.

    ReplyDelete
  56. I am really not liking Maleficent out of all the Queens. (I didn't like the movie Maleficent; it was one of the most pointless movies ever made--literally nothing happened during that 97 minute waste of life. Also, I do not want Aurora, Philip, or Mulan to return. (Once ruined Mulan who was my favorite Princess as a kid.)) Though, I am always rooting for the heroes [and Hook (who has always been my favorite villain due to the movie Hook)], anyway. I like a little righteousness in my characters.

This episode was too campy for me. The fairybacks this second half haven't been very good, but this one was definitely the worst. It was just so off with the feel of the Enchanted Forest we usually experience. And the whole evil wild girls night and implications of it were bizarre. And the continuity was off--first Regina is seemingly fine (maybe a little shaken) out in the middle of nowhere with Snow and Charming talking about the destroyed police car (random), then she's in her crypt with a hangover. Since when are there train tracks in Storybrooke? Maybe they are downhill from the random rope bridge ravine from 3X17. ;) It is just me or was this episode, again, bizarre? And I know that is saying a lot for a show where well...you know any number of things are seemingly straight out of a fever dream, but really. I appreciated Darkness on the Edge of Town and Unforgiven (because of the focus on Snow, Charming, and Emma). I almost miss the Frozen arc with this episode. I hated the movie Frozen and was bored by the Arendale fairybacks, but 4A had a lightness that makes this show cleaner content wise than anything on network TV. I really hope that light doesn't disappear with the Queens of Darkness.

And I never complain about the CGI, but that dragon just gets worse and worse. I think they used up all their money for the Chernobog.

The only good part of this episode--August is back. His character is the reason I stuck out through the first season. He made me care about Emma which is why I, then continued to watch after he was gone. I wasn't angry about the reboot of Pinocchio, but right now my favorite storyline is the search for the author and August is potentially a big part of that.

A sidenote: the guy who plays Hook is definitely the best actor on the show--he plays all the emotions to a T and mimics Rumpelstiltskin so well. Out of all the players his performance is always the most consistent. That being said when you find out your favorite character is actually one of your least favorite characters it's kind of a disappointment. Though, I am excited to see the consequences of Rumple so recklessly revealing himself to Regina* and imitating Hook. [If only Belle wasn't so dense she might figure it out eventually.] *How does Rumple not know what team Regina is on? I thought that wasn't really up to interpretation anymore even if she did lose Robin Hood.

I'm looking forward to next week--a Hook backstory and August.

    ReplyDelete
  57. I loved that episode! One of the strongest imo. Extremely little romance and no Hook/Emma helped a lot too :) I really love seeing everything from the villains point of view so far, it's a really nice and interesting change. Maleficent just gets better and better each episode! It's cool to see so many old characters returning as well, and a few more on the way.

Next week's episode seems Hook centric, I'm looking forward to finally getting some backstory on Ursula but Hook just does my head in.

    ReplyDelete
  58. That was a really fun episode, even if they screwed up their timeline more. And the author/Operation Mongoose is still the most nonsensical story they've ever done.

The Maleficent/Regina scenes were great. And they seem like they have definitely banged.

Rumple remains the grossest. I really, really hope their plan is not to get Rumbelle back together because what he did to Belle tonight was terrifying. Tricking her so he could touch her is so low.

The Queens of Darkness + Regina remain amazing. Villains getting drunk and setting stuff on fire is everything I've ever wanted from this show.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Well, what exactly is she supposed to be worried about? He refuses to tell her so she should be worried about her boyfriend lying over her friend in serious danger? That doesn't really make sense.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Okay . . . haha . . .that's what I thought. I knew Belle had been fooled though. I kept flipping back to TWD repeat on AMC so I thought I missed something.

Anyway, I'm happy my Rumple has his dagger!

    ReplyDelete
  61. I guess I don't really see that he is lying to her he was at first yes but then she accepted that he was a different person then and is willing to wait until he is ready to tell her. He did admit it was bad she did say I choose to see the good in your. I guess given what we know about Ursula her exacting some revenge on Hook would make sense. If it were me I'd be worried. But we all see things differently. And I didn't say she shouldn't be worried about Regina. I would be too. But I'd also want to protect my mate.

    ReplyDelete
  62. that's what i thought she'd do

    ReplyDelete
  63. are you from the opposite world where you want the bad guys to win?

    ReplyDelete
  64. Awesome mostly beacuse of August

    ReplyDelete
  65. Villains getting drunk and Maleficent drugging herself with an alternated Sleeping Curse? Why haven't they thought of it earlier? :D
I loved how they introduced Regina and Maleficent's relationship. I was surprised to see it was long before Regina was the Evil Queen. It brings a new depth to those characters.
Funny how Emma was the only one really concerned about Regina. Sometimes with Emma running after her all the time I can understand how the SQ ship came to be.

    ReplyDelete
  66. Rumple as Hook sits next to Will and "Revenge"-advertising. I smirked. We all know what Rumple think about revenge, it isn't?

