Things are finally cooling down and at the same time heating up for Olicity. That was some blatant flirting between them near the end. I don't think it's going to be long now. He'll start fighting for Felicity soon. Thank God for that, I'm SOOOOOO tired of watching Oliver be miserable.
I also have to point out that Felicity outright telling him they're not together because of him, and that it's his turn to fight for her was the greatest. It shows that she still has feelings for him, but now he needs to take the reigns.
And throughout the all, Ray and Felicity's relationship couldn't be more unstable than it is right now. I mean come on, she can't even pretend that she's in that relationship for the long haul.
Obviously it wasn't. Everyone has things they watch for on television shows. I'm a shipper. I ship. Olicity has been bringing mostly misery for the entirety of this season. I'm happy that's coming to an end.
Not sure you intentionally said that Olicity "has been bringing mostly misery for the entirety of the season" (your words not mine) but I concur. Probably not for the same reasons
Clearly not for the same reasons no. And yes I wrote that on purpose. Those two have been in a bad place for most of the season. Most of the things that people like about Olicity are the things we haven't seen much of.
OK I get that Lance is mad that Laurel didn't tell him about Sara and I know he loves Laurel but I get the feeling he loves Sara more and I can't wait to see Nyssa train Laurel and I can't with Felicity and Oliver
THANK GOD I'm finally happy after an Arrow episode. MY HERO IS BACK! THE EMERALD ARCHER IS BACK!!!!!!!!!!!! I was so mad at him at the bginning when he was lying to everyone BUT HE CAME AROUND AND I GOT MY HERO BACK So much Olicity goodness (and yes you will dance with her Oliver) I'm crying. Theroy is back too. Plz Roy don't die :( The pit is a go. I like the Laurel and Nyssa dynamic. Lance and Oliver are breaking my heart but it had to happen and they better fix this before the season ends. Ra's you son.... he's impersonating Oliver??? I didn't see that coming.
Obviously but again I concur, whatever made me in some shape or form enjoy the two (not as a couple but characters) is gone. Felicity has turned into a snoozey, depressing and in some way Laurel-esque character and Oliver...meh
I hate ships, you love em. Pretty much the only significant difference here.
We both love television and the show, a show isn't only ships so we're bound to have some common ground
Plus, even Olicity shippers aren't happy with Olicity these days, I feel quite home with my criticisms of the ship (wich at some point I have condoned but stopped when it started becoming too much)
Saludos, you're from cuba by any chance? Some weird dictature? Russia maybe? The "can't write or gave your opinion about it" makes it sound like you're used to being opressed, tell me...is it fun?
okay that "Our hero is back" label some people publicise here is kinda bothering me. He's always been our hero, some just refuse to accept him as such as long as he's not furthering their ship
I expect Lance/Oliver to rekindle before episode 20........I haven't watch the episode but I predict they will respect each other then.....I mean team arrow is stopping a metahuman in episode 19 I don't see how if they chased by SCPD
let's just shake hands and forget we ever assaulted each other, you can even have a hug if you want. I swore myself I wouldn't bite tonight,,,that was just too tempting ;)
Well Stephen said that he won't be fighting the metahuman with the team. I think he might be in jail. But maybe Cisco and Joe will help Quentin see Oliver as a hero again.
No, still a solid episode and a garanteed DC-fangasm. Mostly it was about Oliver remembering why he went on with the crusade so long and questionning if he has actually done more good than wrong. Also,Thea is facing her existential crisis and her profound hatred for Malcom. But yeah, definitely some Olicity moments but it's to be expected because Felicity and Diggle are of course the only ones who can help Oliver answer the hard questions he has. It makes sense he would seek them out for advice: they were there almost from the beginning. (although major flirting alert... judging by your relentless comments regarding Olicity, you're gonna dislike that a huge deal)
Well, like many scenes we've had in past shows/movies. It`s usually a thing to strain the relationship between allies only to have them rekindle with one of them dying
Oliver in jail won't explain how he will be in NP in episode 20..............isn't there a some involving nyssa and the police? Maybe she break Oliver out of police custody
lol if that's the worst I'll survive it. Frankly the only scene I just didn't survive was their 3*01 date that`s about it. As long as neither are degraded to dull love interests I'm fine
Oh, no! It was a good episode centered in Oliver. Oliver and Felicity went back to a sort of evolved Season 2 mode. It was mostly talk about Oliver's motives. He have "Part 1" with Digg and "Part 2" with Felicity.
They put some shippy things that you won't like, but it's better than the angsty crap they've been doing all Season so far.
The baddie of the week was a little disappointing in my opinion. They took him out a little too easily. But I guess they had a lot of other things to focus on so I'll forgive the writers.
It was a very character driven episode for Oliver. This was the breaking point for the character. From now on he should start solving his identity problem.
The cast and writers say things are going to get worse before getting better and Ra's going destory everthing that make Oliver Oliver and the same for the arrow to make him the next Ra's
I know all that so let me have tonight. I've been slowly dying this season so don't take this away from me. You know what, I'm not reading Infinite Crisis :\
Loved this episode. Mostly because it was very character driven and centered in Oliver, something the show was screaming for! It might be my favourite episode of the season, so far.
