  1. WHY WEREN'T YOU GUYS WRONG?!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHY DID YOU HAVE TO BE SO SMART?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WE'VE BEEN FIGHTING RAMSE ALL THIS TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! COLE'S BROTHER IS THE BIG BAD OF THE SHOW!!!!!!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cassie DOES care then, that's better

    ReplyDelete
  2. So much to say!

First off: Whoa time travel. So much of it tonight it's enough to make your head spin.

All 3 of my major theories I had came true tonight:

    -Ramse is the Witness
-Aaron did go to the 12 Monkeys (to give them information or something else in exchange for sparing Cassie's and his life, I assume)
-Cole was slingshot to 2015 and won't be time traveling again anytime soon

    Good News:

-The 12 Monkeys have been preserving the timeline for Ramse's sake. Now that they're caught up and Ramse doesn't know what happens next Cole-wise, maybe Cole and Cassie can finally break the time loop they're in and make a difference!
-If Cole's going to get stuck anywhere, 2015 is the place to be

    ReplyDelete
  3. I haven't watched it yet. What happened with Cassie and Cole? I assume it was the very last scene (also did anyone watch the promo?)

    ReplyDelete
  4. Poor Ivan, I feel for you, you're so distressed right now. Maybe you should eat a choco bar? It could cheer you up. :)

    ReplyDelete
  5. Not much of Cole and Cassie. She finds him on the ground bloody, dying, in the library. (Ramse stabbed him)

    ReplyDelete
  6. I've made my peace with it. Seems like all too often the friend turns out bad in TV and movies.

    ReplyDelete
  7. I doubt it will get resolved in the finale, though. But I'm curious to see the ep since they didn't know if they would get renewal when it was filmed.

    ReplyDelete
  8. No I don't think it will either. The 12 Monkeys team is still a powerful foe. And if Aaron's giving them info that won't help.

    ReplyDelete
  9. Bright side of this episode ivan: Cole is stuck in 2015 now and Aaron's going to the 12 Monkeys. How long before Aaron's secret gets out?

    ReplyDelete
  10. should've believed you , sorry and she even got her hope back. Why is that anyway?when didn't you need any more hints to know that Ramse is The Witness. I basically knew when olivia sent him the letter

    ReplyDelete
  11. yeah she finds him almost dying and tells her he figured out why the 12 Monkeys have been ahead of them this whole time and the identity of The Witness. The promo like always is CRAZY fast but they showed Cassie going to young Jones and tells her about Cole and Aaron saying to Cole that the Splintering is killing him

    ReplyDelete
  12. i need 10 of those to even begin to cheer me up LOL, thanks

    ReplyDelete
  13. why is that? i hate this word but why always have that trope. This is like Miles and Monroe from Revolution all over again!

    ReplyDelete
  14. Me too. It was the letter that confirmed it for me. And also, I'm glad we got rid of that Ramse is the Pallid Man theory. They look nothing alike and Pallid man is so much taller than him.

    ReplyDelete
  15. I don't know. Drama for the sake of drama. It instantly makes it way more complicated and personal when the enemy is someone you know.

    ReplyDelete
  16. I have no idea why she got her hope back. Maybe because she wasn't drunk? As Cole said, it wasn't helping. :P

    ReplyDelete
  17. true VERY true nice, thanks LOL. Doesn't make it easier though knowing this whole time we've been watching the fall of Ramse: the moral center, the conscience, the person feeding the good wolf turn into a psychopathic leader of murderous cult. It depends on what Aaron has to do, but definitely before the end of the season, i think in the interview they said we find out basically everything and i think that included Aaron

    ReplyDelete
  18. you think she was drunk talking? is that a thing? LOL

    ReplyDelete
  19. they DO call him the Tall Man LOL but yeah for a second i thought maybe but nah the compound would've blown up if that happened HA!

    ReplyDelete
  20. That reminds me, I asked myself why is it only now I realized that when the two objects are close together and cause an explosion it's because they're combining/coming back together? I only realized that with the necklaces and now I feel I should have known that before.

    ReplyDelete
  21. I don't know. I'm sort of joking here.

