    I enjoy it great episode it was light more like Scorpion then CSI in my opinion I hope it does well in rating but I don't want it to replace Stalkers it can be a great mid season show when Stalkers on hitaus

    PA is worth watching - she has the ability to balance strong/sensitive without seeming too rough or too mushy. The story wasn't great - at all - but I thought they did a good job of introducing the team and the premise. Like NY & Miami, both of which took several episodes to get their groove (Kim Delaney, anyone? NYC shown as dark and creepy, etc.), hopefully the show will find its tone. CBS must have faith in it since they changed it from Sunday to Wed. Plus, CBS really needs more shows with female leads. And, despite the Stalker boycott group - either BC or Cyber was going to replace it. I wanted Stalker to work, but it didn't and CBS gave it plenty of airings, but the ratings just weren't there.

    Voted Great!... James Van Der Beek was surprisingly good considering I've not really liked anything else he's done and would have voted Awesome if it weren't for Patricia Arquette - she acts the same in every role, seemingly from the David Caruso school of acting with meaningful pauses and dramatic lines read like she's reading a shopping list - can't stand her!

    Stalker hasn't been renewed yet... if ratings for something in the same timeslot are too good... it could tip the scales on the decision.

    And people not watching Cyber to help (or in other words to not betray) Stalker won't have any effect. since they don't have a Nielsen box.

    Have to disagree... Patricia Arquette is everything wrong with this show. It was still great but I can think of a dozen actresses just off the top of my head who would have made this far better show than with Patricia Arquette in it. James Van Der Beek was surprisingly good though and I did like the other supporting cast members.

    Exactly. I don't know why some Stalker fans think that if Cyber fails, then CBS will renew Stalker.

    I think this is more of an emotional thing, like if someone wanna cheat on their girlfriend with whom you are in a long distance relationship, even though they know that there is no way she'll find it.

    Honestly I don't think it's going to have an impact on Stalker's fate... Stalker is quite dead...


    And honestly I don't see CSI Cyber being renewed too... Just my opinion...

    I'm just so shocked they let a BABY drown, luckily Avery revived him by CPR but still. A child, man, woman or elderly, ok, but the most smallest of humans? I tweeted how dare you cbs, but that's just how emotional I got from that. Other than that, LOVED this episode and the new CSI cast.

    Okay, think about it like this. Your girlfriend has moved away recently but you guys haven't really broken up. You know their is no chance this relationship will work, but she continues to string you along. Then a new girl comes along who you like and want to be with. What do you do?

    It's great for me as IT Guy. The writer do a research and write a storyline quit well about steps and a work in IT and Digital Forensic but the writer should add more action, Physical Forensic (Blood,Poison,Chemistry and Weapon) to let non-IT people enjoy to watch this series. It's not enough to change some command that use in IT to be a common word such as replicate or release which I laugh when see those words since there is not any command that is written and represent a function of them obviously. Normally, there is some letter missing for each word that use in writing a code.

    For a cast of this shows, I still don't judge how good or bad they act right now. I will see a couple next episodes to let me a characteristic of each character first. PA may act like that in this show because the characteristic or profile of her character.

    Sorry. Difficult analogy to sell. (Actually I don't think you can sell it as okay.) If you realize a relationship isn't going to work...just make the phone call before you start the new relationship.

    But yeah, I literally meant bad analogy because it doesn't fit with your argument that it's not a betrayal of Stalker. This hypothetical situation would be a betrayal of trust, even if the 'girlfriend' doesn't know.

    Anyway this is getting off-topic. I understand the not watching CSI thing. I never let myself get into Miami and NY because I loved the original too much. And it really bugged me that all my friends watched Miami and none of them even knew about the original!! Plus I actually do hate Miami, too bright and bad acting.

    I'm was assuming the person who first mentioned not wanting to watch as it'd be betrayal actually has a Nielsen box and that anyone else who does I hope thinks carefully about what they watch (probably not given some of the shows that rate really well). ;-P

    It was alright. The crime itself was interesting, but it just felt like they were trying too hard to make the show look sleek. Also I wish they had spent more time introducing Agent Ryan's team because I didn't really get a feel for who they are or why they're on the team.

    This was a strictly average pilot imo. Actors were all good did their parts. Babies were cute and the case was overall good. But there was nothing special about this show. Nothing that stood out. Some scenes were cliche too. They black guy cracking the long password by arranging the dates in ascending order. Seriously you need a specialist for that? At least make it into a puzzle so that we will feel he is special enough to join the team. I will give the show a chance and see if the characters evolve and become more interesting.

    I don't think we should be so quick to judge. Beauty and The Beast was also going to be "100%" cancelled, but it was renewed for a third and fourth season. I still have hope.