It was more Oliver deciding what to do. Thea spiralling. Laurel bonding with Nyssa. Basically fallout of every plot. Oh and Oliver being reminded of why he does what he does. And Ra's being an asshole.
It was inevitable. Also lol, the minute Oliver thanked Felicity she started getting flirty. I just find it both sad and hilarious that Ray is basically an outlet for her. I mean she clearly has feelings in some degree, but I just find it sadly hilarious how litte chance Ray stands. Lol just like Iris and Eddie.
Only thing i wrong about infinite crisis i think it was final crisis Oliver die in you have to be dead to a black lantern in blackest night that event took place after them two
He really needs to get his own show soon. I don't want him to interact with Cisco either. I need to find a place to send him to where I don't have to see him lol But seriously Oliver's interaction with him was priceless haha
Haven't seen this yet... But I'm a little nervous now... I was excited, but I dunno now... Can't wait 'til itunes has it up and I can tell for sure... I don't want to admit what I was hoping for... But anyway...
Lol true, and he kicked his addiction. I know you probably don't know what I'm taking about but I have to bitch: I hate how DC kicked him out of the Original Seven.
Man's tricked God, the Devil and Bats and Supes. And if you want a con man/ dabbler who knows a ton about the occult he's your man. Plus he's cool. I mean Sam and Dean are cool, but that man knows how to send someone to hell.
Yeah the New 52 replaced him with Cyborg and he's not even gonna be in the DCCU as one either. Yeah his physiology made him genetically hooked and when deprived he went nuts. Then he kicked it. And died. But Bats (I believe) the champ he is put an Oreo on his grave as a memorial. So moral of the story, Bats a drug dealer.
I can't. I love everyone (except Sara she's okay and I like don't love Palmer) in it. But I get why you won't watch it. Plus apparently Rip Hunter (time travelling hero) is in it. So I gots to watch it. The fanboy in it demands it.
Related to our talk about Palmer and Felicity. This is sort of related. Have you seen Chuck? Because if you have it's yet another time lol, where Brandon Routh is playing the placeholder love interest.
I can't hate you for that Koky you're too cool (as ice, oh god I can't stop-help). I don't get it but if it's how you feel it's how you feel. I'm still so pumped for next week. It's gonna be amellzing.
Lol. Still I'll take romance Palmer over hero romance Shaw any day (oh the joy I felt when Chuck saved Sarah- loved him as a villain though) least in Supernan Returns he got to be the main one (but lol even that didn't last the sequel got cancelled and a reboot was made). Man he can not catch a break.
It's from this combined Tomorrow People and Arrow promo. Basically Stephen and Robbie Amell are promoting "Amell" Wednesdays and Robbie starts making all these puns. it's pretty funny. Here's a link if you wanna see it: http://youtube.com/watch?v=VWB4DEa_N6M
Welcome back, Oliver. I've missed you so, so much. I practically sighed with relief when Oliver and Diggle and Oliver and Felicity had nice constructive conversations without all the yelling and judgement. He really needs to find his way.
Paul Blackthorn killed it tonight. I feel so bad for him and it is probably only going to get worse. It says terrible things for the sympathetic nature of various characters that they spent more time with Oliver lamenting lying to Lance than they ever have with Laurel. Blackthorn totally delivered the nuances and betrayals and struggles he is facing wanting to forgive and trust people who have betrayed him. He was great.
No sadly I'm sticking it out. I wanted it done after 7 though. (andI'll be catching up with Constantine during summer. l Haven't bothered since the pilot although I have all the episodes recorded. Lol)
I have been dreading this episode ever since that dumb cliffhanger in the last episode but I gotta say that I'm surprised by how much I thoroughly enjoyed it. Arrow is back on my good graces again and it feels so good!
I had a feeling that Quentin was going to be extremely angry at the Arrow for keeping such a huge secret from him so I was not surprised by it. This is going to be a bumpy ride but I just hope this doesn't diminish the partnership forever and they will get through this together.
I absolutely loved the scenes in Thea and Oliver's apartment where everyone was trash talking Malcolm when he was not even 10 feet away from them haha. It was hilarious.
Can Katrina Law be a regular already? Seriously Nyssa just makes the show so much better for me and I love her so much. Her training Laurel? All the yes to this because she needs all the help she can get so she can get better in her combat skills. This is a little odd pairing I gotta admit but I like what the writers are doing. They're both going through similar things in their lives right now so it's a perfect chance for them to bond.
Murmur was really underwhelming in this episode (he was only in like what, 2 scenes?) but I guess you can't utilize a villain as much who can't even talk haha. And awww at Team Arrow finally getting along again after that rough patch and it was obvious that Ollie was going to decline Ra's offer but it was still great to hear him say that. Team Arrow FTW! Felicity also telling Ollie that she's happy as long as he is there was also just adorable.
That final scene was so awesome! Ra's impersonating the Arrow definitely made my jaw drop (something I haven't done in a LONG time while watching this show). This is going to get very interesting.
They pretty much did what they've always done. Only suddenly all the "Olicity in 3x01 was out of left field" people are like OMG she's flirting when she's dating Ray.