    ReplyDelete
  22. now we know why it hasn't changed, Ramse wasn't letting it happen. Nice theory about the loop being stopped but Aaron, eesh this guy screwed up BIG time. You're right about Cole being stuck anywhere, it's in 2015. Did you notice in the "Previously On..." they showed all the loved ones to the characters and they showed Cole and Cassie?

    ReplyDelete
  23. ohh! they're coming together? i thought they exploded. But the watches in the premiere?

    ReplyDelete
  24. LO but i'm glad she has her hope back, SOMEONE needs it after all the crap they've been through

    ReplyDelete
  25. If you look after the explosion, only one necklace was left. And in the first episode it was the same with the watch. Only one came flying out of the room and fell next to Goines' body.

    ReplyDelete
  26. are you calling Aaron an antagonist, not just a ROMANTIC antagonist but a villain-like one?

    ReplyDelete
  27. Yes definitely. She was also a voice of reason tonight with Aaron. He really thinks she'd hide with him while everyone else dies? Cassie's the least selfish person on this show. It's not going to happen man!

    ReplyDelete
  28. son of a... WOW! so what would happen if that happened to Cole even if he's immune to paradoxes? did you notice the grass turning red? it feels like that's the Red Forest but maybe i'm wrong

    ReplyDelete
  29. yeah she is isn't she? strange seeing AARON drunk this time

    ReplyDelete
  30. I don't know for sure yet if it's the Red Forest, but I'm sure that's how the Red Forest was created.

It's also made me wonder more why Cole's splinter in the bar last episode caused the plants there to go red.

Something about paradoxes and/or time travel makes plants go red. I want to know why so bad right now.

    ReplyDelete
  31. I guess everyone on this show's getting their turn. I think it was much weirder to see Goines high while discussing the value of an ancient corpse.

    ReplyDelete
  32. No, just a selfish idiot. lol He has no idea what he's doing.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Why isn't ramse aging?

    ReplyDelete
  34. Yeah. I wouldn't read into previously on stuff too much but I know it's going to happen. I have faith that the writers will do something to make me happy. We couldn't keep Cole's and Ramse's friendship. We better at least get some romance.

    ReplyDelete
  35. And the Pallid Man and Olivia the Striking Woman. There is something up with them all.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Who could Olivia be? How would she know about Ramse? Why is she not aging either?

    ReplyDelete
  37. I'm guessing they are all time travelers sent by Jones's failed experiment and time traveler never ages because of Jones's injection?

    ReplyDelete
  38. or maybe they didn't want to recast or age them up LOL

    ReplyDelete
  39. Jennifer's mom LOL

    ReplyDelete
  40. don't want him with Cassie obviously but i don't think he's an idiot, he's in love. Let's just hope he's not another Ramse, did you even RECOGNIZE him? the way he talked to Cole in Tokyo, the jail scene. I cannot believe we loved him

    ReplyDelete
  41. Observer-style from Fringe?

    ReplyDelete
  42. yeah i guess than just having an enemy. It happened on The Flash too with Professor Zoom

    ReplyDelete
  43. Ah, why'd you have to bring Fringe up? I miss that show and September. Sniff

    ReplyDelete
  44. I don't think it's quite like the Observers. They were changed genetically. Made to be who they were.

    ReplyDelete
  45. sorry LOL, Fringe really WAS the BEST sci-fi show in Television wasn't it? man i miss it so MUCH

    ReplyDelete
  46. Me too. I got into the show late though. I started watching Season 1 as Season 5 was running. I only saw the last few episodes as they aired for the first time.

    ReplyDelete
  47. if you're thinking that then didn't technically the injections make them who they are? then September aka Donald turned normal and his son Michael AW I MISS FRINGE SO MUCH!!!! can you BELIEVE they named the Striking Woman olivia?! they wanted to punch Fringe fans in the gut, giving that name to someone evil and saying to Kirk Acevedo aka Charlie

    ReplyDelete
  48. oh wow i thought you were a long-time viewer. How much did you hate the Fauxlivia arc in season 3?

    ReplyDelete
  49. Well, love can make you an idiot. :P Going to the enemy for help is not what I'd consider a smart solution.

The Ramse we knew is gone. They may as well have been 2 different people.

