  1. I'm so glad Rachel finally knows the truth. And I'm glad they're out of that place now.

The rest of the ep, for me it was just......meh. I'm just not feeling it this season.

  3. when Rachel told Logan to walk away from her.. I just laughed...

    and yelled at the tv...
oh come off it girl... how the hell are you gonna handle that kid.. when he goes all wolf.... on her ass...
I'm gonna have to rewatch because I want to know who's blood got injected into her...

  4. Alister is very powerful. He mangled to create an illusion of himself impaled and fool Paige as well. She is a witch so should be able to tell when something is real or not.

Like I thought, Savanna is becoming more powerful than Alister. she was able to break the spell on her by merely wanting friendship more than being controlled. Imagine what she will be able to do when she is fully powerful.

  5. Idk, I loved this episode. When Elena almost lost her mind, and the show revealed her number one fear — Olson — I was both creeped out and pitied Elena. Rarely any shows deal with rape culture, and the way Bitten deals with it is simply...amazing.

Im still incredibly disappointed that they've veered so far away from the books, I never understand why writers/show runners feel the need to make up garbage when the story is already there to work from. Game of Thrones & countless feature films have proved that sticking closely to the source material is the successful route to go. Why have the extra expense of paying for the book rights & then use nothing but the character names, basic descriptions & barely any of the storylines, just makes no sense.

  8. so fans won't expect where they're going because if you want the same thing as the book then just read the book. There's no surprises if it's the same thing

The point I'm trying to make that you seem to not get is when rights to a book series are purchased the show runners/networks are banking on an already well established fan base, not utilizing the source material alienates that fan base. Writers can easily take the source material & make it their own while staying true to the books. All one has to do is look at shows like Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead & The 100 to see that adapting a book series to television is wildly successful when the source material is used properly.

  10. Why did Rachel tell Logan to touch the top instead of her? Is her mind no longer an "outside mind"?
This episode made me feel uncomfortable. There was so much going, too much chaos, and gore, and unneccessary scenes. Scenes that made no sense, it felt rushed and lazy. Like this all powerful witch who could do so much damage and have so much control and that control is broken with one spinning top? Lol comeeee onnnn. There are so many unanswered thoughts. The bunnies, Saundras death, Phillips sisters unnecessary come back to haunt Elenas thoughts, intestines spilled out, blood bath, hallucinations, the property, what a witch and werewolf baby makes (if Paige gets pregnant), why Log n Rach leave their friends behind, hellllooooooooo. God this episode was too much.

  11. How are they straying from the books? I'd say they are sticking too close to them. This is the second book to a tee.

    1. Alastair does not exist in the books, its a rich guy who kidnaps supes to study them & then release them on his compound to hunt them for sport. He doesn't have some prophecy backed evil plan to end all witches. There is no zombified feel no pain cult worshpping the rich guy in the books either.

    2. Ruth never had children, she never gae birth to some evil prophecy boy child & Paige is adopted. Also they have TOTALLY messed up the world mythos with the whole no male witches & I don't even want to get started on the while Malcom Danvers was alive thng from last season that bled into begnning of this one.