LAZARUS PIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it was so awesome when Ra's put his hand in the Pit and it healed him, ROY AND THEA AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nyssa going out with Laurel that's cute i guess. Seeing Nyssa try to be normal will be really cool
aren't you interest in how Ra's have an exact replicate of Oliver suit........looks like Oliver's trouble becoming much worse...and I think Oliver's frame for murder will be hard to clear anytime soon
Thinking about it, I think that's why Oliver was so lost and making terrible decisions throughout the entire season. He was shut off from the people who make him a better person (Diggle and Felicity). Now that he's opening up to them, we're seeing the Oliver we've known and love again :')
It just goes to show how much the original team arrow impacts Oliver. I mean, this is why they've become the heart of the show. They make the lead someone worth rooting for. Other characters can come and go, but in the end, OG team arrow are the most important.
So that was all kinds of awesome. Such an uplifting episode after some time.
Positives -Oliver's decision. Love you Oliver. -Ra's just decided to cosplay. He just joined the action and I cheered -Diggle and Felicity helping Oliver to make a decision. Love. -Nyssa my love. She is fierce and vulnerable at the same time. Laurel/Nyssa training will be goos to see -All things Quentin Lance. Paul Blackthorne is chewing the scenery. His scene with Laurel was so great. -Thea/Roy-Even though I don't want them to be an item right now I was happy to see them together. -Malcolm and his devious mind. He is planning something. I know he is. -Ray Palmer/Felicity. It was really great to see Felicity happy but baby girl was back to season 2 flirting with Oliver the first chance she got LOL. Poor Ray. -Murmur was an episode appropriate villain.
Negatives -Oliver making Malcolm stay with Thea. That is so wrong at all levels I can't accept. She is made to feed him and help him. The man who made her into a victim and killer at the same time. Why can't Oliver put him in a cheap hotel? If that is not possible ask Roy to give up his shack and Oliver move there with Malcolm. Roy can be roomies with Thea in the loft. Or better yet throw Malcolm into that cage in the Arrow cave. Thea almost committed suicide because of this guy. Now she has to see him where she lives. I would like to see how much Oliver would like shacking up with Slade Wilson. -Hong Kong scenes were utter boring. Just avoid it for one or two episodes and then do a bulk of it. -Oliver taking responsibility for lying to Malcolm and Lance's reaction. That's all on Laurel and more on Felicity for forging Sara's voice. Not on you Oliver.
All in all a great episode. Our Emerald Archer got a new life this episode.
Malcolm knew about the prophecy. So if he send Oliver to die and he survived there was a change he could take Ra's place and Malcolm's debt would be solved.
So true. I felt relieved after watching this episode. Ratings might have been good but the show is at its best potential when it concentrates on Oliver.
I always had the feeling Lance idolizes Sara more and he uses Laurel a lot. Of course he loves Laurel but he judges her more harshly than Sara. Sara kept her being alive a secret for so long. Lance himself kept Sara being alive a secret from Laurel and Dinah in the name of protecting them. As much as I hate what Laurel did is that worse than what Lance did last season? He let Laurel go on believing her sister is dead. There is some hypocrisy going on here. The difference is in season 2 LoA felt like a legitimate threat but in season 3 Lance's heart problem does not seem like reason enough keep the secret and it feels like unnecessary drama. And that colors the way we view Lance and Laurel.
For whatever it is worth I saw a interview on etalk today about Arrow and Colton said Stephen and his tweets about saying goodbye/ hardest day at work ever weren't about a upcoming death on the show .... just a emotionally charged goodbye scene.
I'd argue Thea's just as if not more important. I love the original Tam Arrow, but I'm so glad they expanded (so pumped for Thea). I think Oliver's worth rooting for no matter what. He's good even without his team. They just encourage and bring out more humanity (same with Thea and Roy). But I'd also argue the decisions were more a result of not properly dealing with Sara's death and grieving like the others, then becoming so obsessed with not letting Thea die like Sara and doing anything to stop Ra's (including working with Merlyn) that he lost sight of himself. Thus causing problems with the team (well that and them moving on from his death and protecting the city without him).
Good news GOOD NEWS ... we only have one more week break to deal with for the remaining seven episodes on April 8th. ( March 25h, April 1st, 15th, 22nd, 29th, May 6th & 13th )
I actually agree with you :) I should've put Thea in there as well because Oliver would do /anything/ for her. He would go to hell and back for her. So yeah, she's one of the most, if not THE most important person in his life right now. Roy is more of a mixed bag because I honestly think Oliver can function without him.
Oliver distanced himself emotionally from /everyone/ this season. Like Slade said, how many people does Oliver have to lose before he stops being Oliver? I think a lot of that has to do with the decisions Oliver has been making this season. Take away the people he loves most, and there you have a man who's just a shell making terrible decisions.
True, but I still have to contribute it to Sara's death triggering a domino effect on Oliver. That destroyed his ability to think clearly. Then caused him to shut down from everyone for a while around episode 12.
I actually jumped off the couch I was lying on at the sight of Nissa "complimenting" Laurel, like I had serious vibes about her approach. Perhaps because of their similar yet distinct daddy issues but I'm kinda liking it.
Hopefully Nissa proves to be a better teacher to Laurel than Oliver was, as if he ever trained her at all after Ted left the scene.
So we won't know it this season? BTW when is spring? I live in a country which has only two seasons. Even if Arrow writers make Laurel bisexual she won't have a relationship with Nyssa.
