Iris is increasingly annoying, the actress is horrible. The weatherman plot was stupid and full of conveniences - Flash could have easily incapacitated him after using the rod and why did the captain not have it with him when he chased after him. The main story made up for it though, wow.
OMG WHAT THE F**K????? What are they trying to do to me??? That was NOT COOL!!!! OMG they killed him!!! He just killed him!!! And I cried like he cried, and I didn't see that coming until Wells got up from his seat. I said OH SHIT! That was too heartbreaking. I don't want to see that ever again!!! No no no. Omg so much happened in that last ten minutes!! Everything I've wanted to see, in a really f*cked up way!!! A death, a kiss, TWO reveals, a time travel!! I mean wtf!!! This is too much, I'm excited and heartbroken all at the same time. And I can't stop crying. Anybody got any tissues?? I'm spent. = (
OMG tonights Episode of The Flash was outstanding and My heart was pumping hard. The Kiss between Iris and Barry, Barry told Iris he is The Flash well he didnt have a choice cause of the Tsunami and I thought Cisco was dead when Dr Wells did that to Cisco.
RIGHT THERE WITH YOU. I stared at the keyboard for like 5 minutes trying to write a comment but I couldn't think of one coherent sentence. I was "WHA....BUT... HOW.....WHAT?!!!!"
I'm depressed. Wells is a bad guy. *sad face* Not that I didn't see it coming but I hoped there'd be a good reason for his flights of evil fancy in previous episodes. That was an excellent episode either way, was quite stunned when he killed Cisco (and that scene was gripping, Cisco knew he was a goner).
I had some hopes Wells wanted Barry to live to stop some future event from happening and not just to get back to his own time, but I loved how it all played out!
Great episode, although a lot of it will be wiped out by time travel. Anyhoo, does anyone still want to try and tell me Iris wasn't intentionally pulling some ish with Barry and Linda? No? Mmkay then.
Different shows. Im kinda sad everytime on Arrow they talk superpowers, its not needed. Season 1 Arrow had no reliance on 'superpowers' whatsoever and it didnt hurt it at all.
Once Wells caught Cisco in there I was really scared, more so than when he got up from his seat with Caitlin. But it was when he started talking that I went into panic mode, and my eyes started filling up With water. Then Cisco started up, which made me cry more, becoming even more scared, b/c we BOTH knew it was coming and couldn't do anything to stop it. It was in that moment that he vibrated his hand that I had to take a deep breath and brace myself! That followed by "Sorry but you were dead to me centuries ago." THAT WAS BRUTAL! Got me right in the heart!!! And iI had chills ALL throughout my body! STILL DO!
As for my OTP, you have no idea how glad i am about that. But seriously i couldn't really enjoy it with the scene that came before it. I was too busy crying to be physically happy. But I was on the inside. Make sense? In a way, i'm glad he went back in time. I mean about the kiss specifically, b/c I personally did not want their first kiss to be b/c "they were about to die." So they had to throw everything out on the table. I want their first kiss to be muchhh different. And handled better. And iI definitely didn't want him revealing his secret to her. So iI hope he changes all of that this second time around.
You calling me out? Cause I thought we squashed this shit? You want to go for round two? I still stand by what I said. And I KNEW you were going to say something about it. And I still say she didn't intentionally wipe food from his mouth to make Linda jealous. I also think that once she was called out on her behavior, is when she realized it for herself, and became jealous. But I don't see Barry saying, "hey this is wrong" either. I mean he was asking advice from Joe. Not for the girl, he's dating, buT for Iris. Hmmm another inevitability.
It was wasn't you alone. It was many people. I'm not singling you out. The only thing I'll add here, since you brought it up, is that the subject discussed earlier was 100% about Iris' feelings and actions and nothing to do with Barry's side of things. He's a moot point in that topic.
While I loved the episode knowing that much of it would be erased due to time travel or moving to a new timeline made me want to vote it down to "Great" I guess... In the end I stayed with "Awesome" judging the episode on its own merits.
Nah. This was a minor and largely unimportant character issue that it's safe to say we've probably spent more than enough time on. Just killin' time on a Tuesday chat. After this episode there's a lot more fun topics to be discussed, no?
Of course!! I agree completely with your whole comment. But I still want to watch the episode again. As I am now doing. It was amazing. And I loved all of it.
Agreed with all of your points :) That Cisco/Wells scene had me on the edge of my seat and I saw that Wells put his hand through Cisco my mouth literally dropped and I was screaming NOOO! I was also cheering so hard when Barry revealed himself to Iris and then went to stop the tsunami from coming into the city! Such a great scene.
I thoroughly enjoyed the episode but you must understand that I'm a very jaded and skeptical TV viewer. I spent a lot of time saying stuff like "that won't last," "oh, g*ddamn it," and "I hope time travel doesn't wipe this out."
- I wasn't worried about Joe just because I've seen promo photos of upcoming episodes. I said "damn right" when he got his captain's guy into see him at the hospital though. - I did a facepalm for Caitlin a couple of times. She seemed a bit dim tonight and has no poker face. - I will say that I did feel really bad for Cisco when Wells told him he's already dead to him. You just knew what was coming. Sometimes that makes it worse. - I was very pleased with the Weather Wizard effects but surprisingly underwhelmed by the character. I was expecting more. - I try to feel bad for Eddie (I would feel bad for most characters in his position) but I just can't seem to do it. Maybe I still have some residual bad feelings from Rick Cosnett's time on TVD. - Also, in spite of overwhelming evidence to the contrary, I still don't think Wells is pure evil. I just think he's a callous asshole who is willing to do a lot of horrible things for what he believes is a good outcome - whatever that may be.
Who voted poor??? This episode was fantastic! OMG The Flash is pure awesome and surpasses my expectations every week! This might become my favorite series maybe ever if it keeps me this excited for Weeks/months/years to come! Only 8 episodes left this season but just Wow how fast (wink) this show grows and gets better constantly!
So we know now that Harrison Wells is actually Eobard Thawne. I have a crazy theory running in my mind right now : I think that Eddie might be Barry's lost twin brother and that Wells will try to influence him in a bad way so he could turn into Cobalt Blue later...lol
I have never heard this (not surprised though some shippers are batshit crazy- one Destiel fan called me a homophobe). But it really sucks liking any other couple on this show. They're basically doomed by canon.
well, i IS sort of like Barry himself and the mantles of The Flash. Wells isn't just a Reverse Flash, he's Professor Zoom, there's a lot Reverse Flashes but Zoom is the most known AND most powerful
What?!!!! What did I just see? Is that even real?Captain Singh is paralized. Harrison Wells is Eobard Thawne. Cisco is DEAD. Barry and Iris kiss and Iris knows Barry's secret and at last time travel??? WTF show? You can't shock me like that first thing in the morning. I didn't even have break fast.
