  1. Bob Odenkirk was great on Breaking Bad but he really has been fantastic on this show. And it feels different enough from Breaking Bad to where it feels like another show.

  3. Such an awesome episode of this awesome show. I'm going to be so sad when the season is all over.

I was really surprised that the Kettleman's storyline seems to be finished! I would have thought that they would have waited till the finale to close it out but I'm just glad that it's finally over for them. There was no way that Craig was going to be fully exonerated of his charges so Betsy was really ridiculous when she suggested that. Back to HHM you go, Kettlemans.

Jimmy has a new office building! Nice! And don't worry Jimmy, I have a strong feeling that Kim will want to partner up with you in the future once she's (hopefully) done with HHM. God, I loved that scene where they were both just smoking and talking about why Jimmy took the Kettleman's case in their usual spot. I just love their interactions so much.

Mike the fixer has begun! Such a great scene where he hides outside out of the Kettleman's house to steal the embezzled money to give it to Jimmy and take it to the DA's office. The Kettleman's are so screwed.

Bob Odenkirk's final scene was just phenomenal. Going from an absolute rage, to bawling on the office floor crying, and then to stop all of that to answer a phone call in hopes of getting a client. Looks like we are getting closer and closer to seeing James McGill go full on Saul Goodman.

  4. This show needs to stop making me so emotionally invested in Jimmy! I find his entire story so damn tragic, he keeps on wanting to do the right thing and it keeps on causing him pain and trouble.

I'm so interested in his relationship with Kim, I guess they used to date perhaps and it didn't work out and he is clearly still in love with her? Or maybe they never dated and he never told her his feelings.

The Kettlemans are such a delight, their insistence on being innocent!

The thing I dread the most about Better Call Saul is the ending credits. Because the episodes are so fucking mindblowing that I can't get over the fact they have to end at some point. And they usually end so abruptly... :/

  6. At this point I doubt the show will reach "awesome" status for me, but I think the acting and the characters' tribulations make it an excellent watch.

The Kettlemans were pretty awful... delightful adversaries mind you, just awful people! Glad Jimmy got one over them!

Kim is really great! I'm so curious to see what happens with her, and how it comes about she's not in Jimmy's life by the beginning of BrB. (I get why she couldn't be, when Jimmy turns full on "Saul" but the journey there I'm in for)

I really liked the conversation between Mike and his older colleague. And I liked that he said he liked the new kid even if he was getting him in trouble. That's the Mike I love!

Yay at Chuck trying to get better, even if he's unwilling to get proper help. And I liked that Jimmy kinda tricked him into looking at the files. It was lovely brotherly gesture.

Also Poor Jimmy! Just can't seem to catch a break... my heart aches for him. It really does!

Overall yet another good installment of the show.

  7. Hmm...
Were the offices Jimmy planned on renting the same as the offices from Mad Men Season 4? The windows looked so familiar to me. Maybe just same era or architect etc...

  8. Great Episode....BUT...how Dumb was Saul when he accepted that misely 30K from them...he could've gotten the 100K that Nacho offered him...THEN, Jimmy had the whole 1.6 Million in his hands and he didnt keep it... that's Not Saul...Loving all the Mike scenes...☺...

  9. Ditto about the Kettleman's being a delight. The actress (don't know her name) is playing her so well.

  10. Julie Ann Emery is her name and she is Sexy...Google her name to see more Pics of her...☺...

  11. Well, he isn't Saul. Not only has he not taken on that persona yet, but he also is a different person at this point in his life than when we meet him in Breaking Bad. The kind of person that he is right now is trying to resist his criminal impulses, and him accepting the bribe from the Kettlemans was kind of a 'falling off the wagon' moment.