    ReplyDelete
  67. oh huh that IS funny LOL

    ReplyDelete
  68. oh yes, it is :-)

    ReplyDelete
  69. Seeing how Maleficent can be protective with the young Regina, i can't hardly imagine what she will be able to do for her own child.

    ReplyDelete
  70. is Regina pretending to be evil & kidnaped him or did she want to do it? Is she evil again? :(

    ReplyDelete
  71. I think it was good but less good than last week's "Unforgiven". Lana is always stellar but proving to be a villain like that is a bit weird to me. The only "test" valuable was with Pinocchio. It's not cool for him but it's sort of useful compared to the rest. But I liked Regina in the flashbacks. I would have liked more Sleeping Beauty mythology but it's okay.
And props to Colin for doing his Rumple-esque. The scene with Belle and her heart was extremely weird to watch but Emilie and Colin have a good chemistry. Rumple's tricks are a bit upsetting and odd but I like how he wanted to know about Belle, their relation ship ...
For the rest I can't really say, I watched it live at 2 am, it's not really clear.

    ReplyDelete
  72. Yeah, except Rumple still clearly wants her back. Even when he was Killian, he said "He took something I care for" when talking about what Will did to Killian (although I think this was Rumple talking about Will and Belle). I just hate seeing him grin when he manipulates her... because he also seems to be plotting on how to get her back. So it's like... pick one, man. ha ha

    ReplyDelete
  73. He lied right to her face and she said he was lying and he basically said "Yeah". And because Emma has no personal standards she accepted it when she should have pushed.

    ReplyDelete
  74. Honestly I felt a little bit uneasy about how he got his dagger back because he fooled Belle again. Although he persues his happy ending this will fire back. I am stuck between sympathy for and disappointment towards him.

    ReplyDelete
  75. I LOVE that August is reaged but I do hope they won't go for a love triangle with August-Emma-Hook. That said I always loved August and Emma's dynamic :)

    ReplyDelete
  76. I agree with you that Rumple did not give a second thought about manipulating Belle was painful. But somehow I am not sure if he will ever change. I mean when he said "He took something I care for." referring to Will, he ignored the fact that it was her decision, too. She does not love Will but if it makes her happy, Rumple should finally try to let her be happy even if it is not with him. It hurts that he ruins his lowering chances with Belle time after time. Maybe they will be back together at some point in the future but if Belle has some self-respect it won't be until he changes and that might take a while.

    ReplyDelete
  77. :D I loved the bad girls night out, too. Making a mess in Granny's Dinner drinking all her booze and afterwards set a car on fire, was so cool. I would have loved to be a part of that. And Madame Mayor Mills having a hangover was something I did not knew I needed until now.

    ReplyDelete
  78. There is so much to like. Belle handing over the dagger to Transformed Rumpel. Regina watching when August is returned. I loved the story between Maleficent and Regina in FTL. The reveal to Regina that Rumpel is back.

    ReplyDelete
  79. This was a great episode, the Maleficent/Regina relationship was wonderful to watch. I'm really enjoying their interactions in both the past and present. I also love the Regina/Emma friendship they're a fun pair as well.

I liked the Hook/Belle scene, I wavered on Hook being Rumple throughout the scene but what was great was when Belle commanded the Dark One to Present himself (I can't remember the correct words used), Hook immediately turned to face Belle, that's what I realized that Hook was really Rumple...it was a good Con.

Usually I lose interest with OUAT after the first episode but these Queens of Darkness (Maleficent + Regina) are actually working for me. I also like how they're laying the seeds for Emma to be corrupted. Everyone she loves is lying to her and she knows it but can't prove it or accept it. The doubts and distrust will grow as will the anger.

    ReplyDelete
  80. Wow Regina was outstanding and I didnt think Rumple would transform into Hook with Belle that was genial and SwanQueen was outstanding. Love Regina x Maleficent & Rumple

    ReplyDelete
  81. the view Hook/Rumple gave to Belle when she said: come and face me... priceless :-)

    ReplyDelete
  82. Meh, didn't love it, didn't hate it. I felt it was slower paced than usual.
Some interesting things, but didn't grab me

    ReplyDelete
  83. My very favourite thing is when they do ridiculous stuff with fairytale characters. They've already screwed up their 'modern' fairytales idea so it's great when they do something fun with it instead.

    ReplyDelete
  84. Thanks for saying this, I agree I am getting tired of Rumple always using Hook and Belle. I want Hook t have a purpose in SB other than Emma's love interst, which I like, and Rumples go to when he needs something evil done and he can't do it. And how do we ever hold out hope for RB if he continues to use her and fool her. That's getting old too, for me.

    ReplyDelete
  85. I love Rumple. He is my favorite character on this show. It really doesn't bother me that he tricked Belle. She used the dagger against him. I know it was to save lives, but I really see it as huge betrayal to him. In my mind, Rumple had to do it to get his dagger back. He should really never let that dagger fall into anyone else's hands again.