What a super episode. I am sure with time travel Cisco will be alive and Barry and Iris will go back to their normal selves.
When Caitlin turned around and Wells was gone I was super scared for Cisco. Then that scene at STAR labs. It scared me so much. I didn't even think I saw promotional material of Cisco being alive for later episodes. Till the episode ended I actually thought he was dead. And he cried. Poor baby. He was so heart broken.
When the sneak peek came out of the double date I was annoyed by it and it felt like Barry and Iris were super involved in each other and ignoring their dates. But on the show that was not the case at all. By seeing the scenes before and after it, they were not acting odd at all there. The oddness started after Eddie called Iris out. Her scenes with Linda and later with Barry at Joe's apartment was ugh. But that confession and Barry's reveal was done really well. Now time travel screwed it all up.
Weather wizard was super cool and dangerous. Poor Captain Singh. We saw the boyfriend. So pied piper becomes his boyfriend later on. I gasped when Joe flew out of that window. Simon Stagg murder is at last addressed. Still can't stand Iris's boss. Jerk,
Awesome awesome episode. Flash has made a standard in comic book shows. Marc G please note this is what is called shocking and game changing episode. The Scarlet Speedster was on top form today.
Been there done that. And I love Iris. I just criticized one scene involving her and was bombarded with group of people tag teaming to berate me. I get that lot of people have been hating on Iris before the show started because she was black but out of this site it has become so hard to even tell one negative comment about her. People who are protective of characters and actors should realize when to pick a fight.
I was so devastated by Cisco's death it didn't even cross my mind he is going to be there next episode until the credits rolled. Everything was so good this episode.
Well till today I would have said Wells is not pure evil but he went back in time specifically to kill Barry. That makes him kind of evil. Unless he is doing it to prevent a catastrophic event in the future.
Caitlin has no poker face at all. And Danielle Panabaker needs acting classes stat.
Right?! This episode had all the making of a finale. So much went down in this episode and my head is still spinning. Even though Barry went back in time and none of this happened, Cisco's death scene still hurt like hell. I would not want to see Cisco die in any way shape or form again please and thank you.
"And he cried. Poor baby. He was so heartbroken." He wasn't heartbroken, he was scared shitless!! He knew Wells was going to kill him. Once Wells was behind him, sure he was in super shock, but after that, he was just scared for his life.
That travel screwed everything up, i don't even know what theory to come up with first. Unbelievable!! My mind is still blown. And Mason isn't Iris' boss, he's her coworker, that has to make sure she doesn't screw up. lol. But the actor, he always plays jerks, so i don't mind him, i like him. He's actually doing a lot of good right now. I look forward to more scenes of him and Iris. This is such an exciting time!
Maybe I'm being too open minded with Wells but I don't think I'll be convinced that he's an evil guy until I know exactly what his endgame is and why he's doing what he's doing. As for Panabaker, she has her limits but she does fine for her particular role.
I was not saying Arrow does not have shocking episode. I meant the EPs promote each episode as shocking and game changing when it is not. This season season premiere and The Climb was shocking. Nothing else. I was criticizing MG habit of explaining scenes or normal episodes as really game changing, epic and shocking.
Yes on second watch I get that he was scared mostly. But there was also sadness about how his suspicions turned out to be true. Such a great scene.
Most of the journalists are jerks. So I don't mind Mason. He isn't Iris's boss. I though she was the rookie and he was her superior? Guess I was wrong. I am so glad they are concentrating on Iris's job a lot now. I am still a little bit miffed they did not do a scene between Iris and the Flash where they discuss about the fall out they had in the cross over episode. Looks like that is not going to happen now. I wish instead of Iris taking the photo scene in the alley (she is not that fast) they had that convo. Well it didn't take anything away from the story so its fine I guess.
I agree with most of this. Usually i have thoughts in my head and like to say something out loud before something is actually revealed. But this time i just went with the flow, and i had no negative comments before hand.
- As you know i stay in the dark. So even though it's revealed that he'll be in future episodes, for me, that all goes out the window when i see him get hurt. I love Joe so much, it wasn't until he was pulled out the window that i became scared for him.
- Caitlin. OMG! ITA! During those scenes with Wells, i said C'mon Caitlin you can't sell a distraction?? What was with all those long silent pauses?? She couldn't think of one freaking thing to say, even her gratitude for Ronnie was very weak. She really pissed me off.
-Cisco. sigh. I'll be honest. I knew it was coming, but that didn't lessen the blow for me. Again i watched w/o a single thought in that moment, (i wasn't think time travel or future episodes) so i really really thought he was dead.
-WW effects were great!! But i do agree that the character was a let down, i was expecting a lot more.
- I don't feel bad for Eddie. I'm unable to feel bad for Eddie. I can tolerate him, but i don't like him. Sometimes i find him annoying and sometimes i find him just ok. And that definitely has to do with Rick b/c of TVD. LOL So i understand. It's a very up and down relationship with him, for me. I look at his face and i'm automatically turned off. Then he has these moments were i'm all. "well that was nice" (though in a very sarcastic tone).
- Ohhh i'm sticking with my theory, the one i've had since this show freaking started. And the fact that they just revealed he's Eobard Thawne. Holy crap!! Barry and everyone else is screwed!
One thing i can say, is that b/c of this reveal, i highly expect to see Wally in the second season.
I will say that the Eobard Thawne reveal sure makes it seem like Wells is pure evil. If they stick close to the source version, Thawne is a relentlessly, maniacally evil SOB whose sole purpose is to ruin everything about Barry Allen. I'm crossing my fingers that they're going to do a different take on the character but I think it's a long shot at this point.
It's now 1am in the morning, and i'm still in shock. AND i still haven't gotten around to watching iZombie. Think i'll just watch it tomorrow b/c i'm too filled with Flash right now. (and i agree with Cisco)
ohhh we are opposite on that one. Although i like his role in Team Flash. I have been waiting for her true self to be revealed for a very long time. I'm all for him being "anti-semi-good." i don't want want semi-good villian. I'm so over that, this season. I feel like that was the theme of the year with most of my shows. I mean Jesus! Can't a villain just BE a villain?? Sigh, that bothered me like no other, so i'l all for the evil with Wells, 100%
I don't think it ever got to that point with Wells for me. Until recently, I never considered thinking of him as a villain. I just thought he was a shady, anti-social douche. Not necessarily evil, just a d*ck.