I thought Oliver was going to be set up but never imagined it would be by Ra's! He was the worst big bad ever until now, so I'm kind of glad he joined the party! Ray didn't irk me nearly as much this episode and I thought that I was gonna hate him even more. So Nyssa is the new trainer! We don't have to wait 'till next season after all... I don't like that Laurel judged Thea so much, but I do appreciate the fact that they're bonding, I really liked Thea/Laurel in season 1. Tell me, now that Oliver doesn't need to fight Ra's, why didn't he kick Malcolm's sorry ass out? (I know he'll probably be useful in the future, but now it doesn't make any sense to harbor him). You know why Lance is pissed at Oliver? Because the writers needed a reason for him to be pissed at Oliver! They're are doing what they do best! Making up some really crappy means to justify the ends. Oh, one more thing, have you seen Lance deliver the line of doom? "Laurel Lance, always trying to save the world", I almost yelled at the TV, both Tommy and Sara said that before dying! Please don't die Cap!
I currently live in Saudi Arabia. We have only summer and winter here.
March 20th is tomorrow. What? So we will know about Sara's fate in next few episodes? I am so excited. Did you see Ra's guiding a lady warrior this episode? All kind of warning bells rang in my head when that scene happened. Sure it could be a simple scene for Ra's to show he is kind to Oliver. But a female warrior? Was it Sara? Or Lady Shiva? If she is Lady Shiva she could be next mentor for Laurel as MG teased someone new is coming sometime before.
With the way CL is the major factor in creating buzz for this spin-off. I think she will have some connection to Sara if she is not Sara herself. I dont think she will be completely new character. But with ties to either Flash or Arrow. So either resurrection or something the Flash comes up with. I am not sure when exactly but AK did say Spring time. I am guessing sometime in April and they will probably push it hard at SDCC.
About Nyssa the trainer. I think she will be temporary until Sara returns. Did you see that lady assassin Ra's guided in front of Oliver. All sorts of warning bells rang for me there. Could it be Lady Shiva? If she is then she could be Laurel's mentor next year. Laurel saying "but you tried to kill your father Thea" in exclamations irritated me. It was Laurel's words that pushed Thea into this. Also Laurel herself was ready to kill Malcolm last episode. It did not make any sense. I would have liked it had she came there and told Thea you don't have to stay with this monster. Come stay with me. Now that is what I would have done for Thea. Oliver harboring Malcolm is so absurd at this juncture there is no point discussing it. It's plain ridiculous. I am ready to accept Oliver is scared of League retaliation and he wants Malcolm for information. Then why treat him as a house guest? Why put Thea through this? Find a corner in the foundry. If he won't run away from the loft he won't run away from foundry too. Speaking of foundry will they ever find out the cameras planted by Merlyn there? I am so annoyed at the Lance storyline. But I can digest it because it gives Paul Blackthorne something tremendous to do. But the hypocrisy is too much. He himself kept the fact that Sara was alive from Dinah and Laurel for their protection last season. What Laurel done was unnecessary, melodramatic and annoying for us audience but in the scope of the show both deception were kind of on par. Noooo. Don't jinx Lance. I hope he is able to break the "Dinah Laurel Lance" curse.
Did he say that in a Paley Fest interview? I truly believe Caity will play Sara itself. Now will she play canary or if she will take another moniker is the question. I don't think they would want two canaries in the same universe. They don't have the guts or belief to pull it off. Otherwise they would never have killed Sara.
Usually, writers plan and map everything out in advance before filming so I'm hoping they know what they're doing, especially with they're going to do with Caity's character.
They had the same issue last season with Flash backdoor pilot of episode 20 being cancelled. That is why there was some filler stuff in back half of season 2. Now this is something really new. But they must have had plans to bring her back as soon as they started thinking about the spin off with BR. I hope it all make sense in the end. Even if it doesn't Arrow is such a guilty pleasure I will still watch it and enjoy it with all its flaws.
I have a feeling some of the characters like Sara or some new characters may guest star one or two of Arrow and Flash episodes before mid season finale of next season.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

The pit is a go.
I like the Laurel and Nyssa dynamic.
Lance and Oliver are breaking my heart but it had to happen and they better fix this before the season ends.
Ra's you son.... he's impersonating Oliver??? I didn't see that coming.
CAN'T WAIT FOR NEXT WEEK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Obviously but again I concur, whatever made me in some shape or form enjoy the two (not as a couple but characters) is gone. Felicity has turned into a snoozey, depressing and in some way Laurel-esque character and Oliver...meh
ReplyDeleteI think this is one of the few times we actually agree on something...this is weird. I'm not used to this.
ReplyDeleteMy angst finally ends with this episode, our hero is back!! Totally agreed with you!!!
ReplyDeleteI hate ships, you love em. Pretty much the only significant difference here.

ReplyDeleteWe should go back to arguing about something soon. This is unfamiliar ground.
ReplyDeleteYES!!!!! They've been killing us all season. I can't believe I'm this happy. I have to admit I was so dreading this episode but boy was I wrong :D
ReplyDeleteokay that "Our hero is back" label some people publicise here is kinda bothering me. He's always been our hero, some just refuse to accept him as such as long as he's not furthering their ship

ReplyDeletewouldn't it be more dramatic to have Lance rekindle with Oliver while dying? At least as far as dramatic impact goes. I fear for Lances life
ReplyDeleteWell Stephen said that he won't be fighting the metahuman with the team. I think he might be in jail. But maybe Cisco and Joe will help Quentin see Oliver as a hero again.