I think before the jail time there was still some of him left. Even when he stabbed Cole, he was shocked at what he did and as his lawyer mentioned felt guilty as well. But after that jail time, all that suffering and the letters, it's definitely turned him into a completely different person. A cold shell of what he used to be.

    ReplyDelete
  50. I honestly don't remember how all that worked. I thought it was part of their genetics.

    ReplyDelete
  51. They look kind of alike don't they?

    ReplyDelete
  52. oh God i completely forgot the Lincoln arc, and that one? you're lucky long-time fans had to go through for unbearable weeks, i know i shouldn't( because they gave it to us in Olivia's dream) but they never gave us a full love-making scene between Peter and Olivia

    ReplyDelete
  53. it was a chip in their neck, when they took iy out of September he turned normal

    ReplyDelete
  54. why not? they wouldn't have put if it meant nothing. Yeah thst BETTER give this to us after what they just did

    ReplyDelete
  55. yeah i saw that look in Tokyo, he's just gone isn't he? Cole's brother is dead

    ReplyDelete
  56. Years in a prison like that can do that to a person. Lesson: Don't get stuck in a jail in a foreign country. Makes the US prisons look tame.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Yes. Yes. So it's not the same as injections.

    ReplyDelete
  58. i honestly think it's because they didn't want age-up the characters LOL

    ReplyDelete
  59. Yes, this episode has brought us "full circle" with this series! The writing is well thought out and clever, which is why this series gets better and better each episode. Much like Helix the second half of the season has been great (No Spoilers). I stand by what I originally said about the "Striking Woman"............she is SCARY...........for a reason! I knew Ramse (he was just to self centered and self serving for me) wasn't on Cole's side, but who saw "THIS" coming........I didn't. Jennifer episodes are always the best IMO.............people need to start listening to her. I'm not sure why more people aren't watching this series, but they should because this is well written science - fiction at it's best! 4 THE MONKEY SCIENCE MADNESS, I am Nobody!!!

    ReplyDelete
  60. Probably. But they're going to have to write something in to explain it.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Aaron's new job is apparently what will become Spearhead

    ReplyDelete
  62. Wow that was an amazing episode, so much strong acting, approaching Penny Dreadful levels at this stage! This show just continues to surprise and amaze me, I'm beyond glad it's renewed :) Can't wait to see how they end the season.

    ReplyDelete
  63. Stupid Ramse, well at least now season 2 will be about, Cole and Cassie fighting together to stop the unstoppable!!, GOOD!!.

    ReplyDelete
  64. principe.encantador28 March 2015 at 09:18

I liked very much as Ramse yelled at Cole "Whole world's gonna die. You, me, Cassie" Ramse knowed that last word was going to cause more damage to Cole.

    ReplyDelete
  65. I had a lot of hope for 12 Monkeys when it debuted, but my expectations have been dashed...BIG time!

I'm mostly not liking the casting & characters. As much as I like Aaron Stanford (from X-Men and Nikita), he's just not capable of carrying a TV series. It's a little like having Adam Sandler playing Macbeth...it just doesn't work. Noah Bean is more of a compelling "Lead" actor type, but he's cast as the 2d banana boyfriend. And, Amanda Schull, who I believe could carry off a Leading Role, isn't given much to work with.

Beyond that, I think we all knew Ramse was going to turn out to be more of a Baddie than a Good Guy, so this twist didn't really have the impact that the writers hoped for. I'll watch the last episode of the season--and hope for the best in Season 2.

    ReplyDelete
  66. Well, It's completely opposite for me.

I love the casting and maybe I was in denial but I did not see Ramse going bad. I did however see the Witness reveal afterwards.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Saw the sneak peek it enforces that Cassie cares. :)

    ReplyDelete
  68. I didn't actually expect to be correct, but it's my right to say "I told you so".The moment a promo indicated that Ramse might be going back, I was all: "He's the Witness! That's why they Always know what's gonna happen!" Then, when Jennifer was ranting about how fathers and men are responsible for the world falling appart, I thought: "She doen't sound like such a fan of Cole anymore... oh no, she must have switched sides at some point." I can't wait to see what happens next! I really liked this episode because Ramse went through so much character development. He's a real enemy to contend with now, not just a desperate idiot who threw himself into a time machine. I just wonder how much power he'll have left in the organisation now that he hasn't witnessed anything more to be useful. I think the weird founded by the 12 Monkeys that work with emergency measures in case of a cataclysm will turn out to be the ones to invent the time-machine. Maybe Jones herself, the Spearhead staff and all the military folk will turn out to have unknowingly worked for the enemy before that plague. Maybe that's why THEY got a bunker to themselves, being THE government experts on disasters.

