Great episode, really enjoyed it. Only one detail I don't get is Sherlock is suppose to know self defense very well along with few martial arts and he didn't do anything.
great ep... liked getting a bit more backstory on Sherlock and his dark times. JLM really delivered some memorable scenes like he usually does, but nice to see his vulnerablility on display
Loved this episode and exploring more about Sherlock's drug induced days. Jonny Lee is an amazing actor and he really tapped into that part of Sherlock's life. I appreciate how he shows his vulnerability, exposing himself to Joan (And to himself) but never allowing himself to waddle in self pity.
Joan was equally wonderful in this the way she stood by Sherlock, knowing he couldn't of killed anyone let alone that women (already forgot her name)!
I think the reason why Sherlock didn't respond had more to do with him questioning what did transpire that night. For Sherlock not to remember something is unheard of but since he was stoned and couldn't rely on his memories he couldn't trust himself to not think he could have done it.So i saw it as him taking a small punishment for not knowing or remembering, so of course he deserved that punishment, so, there was no reason to fight back.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
