Heavy sigh! Why do they keep killing killers I like?! Lol. I knewww it wasn't going to end well for Neil in this episode, but I so wanted to be wrong! I really liked Neil, and I was hoping to get MORE info about him than that. Is it wrong that I felt so bad for him and his father? I mean c'mon. He cared for his dad deeply. And when he father started hollering I wanted to cry. Lol Ok maybe not really, but I felt really sad. Poor sweet old dementia man. Awww I hope they find him a good home. Bye Neil
I'm getting pretty fed up with this couple right now. No no, let me rephrase, I AM fed up with this couple. They are so boring and absolutely do nothing for me, but I am curious to see what game they're playing. But seriously don't stretch it out too long. I'll get impatient. I loved how Neil threatened Daisy, that was chilling to the point where I BELIEVED that threat in his very soft voice. That was great. I did feel bad for the reporter though. I was staring at the dog walker waiting for him to look up and when he does...tinted windows. That sucked so hard!
Got some pretty good Mark scenes tonight. They were all Mark really. I'm kinda proud of him for killing the male reporter (what was his name? Tom?) W/o crying about it. I mean I knowww he's the sensitive brother, but I still wanted him to develop some tough skin, after his brother's loss. I was also waiting for him to freak out when Daisy hugged him back, and to my surprise he freaked, but not as much, so I guess he's doing something to help him? Good for him. AND CAN HE GET RID OF THAT STUPID RED?? Ugh! It does nothing for him at all.
Ryan and Gwen- Look, I know everyone is suspecting her, (as you all should) but I really want to go the opposite route on this one. I can't help it. I like her, and Ryan seems to be really in love with her, I really never thought he'd move on from Claire, so for him to say he loved this woman and asked her to move in with him, was a big thing for me. I just really want him to be happy. IF it does indeed turn out that she's this murdering psychopath, I'll really be broken for him. So I'm really hoping this is the real deal.
Glad to see Max was spared at the end. Her boyfriend has impeccable timing. What's his name again? = / Looks like he'll have his eye on Mike. Now question, did he or did he not know about Max and Mike's past? I can't remember? Didn't she tell him at the wedding that her and Mike were just friends? I can't remember.
This show is bad. Every episode is the same thing. 1) When are they going to learn NOT to show up to a place looking for a guy by walking to the place like the bad guy won't recognize them? Every episode's the same. Hardy starts walking to a place, bad guy sees him, bad guys runs away. STOP DOING THAT. You know he's in the market. Wait for him BY THE DOOR. He doesn't know you're there, he'll go out the front door like anyone else. 2) A guy is holding a gun not pointing at ANYBODY. You are 3 FBI agents with one guy each. He raises his gun and you shooting him a million times? You had plenty of time to point your gun to his knees, or shoulder, or anywhere, really. As soon as he raised his arm any of them of could have shot him anywhere NOT LETHAL. If the guy's shot anywhere, he don't be able to shoot you back. Only action heroes don't flinch when shot. Real people do.
Getting old does not make a child abuser suddenly a 'sweet old man'. Murderers, rapists and abusers get old too. The elderly man was a child abuser and the son did not 'care deeply' for him, he was abused. The old man's abuse was so severe and mentally damaging it turned his son into a serial killer! My guess would be he was often locked in small dark spaces for long periods of time, given his preferred method of killing.
Also, you are 'proud' of Mark for murdering an innocent man without crying? TV villains can be entertaining but when you start empathizing with psychotic serial killers and child abusers, perhaps it is time to turn off the TV for a while.
I think the boyfriend's timing was TOO impeccable to be coincidental, arriving at Max's apartment to distract her before she went inside. It appears he is working with the woman the killer couple met with in this episode. The boyfriend provided the woman with Max's security codes and such.
I am still unsure about Ryan's girlfriend. I don't get a 'really in love with her' vibe from Ryan. I get more of a 'she'll be a safe person to date' and 'I guess she should move in for her safety so I don't cause the death of yet another person' vibe. Bonus points she's a nurse so she'll be good at patching up knife wounds. :)
I agree the show is bad. Really, really bad. I agree about the dumb FBI moves conveniently being used over and over and over again as plot contrivances. However, the problem is these people are dangerous, unpredictable serial killers. In the time he was at the farmer's market, he managed to kill another guy. And Joe Carroll's followers were known to suddenly start stabbing everyone in the room. So, I can see how the Feds may be a bit nervous about leaving the guy unattended to shop, and possibly kill, at his leisure while they wait outside.
As for shooting to injure instead of kill, they just aren't trained that way and for a good reason when you think about it. If they shoot to injure instead of kill, they run the very high risk of him firing off rounds before he goes down... rounds that could kill you, your child, your mother, or them. If the guy has a gun he's waving around and he's refusing to surrender, he is dangerous and lives are at risk. I think the Feds are a bit too competent this season, actually. It was more fun to watch when Ryan was tripping and falling down a lot. :)
Was his father an abuser? I must of missed that? Was that explained when he was talking about Billy? I gotta watch it again. Doesn't change the fact that i still liked him. Most murderous sons/daughters kill their parents, (they always start with the parents, it becomes boring) so this was refreshing when you look at it from a different angle. If you're willing to do that.
And yes i am very proud of Mark. And i don't need to turn off anything. I have a right to be proud of Mark, as he is one of my favorites, and you taking my words too seriously suggesting i "turn off the tv" is downright ridiculous and hysterical. This is a show about serial killers! If you can't handle what goes on with the show, and need to justify every little thing, not keeping an open mind, then maybe you shouldn't be watching the show yourself. These are ficitional characters, just like every other fictional character on a tv show, i have a right to enjoy them as i see fit. Not "wallow in disgust" b/c they kill people. (sense the sarcasm)
I had a feeling that Max's bf was behind this. Actually i was hoping for it. Not b/c i dislike Max or anything, but b/c i wanted it changed up. Uh, the show i mean. I wanted some of the heat to get off Ryan, and move it over to Max. Maybe Gwen really is a good one, but it's Max's bf that is the bad one. That' sorta thing. I've been saying that since the premiere, so i'll be happy if it's true. It would make for a nice twist.
I definitely feel Ryan's love for her and i can believe their history. I think you might have trouble accepting it b/c for once Ryan is in a healthy relationship. It's not all doom and gloom with this one, so that may be the issue for you. I strongly believe she's helped him in a lot of ways. I mean you can see it already, and she hasn't even moved in yet, and we're only in the third episode. And i'd like to see more of their relationship. I just don't want Claire popping up at all. She broke Ryan's heart into a million pieces, after they were finally able to have a clean slate. THAT i am not okay with. She wants to stay far away from Ryan? Then she should continue to do so. I wouldn't mind seeing Joey again though. LOL I miss him. I want to see what he's up to. = )
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
AMAZING EPISODE!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThe FBI is finally doing something.

This was a good episode. I liked it.
I like this season. Don't trust or like Ryan's girlfriend.