    ReplyDelete
  69. I think the casting is the best thing about this show. Outside of the amazing writing and filming and pacing. etc. Noah Bean is great but he's no Cole. I literally laughed out loud at the idea of it.

    ReplyDelete
  70. I think it represents death as in order for death to occur blood must be spilled and lots of it lol.

Possibly by combing the past and future it creates the color red as neutral. Damn it where is Fringe writers when you need them lol

Btw who the hell is the father of that women when Tall man said your father was right. Is it possible her father is someone we haven't met before?

    ReplyDelete
  71. But how it is possible both Ramse existed in both timelines? ever time cole came back ramse was there while the other ramse was busy staying in the shadows. It's logically impossible to have a person from future end up in the past and then suddenly has another version in the future.

    ReplyDelete
  72. Hey Ivan wanna bet there will be a battle of Ramses lol

    ReplyDelete
  73. Why hasn't Wells aged on The Flash lol same reasons for any time traveler no matter how far they go back and stay they can't age till time itself catches on. take vampires for instance when they die the time for them stops but once cured the time that stopped for them resumes and begins to catch up really quick for them lol.

    ReplyDelete
  74. I also think the casting is one of the best things about the show!

    ReplyDelete
  75. We don't know that Wells hasn't aged. It's not like we saw a flashback to what he looked like when he got there. And I somehow doubt ALL og the 12 monkeys people (Olivia, pale man, etc...) are eternally preserved time travellers, even if Ramse is.

    ReplyDelete
  76. I remember Ramse said that without the injections the time jump wouldnt happen. I believe those injections what's keeping them from aging.

    ReplyDelete
  77. It's kind of ironic how it may stop Cole from aging, but it's even more efficiently Killing him

    ReplyDelete
  78. nice Fringe writers would make it easy LOL and maybe

    ReplyDelete
  79. THANK YOU! that confused me too, we finally found out why Cassie and Cole haven't been able to change things: because Ramse wouldn't let them but there were still TWO Ramses, they need to explain that. Although remember when the West 7 invaded the Splinter Compound , there were two Coles

    ReplyDelete
  80. Fauxlivia and Olivia style?

    ReplyDelete
  81. yeah i saw it, she has a GUN on Jones! Everything i was thinking about Cassie not caring was erased in that sneak peek LOL

    ReplyDelete
  82. definitely, can you BELIEVE him?! he LEFT his son FOREVER he will NEVER see him and says that to Cole, his BROTHER

    ReplyDelete
  83. yeah irony at its worst, good point

    ReplyDelete
  84. That's bc he splintered a day earlier but ramse went much further lol. why they hell he went back when he just lost everything lol

    ReplyDelete
  85. right?! LOL moron evil moron now but still moron HA! he could've just been raising his son but NOOO! he just HAD to go back in time and try to destroy the world and fight his best friend

    ReplyDelete
  86. i'd pay money to see that! LOL and it'd be more awesome since Kirk Acevedo was on Fringe

    ReplyDelete
  87. yeah it's been theorized that Aaron's new job is what will become Spearhed

    ReplyDelete
  88. Time travel. Argh. I can't even really begin to make sense of that one because Cole and Jones are the reason Ramse jumped into the time machine in the first place.

Therefore, if there is such a thing as a "first timeline" (or the first release of the virus that led to the need for time travel) it would likely have to be one without Ramse jumping into the machine. The virus would have been released with or without Ramse's presence (and Cole's presence or else there would have never been a reason for him to time travel either). Ramse is just the Witness, he's been telling them where Cole's going to be, what to do next, etc. so he didn't have an effect on the virus release, just how and maybe when it was.

