Well as usual, very good episode, left us some clues to upcoming eps which is nice. Poor Skye, hopefully Coulson May and Fitz continue to fight for her or nobody will. It will be interesting to see May's ex husband try to help Skye, I think it will lead up to Civil War as somebody previously pointed out. I hope Skye gets to face her father in the next episode! Cal seems a little unhinged (understatement of the century). On a final note I hope fate isn't in control here....and yay Sif (though I hated her for one second) she is still my fav from Thor! Can't wait for next week, makes Mondays bearable
OK if they keep thinking Syke is a dangerous threat she might well be one but happy Coulson May and Fitz continue to fight for her I wish Stif could be a series regular
but she didn't stop when Fitz called her, it's as if she lost trust in him. Didn't she hear him defending her. I love Mama and Papa Philinda except for that end scene between them, i'm worried
oh awesome that Mig-Na said that !!! i haven't heard that, i always hear Chloe and Clark talk about the relationship between them. I just don't understand why people can't accept that
but she knows Fitz trusts and wants to protect her, it's like it's only with him that doesn't lose control. So i was sad that she kept walking when he called her
MACK WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU?!!!!!!!!! just when i started to like Hunter you knock him out!!!!! YOU SON OF BITCH!!!!!!!!!!!!! i wanted Skye to stop when Fitz called her name and then hug, he was defending her!!!!! Sif was so hilarious but i hated her for a while when she wanted to take Skye. Skye had SERIOUS guts when she shot herself with the ICER, i DID NOT see that coming! Coulson, May PLEASE don't turn your back on you daughter, SCREW FATE!!!!!!
Just in some way sounds weird, I do see the similarities but I really don't want to see it in that way because the second one team-member eventually turns against them the whole thing will just hurt more
So, what do you consider Ward, Simmons, Mockingbird, Mack and Hunter to be?
Ward - the prom date Daddy Coulson would love to shoot Simmons - the hot cousin Fitz has a crush on
And those families are far more real than blood. I have never sat down to think about the SHIELD team that way, but it's pretty accurate. They are all quite close and have love for one another, it's cute. I've always enjoyed the scenes were they're just sitting around, talking and enjoying each others company.
Let's bring Lady Sif for more episode please!!! Love her ;) Skye and Fitz.... I very much like those 2 together :) and Fitz for me in this episode was my hero!!!! ;)
Ward's part of the family but he's just in time-out right now (LOL). Jemma, Bobbi, Lance (and Trip) are also siblings. Side-eying Mack's role right now, especially after what he did.
It does sound weird but ultimately its harmless. Annoying but harmless. You gotta wonder some times what show they think they're watching or want to watch. I find the fixation (and it is a fixation) to this mommy, daddy thing odd. It's as if they think they're watching a bed time story that ends with "and they lived happily ever after". This is a show with space aliens and Nazis. Not your bed time story stuff and in April Daredevil will be introduced into the universe and that's gonna have lots of blood and violence. So again, why people zero in with the intensity as they do on this mommy, daddy stuff: I can't really say. To each his or her own. Its still weird though.
It was great that the show finally addressed the Kree and gave backstory on them especially on the Kree war with Earth's inhabitants being turned into soldiers so to speak. And there is still one more diviner that hasn't been destroyed, Coulson! Our Inhuman friend with no eyes, Reader has it. Hmmm, will more humans be created into Inhumans in the future?
Lady Sif's return was awesome and I still smile when she says "Son of Coul" to Coulson. It's just perfect for him :) I still believe that this should be annual thing with her. It would be so cool.
Oh god there is such a big crack in the team and it's already breaking my heart :( Everyone being mad at Fitz (especially Simmons), Mack saying that they need protection from Skye, and now Skye locking herself up in the room to distance herself from the team. It's just a mess and it's messing with my emotions too much. Fix this, team!
Okay, Mack just crossed the line at the final scene. I know he's trying to make sure no one knows about his and Bobbi's secret mission but really? Choking out Lance? He's really starting to get on my nerves a little bit which is a shame because I really liked him in the beginning of the season when he joined the team. And he came up with the best nickname ever for Fitz (Turbo). And the suspense is killing me though. I need to know what that damn secret mission is already!! I just know it's going to be a huge reveal.
Is it just me or should the actress who plays "Lady Sif" (Jaime Alexander) have been casted as "Wonder Woman" for the film series and/or the TV pilot? Nobody 4 NOW!!!
no it's sort of like her last show Kyle XY,she's an amnesiac who is someone VERY important, but damned if she wouldn't make a great Amazonian Princess Diana Prince
Damn Mack I liked you. I loved your friendship with Fitz and helping his recovery. I loved your vibe with the rest of the team. But the things you are doing right now are not cool and not okay. The secrets, the anti Skye attitude and now knocking out Hunter for apparently getting to close to the secret. Not cool Mack. Your going to have to do a lot to gain back my like for his character. This secret of his and Bobbi's better go somewhere really awesome and hopeful for the team or I will be kind of disappointed.