ReplyDeleteyou mean like Thoron forgiving Bibilo for betraying him? ifrom the hobbit
ReplyDeleteNo, still a solid episode and a garanteed DC-fangasm. ReplyDeleteYeeea, no....
ReplyDeleteWell, like many scenes we've had in past shows/movies. It`s usually a thing to strain the relationship between allies only to have them rekindle with one of them dying
ReplyDeleteno hug? Too awkward? I understand that, guess no kiss on the cheek either eh? Okay *walks away*
ReplyDeleteOliver in jail won't explain how he will be in NP in episode 20..............isn't there a some involving nyssa and the police? Maybe she break Oliver out of police custody
ReplyDeleteWell, the Thea/Malcolm stuff sounds interesting.
ReplyDeleteWell, either I can enjoy the flirting or I'll just push my fingers into my ears and scream "there's no place like no-shipland" three times
thanks ^^
Maybe. I think they will team up against Ra's.
ReplyDeleteSpoiler alert, she called him handsome :P
ReplyDeletelol if that's the worst I'll survive it. Frankly the only scene I just didn't survive was their 3*01 date that`s about it. As long as neither are degraded to dull love interests I'm fine
ReplyDeleteThey ended the episode with Oliver on a high note doesnt mean things can change quick they need reason to have Ra's go after him
ReplyDeleteOh that is so not the worst of it. You are gonna HATE it lol
ReplyDeleteI don't see any Flash member being put into the fight against Ra's.
ReplyDeleteawwww :(
ReplyDeleteYou raised my hopes and then successfully crushed them. Well done Koky ;)
Well thank you kind sir :D
ReplyDeleteI was talking about Nyssa and Oliver.
ReplyDeletedarn, got the context wrong.
ReplyDeleteThey need a more valid reason for Nyssa to go full force against her dad though
Oliver actually smile this episode! Dont touch me! I am fine!
ReplyDeleteI'm getting tired of always explaining my comments to you lol
ReplyDeleteShe's already on her way.
I'm fine too.
ReplyDeleteWhy? Seriously why would you do this? Can't you let me be happy in my little denial bubble? :(
ReplyDeleteAnd Ra's is already going after him.
Oh, no! It was a good episode centered in Oliver. Oliver and Felicity went back to a sort of evolved Season 2 mode. It was mostly talk about Oliver's motives. He have "Part 1" with Digg and "Part 2" with Felicity.
ReplyDeleteThey put some shippy things that you won't like, but it's better than the angsty crap they've been doing all Season so far.
And Arrow being lighter this week than Flash. We sure Barrys trip back in time hasnt changed things?
ReplyDeleteThe baddie of the week was a little disappointing in my opinion. They took him out a little too easily. But I guess they had a lot of other things to focus on so I'll forgive the writers.
ReplyDeleteIt was a very character driven episode for Oliver. This was the breaking point for the character. From now on he should start solving his identity problem.
ReplyDeletedefinitely agree about the Queen siblings haha they've had a rough year? couple months? unsure of the timeline here...
ReplyDeleteThe cast and writers say things are going to get worse before getting better and Ra's going destory everthing that make Oliver Oliver and the same for the arrow to make him the next Ra's
ReplyDeleteTry several years lol
ReplyDeleteI know all that so let me have tonight. I've been slowly dying this season so don't take this away from me. You know what, I'm not reading Infinite Crisis :\
ReplyDeleteCan we start a petition demanding that Barry travels back in time every week?
ReplyDeleteToo much sadness for you
ReplyDeleteNo I'm punishing you lol
ReplyDeleteLoved this episode. Mostly because it was very character driven and centered in Oliver, something the show was screaming for! It might be my favourite episode of the season, so far.
ReplyDeleteIt was more Oliver deciding what to do. Thea spiralling. Laurel bonding with Nyssa. Basically fallout of every plot. Oh and Oliver being reminded of why he does what he does. And Ra's being an asshole.
ReplyDeleteRa's Al Ghul just beat Ray for the prize of best stalker!!!!!
ReplyDeleteIt was inevitable.
ReplyDeleteRay who? LOL
ReplyDeleteLol. Well at least he'll bond with Cisco in 1x18. So he'll have friendship to fill the void.
ReplyDeleteSorry for this: Thorin and Bilbo.
ReplyDeleteOnly thing i wrong about infinite crisis i think it was final crisis Oliver die in you have to be dead to a black lantern in blackest night that event took place after them two
ReplyDeleteHe really needs to get his own show soon. I don't want him to interact with Cisco either. I need to find a place to send him to where I don't have to see him lol
ReplyDeleteBut seriously Oliver's interaction with him was priceless haha
I agree. It was screaming for it.
ReplyDeleteLmaoooo. I'm more than fine. I'm in total bliss. ; )
ReplyDeleteI'm back to voting awesome for Arrow! Do you have any idea how happy that makes me?
ReplyDeleteHaven't seen this yet... But I'm a little nervous now... I was excited, but I dunno now... Can't wait 'til itunes has it up and I can tell for sure... I don't want to admit what I was hoping for... But anyway...
