Going to be forever bitter that they canceled this show, but at least they gave it a proper send off. Now please excuse me while I go eat my feelings and curse at the CW.
The perfect ending to an amazing show that should have gotten more PR, more viewers and more seasons. I fell so lucky to have been a part of the BB family for the last few years. I remember being miserable and sad a grey Tuesday in the fall of 2012 and I had watched all my regular US shows (I live in Denmark) and clicked on HoD. I'm not embarrassed to admit, I have a huge crush on RB and so I watched the pilot and thought it was such a great lighthearted show and with Wade being an underdog pining for the unobtainable girl, I was hooked. I have chatted, discussed and speculated on spoilers for this show ever since and it is going to leave a huge hole in Hart and my daily internet routine. I wish I had a camera because my sobbing tonight over a "girly" show would certainly have gone viral.
Glad they had the foresight to design this as a series finale. It was quite well done and touching. I teared up a few times. The ending musical number threw me for a minute but it turned out to work out really well. One thing I admired about this show was its use of secondary characters. By having so many recurring characters--many of which appear in as nearly many episodes as the regulars-- really helped create an atmosphere in which this small town seemed real. This is something not a lot of shows are able to do very well, and probably for logistical reasons as well as contractual. So it's nice when a show can make it work. I hope Rachel Bilson can find another tv gig in the future. She's such a delightful lady.
That Zoe/Brick hug had me in tears! What a lovely moment between the two... and it was earned!
Lemon being all cool about everything was awesome.
Aw at the New York shoes moment... not gonna lie, I'd watch a spin off of Rose trying to make in NYC.
Nice that we got in some Wade/Lemon time. Their moments have always been a good highlight.
Zoe visiting Harley's grave was sweet. I liked that they played the same music as in the pilot when she was talking to him. It got a little silly as it was ramping towards the end there, but who cares... it's HoD. I'll miss you Bluebell. It was fun!
This was such a beautiful and sweet hour of television. I'm glad they concluded all the characters stories in such a beautiful way. As said in the promo comment that Moment between Brick and Zoey made me tear up! Zoey's delivery was so so funny!
Lemon being so calm was hilarious! And the priest crying at the proposal.
The introduction of the new lawyer(love Autumn Reeser), doctor and bartender was so sweet! That song at the end and the whole town dancing killed me!!!!!!! Beautiful!
Wow, what a great series finale....I'm probably one of five guys in the US that's watched the whole series.... I always knew it was gona be a happy hour.....What started out the be light hearted viewing, ended with me being part of the BlueBell family..... Thanks HoD :))
True!! I hoped they would name the baby Harley. That would be a nice little bow to the series and a throwback to the pilot since Harley brought Zoe to BlueBell..
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