If you're talking about the 12 Monkeys knowing he was coming, I have no idea how. Maybe one of them jumped into the future, or are from the future, I just don't know. If you're saying in order for them to know Ramse would have had to tell them, I just don't know how that would work.

    ReplyDelete
  89. Yeah, I'm not even going to begin to guess who Olivia's (aka the striking woman) father is.

I know red's (and black) associated with death, I just was wondering how paradoxes, etc. affected living plants, causing them to change color. (And only plants)

    ReplyDelete
  90. *smacks everyone face* where is walter bishop lol

    ReplyDelete
  91. What if its a game of capture the flag? green represents cole and his team while red represents 12 monkeys lol

    ReplyDelete
  92. Yeah Ramse thinks he's saving his son, but he left him in a terrible future world where he most likely will die young if not from a virus mutation, from scavengers or a number of diseases the can't get vaccinations for anymore due to the lack of governments, hospitals, etc.

As Cole said once, in the future they basically live like wild animals, and wild animals aren't known to live long lives.

    ReplyDelete
  93. I can't picture Noah Bean acting as someone who's been living in a post-apocalyptic world -partly because of the past roles I've seen him in (on Nikita and OUAT). Plus Aaron Stanford's got a more rugged look to him - even his voice.

    ReplyDelete
  94. right? i was so surprised when i found out Aaron Stanford was picked as the lead but he's been doing an outstanding job and hey Noah Bean was more than just a government guy!

    ReplyDelete
  95. It's the act of time jumping that's doing the real damage to Cole. He's done it so often while Ramse only did it once.

    ReplyDelete
  96. Of course! But he was always in a suit on Nikita I got comfortable with that.

    ReplyDelete
  97. No need for that. Jeez. lol It's not my fault they make time travel so complicated. And I'm no physicist. I barely survived that class. :P

    ReplyDelete
  98. I watched all 2005 Doctor Who episodes and understood their time travel along with The Flash but this is just a hot mess lol

    ReplyDelete
  99. NCIS Gibbs smack for a smack. Now you're just being completely silly.

    ReplyDelete
  100. The Flash has barely scratched the surface of its time travel rules.

Yes, 12 Monkeys is the most complex time travel I've seen.

    ReplyDelete
  101. true that! and when he WAS in regular clothes it was so WEIRD LOL

    ReplyDelete
  102. and time travel threatening to KILL someone? that's definitely a first

    ReplyDelete
  103. Great episode. I wish they'd shown more of the 80's, just because I think the 80's is a fun time period to portray on screen.

This is a series a person could definitely watch a few times to piece things together.

    ReplyDelete
  104. he also only got injected once. I sort of feel like he would need a regular fix of the stuff to stay young, but that's just my opinion. we have no idea what those injections actually do to the body aside from seemingly preparing it for the damage of time jumping

    ReplyDelete
  105. wait, that was a theory? That Ramse wold somehow age into some flower-obsessed homocidal old man? oh god, the horror!

    ReplyDelete
  106. I have some half-thought out theory that I don't think makes much sense because I don't have enough information yet but I'll guve it a try anyway:
You know how when you put a mentos in a can of coca-cola, the Whole thing just sort of blows up? The trick wouldn't work if it was any other mint dropped into the drink or if it was any other soda instead of coke. It may be simplistic, but I think the same basic principle applies to paradoxes and plants. Nothing shifted color when Cole put the two watches together because it was the wrong ingredients for that kind of reaction. Not sure what it is about PLANTS that bring just the right thing to the mix though. I also have some vague thought about there being a link between Cole's offhand "Mother nature doesn't like it when you move her furniture around", the cycle of life in trees (who shift color before dying for the winter and then start back in the spring) and Darwin's theory of evolution with the stringets species adadpting to changing circumstances.
Not sure if you follow, but that's my thought process on the subject

    ReplyDelete
  107. *Whats over there?* *double Gibbs smack head* lol. red forest clearly is an obsession for the 12 monkeys and they probably wanna turn the whole world into it lol

    ReplyDelete
  108. Maybe the writers were blinded by terminator Arnold streaking in the wild lol.