Thank You! I thought I was the only one who they it was creepy and weird how people called them Papa and Mama. I was gonna say so last week, but if I did everyone would treated me like Skye is being treated now lol.
Great episode. Expect for the end before the credit.
Lots of good reference this episode for, I especially liked it when Sif smiled when hearing Thor. Her memory lost state was better then expected with how the outcome turned out. Same with The Kree Vin-Tak, Once I reconginzed him from the video as being Eddie/Pete, I was like oh hell yea I love that dude, and he turned out to be nice dude just doing his job from his peoples side.
Glad Skye secret came out, but am not glad how her "friends" still treat her. Makes me wonder is that how they felt about the Avengers also. If not that's bs.ds.
Only part I didn't like was Skye locking herself in a containment room. Sure it makes a point that I mean no harm, but with that bag in hand it would of been better if she left solo style.
Mack and Bobbi... I wonder what bs group they are working for. And they said so themselves if they left they would be on different side.
Btw did anyone read the Bio for this episode on Wikipedia lol: That was the biggest troll description for this episode ever.
Reading something along the lines of: Sif attacks Coulson and team thinking they are dangerous, later kills Coulson, then Bobbie and Mack are revealed to be Hydra and leave, and Later Skye tries to revive Coulson with GH.325 and turns out to be a kree. I was laughing thinking da heck is this.
nope, he said himself, a small fraction of his people went out in to different worlds to experiment and create armies for destruction, this was some time ago. And he came to retrieve the Diviners. He viewed the Inhuman as dangerous because in a way they are and his people believed that same faction of Kree would come for them if they found out.
I was talking about how there is still a Diviner out there that Coulson doesn't know about. Gordon has it (remember that final scene in the midseason finale?)
oh ok yeah that makes much more sense LOL and honestly Gordon might not be the only one with a Diviner, i mean he's the only Inhuman we've seen other than Skye and Raina
wait why the hell Mack did that to Hunter? when Hunter wakes up what he is gonna expect Hunter to do? forget that everything happened?. I dont know but im not sure about that ending. The secret is out and i get why most of them are afraid of what Skye can do. I like that Fitz always tries to see the good in everyone, he certainly did it with Ward (and look where that got him) and he is still that guy that will try to protect his friends.
XD Hahaha, they're right. Ultimately it's harmless...but it gets kinda annoying to see every comment on every post say that. I mean I always have a soft spot for family dynamics...but the thought of all of them calling each other Daddy or Mommy is just sooooo weird to think about and it makes me cringe.
i'm scared that Mack will, i don't even want to say it, to Hunter if he's that desperate to keep whatever secret he and Bobbi are hiding, which Bobbie seems to have second thoughts about
yea think of the children lol. No but its always good to have an opinion. For me I view each people as an individual, and try to understand their history and how they came to be, if it doesn't make sense and their action lean to the opposite of the justice they may deserve then yea its OK to call them bad.evil whatever.
I don't think Skye is suicidal...but I think people can do crazy things in the spur of the moment to protect the people they care about. So, I just could not tell if she was trying to kill herself to protect everyone or if she actually knew it was an icer. But I'm inclined to believe she knew it was an icer because of the way she shot herself. It was a little to the left of her heart near her shoulder so it makes me believe she was at least 80% sure. Haha, could you imagine if she was wrong?
That's very true. Especially with Raina, with her trying to kill herself by walking through traffic...which sounds like a terrible way to die because nothing is ever for certain when trying it that way. I mean even Gordan was like "WTF?!" and he was prepared. It makes me wonder if Skye's mother had any sort of backlash with her transformation. Her mother's ability was so elegant, in my opinion, compared to the rest of the Inhuman's that we have seen.
Brilliant episode. I can see both sides of the coin here considering Skye, on one hand she's like your family, you would do anything for her even if it meant risking your life. On the other hand she's extremely dangerous like Sif said and other people, people who were also like family aka Triplett have died from this so you want to contain it etc. I think personally both sides are just reacting extremely emotionally at the moment once they sought of claim down at a bit they can figure this out. Truly a brilliant episode, one of the best in my opinion of the series. Agents of SHIELD to me is at its best when there's an emotional element driving the plot, can't wait for the next Ep.
Ps. I love the special effects when Skye is having a shake? Lol I don't know what you'd call it.