    ReplyDelete
  86. Oh, I agree. Rumple definitely wants her back. I think it's complicated b/c he is a complicated character.
He was pleased that his deception on her worked - heck, I cheered in my house when I figured out he was projecting himself as Hook - but he was also saddened to see her laughing freely and happily w/Will. He wants her to be happy w/him, but he doesn't want to give up total control over himself to someone. I can understand that esp given his background history, and when you see how Belle used his power against him, can you really blame him for wanting his dagger back? Anyway, I like the complexity in Rumple. He is not just your standard villain. He has layers and is motivated by a lot of things. All that villains on this show are, which makes them more interesting characters, IMO.
The only villain I straight up hate is Hook, and that's for what he did to Rumple back in the day. IMO, they haven't done much to layer his character.

    ReplyDelete
  87. Haha! It depends on the villain.
I love Rumple so any time he prevails - whether he's being good or bad - makes me happy. I'm enjoying Cruella, Ursula, and Malificent. I used to hate Regina but I like her now. I actually prefer her being good to being bad b/c her reason for being bad is simply ridiculous, IMO.
I hated Peter Pan and that red-haired villain - I think she was Regina's sister or something - from last year. I hated those characters and was happy to see them defeated!

    ReplyDelete
  88. I agree. By the time this show ends, I hope they will have introduced a new love interest for Rumple b/c Belle is just not the woman for him.

    ReplyDelete
  89. Well, before she used the dagger against him, he fooled her. Maybe they aren't supposed to be.
But I share the sympathy for villains. I like Rumple and my favorite character is Regina. I like where they come from and their resilient strive.

    ReplyDelete
  90. yes that was it exactly. As soon as that happened I realized Hook was really Rumple.

    ReplyDelete
  91. How? It's not the case yet from my point of view. Would you explain yours?

  92. Pretty boring. Too much chasing after the author. Don't really care about Regina or her sad search to blame some vague author for her long list of evil deeds. Emma acted completely out of character by letting Regina kidnap child Pinocchio. And then she was duped--Regina betrayed her and dropped her phone so Emma couldn't follow to protect Pinocchio. I'm beginning to think Emma is just about the most incompetent sheriff in the world.
So far, 4B is not living up to the standard of 4A. Too little time on the key romantic and family relationships. This is a show about fairy tales. Without focus on love and romance, the show lacks heart. Rumbelle and Outlaw Queen are apart, Captain Swan gets only a little screen time, and Snowing is being used as a plot device. Almost zero focus on the key parent-child relationships--Snowing/Emma, Regina/Henry, Emma/Henry. And where is baby Neal? About the only relationship that gets any screen time is the Regina/Emma friendship, which is strained and forced and lacks the chemistry of the more interesting friendships on the show--Snow/Regina, Snow/Red, Emma/Elsa, etc. Rumple posing as Hook was about the only interesting thing about this episode. I will yawn and see if next week is better.

  93. What Hook did to Rumple?

    ReplyDelete
  94. Why? Because she has a right to know? Seriously? He'll tell when he's ready. It's his decision and not hers.

  95. because at that moment it is incredibly important to their continued safety. There are a series of people about to torture someone but Hook doesn't want to tell Emma something that is likely important?

  96. OH, i thought you meant the scenes on the police station from last episode.

  99. Only "OK" from me. Without flashbacks? "Poor"/"Awful".

  100. Oh my goodness! He stole Rumple's wife back when Rumple was a just a man, and he was horribly rude and dismissive to him. I felt really bad for Rumple in those FBs b/c he seemed like a good guy who didn't want any trouble. He was a bit cowardly, but that is not a crime. His wife was a horrible woman, and Hook was just really nasty to him. I haven't seen those episodes in a while, but I never cared for Hook after watching those FBs.

  101. Stole? STOLE? She wanted to leave Rumple and Hook helped her. I'm not Hook's fan and i really disliked him in season 2 but in RumpleHook FBs he was more as a victim. After all Rumple cut off his hand.

  102. Aurora is the same age as regina? Or maybe Snow white? Nope. That doesn't make sense.

  103. Why do you link Hooks past with Ursula and August torture?

    ReplyDelete
  104. Yes . . . "stole." He went after a married woman and gloated about it in the husband's face! Of course, it was ultimately Rumple's wife's decision, but Hook was not a decent or moral person to do what he did! I can't wait to find out what he did to Ursula b/c I'm sure it was horrible and treacherous. I cannot stand Hook! We will just have to agree to disagree on him.
IMO, Hook (and Rumple's wife) made Rumple what he is. They utterly broke him. I was happy when Rumple took Hook's hand. I couldn't care less about Hook. He's a complete jerk, IMO, and is completely undeserving of a happy ending.

  105. Do you have the same opinion about Regina?

    ReplyDelete
  106. I like Regina now. I used to dislike her, but she's much better than she used to be. Honestly, I prefer her "good" (or gray) b/c the reason she became "evil" was silly to me. Snow was a little girl when she "betrayed" Regina. That was no reason to go insane and become evil, IMO. Snow didn't even intend to hurt Regina. Hook and Rumple's wife were purposefully cruel to him.

  107. If something is important and going to affect the town but Hook would rather lie to Emma again about it, it's a pretty terrible thing to do.