ReplyDeleteI still wanted him to take the offer because declining it was too predictable.
ReplyDeleteMuch as I can't stand Malcolm, I love how John just stands out in that role.
I hope Nissa does train Laurel, she really needs it.
Some of this I agree with. Your comment made me smile. And yeah Ra's pulled a Laurel, I don't like it. Catch the Friends reference. LOL
ReplyDeleteWill he's getting the spinoff (which should have Ronnie).
ReplyDelete"And yeah Ra's pulled a Laurel" hahahaha
ReplyDeleteWhat Friends reference?
Umm I hear HELL is open this time of year. Just contact the Winchesters they'll take care of it.
ReplyDeletehow did it explain malcolm sending oliver to die?
ReplyDeleteI suggested that he flies to Mars but the writers apparently had other plans.
ReplyDeleteThe Felicity who you call depressing is dead in this episode.
ReplyDeleteNO IT SHOULDN'T
ReplyDeleteDon't worry the weirdness goes away after enough times.
ReplyDeleteIt's weird, right? How I first felt when Mac and I started agreeing.
ReplyDeleteI voted awesome too. I didn't even realize til I seen this comment. I thought that wouldn't happen til next week. Color me surprised.
ReplyDeleteWell at least I still have Stein and Cold.
ReplyDeleteI respectfully disagree. The banter is delightful and Firestorm is cool. Would be awesome.
ReplyDeleteI had so very low expectations for this episode. Which is why I'm extra happy tonight.
ReplyDeleteHeatwave.
ReplyDeleteI'm willing to sacrifice the banter in order to keep Ronnie on the Flash.
ReplyDeleteYou like Snowstorm don't you? Fine. I'm going go sulk in a corner while imagining banter.
ReplyDeleteYay him too. If only we could have Jay Garrick.
ReplyDeleteI do like Snowstorm but that's not the reason. I like Ronnie and I don't want him to leave for the spinoff because I won't watch it.
ReplyDeleteConstantine's a better bit.
ReplyDeleteCold is not going to the spinoff.
ReplyDeleteIt's Ray isn't it. You should still give it a chance.
ReplyDeleteYeah he is. Look it up. He and Heatwave are both contracted.
ReplyDeleteContact J'onn J'onnz he might help.
ReplyDeleteGASP!! You can't figure out the reference, using my words in that sentence?? I'll give you a minute to figure it out.
ReplyDeleteDef not. Winchesters all day.
ReplyDeleteNo I like him. I wouldn't wish Ray on my worst enemy lol
ReplyDeleteYeah it's him. I really can't stand the character whether he's with Felicity or not and whether he's on Arrow or not.
ReplyDeleteIt's 5 am and I'm so sleep deprived you have no idea. Ok wait I'll try to get it.
ReplyDeleteYeah what Graydon said. Get J'onn. But Umm, make sure you have some Oreos first so he knows you're will to make a deal.
ReplyDeleteAs did I. I was really looking forward to be disappointed tonight.
ReplyDeleteWAIT! You mean pulled a Monica?
ReplyDeleteLol true, and he kicked his addiction. I know you probably don't know what I'm taking about but I have to bitch: I hate how DC kicked him out of the Original Seven.
ReplyDeleteBlissful sigh
ReplyDeleteMan's tricked God, the Devil and Bats and Supes. And if you want a con man/ dabbler who knows a ton about the occult he's your man. Plus he's cool. I mean Sam and Dean are cool, but that man knows how to send someone to hell.
ReplyDeleteWait he's not a member of the justice league anymore? And he was an addict?
ReplyDeleteThe news said that it's only heatwave.
ReplyDeleteWait I need to check this.
ReplyDeleteYeah you're right :( that's a shame I was starting to like CC.
ReplyDeleteHe was one of the first announced with Stein, Canary?, Atom.
ReplyDeleteHOLD ON! HE WAS ADDICTED TO OREOS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteAre you being serious right now?!! He was addicted to Oreos?
ReplyDeleteYes. I shit you not. And for that I love him. Well that and his personality and powers. And coolness.
ReplyDeleteYeah I remember now. That's weird, I must've blacked it out. You see how much I hate this spinoff?
ReplyDeleteYeah I wasn't very impressed in his first episode.
ReplyDeleteI don't think I'm ever going to stop laughing about this my whole life lol
ReplyDeleteI love him for those reasons too, minus the Oreos lol
I can't. I love everyone (except Sara she's okay and I like don't love Palmer) in it. But I get why you won't watch it. Plus apparently Rip Hunter (time travelling hero) is in it. So I gots to watch it. The fanboy in it demands it.
ReplyDeleteSeriously? I thought he was as cool as ice. Damn got nothing new. Is it the whole he has a gun thing?
ReplyDeleteOk don't hate me for this but some of Wentworth's facial expressions were a little exaggerated and he annoyed me a little at first.
ReplyDeleteRelated to our talk about Palmer and Felicity. This is sort of related. Have you seen Chuck? Because if you have it's yet another time lol, where Brandon Routh is playing the placeholder love interest.
ReplyDeleteI can't hate you for that Koky you're too cool (as ice, oh god I can't stop-help). I don't get it but if it's how you feel it's how you feel. I'm still so pumped for next week. It's gonna be amellzing.