Good episode. I love Sif. I was as confused as Coulson was by her speech at the end. LOL. I loved seeing May and Skye training and the Skye/ Fitz scenes were great. After that ending scene, it kind of seems like Mack should be the one locked up in the vault for being a threat to the team. I don't get what he intends to do with Hunter. Is he going to lock him up somewhere and tell everyone he left or something?
Crazy how that episode went from LOL moments to a total meltdown so quick! I actually did laugh out loud with the whole Thor reference. I haven't seen the first Thor movie, but it was really really cute. I love Sif, her lines were hilarious! "SHUT UP.' 'Answer him elderly man' hahaha. Very good move to bring her in. And even the Kree fellow was fun, plus seeing all the hints from the Double Agent web series.
I like how they're handling the while Skye situation. It's moving along quickly, and is quite interesting.
This whole Bobbi/Mac thing has got me on edge though. First of all, I hate Mac. He's ruining everything!! My can't he let Hunter and Bobbi be happy!! Plus, their thing sounds super shady. I don't like it at all. I really want Bobbi to stay 100% on the SHIELD side, but they're making it sound like she and Mac are breaking out a whole new organisation to take over the remains of SHIELD. And poor Hunter "I'm so glad we're on the same side now!" </3
Fun episode, and I'm glad the whole team knows about Skye's powers now, bit hard to hide an earthquake for too long.
The Mack hate here is kind of predictable. Its clear he actually cares about Hunter, the reason why he suggested to Bobbi that she pull away from their relationship was because he hopes in the future when this all blows over the three of them can still be friends. And its clear he didn't want to hurt him at the end.
Theory of the week about who they are working for, Hill, Stark and the Avengers. The Avengers are the 'back-up', why I think this could be the case is that we know the Avengers are dealing with Hydra at the start of Age of Ultron, if things get too crazy with Hydra could it be that Bobbi informs Hill and the Avengers have to handle it? Who knows. I will probably change my theory next week.
So... Can someone explain to me what Sif meant at the end? Because I find it very confusing... Was it a metaphor or something? I don't get it, and I would feel stupid, but looking around seems like a lot of people didn't understand what she meant either.
I loved how they didn't keep Skye's powers a secret for long, it would have been a bad idea. Also, I really liked Mack before, now I just want to punch him in the face! What does he plan to do with Hunter now? Lock him up? He's the dangerous one, not Skye. Speaking of, that final team scene kinda broke my heart a little bit. I have the feeling that things are about to get worse before they get even a little better. And last, I liked this side of Sif, she was so funny, there was a couple of moments where I couldn't stop laughing. Can't wait until next week's episode to meet May's ex and have Cal back again, I love that man, he's hilarious and veeeery crazy. He's awesome.
Screw you, Mack. Don't you dare to lay a finger on Skye or any of them, like Hunter. That was NOT OK. Leave them alone, your attitude makes things worse. I loved Mack for understanding and helping Fitz, but now I want him to go.
May's reaction when Skye shot herself was touching. It's great to see that they got so close. Look at their relationship in season 1 and now. May will even visit her ex-husband to help her. The Skye-May relationship is my favourite right now, besides the Skye-Fitz relationship.
I get where your coming from, in my own opinion from what I've seen she can't control her ability, she had to shoot herself with one of those guns (forget what they're called) to stop it, to me as I see the situation that's dangerous (perhaps I should have worded it better in my previous comment) unless I missed something in the ep, it was pretty late at night when I watched it. Anyways that's just my take on things. I can also see why Fitz would be so protective over her because there are people who would want to kill her because of it and I get that. Fitz's loyalty is very touching to me and I think the guy that plays him is really good at his job. Anyway that's just my thoughts as I said. I'm not trying to disprove anyone or start an argument that's just my take on it is all.
I loved it sif brought in some great comedic moments in the show Blue kree dude was cool I still doubt his intentions with the diviners though although I looked how his and Bobbi's fight didn't affect Amy of the Mac computers in the lab (they are expensive after all Skye iced herself for the team and poor thing after all that to hear what the others think of her that's gotta hurt Damn those 4 people ganging up on poor fitz didn't like how they cornered him and jemma most of all from being my fav to someone I have started to despise not cool whedons .
Someone told me on twitter a couple of hours ago that they thought that she was warning him about sticking his nose in other worlds/species issues/business. That it basically was a teaser for Civil Wars and Infinity Wars. I guess it could be that, but I still think it was more than that.
According to this Kree he said they shut down the project on earth but the ppl managed to create a city in the mountains so there is a possibility at some point in AOS if it last that long that the end credit scene would be the reveal of the city.
