  1. Guessing my theory about it being the gun that gave Henry his immortality might be right?

It was nice Henry found out he did actually save those slaves in the end. :)

  2. They could have left the slave ship for another season but they didn't so it looks like they know another season is highly unlikely. Too bad, this is a nice show. My guess is they close stories and don't want to leave too many cliffhangers.

  3. I thought it was excellent. Absolutely loved the real story of Henry's ship. And the return of Adam. Cuba was great and I loved his scenes with Jo. I'm still hoping for another season of this show.

  4. I hope they do because I'm pretty sure we won't get another season unfortunately. This show deserves way higher ratings.

I was hoping Cuba's character would be interesting but they stuck with the tired old rich suitor cliche, at least Henry's storyline was very interesting.

  6. Really enjoyed this episode, and especially the final reveal about the ship. Folks watching the show with me had pretty much guessed it all well before the end, but that didn't make it any less satisfying.

What with Abe still trying to convince Henry that he isn't cursed, and Adam trying to convince him that it is, (and will only get worse), I'm thinking they're moving toward having Henry finally make a choice, and decide to start looking for a purpose to his long life, instead of continuing the hunt for ways to die.

  7. While I love the show,I'm perplexed by anyone's thinking this one of the best episodes.
They've created a serious plot hole with Henry being dead below decks, when they've only shown him thrown overboard, and always vanishing as soon as he dies. And it just strains belief that hundreds of survivors of that ship would never have previously created any account of that history that never reached the historically obsessed Henry.

  8. I considered it a given that the slaves rebelling was why the ship was a thousand miles north,as soon as the idea of a rebellion was first included.

I want the show renewed...my bet for season finale is Abigail returning to die with Henry just when he's ready to go to the next level with Jo.

  9. I loved this episode. Even though I suspected that the story of the ship would end this way, I still enjoyed the way it unfolded. It's too bad we probably won't be getting another season.

  10. Awesome episode. The story was unbelievable and i hope to see more. I was happy to see more of Henry's first death, his story and to find out what happened to the slaves. Also great connection that Adam and Henry made, i can't believe the way the connected here.

Just one question to everybody, who were listening, can anyone tell me what kind of dagger did Adam say he got stabbed with.

How are Adam and Henry connected?

  14. Well they are connecting, on their death's. When they met in this club Adam started talking to Henry, about his first death, until that point he we never knew how he died the first time, not to mention the gift that Adam made to Henry, without even asking for anything. And not to mention the end call, where that connection was made stronger by their talk, about how they may end up finding the end of this immortality by killing themselves with the weapons that they were killed first.

It's impossible to prove that the gun it's what "made" Henry immortal. How would you know you're not immortal if you haven't died yet? It's entirely possible (and completely impossible to prove) that Henry's (same goes for Adam) immortality is how they were born. They wouldn't know they're immortal until they died for the first time. How can you prove that you were mortal until you came back from the dead? Being immortal since birth and being immortal until you died the first time are the exact same states.

  16. I was kinda surprised we were half way through the episode before Cuba showed up. Am I right to assume Monroe is a descendant from one of the men on the ship? That's what I got from it.

It was nice seeing Jo trying to put herself out there again. Having support from everyone (and them NOT being overbearing about it) was nice too.

Henry being able to recognize only the Holmes reference was so funny to me...

Interesting theory about the gun... I wonder if it's the material itself that turns them immortal so maybe the gun can also kill Adam... if it can kill Henry in the first place that is...

From what you said I thought you meant before henry became immortal.
