  1. Good episode, but I really miss the almost constant sense of impending danger that earlier episodes were fraught with. The show is so well written though that I simply cannot wait for each minute to unfold. Cannot wait for the next episode and ultimately I cannot wait for the moment Vane and Eleanor come face to face again.

  2. Another great episode. I wonder how many story lines they are going to wrap up, considering that there are only 2 episodes left in this season.

I am a bit confused. Last week when we saw Dufrsene talking with Hornigold about someone valuable and in the end saw some shadowy figures waylay Richard Guthrie, I thought they were the ones who kidnapped Eleanor's father. But now it turns out it was Vane getting revenge on Elizabeth. So, the question is, what were Dufrsene and Hornigold plotting and who is the someone they consider valuable.

Vane embracing his villainous side. I wonder how he followed Flint? In which ship? His ship is still anchored in the bay How did he secretly commandeer another ship without anyone knowing, especially Max? Anyways, he is after the Man-of-War and Flint's ship is full of his crew. Something tells me that this is going to get really ugly. Even if Vane starts attacking Flint's crew, what's stopping the patrol boats of Charles Town from simply blowing them all to hell?

Loved that the show finally filled in that S1 back story of why Flint killed those people on that ship. Now we know it was Alfred Hamilton.

MVP of the episode: Abigail Ashe. She got to experience life on a pirate ship, see their actions and know stories about them which in turn made her form her own opinion of them. Turned out handy , when she stopped the officers of Charles Town from killing Flint.

Eleanor knows the secret that Max has been hiding. At last, an ally of Flint finally knows about the treacherous idea to rob the Urca gold. This will be good. But first, what will Eleanor do about the death of her father? I want her to go full on dark. Take no shit from Max and put her in her place. I also hope she is able to stop Rackham from leaving Nassau to get the Urca gold.

Finally, what will now happen to Flint and Miranda? I am eager to see how they interact with Peter Ashe.

Hey, @Robert Fruin:disqus!! Eagerly looking forward to the advance review of next week's episode.

  3. I can't wait to watch it, hopefully Starz will put the screener up soon. I already know what happens in it as they sent me a spoiler list, and let me tell it's going to be a huge episode.

  4. I had to re-watch the ending again. Vane's in Charlestown, but how? It was noted his ship was still in the bay when Rackham and Featherstone were at the fort. I'm curious how A: He got a ship big enough for his crew without anyone noticing and B: how he got to Charlestown near enough to Flint's arrival undetected. ]
