    Epic!!!! Jamal more like Luscious then he wants to admit Cookie and Boo Boo Kitty fight was awesome Andre better invest in DNA test I like Rhonda but I do think she has agenda

    I've been waiting for Cookie to whoop Boo Boo Kitties ass all season! The scene was perfect!

    Lucious's line at the end of the episode gave me chills and now I can't wait for next season!

    I loved this the only Ep I seen and its the season ending and it was great I have to watch all of the 1st season online some were too get it all but it was great and the last line at the end was great.

    This season finale was absolutely amazing, it left me breathless there were to many great scenes to mention singular, so I'll just say, what am I going to do without Empire on my Tv till it returns, and that ending with Lucious bone chilling, can't wait for it to pick up where it left off!!!

    That was such a thrilling finale! I was on the edge of my seat during the whole two hours and my mom and I definitely screamed and cheered so damn much haha.

    I have been anxiously awaiting the fight between Cookie and Boo Boo Kitty and it did not disappoint! After saying snarky stuff back and forth all season long, the payoff was awesome. One of the best catfights I have ever seen on TV. I was cheering so loud when Cookie snatched the pearls off of Anika's neck haha. That fake-ass Halle Berry definitely had it coming!



    The reveal that Lucious didn't have ALS after all and it's just something similar to the disease was so damn shocking. And that scene where he was in the bed and hallucinating about killing Bunkie and wasn't dying was like a damn acid trip! And Cookie saw the whole thing! Damn, those sleeping pills really do a number on you XD Also, how badass was that performance between Lucious and Jamal in their old house?! One of the best scenes yet from the show IMO.


    Of course Jamal was handed the Empire! Did anyone have any doubts? So proud of him. And I love that Hakeem, Cookie, Andre, and Anika are uniting together to take down Lucious and take over the Empire! There's just one problem... Lucious confessed to Vernon that he killed Bunkie and now that Vernon is dead, it looks like we won't be seeing Lucious in jail very long. "It's game time, bitches" indeed. I just love that now we are in the opposite of how we started in the beginning. Now Lucious is in jail XD Love it. And Rhonda is pregnant! These twists keep on coming and I love it.


    This show has been one of the biggest surprises of the season for me! I never expected to love this show as much as I do. Now for the hiatus :( I'm so freaking excited for it to come back and I can't wait for season 2.

    I should have just propped my jaw on a stack of books, that's how often, my jaw dropped. Excellent show. Kudos to Empire being the bigger show that it is, giving Starz, Power a plug. But, I want Empire, and Cookie power. Until next season. :)

    It was excellent. It was definitely one of the most entertaining season finales I've seen in a long while. But it was also of quality, strong acting performances throughout. This show is definitely Emmy worthy.

    That was an EPIC FINALE!!!!! The promos did not lie at all!! It was fantastic!

    Highlights:
    - The singing duo between Lucious and Jamal.
    -I loved it when Jamal inspired a fan to come out of the closet at the autograph signing in the first part of the finale.
    - Cookie vs. Anika did not disappoint AT ALL!
    - Patti Labelle singing with Jamal

    The BIGGEST OMG Shockers:
    - I SERIOUSLY thought that Lucious was going to get killed off after what Cookie did to him. It turns out that he was MIS-DIAGNOSED!
    - Although I knew Vernon was going to get killed off (I WILDLY guess this before the finale even aired if I had to guess which character was going to be killed killed off), I never expected Rhonda to kill him!!!
    - Jamal taking over Empire!!!!!!!
    - Lucious getting arrested at his own concert!!!!!!!!!!!


    I can't wait for Season 2!!!!!!!!

    Cookie and Boo Boo Kitty's figh...BRAWL was worth an awesome vote all by itself. (and note to self....not a weave. LOL)


    Was I imagining things or had Cookie moved into the mansion during the closing montage.


    The only thing I'm really upset about is that they put a wedge between Cookie and Jamal. Leave it to Peaches to bust Cookie's location. LOL


    Hakeem? Really? How tacky! Anika was almost your step mother. Yuck.


    One of the most interesting things was Jamal and Lucious' relationship. Jamal waited so long for his father's approval and love. It seemed natural that it came over a song and I loved that Jamal didn't wilt under his father's attempts to pick a fight. Great scene. Difficult to decide what my favorite scene was though.

    I actually was kind of surprised that Jamal was handed the reigns. I thought that result was going to be pushed off for at least a season (then again I didn't expect Lucious to get an ALS reversal either!) What really surprised me was the flash of maturity in Hakeem when he decided to fight it. That was glorious to watch...not him and Anika...but watching him turn and fight was really satisfying.

    Disappointed. I didn't buy a lot of it. Jamal would never threaten a mans life and hold him over a railing. And where was Berletti's security? Lucious got up there but where were they? And why would Cookie lead Andre and Hakeem in a hostile takeover when Jamal finally had control like she always wanted. And Annika with Hakeem?? Cookie in cahoots with Annika? C'mon. Will miss Malcolm.

    That season finale was almost too much too handle.

    Fist of all, I somehow knew that Lucious Lyon wasn't a real name xD

    The Lucious - Jamal relationship is the most beautiful thing this show has done. Jamal's character development has been incredibly throughout those 12 episodes.

    That finale was LIT!!!! So much happened man I loved it. That boo boo kitty/cookie fight was well worth the wait (I've been waiting for that since the beginning) and JAMAL little rap (sing off) was great.

    I feel the same way, i didn't liked the wedge between Cookie and Jamal. Neither between her and Lucious, i know he's a real douchebag, but she stood by his side and didn't snitch on him. I hope they clear everything up in the next season. Also Lucious probably felt that it was more a Andre and Keem move.

    Can't wait for the next season.