There will be another one. the guy who played in Tomorrow People as been casted as the guy who will help skye control her powers but we the audience won't know his true agenda.
Seeing Sif was really fun. i hope we regularly get to see more characters from the movies even just supporting ones are great. also beginning to think bobbi and mack are skrulls...
I keep wondering if I should read the comics but they're so many! I wouldn't know where to start, and then they keep resetting themselves in different universes and what not! It's too much for my poor brain.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Aw, poor Skye. But we got Mama Mama and Papa Coulson and Protective Big Brother!Fitz and I loved it so much.
ReplyDeleteWHAT THE HELL, MACK. WHAT IS THE MATTER WITH YOU?
And I need Sif to come back please.
Loved Lady Sif :), "There are tides in the universe you cannot swim against.”, lol “Son of Coul” :)
ReplyDeleteCoulson protecting Skye :) "If you take her away from the people she loves it will only get worse". Poor Skye :(
Also really happy they promoted Daredevil and showed the trailer during S.H.I.E.L.D. :)
ReplyDeleteIt's really weird how you call them Papa Coulson, Mama May and all...it`s kind of weird to bring that mentality to this show
ReplyDeleteOK if they keep thinking Syke is a dangerous threat she might well be one but happy Coulson May and Fitz continue to fight for her I wish Stif could be a series regular
ReplyDeleteIt was shak...shak...shaking... O.o
ReplyDeletebut she didn't stop when Fitz called her, it's as if she lost trust in him. Didn't she hear him defending her. I love Mama and Papa Philinda except for that end scene between them, i'm worried
ReplyDeleteMing herself refers to May as the mom of the group and Coulson and Chloe have repeatedly stated they consider Skye to be Coulson's daughter.
ReplyDeleteThey're a family, one they chose themselves and that's that.
pun?
ReplyDeleteNo, Skye doesn't trust herself. That's the difference.
ReplyDeleteAnd they love Skye and they'll protect her with everything they have.
oh awesome that Mig-Na said that !!! i haven't heard that, i always hear Chloe and Clark talk about the relationship between them. I just don't understand why people can't accept that
ReplyDeleteYup! Ming also said that Skye is like May and Coulson's adopted daughter so...
ReplyDeleteSorry, it's 3am in here. I can't find normal words to describe what I feel. It was just so epic! :)
ReplyDeletebut she knows Fitz trusts and wants to protect her, it's like it's only with him that doesn't lose control. So i was sad that she kept walking when he called her
ReplyDeleteright?! although hearing Eddie McClintock talk all deep was so weird LOL but he was so badass!!!!
ReplyDeleteoh MY GOD you want to kill me don't you? LOL that's freaking awesomely sweet!
ReplyDeleteCivil War's coming and coming fast isn't? i actually think maybe that who Bobbie and bastard Mack are working for but maybe that's crazy
ReplyDeleteMACK WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU?!!!!!!!!! just when i started to like Hunter you knock him out!!!!! YOU SON OF BITCH!!!!!!!!!!!!! i wanted Skye to stop when Fitz called her name and then hug, he was defending her!!!!! Sif was so hilarious but i hated her for a while when she wanted to take Skye. ReplyDeletedamn fear of the unknown!
ReplyDeleteGreat episode. Expect for the end before the credit.
ReplyDeleteLots of good reference this episode for, I especially liked it when Sif smiled when hearing Thor.
Her memory lost state was better then expected with how the outcome turned out.
Same with The Kree Vin-Tak, Once I reconginzed him from the video as being Eddie/Pete, I was like oh hell yea I love that dude, and he turned out to be nice dude just doing his job from his peoples side.

ReplyDeleteyeah that's true, i guess i see Krees as heartless remorseless people ever since Guardians and Ronan
ReplyDeletethe movie did say he was acting on his own, his planet didn't approve of him.
ReplyDeleteAgents of S.H.I.E.L.D. should really begin by using the Sanford & Son theme, lol.
ReplyDeleteyeah but the fact the the Kree president i guess, didn't care made me see all Kree as villains
ReplyDeletewait why the hell Mack did that to Hunter? when Hunter wakes up what he is gonna expect Hunter to do? forget that everything happened?. I dont know but im not sure about that ending.

one can say, since one does a president care about that one person. Its usually the underdog or and outsider of any race or group that cares.
ReplyDeleteXD Hahaha, they're right. Ultimately it's harmless...but it gets kinda annoying to see every comment on every post say that. ReplyDeletenot exactly a fictional subject huh? LOL
ReplyDeleteyea, but it translate sometimes in to comic these subjects.