I feel pretty much the same way. I don't think of him as evil incarnate... at least not yet. His upcoming actions may change that opinion though...
Then again I do not see Malcolm Merlyn as pure evil either. I don't get all the Merlyn haters who watch Arrow since to me the way the show portrays him he is almost an antihero - not a villain.
What if one of the 'Butterfly Effects' Barry creates is Cisco becomes team Arrow's computer expert, The Flash gets that new girl around all the computers in the sizzle reel, and Felicity becomes the new computer expert for The Arrow/Flash spin-off..
Awesome episode, until you realize that the next episode will just be one big reset button. Cisco will be alive, Dr Wells will be back in the chair, Barry will avoid Iris talking to him about their feelings to protect her, and Iris won't know about Barry being the Flash.
I have to say that Carlos Valdez (Cisco) KILLED IT tonight. The tears (which I'm reading were improved)( were such a great touch, as he knew he was going to die. And I love that the show went full comic book by revealing Dr. Wells as Eobard Thawne. Amazing!!!
Holy fucking shit! I could not believe how awesome this episode was. Wells gets off his chair in front of Snow! I'm like woa already! He goes to meet Cisco and kills him, after revealing his secret! I'm like woa whats happening here! Then I remember Barry seeing himself earlier! I'm like time travel? its happening soon! Then Barry kisses Iris after she confesses and he reveals himself! I'm like too soon, oh yea its happening. And to protect the city he creates a barrier moving so fast and he does it! Shit Next weeks is gonna be awesome.
Oh man. My love for Cisco, Eddie & Wells only grew this episode. I just cant with the teenage drama surrounding Iris & Barry. They both were both made pretty dislikable for me this episode.
Earlier in the day I ran into Tom Cavanagh & chatted with him briefly & he told me this episode was in his mind "the best so far". I hear that from a LOT of celebs all the time and only maybe 20% of the time are they right. Tom certainly was right in his analysis of it. I've given some eps of The Flash 10/10 this year. Good thing this ep didn't come before them, or they would probably get 8s or 9s. This was 2 steps ahead of the rest. Cisco being "killed", Barry learning how to time travel, The Kiss & reveal, even the secondary characters like Mark Mardon and the newspaper guy really felt like they advanced the story along perfectly. Hard to find any notable fault with this.
OH MY GOD! OH MY GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD! OHHHHH MYYYYYY GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOODDDDDDDDDD!!!
THAT'S THE BEST EPISODE OF ALLL!!!! GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD DAMN IT!!! THOSE LASTE TEM MINUTES, NO, FIVE MINUTES... SO MUCH!!!! DR. WELLS REVEALING HIS TRUE IDENTITY CISCO... CISCO... OH MY GOOOOOOD CISCO O-O I LITERALLY YELLED NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! AND IT'S LIKE 5 AM HERE AND I WAS NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! CISCO NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! THEN IRIS AND BARRY, WICH I THOUGH I DIDN'T CARE ABOUT AND SUNDENLY LOOKS AEWSOME!!! THEN SHE FINDS OUT WHO HE IS!!!! THEN HE GOES BACK IN TIME AND I AM LIKE YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS THERE'S HOPE!!!! HE CAN SVE CISCO HE HVE TO SAVE CISCO FOR THE LOVE OF GOD SAVE CISCO!!!! OH MY GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOODDDDDDD BEST EPISODE EVER!!!!! EPIC!!!!! WHO THE HELL VOTED THIS AWFUL HAVE SERIOUS SERIOUS PROBLEMS!!!!
GOD, THIS JUST GOT ME... HE'S BEEN DEAD FOR CENTURIES... HE IS THE REVERSE FLASH OF BART ALLEN, NOT BARRY ALLEN!!! THEY JUST MADE MULTIPLE UNIVERSES POSSIBLE!!! THT MENS WE'LL HAVE SARAH LANCE'S BCK FRON ANOTHER DIMENSION!!! OH MY HEAD! MY HEART! I'M... I'M LIKE... LIKE.... WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATTTTTTTTTTTTTTT????
Hands down the BEST flash episode so far... for sure. Glad about the twist at the end - especially all the westallen... that made me happy BUT I'd rather Cisco be safe and alive over westallen "happening". I do hope the reveal get re-revealed soon though.
A great episode. Certainly up there with the best superhero shows ever made. I enjoyed how the actors play Cisco's death, the guy who plays Wells is a subtle creepy like killing someone is just like doing the washing (normal mundane task) kind of creepy. I enjoyed seeing Barry finally reveal himself and seeing the Iris/Barry storyline play out although I have a feeling that won't last long considering Barry traveled back in time. One thing I'm looking forward to finding out is, will Barry find out about Wells? Can he find out considering killing Cisco now happened in an alternative future time line? Maybe he'll find out he's bad some other way. Either I'm looking forward to seeing where this is going. The Flash certainly hooked me in this ep.
I have some questions. In 1x09 when they captured RF, Harrison said that it was an image or a speed mirage. If it's an image then how did he beat up himself? And how can he duplicate himself with different clothes? And why is killing young Barry helps him go back to his time? And is he trying to help Barry time travel so he would go back and kill him?
that's still in question about Zoom beating himself up. He just wants to kill Barry, Cavanagh said that his priority is getting back to the 25th century: his home and that killing Barry is a bonus
I still can't close my mouth, that was... I don't even have words to describe this episode.
One doubt though: if Barry goes back in time, that's it mean that this will affect the Arrow too? How the hell does this time traveling thing work? I'm so confused and amaze at the same time right now.
As far as i understood older Barry was the reason he couldnt return back. Thats why he orchestrated the whole bussiness surrounding young Barry so he would help him to get back. I think the original plan was to kill young Barry for something that happens in the future. But instead he got stuck in the timeline.
I see a lot of parallels between Iris and Laurel in terms of fan treatment, with some people finding her annoying and other fans being superprotective. At this site, I don't recall any of her fans making racism accusations, so please stop making sweeping generalizations about her fans just because they happen to support a black character. It's also not unusual for a character to have superfans on the CW (especially a comic book character), so why does their protectiveness immediately have to do with race? Aydrian, if you don't like people bringing up race in discussions, then you should stop pre-emptively bringing it up yourself. You can't accuse people of making everything about race, when you're doing exactly the same thing.
