I think it was shock and also "How could you not tell me sooner?" reaction. It's one of those things where you are devastated and it's so much easier to feel anger at first then to recognize you could lose someone you love so very much.
Amazing, best episode in along time and this season. Powerful performances from both Connie and Charles I'm so glad the cancer storyline isn't dragging out anymore.
still crying my eyes out! absolutely perfect ep! :) definitely best this season IMHO! can't wait for the next one...but when it will be? I'm hearing 2-3 weeks, is that true? :(
great episode, I cant wait to see how Rayna and Deacon build on this. I would have maybe liked to see another 30 seconds on the final scene to give it a bit more but I generally loved it.
I think the slap was to cut him off because he was about to say something like, "I'm not going to make it." It was right as he was saying, "I got 6 months on a transplant list and if I don't get..."
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I'm glad Deacon finally told Rayna the truth. I was all "what the hell" when she slapped him but that was probably just shock. Poor them.
ReplyDeleteAnd good for Sadie for speaking out about the abuse she suffered!
Sleek job :)
