I think it'd be a little inappropriate what with Lindy having feelings for Jake then finding out he's a psychopathic murderer and the Sara stuff. Plus writers love to drag that shit out.
she doesn't have feelings for bolin, i'm pretty sure they disappeared when she found out just how psychotic he is, the dude kissed his own reflection!, HOLY CRAP!!! so anyway yeah i would've at least wanted a promise that she'd be back and an "I Love You" from Tommy and a reciprocation from Lindy, not an "I Love You" i guess (i would've LOVED if she DID say it) but at least reciprocation
The twist of the sister never actually being kidnapped was interesting, and she was apparently leaving to keep Lindy safe. I'm guessing she got involved in something herself and Lindy was at risk too, or maybe she was led to believe Lindy was at risk. Really hope they renew this and keep going with the story.
Overall? Disappointed by this episode. Yes, it was intense and Jake scared the sh** out of me.
But what I don't understand is, why make her main love interest of the series the killer? I wanted something fresh, new, and with a twist. Someone that we NEVER would have guessed! Jake was too easy and predictable. There are so many tv shows and movies who have made the main love interest the bad guy and I was hoping Eye Candy would do something different but I didn't get that.
Also, Lindy is suppose to be this bad*** heroine? Not getting that either and am still annoyed that she's not being the actual heroine that doesn't need saving from anyone. All season, I have wanted her to kick some a** and save herself but didn't get that either.
While Jake is a love interest, I don't see him as a MAIN interest considering the way Tommy and Lindy are being written as end-game characters. Besides, producers seem to have already pegged Jake as the killer from the get go, so they were clever in handing out subtleties that suggest him as a not-so good guy.
I know they vanished after the reveal, but still she just found out someone she cared about is a lying psychopathic killer who killed her ex, and almost killed her best friend. Combined that with the lying Tommy did, and the Sara stuff, and I think Lindy's a bit preoccupied emotionally at the moment for dating or a declaration of love.
They went with the most obvious suspect and so many plotholes-Tommy could've easily taken out jake or shoot him in the hand at least, why was the entire island deserted, why would a smart man like jake hide that chick's phone(forgot her name) at a place so easy to find and what six year old, if he's even that old, would know how to do any of that? Even if he had watched his mom and could emulate her actions with the needle, there's no way in hell he knows he can kill her with an air bubble. Pure ludicrousness! After pulling 8 amazing episodes back to back, they destroyed everything with that weak episode 9 & 10.And was that supposed to be a cliffhanger?Lame. So disappointed.I guess i expected too much!
Yeah I don't mind either that they left it the way they did. Thought it was a really good finale but only if there is a season 2. Will be pretty pissed if it is a series finale though. I don't think she cared that much for jake, sure she slept with him and went to him for help with the sara thing but if she hadn't known about the whole tommy/ccu lying thing it would have been him she went to. I think she was just looking for someone to trust and jake feed on that. He just had to separate her from tommy.
I think she started to especially after the kiss. you could tell it affected her. And to me she definitely trusted tommy and counted on him. When she needed him he was always there. Even in the beginning when they didn't see eye to eye. With jake sure she liked him, but I don't think if he hadn't told her it was tommys idea to use her the previous year she would have went to tommy. I think the reason she was so mad about that was that it was tommy's idea. She had know previous about some of it but I think it was tommy being involved that upset her because she trusted and cared about him. She even said it in the message chat at the end "she has to do it alone because she didn't want to lose someone else she cared about". And jake knew that he had to separate her from him because he knew that tommy would always be there to help. Especially after 107 when even he was half drugged up he was still able to save her and be there. And he probably saw here reaction to the kiss, so much better and passionate than the two they had. I just think lindy isn't in a place at the moment to even think about a relationship but when she is, it will be tommy. There better be a season 2.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
REALLY?!!!!!!!! YOU CLOSE EVERYTHING BUT DON'T GIVE US TOMMY AND LINDY TOGETHER?!!!!! WHY?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteTHIS NEEDS TO BE RENEWED !!!!

ReplyDeleteNo twist with the killer. I'm disapointed

i see Tommy as her main love interest actually not bolin, and where IS that Lindy, she kicked the crap out of her friend's friend in hat dojo
ReplyDeleteI love it! And I love the twist in the end as it only means that something bigger is threatening Lindy and her sister.

ReplyDeleteand apparently it connects to their father
ReplyDeleteexactly, i honestly expected Tommy to be on the bus
ReplyDeleteLoved it, I really hope it gets renewed.

yeah that part i'm fine with, but you know no news yet so they needed to give us satisfaction on that too