As a sidenote: I recall that there were a lot of objections to Iris' character being black in the beginning, so if some fans (and the key word is "some") are openly questioning whether some of the dislike is related to her being black, then the question is not unfounded. And how is that necessarily an accusation of racism, when the people objecting to Iris being black firmly attested that the objections had nothing to do with racism, and more to do with the character deviating too much in appearance from the comic book character? The logic goes both ways.
If I recall correctly, there was this huge pile-on after Iris made that comment at the news conference, with a lot of people complaining about Iris being irritating. The objections seemed over-the-top to me, and reminded me a lot of how people have hated on characters like Laurel or Stefan, or Elena or Tyler or Finn (from the 100) for the most minor things. So I don't blame fans for supporting her. It doesn't always have to be about race.
This was the most AMAZING episode to date almost PERFECTION was on the edge of my seat the entire time so Happy to get a glimpse into Iris's feelings, Wells was just electric and my poor cisco glad he ll be ok also the SP-FX was out of this world honestly the best episode to date IMO
This episode was incredible. However, the ending made me both happy and sad at the same time. Happy, because it meant that Cisco would probably still be around (seriously, they cannot get rid of Cisco!) and sad, because it meant that all of the impressive reveals throughout the entire episode, might actually be undone.
But when they come in hordes and hound you for a comment about one single scene and disregard every good thing you said about the said character on the same post as well as previous ones I have to blame the stans. I have been an Iris supporter from the beginning. As a fan I should have the freedom to criticize the said characters scenes. Their point was I was not complaining about other characters' scene they found lacking and only Iris so I am in the wrong. Why should I complain about something I liked just so I can criticize Iris?
People might have dissed the character and actor before but every post should be taken individually. Also you can put forward your opinions respectfully and not in a confrontational manner. Just don't dump your frustrations for others on me. I will always side eye Iris fans because of this.
A freakin' heartstopper. That Cisco scene...oh man. I hope Iris still finds out about Barry, that was great. She's an "out of the loop" character. Those always drag the story down for me. Probably won't happen though. Can we get Gannicus or Oneamus if they're dipping into the Spartacus actor pool? They're my faves.
Except the show isn't totally bound by canon... there's a lot of deviation from canon and mixing it around a bit too but it's usually minor so they don't cut off potential storyline material in the future.... eg. introducing Wally West's girlfriend as love interest for Barry, even the early years relationship between Iris, her father and Barry.
If they come up with a great idea, in theory there's nothing stopping them from doing something widely different to the comics. But yes.. some shippers are indeed batshit crazy!
The original plan was to go back in time and kill young Barry, then presumably return to his own time. But older Barry showed up there and somehow stopped him from returning to his own time... he was interested in the temporal device to boost his speed (probably how he is currently faster than Barry but not fast enough), perhaps he had such a device that helped him achieve time travel speed but Barry destroyed it when trying to save his mother, so he needs current Barry to learn how to time travel so he can somehow use Barry's speed to boost his own and get back to his time.
Going back in time doesn't erase everything that's happened unless he changes something pivotal.... I'm predicting he may even have the chance to save his mother but realize that changing it may create a paradox.
When he traveled back in time this time, he and his past self saw each other - I don't think one actually replaced the other. They both stopped at virtually the same spot but I don't think it was exactly the same spot and Barry 1 (younger version) didn't see Barry 2 - I reckon this'll be explained next episode - and unless Barry 2 interferes with something, things will play out exactly as they did previously - just depends what he does change.
Exactly, to him, in Eobard's timeline, Cisco has been dead for centuries. Since, I've learned that Eobard is from the 25th Century, and if Cisco doesn't get killed in this new time line, it might create two timelines. The producers raised this question themselves. They said, in the interview given to TV Line and uploaded after the episode, that if The Flash went back and changed the past, is it possible to have parallel timeline/world where Cisco is indeed dead and Flash is missing?? I think that's how they will Get Sarah Lance in the new show, without resurrecting her!!! She might be saved in another timeline. But not in the one we are watching in Arrow.
That was incredible! The only blemish were all the Iris-related scenes. Seriously has there been a more cliched/petty character? She realizes she has feelings for Barry only after he confesses his love, then shut down leading to him trying to forget about her & starts dating a wonderful girl in Linda? There is a reason I don't watch the typical CW show because of all this ridiculous relationship angst but you insert that garbage into The Flash?
Well they aren't the only people watching the show (it's a DC comic property meaning tens of millions of people around the world follow the Flash character...not just the typical CW viewers who have jumped aboard the WestAllen ship from whatever vampire show they were sucked into). Plus who wants Barry to be with Iris (a girl who has been sabotaging pretty much every girl Barry has tried to date since high school! narcissistic much?) & who now sabotaged another healthy relationship he was having with the awesome Linda?
Yeah hun, there's a lot possible now, b/c Eobard is in the mix. And Eobard is Barry's number one nemesis. But Sara isn't coming back. She'll pop in in flashbacks of Arrow only, but i doubt she'd have anything to do with Flash. I think you're jumping the gun. Sorry.
was a great episode...i didnt care for Cisco at first b/c i thought he was way too cheesy but he grew on me and it hit a nerve when he was killed off...I wish Iris wasnt even in the show as Im just tired of her character as well as her useless boyfriend..it made me laugh when he was trying to have authority in the police station b/c he just doesnt look the part at all to me...great series regardless though and i like the fact they brought my guy Spartacus in (memories memories)...can someone give me a brief explanation of who Dr. Wells is, as Im basically just learning characters as i go bc i havnt read the comics..thanks
You know what... The mostra I think about it the more brilliant I realize they were. I was thinking.... They found the perfect way to give US answers soon, without having to play them out in the actual show. And they disn't desconstructed anything, because we didn't see the impacto of those crazy moments in the show itself. The only answer that Barry knows is the riddiculous smaller one. That Iris feels the same. But, WE didn't see Eddie, or Joe react to this. WE didn't ser if knowing who Barry is changes anything in Iris feelings. WE don't know how Barry would react to knowing who Wells really is. WE didn't see any other character react to Cisco's death and what would mean for the show. WE know the facts, but WE know nothing of their repercursions. Is fucking brilliant!!! And we'll forgive them, cause not knowing the repercussions is the price WE pay to getting Cisco back. Our vision of the show changed, without the show having to change. Now that's good writing!!!