ReplyDeleteIndeed I did. I was just saying that yesterday I think. And it's the third season too. That man is cursed apparently lol
ReplyDeleteYes I'm being serious. Those are his favorite cookies.
ReplyDeleteI think you should watch seasons 1-7 again. We'll have this convo again when John can get to a season 7. But first he's gotta make it past 1. ; )
ReplyDeleteYou need new pun materials lol
ReplyDeleteI've grown to like him though. "amellzing" was that a play on words? I don't get it.
YES!!! There ya go. = D
ReplyDeleteIn his defense they are very delicious :D
ReplyDeleteLol.
ReplyDeleteDon't remind me. I hated Shaw as much as I hate Ray and I never trusted him. Not even when he forgave Sarah.
ReplyDeleteNo he can't hahahaha
Its the superman cursed bad things happen to people that plays superman
ReplyDeleteTHANK GOD. That would've kept me up all night and my sleeping patterns these days are bad as it is.
ReplyDeleteIt's from this combined Tomorrow People and Arrow promo. Basically Stephen and Robbie Amell are promoting "Amell" Wednesdays and Robbie starts making all these puns. it's pretty funny. Here's a link if you wanna see it: http://youtube.com/watch?v=VWB4DEa_N6M
ReplyDeleteI do need more though, my friend would be ashamed.
ReplyDeleteYou mean Reeve?
ReplyDeleteHe's can do it. He's a tough old sod. Wait did you stop after 7? If you did can't say I blame you.
ReplyDeleteI know what it means I didn't get it because Robbie is not going to be on the Flash next week. That's when you lost me.
ReplyDeleteMan's like perma cockblocked. Lol I just remembered how Chuck fans always called him 2x4 good times.
ReplyDeleteI know i just wanted to make a bad joke/pun/reference like the cool as ice one (the reference is the Vanilla Ice movie cool as ice).
ReplyDeleteWelcome back, Oliver. I've missed you so, so much. I practically sighed with relief when Oliver and Diggle and Oliver and Felicity had nice constructive conversations without all the yelling and judgement. He really needs to find his way.
ReplyDeletePaul Blackthorn killed it tonight.
You REALLY need new material lol
ReplyDeleteWell the first guy who play superman kill himself and Reeve lost his ability to use arms and leg and others their acting career was never the same
ReplyDeleteis Rip Hunter his codename or his real name
ReplyDeleteI didn't know about the first one.
ReplyDeleteI don't like Superman being associated with curses :(
That's how I feel about Jay Leno. Fuck that's dated. Goddammit I need writers.
ReplyDeleteno to which one?
ReplyDeleteSure start working on that :P
ReplyDeleteThe second.
ReplyDeleteThat's two episodes, two days in a row! And we're about to make it 3 With TVD tomorrow. Well well, that's awesome.
ReplyDeleteHaha, now you can rest easy. Literally.
ReplyDeleteNo sadly I'm sticking it out. I wanted it done after 7 though. (andI'll be catching up with Constantine during summer. l Haven't bothered since the pilot although I have all the episodes recorded. Lol)
ReplyDeleteyou are watching this from Europe
ReplyDeleteWe deserve this.
ReplyDeleteI have been dreading this episode ever since that dumb cliffhanger in the last episode but I gotta say that I'm surprised by how much I thoroughly enjoyed it. Arrow is back on my good graces again and it feels so good!
ReplyDeleteI had a feeling that Quentin was going to be extremely angry at the Arrow for keeping such a huge secret from him so I was not surprised by it.
ReplyDeleteLAZARUS PIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it was so awesome when Ra's put his hand in the Pit and it healed him, ROY AND THEA AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nyssa going out with Laurel that's cute i guess. Seeing Nyssa try to be normal will be really cool
ReplyDeletearen't you interest in how Ra's have an exact replicate of Oliver suit........looks like Oliver's trouble becoming much worse...and I think Oliver's frame for murder will be hard to clear anytime soon
ReplyDeleteThinking about it, I think that's why Oliver was so lost and making terrible decisions throughout the entire season. He was shut off from the people who make him a better person (Diggle and Felicity). Now that he's opening up to them, we're seeing the Oliver we've known and love again :')
ReplyDeleteIt just goes to show how much the original team arrow impacts Oliver. I mean, this is why they've become the heart of the show. They make the lead someone worth rooting for. Other characters can come and go, but in the end, OG team arrow are the most important.
So that was all kinds of awesome. Such an uplifting episode after some time.
ReplyDeletePositives
-Oliver's decision. Love you Oliver.
-Ra's just decided to cosplay. He just joined the action and I cheered
-Diggle and Felicity helping Oliver to make a decision. Love.
-Nyssa my love. She is fierce and vulnerable at the same time. Laurel/Nyssa training will be goos to see
-All things Quentin Lance.
Negatives
-Oliver making Malcolm stay with Thea.
ReplyDeleteHe made a risky move. The only one he had left.
Damn right! After all the crap we went through. They need to give back.
ReplyDeleteSo true. I felt relieved after watching this episode. Ratings might have been good but the show is at its best potential when it concentrates on Oliver.
ReplyDeleteRa's in his downtime like to do cosplay. He has the costumes of all the heroes stashed away.