ReplyDeletei guess i should owe a sorry to all GOOD Krees then LOL
ReplyDeleteI got so excited when I saw the Daredevil promo in the commercials! Had no idea it would premiere tonight so it was a nice little surprise :)
ReplyDeleteyea think of the children lol. No but its always good to have an opinion. ReplyDelete"I tell you what Fitz...come back in an hour I'll be happy to show you what's all about"
ReplyDeletePhil: "who can explain the mysteries of the Asgardian brain?"
May: "I can."
gotta love May! :D
Brilliant episode. I can see both sides of the coin here considering Skye, on one hand she's like your family, you would do anything for her even if it meant risking your life.

ReplyDeleteThat. Was. Epic.
ReplyDeleteI'm afraid Mac will do just that or worse! SO pissed at him!

And poor Hunter "I'm so glad we're on the same side now!" </3
Haha I was thinking of you through all the Parenty Coulson and May scenes. "Klutzy must be looooving this'
ReplyDeleteFun episode, and I'm glad the whole team knows about Skye's powers now, bit hard to hide an earthquake for too long.
ReplyDeleteThe Mack hate here is kind of predictable.
Well awesome episode, but Mack from the looks of it turns out to be bad guy along with Bobbi.
ReplyDeleteAh, nonsense, they most likely just have a side mission, perhaps from Fury.
ReplyDeleteThat point would have been good if hasn't attacked Hunter the way he did.
ReplyDeleteSkye is not dangerous, she just has an ability which is dangerous. Skye would rather kill herself than anyone else.
ReplyDeleteLooks most likely more serious than it truly is.
ReplyDeleteI hope you're right because if you are wrong we are going to see a lot of dead bodies.
ReplyDeleteSo... Can someone explain to me what Sif meant at the end? Because I find it very confusing... Was it a metaphor or something? I don't get it, and I would feel stupid, but looking around seems like a lot of people didn't understand what she meant either.
ReplyDeleteI loved how they didn't keep Skye's powers a secret for long, it would have been a bad idea.
Where the heck is WARD?!!
ReplyDeleteScrew you, Mack. Don't you dare to lay a finger on Skye or any of them, like Hunter. That was NOT OK. Leave them alone, your attitude makes things worse.
ReplyDeleteI loved Mack for understanding and helping Fitz, but now I want him to go.
ReplyDeleteAnyways that's just my take on things.
Would have even have liked to see her as super girl
ReplyDeleteRight with you!!;)
ReplyDeleteI loved it sif brought in some great comedic moments in the show
ReplyDeleteBlue kree dude was cool I still doubt his intentions with the diviners though although I looked how his and Bobbi's fight didn't affect Amy of the Mac computers in the lab (they are expensive after all
Skye iced herself for the team and poor thing after all that to hear what the others think of her that's gotta hurt
Damn those 4 people ganging up on poor fitz didn't like how they cornered him and jemma most of all from being my fav to someone I have started to despise not cool whedons .
what r the chances that Bobby and Mac work for another agency (eg CIA) or the army?
ReplyDeleteI didn't understand annnnny of what Sif said. It didn't even seem to foreshadow anything!
ReplyDeleteAnd OMG yeah, this side of Sif was to die for. I haven't actual loled during a drama for a looog time.
Someone told me on twitter a couple of hours ago that they thought that she was warning him about sticking his nose in other worlds/species issues/business. That it basically was a teaser for Civil Wars and Infinity Wars.
ReplyDeleteI guess it could be that, but I still think it was more than that.
Totally agree with you regarding Skye/Fitz/May. Those relationships are fantastic this season.
ReplyDeleteNot unlikely. Sharon went to the CIA at the end of TWS so maybe they're working with her...?
ReplyDeleteAccording to this Kree he said they shut down the project on earth but the ppl managed to create a city in the mountains so there is a possibility at some point in AOS if it last that long that the end credit scene would be the reveal of the city.
ReplyDeleteThere will be another one. the guy who played in Tomorrow People as been casted as the guy who will help skye control her powers but we the audience won't know his true agenda.
ReplyDeleteIt was a step of from last week. Last week focused on Rains and this one focused on Daisy
ReplyDeleteSeeing Sif was really fun. i hope we regularly get to see more characters from the movies even just supporting ones are great. also beginning to think bobbi and mack are skrulls...
ReplyDeleteAaaaah. I need to look up the Infinity Wars. I just recently checked out the Civil War because of all the hype.
ReplyDeleteI have to do that too, because I'm starting to get a little lost when they talk about it.
ReplyDeleteI keep wondering if I should read the comics but they're so many! I wouldn't know where to start, and then they keep resetting themselves in different universes and what not! It's too much for my poor brain.