You made a lot of good points, one WestAllen shippers blatantly ignore to keep hating on Snowbarry shippers. It has indeed been kept off Spoilertv, but it's a huge problem on Twitter and Tumblr.
Is it just the raw speed that he needs though? I wonder if Wells' device is not capable of time jumping because his device is not powerful enough. He can run faster than Barry and do many things Barry cannot do because he has more experience, but maybe Wells cannot do them as long as Barry who is in his natural time?
Also I wonder... Barry's speed can cause the initial time vortices, but is the time/space continuum weak in that spot after? Is Wells waiting for Barry to time jump so he can go through a weak spot?
But Barry is dating Linda and when he talks to Joe about relationship drama, it's all about Iris. Who do you think is really at fault for how Barry and Linda's relationship is going?
True, but given that comic wise they're married, and she's the (spoiler) mother of Don Allen and grandma of Bart Allen/Impulse/KidFlash/Tge Flash and the writers intend to include Bart at some point I'm gonna say they're the anchored couple.
Oh, it is on, Creepy Wells. IT. IS. ON. I hope Barry goes full the Hood and kills your ass. I'll miss Cavanaugh, but I don't care. No one hurts Cisco. I want Wells/Thawne/whoever utterly destroyed. There will be no killing of the Cisco. Not now. Not ever.
Also, you know, romantic things happened, and reveals and stuff, they were nice, but come on. Am I supposed to care about anything that happened this episode besides Cisco dying? Because if I'm supposed to be hyped about romantic events, then possibly putting the most distracting image possible first was a bad call. BECAUSE HE KILLED CISCO. Also, poor David and Joe in pain.
Barry, fix it. Fix it now. Please. :(
Fantastic episode, can't believe we have so much more of the season to go, this show is so good.
This is a cool theory. I was also speculating something almost similar. My theory was Wells and his wife were scientists in 25th century and he becomes RF by their joint experiment. May be another event like particle accelerator explosion. He looses his wife in 25th century due to future Barry or Barry's grand son. I never thought our Barry might go there and cause destruction. That is possible too. Wells came back to kill small Barry but our Barry interrupts him which causes Wells to kill Nora but he looses his speed to the Flash. Now he has no way to go back and Barry is just a kid. So he patiently waits and creates an event which will make Barry a speedster and is waiting for Barry to gain the required power for him to tap into it or steal it and travel back to his time and maybe even save his wife. His use of tachion particle proves there is something wrong with his speed force.
Of course, in one comic iteration she was actually born in the future and sent back in time to the 'present' and her death is faked later and she returns to the future, only to come back again later.... LOL!
I don't really think Wells is entirely evil (which makes him such a good villain).. Because people like Cisco no longer exist in his time, he feels justified in using them as pawns. I really have to watch the episode again, though...because the time-travel stuff hurts my head (the logic is just too circular for my liking and somehow, the butterfly effect is often ignored) I agree about Danielle's acting (I thought I was the only person who noticed that). Fortunately, Caitlin lin is a likeable character, so as long as the writers never (ever, ever!) make her play a drunk person again, I can generally put up with the weak acting.
I too agree Wells is not completely evil. My theory is Barry goes to the future and accidentally kills Wells' wife. So he creates an event like particle accelerator explosion and becomes RF then goes back to kill Barry so that his wife will live. But by fighting adult Barry in that confrontation he lost some of his powers and is stuck in this world. He might not be evil but he feels no remorse in trying to kill a 10 year old child or Cisco to attain his goals.
He was, with the aid of the tachyon (I mean tachyon in my previous post) device, able to run faster than Barry but not fast enough to time travel, yet he knows that in the future Barry will be able to time travel by sheer speed as he did trying to stop the tsunami.
Ya Wells being Eobard Thawne is false bc Grant went on record and said the twist plot with Harrison Wells is something no one will see coming not even the journalist and the twist isn't from the comics either but will maintain the character of RF mythology.
I know right?. My logical brain flew out the window at the middle of this episode. I was so into that confrontation between Wells and Cisco I even forgot about time travel. This never happens to me the spoiler junkie. I guess the pace of the show did not gave me time to think much. I surprised myself. LOL
I guess she was talking about the new spin-off that will feature Caity Lotz. Now there it is possible to put Sarah in the show (her from another timeline), because it isn't clear who Caity will play in the spin-off
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
What an incredible episode of television!
ReplyDeleteMy jaw hit the floor and I can't find it............
ReplyDeleteIris is increasingly annoying, the actress is horrible. The weatherman plot was stupid and full of conveniences - Flash could have easily incapacitated him after using the rod and why did the captain not have it with him when he chased after him.
ReplyDeleteThe main story made up for it though, wow.
I thought nothing could top the crossover episode or pilot. I was proven wrong again. what a hell of great episode.
ReplyDeleteDid the CW just accidentally air the season finale? BECAUSE JESUS CHRIST THAT WAS AMAZING.
ReplyDeleteOMG WHAT THE F**K????? I'm spent. = (
ReplyDeleteGreat episode.
omg, what a amazing episode! It felt like a Season Finale! Claps and Claps!!! And yes, WestAllen!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm crying of sadness, shock and happiness all at the same time.
ReplyDeleteOMG tonights Episode of The Flash was outstanding and My heart was pumping hard. The Kiss between Iris and Barry, Barry told Iris he is The Flash well he didnt have a choice cause of the Tsunami and I thought Cisco was dead when Dr Wells did that to Cisco.
ReplyDeleteMy heart is beating so fast. And I can literally feel the dagger in it. I don't even, I can't even, what?!?! THAT WAS INSANE!
ReplyDeleteWhat just happened!?!?! #TheFlash #OMG #Whoa
ReplyDeleteRIGHT THERE WITH YOU. I stared at the keyboard for like 5 minutes trying to write a comment but I couldn't think of one coherent sentence. I was "WHA....BUT... HOW.....WHAT?!!!!"
ReplyDeleteWatch out, the WestAllen fandom considers anyone who doesn't like Iris to be a huge racist.
ReplyDeleteHear hear!
ReplyDeleteYou know most of it will be undone since he went back in time days earlier
ReplyDeleteI know. The second Barry saw the second Flash and they focused on the dogs and and the girl I knew it was coming BUT STILL.............
ReplyDeleteOMG !!!! Seriously I have no words to describe that episode..... And now we have to wait one week !! :(
ReplyDeleteI'm depressed.
ReplyDeleteTime travel or Lazarus Pit, how will they save Cisco?