ReplyDeleteI always had the feeling Lance idolizes Sara more and he uses Laurel a lot.
ReplyDeleteThe difference is in season 2 LoA felt like a legitimate threat but in season 3 Lance's heart problem does not seem like reason enough keep the secret and it feels like unnecessary drama. And that colors the way we view Lance and Laurel.
He was working on that outfit for months.
ReplyDeleteFor whatever it is worth I saw a interview on etalk today about Arrow and Colton said Stephen and his tweets about saying goodbye/ hardest day at work ever weren't about a upcoming death on the show .... just a emotionally charged goodbye scene.
ReplyDeleteI'd argue Thea's just as if not more important.
ReplyDeleteThe detail is awesome on that. Such dedication.
ReplyDeleteGood news GOOD NEWS ... we only have one more week break to deal with for the remaining seven episodes on April 8th.
ReplyDelete( March 25h, April 1st, 15th, 22nd, 29th, May 6th & 13th )
I actually agree with you :) I should've put Thea in there as well because Oliver would do /anything/ for her. He would go to hell and back for her. So yeah, she's one of the most, if not THE most important person in his life right now. Roy is more of a mixed bag because I honestly think Oliver can function without him.
ReplyDeleteOliver distanced himself emotionally from /everyone/ this season.
ReplyDeleteAwesome ep...sooooo glad it's back! 😀
ReplyDeleteShe never says to fight for her. She just gets flirty.
ReplyDeleteI actually jumped off the couch I was lying on at the sight of Nissa "complimenting" Laurel, like I had serious vibes about her approach. Perhaps because of their similar yet distinct daddy issues but I'm kinda liking it.
ReplyDeleteHopefully Nissa proves to be a better teacher to Laurel than Oliver was, as if he ever trained her at all after Ted left the scene.
Both must have shared the same designer to replicate the same suit. hehe
ReplyDeleteSeriously! what a coincidence.
ReplyDeleteloved it to even if I don't get all the hype they made about The Offer to Oliver.
ReplyDeleteAs always I agree with you ODA.
I've been asking that question ever since Stephen posted the photo of him fighting another Arrow. I agree especially since Lance is not helping.
ReplyDeleteSo this was this episodes main plot? Guess I did good on missing the episode
ReplyDeleteI think this is one of the few times we actually agree on something...this is weird. I'm not used to this.
ReplyDeleteThis episode felt like it came from a season 2 heaven. Original Team Arrow connecting again, Oliver finding his way to be a hero and flirty Olicity.
ReplyDeleteAwesome episode! That ending was not expecting it. And most importantly we finally have someone to teach Laurel.
ReplyDeleteMust admit i am gonna laugh so hard if they start the next round in sister swapping. And then Sara turns up alive.
ReplyDeleteYou know the Arrow writers love these things. And apparently we will know the Sara issue by spring.
ReplyDeleteWe are soul sisters *fist bump*
ReplyDeleteLOL, how come I've never seen this???
ReplyDeleteRobbie looks twelve on this promo, I love it!
So we won't know it this season? BTW when is spring? I live in a country which has only two seasons. Even if Arrow writers make Laurel bisexual she won't have a relationship with Nyssa.
ReplyDeleteMarch 20th is the begining of Spring. I just wouldnt put it pass this writers.
ReplyDeleteI thought Oliver was going to be set up but never imagined it would be by Ra's! He was the worst big bad ever until now, so I'm kind of glad he joined the party!
ReplyDeleteRay didn't irk me nearly as much this episode and I thought that I was gonna hate him even more.
ReplyDeleteMarch 20th is tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteAbout Nyssa the trainer. I think she will be temporary until Sara returns. Did you see that lady assassin Ra's guided in front of Oliver. All sorts of warning bells rang for me there. Could it be Lady Shiva? If she is then she could be Laurel's mentor next year.
ReplyDeleteLaurel saying "but you tried to kill your father Thea" in exclamations irritated me.
Are you a foreign resident there? Just curious. :)
ReplyDeleteYes. I am from India. Currently living here for two years.
ReplyDeleteOoh, nice. Do you get Arrow there on cable?
ReplyDeleteDid he say that in a Paley Fest interview? I truly believe Caity will play Sara itself. Now will she play canary or if she will take another moniker is the question. I don't think they would want two canaries in the same universe. They don't have the guts or belief to pull it off. Otherwise they would never have killed Sara.
ReplyDeleteUsually, writers plan and map everything out in advance before filming so I'm hoping they know what they're doing, especially with they're going to do with Caity's character.
ReplyDeleteWe get it here in a channel broadcast from UAE. But season 3 is yet to start here. I watch it on internet.
ReplyDeleteYeah. And that its timeline will be the same as Flash/Arrow.
ReplyDeleteOoh. So there will be a time jump between this season's finale of Flash/Arrow and the season premiere of new show. So lot of crossover opportunities.
ReplyDeleteWell spin-off start around midseason. So i am guessing around the time of midseason finale it will start amping up.
ReplyDeleteThey had the same issue last season with Flash backdoor pilot of episode 20 being cancelled.
ReplyDeleteI have a feeling some of the characters like Sara or some new characters may guest star one or two of Arrow and Flash episodes before mid season finale of next season.
ReplyDelete