ReplyDeleteThe entire Flash fandom right now (especially me)

Another awesome episode!
ReplyDeleteI had some hopes Wells wanted Barry to live to stop some future event from happening and not just to get back to his own time, but I loved how it all played out!
Great episode, although a lot of it will be wiped out by time travel. Anyhoo, does anyone still want to try and tell me Iris wasn't intentionally pulling some ish with Barry and Linda? No? Mmkay then.
ReplyDeletewonder how much pressure the arrow has to be as strong as the flash?
ReplyDeletetime travel if the last minutes is any indication...
ReplyDeleteThe gauntlet has been thrown!
ReplyDeleteDifferent shows. Im kinda sad everytime on Arrow they talk superpowers, its not needed. Season 1 Arrow had no reliance on 'superpowers' whatsoever and it didnt hurt it at all.
ReplyDeleteI much prefer the Arrow to the Flash tv show.
STILL DO!
ReplyDeleteAs for my OTP, you have no idea how glad i am about that.
ReplyDeleteIt was wasn't you alone. It was many people. I'm not singling you out. The only thing I'll add here, since you brought it up, is that the subject discussed earlier was 100% about Iris' feelings and actions and nothing to do with Barry's side of things. He's a moot point in that topic.
ReplyDeleteWhile I loved the episode knowing that much of it would be erased due to time travel or moving to a new timeline made me want to vote it down to "Great" I guess... In the end I stayed with "Awesome" judging the episode on its own merits.
ReplyDeleteOk. I'll let you have that "moot point". (touché) You go ahead and talk to those other people,I put in my two cents at a minimum. I'm going to watch the episode again. Later.
ReplyDeleteNah. This was a minor and largely unimportant character issue that it's safe to say we've probably spent more than enough time on. Just killin' time on a Tuesday chat. After this episode there's a lot more fun topics to be discussed, no?
ReplyDeleteWow awesome
ReplyDeleteOf course!! I agree completely with your whole comment. But I still want to watch the episode again. As I am now doing. It was amazing. And I loved all of it.
ReplyDeleteIt was most certainly a damn good episode.
ReplyDeleteDamn right! Did you cry? (Men can cry too, Haha) did you tear up? Did you say, "Ohhh nooo."?? Tell me how you felt through this episode?
ReplyDeleteAgreed with all of your points :) That Cisco/Wells scene had me on the edge of my seat and I saw that Wells put his hand through Cisco my mouth literally dropped and I was screaming NOOO! I was also cheering so hard when Barry revealed himself to Iris and then went to stop the tsunami from coming into the city! Such a great scene.
ReplyDeleteI thoroughly enjoyed the episode but you must understand that I'm a very jaded and skeptical TV viewer. I spent a lot of time saying stuff like "that won't last," "oh, g*ddamn it," and "I hope time travel doesn't wipe this out."
ReplyDelete- I wasn't worried about Joe just because I've seen promo photos of upcoming episodes.
ReplyDeleteME TOO! My mouth literally dropped. And I said Cisco!!! But I had deep sobs, it wasn't cool. But the scene was amazing.
ReplyDeleteWatching this episode over, my mind is racing with questions and theories.
So we know now that Harrison Wells is actually Eobard Thawne. I have a crazy theory running in my mind right now : I think that Eddie might be Barry's lost twin brother and that Wells will try to influence him in a bad way so he could turn into Cobalt Blue later...lol
ReplyDeleteDidn't seem intentional till that scene in the house.
ReplyDeleteTime Travel. The pit is only known to the league.
ReplyDeleteOh he's not just a bad guy. He's THE bad guy. Barry's nemesis. It's gonna be awesome.
ReplyDeleteI have never heard this (not surprised though some shippers are batshit crazy- one Destiel fan called me a homophobe). But it really sucks liking any other couple on this show. They're basically doomed by canon.
ReplyDeleteShit. Barry's so f*cked. Thawne will kill everybody. Well try to.
ReplyDeleteSo ... since we saw Laurel tell Cisco she is The Black Canary in The Flash sizzle reel I guess the only question left to ask is how he is 'alive' ?
ReplyDeleteFantastic! Awesome! Amazing! Jaw dropping! Just WOW!!
ReplyDeleteSo he's Eobard Thawne now.
ReplyDeleteWonder if Hunter Zolomon appears in the series or not.
so will Eddie Thawne be also a speedster at some point? he also a reverse flash/prof zoom? sorry I not similar with comics
ReplyDeletewell, i IS sort of like Barry himself and the mantles of The Flash. Wells isn't just a Reverse Flash, he's Professor Zoom, there's a lot Reverse Flashes but Zoom is the most known AND most powerful
ReplyDeleteWhat?!!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a super episode.
The Scarlet Speedster was on top form today.
like the creator said he thinks of himself as the hero, but what he said to Cisco was very, like they were CRAZY close in the 25th century
ReplyDeleteBeen there done that.
ReplyDeleteI was so devastated by Cisco's death it didn't even cross my mind he is going to be there next episode until the credits rolled. Everything was so good this episode.
ReplyDeleteArrow did have shocking episode in the climb......well the arrow can still have a shocking episode it not like they have not done it before
ReplyDeleteWell till today I would have said Wells is not pure evil but he went back in time specifically to kill Barry. That makes him kind of evil. Unless he is doing it to prevent a catastrophic event in the future.
ReplyDeleteCaitlin has no poker face at all.
ReplyDelete"And he cried. Poor baby. He was so heartbroken." He wasn't heartbroken, he was scared shitless!! He knew Wells was going to kill him. Once Wells was behind him, sure he was in super shock, but after that, he was just scared for his life.
ReplyDeleteThat travel screwed everything up, i don't even know what theory to come up with first.
ReplyDeleteI was not saying Arrow does not have shocking episode. I meant the EPs promote each episode as shocking and game changing when it is not. This season season premiere and The Climb was shocking. Nothing else. I was criticizing MG habit of explaining scenes or normal episodes as really game changing, epic and shocking.
ReplyDeleteYes on second watch I get that he was scared mostly. But there was also sadness about how his suspicions turned out to be true. Such a great scene.
ReplyDeleteMost of the journalists are jerks.
ReplyDelete- As you know i stay in the dark.
I am still in shock. I don't even have the strength to watch iZombie now. No killing Cisco ever in this show. I refuse to accept that.
ReplyDeleteI will say that the Eobard Thawne reveal sure makes it seem like Wells is pure evil. If they stick close to the source version, Thawne is a relentlessly, maniacally evil SOB whose sole purpose is to ruin everything about Barry Allen. I'm crossing my fingers that they're going to do a different take on the character but I think it's a long shot at this point.
ReplyDeleteIt's now 1am in the morning, and i'm still in shock. AND i still haven't gotten around to watching iZombie. Think i'll just watch it tomorrow b/c i'm too filled with Flash right now. (and i agree with Cisco)
ReplyDeleteI strongly believe they are staying close to it. As soon as he dropped his name, everything made sooo much sense.
ReplyDeleteYeah, this will likely not go the way I want it to (I like Wells as a mysterious semi-good guy) but it should be very entertaining nonetheless.
ReplyDeletei think THAT version of Zoom will be the OTHER Thawne
ReplyDeletei still can't believe that Cisco crying wasn't scripted
ReplyDeleteHARRISON WELLS IS NOT JUST A REVERSE FLASH!!!!! HE'S FREAKING PROFESSOR ZOOM!!!!!!!!!!!!! SON OF A BITCH, WHY?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteLol. If they start doubling up on characters by season two like I think they're going to, things will get very confusing in a hurry.
ReplyDeleteMy respect for Carlos Valdes increased so much after this episode.
ReplyDeleteI can. Still it was awesome.
ReplyDeleteohhh we are opposite on that one.
ReplyDeleteI don't think it ever got to that point with Wells for me. Until recently, I never considered thinking of him as a villain. I just thought he was a shady, anti-social douche. Not necessarily evil, just a d*ck.
ReplyDeleteWow. = / I don't even know what to say to that. lol
ReplyDeleteLike I mentioned somewhere earlier, I may be a little too open minded when it comes to Wells. :)
ReplyDeleteI feel pretty much the same way.
ReplyDeleteI don't think of him as evil incarnate... at least not yet.
His upcoming actions may change that opinion though...
Then again I do not see Malcolm Merlyn as pure evil either. I don't get all the Merlyn haters who watch Arrow since to me the way the show portrays him he is almost an antihero - not a villain.
My description of Malcolm - the world's most self-centered tool.
ReplyDeleteHE's right there with Walter White!
ReplyDeleteHmm... I wonder if it is a double initial thing?
What if one of the 'Butterfly Effects' Barry creates is Cisco becomes team Arrow's computer expert, The Flash gets that new girl around all the computers in the sizzle reel, and Felicity becomes the new computer expert for The Arrow/Flash spin-off..
ReplyDeleteFor Wally West's sake, I hope not.
ReplyDeleteHahaha. Ok.
ReplyDeleteAwesome episode, until you realize that the next episode will just be one big reset button. Cisco will be alive, Dr Wells will be back in the chair, Barry will avoid Iris talking to him about their feelings to protect her, and Iris won't know about Barry being the Flash.
ReplyDeletesince there are two weather wizard kind of.......then maybe they can bring the real constantine Drakon
ReplyDeleteI have to say that Carlos Valdez (Cisco) KILLED IT tonight. The tears (which I'm reading were improved)( were such a great touch, as he knew he was going to die. And I love that the show went full comic book by revealing Dr. Wells as Eobard Thawne. Amazing!!!
ReplyDeleteHoly fucking shit! I could not believe how awesome this episode was.
ReplyDeleteWells gets off his chair in front of Snow!
ReplyDeleteI just cant with the teenage drama surrounding Iris & Barry. They both were both made pretty dislikable for me this episode.
Earlier in the day I ran into Tom Cavanagh & chatted with him briefly & he told me this episode was in his mind "the best so far".
ReplyDeleteI hear that from a LOT of celebs all the time and only maybe 20% of the time are they right.
I JUST NEED TO GET THIS OUT OF MY CHEST!!!
ReplyDeleteOH MY GOD!

WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATTTTTTTTTTTTTTT????
Now... How the hell can they make a season finally better than this???
ReplyDeleteplease, is it even possible????
Hands down the BEST flash episode so far... for sure. Glad about the twist at the end - especially all the westallen... that made me happy BUT I'd rather Cisco be safe and alive over westallen "happening". I do hope the reveal get re-revealed soon though.
ReplyDeleteAwesome episode, that ending i never saw it coming!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteA great episode. Certainly up there with the best superhero shows ever made. I enjoyed how the actors play Cisco's death, the guy who plays Wells is a subtle creepy like killing someone is just like doing the washing (normal mundane task) kind of creepy.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed seeing Barry finally reveal himself and seeing the Iris/Barry storyline play out although I have a feeling that won't last long considering Barry traveled back in time.
ReplyDeletewait WHAT?! he said Cisco's been dead TO him not that he's been dead for centuries
ReplyDeleteno it' sad
ReplyDeletethat' girl's the Bug-Eyed Bandit so no she's not a hero
ReplyDeletethat's still in question about Zoom beating himself up. He just wants to kill Barry, Cavanagh said that his priority is getting back to the 25th century: his home and that killing Barry is a bonus
ReplyDeleteBut if he needs Barry's speed to go back to his time then why on Earth would he want to kill young Barry?!!! It doesn't make sense!
ReplyDeleteI still can't close my mouth, that was... I don't even have words to describe this episode.
ReplyDeleteOne doubt though: if Barry goes back in time, that's it mean that this will affect the Arrow too? How the hell does this time traveling thing work? I'm so confused and amaze at the same time right now.
Didnt he travel back in time to kill young Barry but older Barry got in his way. And then he became stuck in this timeline.
ReplyDeleteBut if he killed young Barry then adult Barry won't be here and Wells wouldn't be able to go back to kill young Barry.
ReplyDeleteAs far as i understood older Barry was the reason he couldnt return back. Thats why he orchestrated the whole bussiness surrounding young Barry so he would help him to get back. I think the original plan was to kill young Barry for something that happens in the future. But instead he got stuck in the timeline.
ReplyDeleteYou lost me. How's older Barry the reason he couldn't go back to his time?
ReplyDeleteWoW !!!
ReplyDeleteThat's Emily ( Beth - TWD ) Kinney ?
I'd NEVER have guest it was her.
Just speculating since he is trap in this timeline for 15 years and he needs Barrys speed to go back.
ReplyDeleteI don't think we'll get any more info about this until episode 20 or something :(
ReplyDeleteI see a lot of parallels between Iris and Laurel in terms of fan treatment, with some people finding her annoying and other fans being superprotective.
ReplyDeleteAs a sidenote: I recall that there were a lot of objections to Iris' character being black in the beginning, so if some fans (and the key word is "some") are openly questioning whether some of the dislike is related to her being black, then the question is not unfounded.
ReplyDeleteThis was the most AMAZING episode to date almost PERFECTION was on the edge of my seat the entire time so Happy to get a glimpse into Iris's feelings, Wells was just electric and my poor cisco glad he ll be ok also the SP-FX was out of this world honestly the best episode to date IMO
ReplyDeleteThe last part of the episode had SO MUCH HAPPENING!
ReplyDeleteThis episode was incredible. However, the ending made me both happy and sad at the same time. Happy, because it meant that Cisco would probably still be around (seriously, they cannot get rid of Cisco!) and sad, because it meant that all of the impressive reveals throughout the entire episode, might actually be undone.
ReplyDeleteBut when they come in hordes and hound you for a comment about one single scene and disregard every good thing you said about the said character on the same post as well as previous ones I have to blame the stans. I have been an Iris supporter from the beginning. As a fan I should have the freedom to criticize the said characters scenes. Their point was I was not complaining about other characters' scene they found lacking and only Iris so I am in the wrong. Why should I complain about something I liked just so I can criticize Iris?
ReplyDeletePeople might have dissed the character and actor before but every post should be taken individually. Also you can put forward your opinions respectfully and not in a confrontational manner. Just don't dump your frustrations for others on me. I will always side eye Iris fans because of this.
A freakin' heartstopper. That Cisco scene...oh man.
ReplyDeleteI hope Iris still finds out about Barry, that was great.
ReplyDeleteIf they come up with a great idea, in theory there's nothing stopping them from doing something widely different to the comics. But yes.. some shippers are indeed batshit crazy!
ReplyDeleteGoing back in time doesn't erase everything that's happened unless he changes something pivotal.... I'm predicting he may even have the chance to save his mother but realize that changing it may create a paradox.
ReplyDeleteWhen he traveled back in time this time, he and his past self saw each other - I don't think one actually replaced the other.
ReplyDeleteThat was incredible!
ReplyDeleteWell they aren't the only people watching the show (it's a DC comic property meaning tens of millions of people around the world follow the Flash character...not just the typical CW viewers who have jumped aboard the WestAllen ship from whatever vampire show they were sucked into).
ReplyDeletePlus who wants Barry to be with Iris (a girl who has been sabotaging pretty much every girl Barry has tried to date since high school! narcissistic much?) & who now sabotaged another healthy relationship he was having with the awesome Linda?
Yeah hun, there's a lot possible now, b/c Eobard is in the mix. And Eobard is Barry's number one nemesis. But Sara isn't coming back. She'll pop in in flashbacks of Arrow only, but i doubt she'd have anything to do with Flash. I think you're jumping the gun. Sorry.
ReplyDeletewas a great episode...i didnt care for Cisco at first b/c i thought he was way too cheesy but he grew on me and it hit a nerve when he was killed off...I wish Iris wasnt even in the show as Im just tired of her character as well as her useless boyfriend..it made me laugh when he was trying to have authority in the police station b/c he just doesnt look the part at all to me...great series regardless though and i like the fact they brought my guy Spartacus in (memories memories)...can someone give me a brief explanation of who Dr. Wells is, as Im basically just learning characters as i go bc i havnt read the comics..thanks
ReplyDeleteYou know what... The mostra I think about it the more brilliant I realize they were.
ReplyDeleteI was thinking....
ReplyDeleteIs it just the raw speed that he needs though?
ReplyDeleteI wonder if Wells' device is not capable of time jumping because his device is not powerful enough.
ReplyDeleteTrue, but given that comic wise they're married, and she's the (spoiler) mother of Don Allen and grandma of Bart Allen/Impulse/KidFlash/Tge Flash and the writers intend to include Bart at some point I'm gonna say they're the anchored couple.
ReplyDeletewho voted awful ?!!! Dafuq ?
ReplyDeleteYeah it will be in many ways. But still Professor Zoom! The nerd in me is so happy.
ReplyDeleteThat jaw's never going back on.
ReplyDeleteHe killed Cisco.
ReplyDelete...
Fix it now. Please. :(
Fantastic episode, can't believe we have so much more of the season to go, this show is so good.
bowling and dates, I thought to myself "its gonna be filler episode"...I was so wrong and I'm so happy I was!
ReplyDeleteThis is a cool theory.
ReplyDeleteOf course, in one comic iteration she was actually born in the future and sent back in time to the 'present' and her death is faked later and she returns to the future, only to come back again later.... LOL!
ReplyDeleteI don't really think Wells is entirely evil (which makes him such a good villain).. Because people like Cisco no longer exist in his time, he feels justified in using them as pawns. I really have to watch the episode again, though...because the time-travel stuff hurts my head (the logic is just too circular for my liking and somehow, the butterfly effect is often ignored)
ReplyDeleteI agree about Danielle's acting (I thought I was the only person who noticed that).
ReplyDeleteYou guys are hilarious......you basically expressed what I was feeling better than I could.
ReplyDeleteHe was, with the aid of the tachyon (I mean tachyon in my previous post) device, able to run faster than Barry but not fast enough to time travel, yet he knows that in the future Barry will be able to time travel by sheer speed as he did trying to stop the tsunami.
ReplyDeleteGuess we'll find out more soon.
Ya Wells being Eobard Thawne is false bc Grant went on record and said the twist plot with Harrison Wells is something no one will see coming not even the journalist and the twist isn't from the comics either but will maintain the character of RF mythology.
ReplyDeleteUm you know the promo we saw last week kinda ruined it lol.
ReplyDeleteYes they can bc Wells is who he really says he is lol
ReplyDeleteI know right?. My logical brain flew out the window at the middle of this episode. I was so into that confrontation between Wells and Cisco I even forgot about time travel. This never happens to me the spoiler junkie. I guess the pace of the show did not gave me time to think much. I surprised myself. LOL
ReplyDeleteI believe Cisco Died twice lol
ReplyDeletewow wow wow wow wow wow wow. I know I am late to the party but wow at this episode! This was mind blowing
ReplyDeleteI guess she was talking about the new spin-off that will feature Caity Lotz. Now there it is possible to put Sarah in the show (her from another timeline), because it isn't clear who Caity will play in the spin-off
ReplyDeleteEhh, i still say jumping the gun. It'd still interefere with Arrow in that case, and the TL isn't involving Arrow.
